I'm using beats by dre wireless headphones

hi there i'm using beats by dre wireless headphones, but i have a delay on the audio when watching videos, can anyone help me solve this?

don't believe it's a beats issue but a general bluetooth headset issue nor is it a iphone or ios issue but all devices could suffer from computer to smartphone
it's impossible for the iphone to know what proccesing the bluetooth headset does to the music at what
delay that would cause
and the head set don't even know that there is any image it need to sync with
so apple could not fix it in their end
and the headset maker can't really fix it in their end
apart from not trying to improve and filter noise and the likes from the audio
because that is what takes the time that cause the delay
so maybe the solution is using the cheapests worst sounding bluetooth headset you can find
as it would not cause a delay by trying to proccess the audio

  • Can i use my smartphone as wireless headphones with apple tv so I don't disturb my wife when I'm up working late

I've seen that there are a few apps like LocalCast on Android that allow you to use the phone as wireless headphones - is there a way of doing so with Apple TV??

no but you can get tons of solutions where you connect something to your tv's minijack headset connector and then it wireless transfer the audio signal to a headset
there are both bluetooth solutions belkin have one I use and there are also solutions where the headset is included and they use their own custom protocol
but mind you there is no way to keep such setups in sync in terms of video and audio so if the system is poor in quality or pre-process the audio signal too much it cause audio and visuals to get out of sync

  • Beats By Dre

Anyone that spends a decent amount of time listening to music through headphones knows what a wide range of sound quality and comfort you can get from different models of headphones. I spend a good portion of my days with my headphones on to help block out the noise around me and to listen to my favorite bands to help me focus and concentrate. I’ve gone through many different models over the years in search of the most comfortable options with the best sound, and I know that what many people recommend and are looking for are Beats By Dre headphones. There are a few variations among the different models of Beats By Dre, so I wanted to take some time to highlight some of the features and differences you’ll find.
Beats By Dre can be separated into two general categories; over-the-ear/on-ear headphones and earphones. We’ll take a look at both, and start with the models of headphones.
    Beats By Dre Headphones
    Solo HD
The Beats By Dre Solo HD headphones are a great place to start when considering Beats By Dre headphones with their lighter, more compact design. Of course, these design features don’t compromise sound quality, and you’ll still get the clear highs and the deep bass that Beats By Dre headphones are known for. They come in a variety of colors including black, red, green, blue, and more. They also have a folding design to make them easier to carry with you.
    Includes:
Beats By Dre Solo HD headphones
3.5mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    Carrying case
    Cleaning cloth
    Mixr
Taking the step to the Beats By Dre Mixr headphones, you’ll discover an incredibly durable set of headphones that are built to cater to the needs of DJs. They’re made with a more flexible headband and also feature rotating earcups that allow for single-ear monitoring, perfect for DJs. These headphones are also unique in that they have an audio cable port on each earcup which allows you to daisy-chain your audio and share it. Basically, you can be plugged in to your audio source with one input, and someone else can plug into the other audio port to hear what you’re hearing. With DJs in mind, this model was also built to continue to deliver quality, deep bass even as you turn up the volume. They come in a variety of colors including black, white, blue, green, yellow, and more. They also have a folding design to make it easier to take them with you wherever you go.
    Includes:
    Beats By Dre Mixr headphones
3.5 mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    1/4" audio adapter
    Carrying case
    Cleaning cloth
    Studio
The Beats By Dre Studio headphones are the original model of Beats, and feature active noise cancellation. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, the noise cancellation feature on these headphones helps to block out external noise so that you can listen to the amazing sound quality that they produce with fewer distractions. Also, you’ll find that the Beats logo on the side of these headphones isn’t just for looks, it also acts as a mute button when pressed. They come in a variety of colors including black, white, red, and blue, and feature a folding design to make it easier to carry them with you.
    Includes:
    Beats By Dre Studio headphones
3.5mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    1/4" audio adapter
    2 "AAA" batteries
    Hard-shell carrying case
    Cleaning cloth
    Wireless
The Beats By Dre Wireless headphones allow you to enjoy the sound quality that Beats are known for without a cord getting in the way. These headphones can connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices from up to 30’ away, and even have audio controls on the earcups so you don’t even have to pull out your MP3 player or walk back to your audio source to change songs or adjust the volume. They feature a rechargeable battery that can provide up to 10 hours of playback and are easily rechargeable with the provided USB charging cable. They feature a folding design that makes it easier to carry them with you.
    Includes:
    Beats By Dre Wireless headphones
    USB charging cable
3.5mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    Carrying case
    Cleaning cloth
    Executive
The Beats By Dre Executive headphones are designed to provide you with incredible sound quality wherever you travel. They feature a fold-flat design that makes it easier to pack them for travel, and also have active noise cancellation powered by 2 AAA batteries to filter out the external noise that goes along with traveling, whether it’s on a plane, train, or in a car. They’re lightweight and have pivoting earcups so you can comfortably wear them for extended periods of time.
    Includes:
    Beats By Dre Executive headphones
3.5mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    1/4" audio adapter
    Airline adapter
    2 "AAA" batteries
    Hard-shell carrying case
    Cleaning cloth
    Pro
The Beats By Dre Pro headphones are designed so you can experience music the way it was meant to be heard. They feature a sound-isolating design that helps to reduce external sounds to improve the clarity of the audio coming through the headphones. This is different than active noise cancellation because it doesn’t require a powered device or batteries to filter the noise. They also feature dual audio ports like the Mixr headphones so you can share what you’re listening to. They feature a folding design that makes it easier to carry them with you.
    Includes:
    Beats By Dre Pro headphones
3.5mm audio cable with in-line audio controls and microphone
    1/4" audio adapter

