I recently restored my iPhone 5, setting up as new, due to software issues.  I wasn't able to use my old Apple i.d. and had to set up a new one, so now I have 3 of those.  If I need to repeat this process, how do I sign in with a current i.d.?

Apple checked out my iPhone 5 and told me the Springboard app was corrupt, affecting battery life.  They advised me to wipe the phone and set it up as new so new software would be installed.  I did this, but couldn't sign in with my Apple i.d.  I had to create a new one.  This "fix" didn't improve battery life, and Apple replaced the phone.  I set the new phone up using "restore from backup" and the battery life is terrible.  I'd like to wipe it and install the software from scratch but don't want to have to have another new Apple i.d.  How can I do this?

Restore from the backup!
You password: You have set it! It might be your passcode or you mioght have set it accidentally, so test all of the passwords you normally use. If you cannot get the password you backup is lost, but you can still sync your iTunes content.
