I'm having trouble installing Firefox version 6.0.1 The setup wizard is telling me to close Firefox before it can go any further after I've chosen the standard setup. I closed Firefox and clicked the NEXT button again and it tells me the same thing.
I've already tried re-downloading the setup wizard for Firefox 6.0.1 again and re-running it, but I still have the same problem as before.

There is a more technical explanation in the Mozilla bug referenced above in the thread, but the simplified version is that the security enhancements designed to prevent the introduction of malware via Flash Player make RealPlayer Browser Record plug-in no longer compatible with Flash Player for Firefox. You can disable the record functionality to eliminate this issue, while retaining the ability to view both Flash and Real Player content.
To disable the Real Player Browser Record functionality while maintaining the enhanced security provided by Flash Player with Protected Mode, do the following:
Launch RealPlayer
Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper-left corner of the window, and choose Preferences
Choose Download & Recording from the left-hand menu
Uncheck "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browser"
Click OK

Well, let's hope that nothing was jiggled out of place when you were installing the new hard drive. Your optical drive may just be out of alignment or the disc you have is "dirty." Get a lint-free cloth and some rubbing alcohol, then clean the disc as thoroughly as you can starting from the center and working outward in a concentric circlular motion. See if that helps. In particular clean the inner portion well.
If this does not help, then you have a problem. You have opened the computer yourself. That action voids all support from Apple. If you take the computer in for service the store may refuse to service the computer. This is not related to your now expired warranty. -

I get to the pop up that says open or save install-flash-player-ax-exe (16.3MB) from download.macromedia.com? Open Save Cancel banner and it will not do any of the three options

Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

It will not install your machine is close to 7 years old and the newest Flash Player will not install on that old of an Operating System.
If you have flash on there already then thats probably the best your going to get.
You can Google and see what is the latest version for your Operating System. -

If you have a serial number, you simply need to enter it into the proper fields.
Since you don't say what version of Lightroom, and what sections are "blocked off", let me guess that you have Lightroom CC, and you need to enter the serial number to turn it into Lightroom 6. To install the certificate, you only have to scan the provided QR code. The code appears when you click the “Install the certificate” link that you see after you generate an application. Press the magnifying glass at the bottom of the mobile phone to launch
Bing search, and then press the eye icon that appears at the bottom of the screen. Point the phone’s camera at the QR code, and the phone will automatically scan it.
Important: Once installed, the phone will take you back to the original screen with a button that says “Install Certificate”. There is no feedback that communicates the success or failure of the installation procedure.
After this, you can install your app by scanning the provided QR code, by following the same procedure used to install the certificate.

Thanks for your email. I was able to download and install this morning without any problems. I uninstalled the old version yesterday and restarted my computer but still got errors. However when I turned off last night, windows ran updates and that must of fixed the problem. I also got rid of firefox and put of google chrome. All to use Australia Posts click and send which wouldn't work because of an error with the plugin. Thanks for your very quick reply, I appreciate your help. Have a great day. I'm having trouble instaling a printer driver for my Canon MG5220. I downloaded the latest printer driver from the Canon website (10.67.1.0) and installed it on my Intel iMac.
