Muse CC does not need serial number for installation. You might be getting that prompt due to some network element blocking communication with Adobe servers.
Please try the following:-
1)If you are on a MAC:-
Press Shift + Command + G(Else Finder, Go-->Go to folder) to open Go to folder.
Type /etc and open the file called hosts.
Check if you have any Adobe related entry in the file.
If yes, please rename the file and check again.
2)If you are on windows machine:-
Go to the location:- C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Open 'hosts' file.
Check if you have any Adobe related entry in the file.
If yes, please rename the file and check again.

The apps you have purchased for your mobile device will not work on a computer. You will need to download the appropriate versions on your Mac from the Mac apps store.

Mac app store software does not contain serial numbers since they are linked to your AppleID.

When when you run the LR5 installer it will see you have the Mac app store version and it will get a serial number from Adobe to use for LR5.

I got Photoshop Elements 11 when i got my wacom tablet this summer. I recently got a better computer so i want Elements 11 on it too. The problem is that I cannot find the serial number anywhere to be able to use it on my new computer. Since I got Elements through Wacom, it does not show up as a product on my Adobe profile. Does anyone know what I can do to get it back?

Once you get your S/N and download the software, back them up to a CD or backup HD. Not doing that is like purchasing a CD, installing software, and tossing the CD in the trash.

In addition the US Supreme Court has ruled that making a copy of a DVD for personal use or as a backup is perfectly legal, we've been doing that with CDs for as long as it has been possible, same for video tapes.
What is illegal is breaking any DRM protection on the media (this holds true for all media not just DVDs) and actually even this is a bit murky. What is definitely illegal is to sell software to break DRM. However if you write your own DRM breaking software and use it to make personal copies or backups the law gets real gray.
So again as long as there is no DRM involved its OK, with DRM you're best to leave it alone.

You must first make the purchase, then you will receive the serial number you are asking about. YOu do not acquire the serial number thru the software. You acquire it thru the purchase, possibly via a follow-up confirmation email.
