Since I must create a folder to send questionable emails I may read or refer to later, how do I change the action of the delete key so it'll be just as easy?

After recognizing and following the suggestions I skimmed in the Q&A, my trash is still being emptied against my wishes. Everything looked familiar involving settings, etc. I think and hope and will re-check that I've all the correct settings applied. I would like to verify; Do I have to really create a folder to send my email to instead of trash/delete if I want to view it later? If so that sucks, but I'll obviously work around it. My frustration with this matter over the years caused me to stop reading and here I am, agitated. I can probably figure out how to create a folder and MAYBE even figure out how to make it somewhat easier than it sounds to move the emails there. My biggest obstacle is learning how to program the delete key on my keyboard to send them there, because it's simply common sense to everyday users not to mention a terrible habit occurred over the many years of practicing to strike the delete key when a "I'll get to it later" email is highlighted AND without any worry knowing you can always find it in the trash because you know the last time the trash was emptied/permenantly deleted. Can you somehow make this a little more user friendly. It sucks to not be able to trust having an email when you go back to look for it. Can you imagine having to pay attention anything for longer than 5-7 seconds when you're trying to find that one email amongst possibly thousands in one of my in boxes because you're scared to death to delete anything that may be of value one day in the future, or not. Pretty please tell me I'm on the wrong track here and there's a simple solution and how to find it. And

IMHO, the mistake is to put anything in Trash if you think you'll ever want to look at it again. Do you ever "file" actual paper documents in the real Trash bin, down there on the floor?
However...
Your Trash folder may be on the email provider's server and subject to their housekeeping regime. Have a look at your account settings; if the account uses IMAP then you might try setting it to use a local Trash folder, for instance in your Local Folders account. That should put emptying of Trash under your control and safe from the whims of any third parties. But in my book, using Trash for persistent storage is perverse. Or as you might put it, it sucks.
I'd set up a Pending folder, and use QuickFolderMove, or use star and a filter, or a tag and a filter to park indeterminate messages in it.
The delete key is for deleting things, and nothing else.

Bcc: means BLIND Carbon Copy. These Addressees will receive a copy of the email, but other recipients will not see their names.
Try sending the email to your own Address to see exactly what it will look like.
If it is not satisfactory, you may have to BBC to a LIST.

For IMAP mail like Gmail, you can use the Edit button to create new folder. It doesn't work for POP mail.

Since you're in the Mountain Lion forum, it is indeed simple to create a "Saved" folder on your Mac and save emails into it. You should create the "Saved" folder using Finder.
The fact that you just got an iPad mini is completely irrelevant to the discussion as it stands.

So I need to have a workflow in sharepoint designer 2010 that sends an email out every friday, so far all the ones I have seen send it out 7 days from when the item was created, but not every (certain day of the week)

Send a email notifcation on payment of a invoice...???

Need guidance on this requirement where we have to send a email notifcation to the user when an invoice gets paid. So as soon as a payment document gets created in FI we have to send this email.
I was trying to find a user exit or a BADI that can do this but was not able to find one...
Any suggestions...???

For check payment (RFFOUS_C), you can use Business Transaction event '2060' (FIBF). For ACH payment (RFFOUS_T), you can use function exit EXIT_RFFOEXIT_100. In both cases, you will get payment tables (REGUH & REGUP) data which can be made use for creating Emails.

Creating short movies to send via email to my mom

I was wondering. I use an iSight and Quicktime Pro 7.0.4. My mom lives over 1200 miles away and she does not have a web cam. I like to make short movies just to say hi or show her things in my life that she can not see as she is so far away.
What is the best method to use to record these little messages that I send through Apple Mail to her AOL 9 on her Windows ME machine that she shares a 1 meg wireless connection with her grandson,
I tried making a small movie around a minute and it was almost 4 meg in size. I don't remember what I used as a format to record it.
I would just like any suggestions for the best format that compresses the file the best it does not matter if it is makes it a windows video media file as I don't need to view it she does.

I would get QT 7, as mentioned above. If she's got a broadband net, why doesn't her grandson install QT 7 on her machine? Then you could easily encode into .mov with the latest h.264 and incredibble quality. 1 minute E-mail size movie export will fit under 1 meg for sure. I'd say 600 kb, depending on footage.
If e-mail is inconvenient or too big, why don't you stick it on the web and send her a link to the movie? Depends on you ISP, of course. I do the same and I do not worry about the size, the only limiting factor is their time to download it, which I don't care about. They can go and have a cup of coffee, right?
