I purchased exportpdf last night. Was not able to use, so purchsed again (thought it didn't go through as I received an error). Now I used it once now and can no longer use.  Would like issue resolved  and double charge refunded. Have been unable to get through to help all day.

    I just purchased GarageBand 10.0.3 last week and I repeatedly keep getting the following message when I try to download ANY of the FREE Piano lessons in the "Lesson Store", "Garageband was not able to install the new sounds. Close and re-open Garageband to download and install them again."  I have tried EVERY suggestion that I have come across on the internet and nothing is working!  If I'd known I would encounter this issue, I would not have paid for this.  Tried restarting, rebooting, reinstalling, deleting the cache, and on the verge of just reinstalling the OS.  I have come across people have the same issue for months and I can't believe Apple has not offered a fix or update or anything. 

    Immargarita,  Since you just purchased the software you qualify for a no charge one on one at an Apple store.  They never could tell me what was wrong, but after three visits and not one dime, all lessons downloaded at the store.  I was not going home until it worked.
    Hint, hint, I had just upgraded OX when the problem started.   So... I qualified for tech support.  I forgot to get my none working since the up grade Photoshop fixed.  Some Java component can't be found and just like GB, the link to Apple for support does not work.  I have the good old PS disc.  I'm not happy with this cloud stuff.
    When you call and give the SN for your computer, they may say it will cost $29.00 dollars for one time support.  Instead choose a different prompt, tell the human being what your problem is and set up a visit to the Apple store.   BTW, no one at the store seemed to have heard of this issue.
    The techie just started the download and ran the activity monitor.  The download stopped once.  Then he continued it and everything is there now.
    Shame on you Apple.

    You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
    You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen after you tap the store button in the top corner of the iBook app on your iOS device.
    If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

    To the OP
    I see you said You paid for shipping, did you Insure it? Claim insurance on it. If you did not, It may not be Verizon or your fault in the sense of the phone not making it to the warehouse. There are people out in the postal world that will steal phones that are not insured. It could have been a Verizon employee, i suppose.
    But, if this was to be a bought in court, if you shipped it with out insurance, sadly your at fault.
    Do you still have the Serial number of your old phone? If so, you should be able to track where your phone is (if it is reported as a defect/damaged) If so, you may be able to use that as proof. If it does not show up as a defect or what ever they determine use as a loss, then you know it did not make it to the warehouse to be checked in. I would suspect Apple or Verizon could tell you what the Serial number came up as.

    They made it sound like it was my problem they would help me figure out. They already had my Apple ID so I don't know why they couldn't find the info. My luck they sent the email at 7:30 last night. The person working on my case only works Sunday - Thursday 4:30 - 11:30 pm so it will be tonight before they get my response. Nobody else can work on the problem? Come on Apple!
    I mentioned this thread so they may or may not look here also.
    Still very unimpressed with Apple TV process quality and the huge customer support hole. It's like they're completely unprepared for mistakes. Everybody and every company makes mistakes.

How do I connect all the existing txt,PPT,XLS doccument to the new upgraded Document-2 application and then to edit it on my iPad.

    As suggested I had deleted the free application and did a hard restart the iPad. I have again copied the document using iTunes. But I am not able to edit any document using this app. Document 2 (paid version) supports editing features of the txt/ xls /ppt files. Is there any problem while loading the Document 2 app. If I reload then do I need to purchase again?

    I have a OSX IMAC Version 10.8.5.  I got pages at the same time I purchased this computer.  I use a document to write all my passwords. Seems like when I E-mail myself the document from pages, I have not been able to type in the document, it acts like it is locked. I checked all the "lock" and "unlock" fields, and none of them were locked.  I notice the document says PDF.  How do I correct this?  Seems like I've tried everything.  If you can help, that would be great!

  • Help needed: "Logic was not able to complete the download"

    I purchased Logic Pro 9 today from App store. Downloaded and installed the software. After installation & startup Logic started to download 2GB of additional content. This download was interrupted by the message "logic was not able to complete the download". I trashed Logic, redownloaded and reinstalled it several times from App store, always gives same message after startup. Doesn't even start to download basic content again, just gives the message. After hitting "ok" Logic just quits. This is extremely frustrating and I have no idea what to do about this.
    I would very much appreciate any advice about how to solve this problem!

    I start with the same problem but it ends differently.
    I purchased Logic Pro 9 today from App store. Downloaded and installed the software. After installation & startup Logic started to download
    the basic content. Upon startup the program already seemed weird, but it started and finished the basic content.
    By weird I mean all I get on my screen is the Logic menu bar and the text is yellow instead of black. To top it all up, the text from the menus is missing and all I get is empty boxes.
    I have deleted it and reinstalled from the app store to ensure a new clean installation but still the problem persists.
    I have checked all your above points as well and none seem to work would be grateful for any help.

    Can someone please help me in solving the below issue?
    I'm using Event alert for submitting a concurrent program based on insertion/updations on po_requisition_headers_all table. This alert is not working when I am creating a Purchase Requisition manually in Requisitions screen, it is not invoking the concurrent program. Check event alert is failing with the error 'APP-ALR-04050 Alert was not able to submit concurrent program'.
    But when I am creating a PR using an interface then the alert is working fine and submitting program.
    oracle version is R12.
    Alert SQL query:

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).

    Here's a screenshot showing the particular links on the page that you should be clicking:
    After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
    Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
    When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
    (2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
