I must log in anew each time I go to my homepage My Yahoo- even after checking "keep me signed in for next 2 weeks"

Before downloading vers 4.0 I could set my personalized My Yahoo as my homepage and did not have to log in with password each time I opened Mozilla. I have followed all the instructions for making the signed in version of My Yahoo as the homepage, but I still keep getting a generic My Yahoo page that requires my password sign in to get to my personalized page.

I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.

I just download and install itunes 10.5 and it worked good the first days but since yesterday it crashed up, and everytime i start it it crashes again and logged me out each time. it can´t acces my itunes account. I´m using snow leopard the last version. What can i do to solve this problem and and continue using my itunes normally?

Try doing it in a WIndows Safe mode - Restart computer and hit F8 key right after your see BIOS check and choose "Safe mode with networking"
    Do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that does not work, whilst in safe mode, download Free Malwarebyte software from CNET's Download.com.  Install, update virus definition then perform a full scan.  Remove if it did find some viruses or trojans.  Restart computer.
Back to regular windows, do the SFC /SCANNOW again.
If that doesnot work, check to see if your Hard drive has errors or bad sectors
GO START BUTTON /COMPUTER, right mouse click OS (C:) and choose "Properties"
Choose "Tools" tab and under error checking, click "Check Now".
Make sure "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" is checked and click start.
Restart windows will perform the above task to fix errors  This may take hours depends on how big is your Hard Drive
    Good Luck!!.

  • Must reset ipod touch each time install apps

Got an iPod Touch (5.0.1) for Christmas. Using iTunes 10.5.1.42 on Win 7 box. I must restore the iPod each time I want to install more apps. It has over 4 GB of memory left. The Sync Apps area is all greyed out and nothing moves unless I restore it each time. This can take almost an hour. Its ridiculous. (Don't know if it's related but iTunes freezes almost every time it launches.) Anybody know how to fix this?

Ok. I found the problem. I needed to go into Settings > General > Restrictions, then turn on Installing Apps. Somehow that was turned off.

  • Safari signs me out of a web page each time I open a new tab within a web page I am already signed in to

How can I stop Safari from signing me out of a web page each time I open a new tab within a web page I am already signed in to?
This is very annoying, how can I stop this??

    Extensions.
    1. Empty Caches
        Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
    2. Delete Cookies
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
        Click “Remove All Website Data”.

Did you install it in the administrator account with anti-virus disabled?

  • Sign-in doesn't work properly; need to sign in all the time between windows although signed in for 2 weeks.

popup appears out of nowhere reading "We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page" Leads you to sign in again.
This is not a problem with the old Flock, Chrome, or IE, just Firefox.
It appears that anytime one leaves mail or personal home page and goes to a website, a sign-in is required to get back to mail or personal homepage.
I have run out of ideas using tools-options, etc. setups.
I am addressing Firefox 4.0.1, and Windows XP
    Clarence

Cleared everything, several time over several days, no change.
Still have not diagnosed the problem and I have made a lot of changes, including re-loading M.FireFox 4.0.1 with ATT Yahoo vers. 1.8
It sometimes appears that the sign-in times out, although I tried signing in for 2 weeks and also 1 day. ATT Yahoo has a sign-in seal one can setup and use. It is fine and works only that one day or until one signs out, than it is history.

  • I want to delete a folder but every time i do, it reappears on my desktop, even after I empty/secure empty the trash.

I want to delete a folder but every time i do, it reappears on my desktop, even after I empty/secure empty the trash.

I contracted Security Tool the same way about ten minutes ago on my Win7 Home Premium laptop. Firefox prompted me to do an immediate update the way it normally does, with a convincing update screen that looks like the typical Mozilla update prompt. However, the installer I downloaded was in fact "Security Tool." The program firewalls Firefox to prevent searches and also prevents access to Task Manager via Ctrl-Alt-Del. On the surface this appears to be a particularly nasty strain of malware / scamware, and FF users need to be warned and/or innoculated immediately.

  • Must restart windows services each time I cycle power.

Each time I cycle the power on my wireless laptop computer, I must restart my wireless services following this procedure:
    Start->Run->"services.msc"
      Select:  "wireless zero configuration"
      Start or Restart service
      Close window
Right-Click on wireless icon in lower right corner:
      Select “View available wireless networks”
Click on “Change advanced settings” (in Related Tasks box at right)
Select “Wireless Networks” tab at top of window:
View “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”
If no check mark, click on box to right to mark it
Select “View wireless networks” (in Available networks:” box)
Select (my network) if not already connected
      When connected close window
It continues to work until I power off my computer.
How can I make it start automatically?
    Thank you for your assistance.

I have now been able to get the "Wireless Zero Configuration" started automatically but I must still open the wireless "properties" window and check the "Use windows to configure..." box to get a list of wireless connections.  My wireless network will then connect automatically after that.  Still a hassle but much better.

  • Must I enter password each time I update an app

Must I enter my password each time I update an app

Yes.  That is how they know you are the one that bought the app in the first place.  Pretty basic security for you and them.  The good news is that once you enter it, it will remember for 15 min, so you can update others, or get new apps without needed to re input.

  • Must restart my computer each time I edit / merge an HDR photo in Photoshop CC...  Why is this?  Is there a fix?

In Lightroom 5 I highlight 3 to 5 photos, right click, click "merge to HDR in Photoshop".  Photoshop launches & merges the photos.  When I save it, it's imported to my library in Lightroom ready to be edited.  In order to repeat this process for a second photo (group of photos) I must restart my computer (every time!).  Also, once Photoshop has merged a group of photos, Photoshop will not open any file until the computer has been restarted.  This can't possibly be how this software is intended.  Is there a fix for this problem?

  • Addblock Pluse must be disabled/enabled each time firefox starts-won't start automatically

Each time I start firefox I have to disable/enable the addblock plus add on. In the extensions it indicates that it is enabled, but it is inoperative until I disable and then enable it again.

Still no help on making Add Block Plus start automatically when firefox is opened. In the add ons section it shows that it is enabled, but it is not working. By disabling and enabling the add on becomes operational.

  • Each time I connect my iPhone 4s in to iTunes as it keeps trying to set up the phone as a new one. How do I fix this?

Each time I connect my iPhone 4s to iTunes, it tries to set up my phone as a new one/restore from back up. I have it all set up already, but it keeps appearing. What do I need to do to stop this?

    Hello there, deelish.
A great Knowledge Base article that has some valid information is:
iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694
The pertinent section for you would be:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities!
