if i have an Apple account with monay in it and i want to creat a new account can i transfer the money from the old account to the new account ?
If the money contains a completely unspent balance from an iTunes gift card, the iTunes Store staff can put that money back onto the card.

I updated my iPhone software and now it is saying that I need to connect it to iTunes. I no longer have my computer with my iTunes on it. What can I do? I really don't want to lose my data! I wouldn't have updated if I had known but there was no warning.
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes): This issue is typically caused by out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software. Please followTroubleshooting security software issues if USB troubleshooting does not resolve this issue.
Error 13 and 14: These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
Error 50: This error (and error -50) are timeout errors. Follow the steps for errors 13 or 14 above.

my computer that my itunes was on crashed. i now have a new computer and i downloaded itunes and signed into my account. plugged up my phone but my stuff hasnt transferred. how do i transfer it?
You'll need to copy the music currently on your iPod to your new PC and into iTunes first before you can sync it to the new iPod.

Hello,
I have an iPod touch 4 generation. I have a problem that my PC is broken and I later forgot my password. How can I restore the system without a PC. Because I have receipts from the rest because I POD andYou need a computer with iTunes installed to regain use of your iPod. Unless you have the iPod backup file from the syncing computer all you can do is to restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod. You will also need to place the iPod in recovery mode is you restore the iPod on other than on its syncing computer. For reoverymode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

I got an Ipad for graduation; I have some Ebooks that are in my email and I want to upload them in my Ipad...how can I do that...I have a MacBook right now....Does anybody know...?
OK, so if they are PDFs they should show up in your iBooks app on your iPad. When you open iBooks, you will see a little button in the top center. It may say Books, Purchased Books, or PDFs. If it does not say PDFs, click on it, and it will go to a "Collections" screen with the options you can select.
Select PDFs and see if your PDFs show up.
If they do not, then hook the iPad back up to iTunes via USB and once it is hooked up, click on the iPad under Devices and make sure that the PDFs you want sync'd from iTunes are selected on the Books tab of the Device Profile screens to the right.
If they are not, then select them and sync.
Also, if they are still in your email, you can select them right in Mail on the iPad, and click on the PDF to open it. When you click on it to open it, it should ask you if you want to open it in iBooks. Say Yes, and it will automatically open and save it to your iBooks PDF collection.
Hope this helps!
Enjoy your new iPad!!!
Cheers,

I have changed to AT&T U-verse, which has a new modem and router combined. Safari 5.1.10 will not recognize the wifi signal, but Foxfire will. What settings do I need to change on Safari?
Hello SalsburgD
The first thing I would check is to make sure that the router is using the recommended settings to get online. Another troubleshooting step is to create a new Network Location and then join your network to see if that changes things.

I ran out of space on my time machine because I bought a new I MAC to replace the old one. So I copied the old one on the new one and in addition to that I own a macbook. So what should I do erase the old IMAC on my Time capsule ? Shall I reset it?
Go to the airport utility and erase the TC disk.. a quick erase is fine and takes less than 1min usually.
A one pass erase takes several hours depending on how big the hard disk is.. but is somewhat safer in that it tests the drive condition. I normally don't bother for a TM backup.
When you start over you should be able to fit both backups on the TC.. assuming the disk is 2x larger at least than the space used on both the MB and the iMac.
If not you can also add a USB drive to the TC, and use that for one of the computers.
The slowest one is best.. as USB is slow.. but fast enough for wireless you won't notice much. -
I was told that I can get a discount on a new ipod if i trade the old one in upon sale? true or false?
You will only get a 10% discount. See:

I have purchased Final Cut Pro for my imac and now want to put it onto my macbook air so I can use it when away from my desk. How can I do this
I took away my backup disk with me so just took it from there excellent. I am back home at present working on my imac. When I go to use my macbook air on these projects (when away on boat) is it easiest to simply copy the Project and Events folders in total from my imac onto the other machine and do the same upon my return in reverse? I don't use icloud

Hi
I have purchased albums that I removed from my iPhone but are still on my desktop and now wish to return them to my iPhone how do I do this I've tried most things Reset Synch ect
ThanksIf you use automatic syncing to load your iPod, songs that are on the iPod need to be in your iTunes library. If you use the manual method to load your iPod (by dragging songs to it in iTunes), the iTunes library is not directly related to what is on the iPod, so you can delete a song from the iTunes library, and it will stay on your iPod.
That error message is a separate issue. It means that since the song was added to your iTunes library, its song file (in the iTunes Media folder) has been moved or deleted. So although the song is still listed in the iTunes library, iTunes no longer knows where its file is located. If you don't want the song in your iTunes library, you can delete it from the iTunes list.