  • Beats wireless headphones

I have a MacBook Air from mid 2012.  I wanted to know the Beats Studio HD wireless Headphones are compatible with my Mac?  I have issues syncing my Phone6  through Bluetooth so I wasn't sure.  Thanks

Hey Imaginos7, Volume is your issue with Beats? Really... Quality of the sound reproduction, durability, overall quality of the product would be much higher on my list of issues. Imaginos, Instead of going for max. volume, and having to deal with some permanent hearing damage (tinnitus) for the last 20 years+/-, (that little ringing in my ears that never goes away-- sometimes I swear the people next to me should be able to hear it), let me give you some advice... "TURN IT DOWN!!!" The ringing never goes away, it is with you, everywhere you go, and it get's madding at times. The only thing I can find for beats headphones output is 115Db, that's just shy of jets taking off and rock concerts! Anything over 80Db, (about the noise of a lawn mower from 5 to 10 feet) for more than 30 minutes is causing you damage, anything over 120Db only takes a few seconds to a few minutes, 140Db+ and you go deaf in seconds! If the volume is more than speaking volume from your headphones-- your doing damage. Now, with that said, If your attempting to drown out the outside world, invest in a good set of noise canceling headphones, unless you like the idea of always having to list to a sharp high C. (And just incase your wondering most of my damage came from racing bikes, from the wind rushing pass my ears for hours on end, the rest of background noise where I work, a few concerts, wearing headphones and age, or so the doctors tell me. And there is nothing that can be done to stop that fool ringing, protect your hearing, OK). Cheers.

  • Beats by dre urbeats remote buttons don't work

I have the Beats by Dre Urbeats headphones. Last time i used them, i was able to control my music with the remote buttons. Now the remote buttons don't work anymore. When i try it with my apple earpods, there is no problem. The earpods work just fine. Does somebody knows how it's possible that my beats headphones don't work anymore?

The remote app requires home sharing to be enabled on ATV and both to be on the same network. The OP is currently trying to configure the network, a physical remote will be needed for this.

  • MSI GT70 AND ASTRO A50 WIRELESS HEADPHONES

Has anyone been using the Astro A50 wireless headphones with their MSI gaming laptop? I am curious how you decided to connect it, since unfortunately all the cables or converters are not included by Astro.
What cables or converters did you use to connect and are you satisfied with the quality of the headphones with games and music? Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi ive used the msi gt70 for a while now and, since this mondey ive got myselv a roccat kave 5,1 headset. Ive switeched realtek audio to 5,1 mode and suddenly i found out there were no microphone output. ive tried to reassign the jacks with regedit but with no luck. so i guess im playing games without a mic....... and this annoys the crp out of me. help msi community im having such frustrations with this issue. also i end up with
    -headphones/speaker/s,pdif,out =
    -center/bass
    -rear L/R
    -front L/R
The only way to get a microphone input to work with the GT70 is to use Stereo/headphones/SPDIF out. If you select anything other than just 2 channels (or SPDIF out), you lose the microphone input.
Another option would be to get a cheap USB sound card and use the microphone input to that.
Personally, I got a Asus Xonar U3 for use at home because I use a dolby digital stereo and the Xonar U3 is the only sound device (for less than $100) that will upconvert audio from 2 channels to dolby digital 5.1 channel audio.
Anyway, long story short, you need to only use 1 jack for audio output, and 1 jack for audio input.

  • Does the Ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to headphones. Us older folks would like to use wireless headphones versus earphones with a wire.

Is the  ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to wireless headphones. I am 57 and do not like earphones and wire. Would like to get the nano. I understand the iphone 4 can use wireless headphones, but i can not wear it on my wrist like a watch. Thank you. techie mawmaw.

What is your price range. I know exactly what you are talking about. I always used headphones while mowing and I used to runt he cord through my shirt to prevent it from getting caught on the steering controls of the mower but one day the cord came untucked form my pants pocket ripping the cord straight out of the headphone itself. They were nice Sennheisers to!
I ended up replacing them with these http://en-us.sennheiser.com/wireless-bluetooth-headset-headphone-smart-mobile-phone-stereo-mm-500-x they are pricey at 330 but will last you many years if they are taken care of. Sennheisers are excellent quality. Best Buy oddly doesnt carry the 500 series they have the 450 and 550 but not the 500. Completely ignore the Beats by Dr. Dre they are horrible for the price point they are!
The noise cancellation is great and they are very comfortable. Like you I dont care for earbuds as I have tried many and they all hurt my ears and on-ear style would eventually start hurting my outer ear but these are very comfy!

