I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

Having problem with sudden shutdown on battery...
Is there a way to test the battery? I can stay on the battery for about an hour and the "plug in warning" no longer appears, the screen just goes blank. Once I plug in and restart I haven't had the same issue yet. So I assume it's the battery. Could it be a software issue?
MacBook Pro 1.83 1 gig Mac OS X (10.4.8)The same here... Yesterday my MBP instantly stopped. Without any reason and/or message with 30% battery level. Only with the adapter connected he was starting up. When running it on battery and starting up i hear the HD start running and the dvdplayer get initialized. After that it goes off again.
I just came back from the apple store and they gave me a new battery.. now its working all fine again. They will inform me.
Ps. i did exchange the old battery before and this was the new one... -
Is anyone having problems with the battery drains quickly and the iphone4 heats up in use and in charging after upgrading to 5.1.1?
I have had the same problem but I seem to be getting somewhere to fixing it!!! My battery was going down at 20% an an hour now its 10% with constant use and 5 in standby !!! So improvement all round
First I did a restore then I drained the battery i started to charge it and when it came on I turned the phone off completely and let it charge to 100% I then left it for a couple of hours on charge at 100. I saw no improvement after 1st drain so I repeated the drain battery and charge steps again with the phone turned off when charging and have seen a very big improvement. I am going to do it again tonight and hopefully problem solved!!!!
The next issue is iMessage as that's playing up and wifi drop out

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius. -

Am having problem with my iPhone 4s calendar events showing up on my iPad . Have turned calendar off & on in both devices, to no avail
On the iPhone, check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar. Here be sure you have selected the calendar listed under your iCloud account name as your default. If you haven't, change this, then enter a new event on the phone's calendar and see if it syncs to the iPad now.

Do you have an active data connection (wifi or cellular)? Have you tried resetting the phone by pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the apple appears (this is different than just turning it off and back on).

I'm having problems with my email account. I receive emails when I'm in a wifi zone. But if the wifi is turned off and i'm not in a zone I don't receive my emails through the cellular network. Only when I power off the phone and turn it back on, do I receive the emails through the cellualr network (again with the wifi off)
In your email settings on the phone check to make sure it is set to receive emails on cellular network. It's a feature you can turn off so your phone isn't constantly updating emails on the cell network, but if you are usually in a place with wifi and aren't concerned about going over your data allowance, you can turn it back on.

No I haven´t take it to Apple Store, i think I will actually. My iphone was jailbroken and ulocked with gevey sim, but when this failures began i decided to restore it, and I did preserve the baseband, but when I took it into one of these "Places" they told me it would be a good idea to do a clean restore and see if this fixed the problem so I upgraded my baseband, and right now my iphone is freshly restore, no jailbreak no nothing.
Btw yes something like a year ago my screen was replaces by others not by apple, but I didnt had any issues after this.. until today (a little more than a year later). -

I'm sorry to learn that your phone is having problems starting up, marinema08. I'm sorry if this is incorrect, but are you using the original HTC Droid Incredible or a later Droid Incredible model? I seem to be having an ongoing problem with my iMessage! First started last week when everybody was having problems with iMessage, however mine is doing it again tonight! My iMessage has been fine all day but stopped working this evening and I've tried restarting phone and iPad but not worked. I've turned iMessage off and now it won't let me activate it, says my apple ID is incorrect - which I've used it else where and its fine. It's not just my phone - same problem on iPad! Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