  • Does the UK version of the Beats By Dre Studio Wireless Headset not have a cleaning cloth included as most unboxing reviews show that one is included yet I didn't have one in my box and the 'what's in the box' section on apple store doesn't list one?

Does the UK version of the Beats By Dre Studio 2.0 Wireless Headset include a cleaning cloth?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
My battery had not been fully recharging for a while. For weeks, it would "max out" at a lower percentage, lowering incrementally pretty much weekly. No, I am not eligible for the recall.
Besides your other issues, it may simply be time for a new battery. The batteries not only have a limited number of complete charge cycles, they also have a shelf life that could expire even if you've never used it. Here is a little bit of information from Apple on batteries:
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html
As far as your hard drive is considered, I'm guessing you don't have an AppleCare Protection Plan? It really does sound like the hard drive is failing. Have you started up from your Apple Hardware Test disk yet and run the extended tests?
If you decide to replace your hard drive that's out of warranty, you just need a 2.5" IDE/ATA hard drive that's less than 9.5mm tall. (This is a standard configuration for notebooks.) While it's possible to install yourself, it's quite the operation and you may want to take your iBook to an Apple Authorized Service Provider to do it for you. Or you might consider sending your iBook in to a service like MCE Technologies to do it for you.

  • What wireless headphones are best for use with ipad2?thanks

I  am a computer newbie?!!! I had not owned a computer device of any any sort.( I know in this day and age) and I received an iPad 2 as a gift. I think my friends were tired of me asking to use their computer to receive e mail ,etc. Any way, questions galore!!! I do not even have an Internet connection in my house!! I have Dish TV and a cellular phone. NO land line . Which company is best ? Verizon ( I don't get FIOS)Optimum or?  I am overwhelmed with claims of faster speeds etc. I know I have to buy a wireless ROUTER. Which is best.  ALSO which WIRELESS HEADPHONES  for when I go to the gym? Thanks for your help!!!!

Wireless headsets, in my opinion, never work as well as I would like. Motorola makes some designed for athletic use. I'd check reviews on Amazon. You're really going to take an iPad to the gym?!?

  • Is there a way to use my iPod Nano to listen to a radio frequency with wireless headphones.  It tells me that I have to plug in my headphones to receive the stations and when I do, the wireless headphones don't work!

Is there a way to use my iPod Nano to listen to a radio frequency with wireless headphones.  It tells me that I have to plug in my headphones to receive the stations and when I do, the wireless headphones don't work!

No. I'm sorry. But, i think it uses the headphones as an antenna so it has to be plugged in to headphones in order to make it work. but, it burns the battery down so i don't use the radio function that much.

  • I am getting a lot of static when using Brookstone wireless headphones and watching movies on the Apple TV. I know it is not headphones, because they work fine when I switch it to cable TV, then the sound is clear with no static. Any suggestions?

I am getting a lot of static when using Brookstone wireless headphones and watching movies on the Apple TV. I know it is not headphones, because they work fine when I switch it to cable TV, then the sound is clear with no static. Any suggestions? Which wireless headphones work best with the apple TV?

Ok so I've been doing more testing. It's all videos on the iTunes store. Anytime I try to download a podcast or stream it or anything it's super slow. To download an episode of Diggnation it tells me over 2 hours to download but the time keeps climbing and I just stop the transfer.
Some people said it's an Open DNS thing? Maybe it is but it's not computer specific and I couldn't find a way to change the DNS settings in my Airport, only on each computer. I tried deleting PLists and restoring my Apple TV and restoring my Airport and nothing is working.
I don't know if it an issue with me, my ISP or Apple. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

  • One earbud of Tour Beats by Dre headphones has stopped working?

I understand this product is not Apple-branded, but any help or suggestions anyways would be greatly appreciated.
I have the Tour edition of the Beats by Dre earphones (they are “in-ear” headphones). Earlier today, the left earbud stopped playing music from my iMac, while the right earbud continued transmitting. I realized that for some reason, the left earbud had stopped working.
I have read multiple reviews telling me to make sure the headphone jack is plugged in, straighten the cord, change the “ear cushion,” or even blow into the headphone. None of these worked. I would like to avoid having to return the headphones; I’m hoping the problem can be self-resolved.
There are two things I have noticed that may also be important. First, I can slightly hear the music again if I completely balance sound to the left in settings. Second, the sound is only slightly lower if I take off the ear cushion; however, when I put it back on the sound cuts out again, regardless of the size or shape of the ear cushion.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated; please keep in mind that any self-resolving advice is preferred. Thanks!

I have the same problem, last year it started to buzz on the left ear and some how i fixed it, and it happened to me again yesterday. i think the problem is the earbud. When i took the earbud out and listen, its all clear, but when i put it back on, it starts to buzz and crackle in different movements of my head. but i was pleased with the sound quality on these. but poor functionality i guess.
