I was informed that my data plan was eligible for a free upgrade from 250mb to 750mb and told the rep to do so. but it was never done. I am being charged for overage. What do I do?

I called in to do a temp upgrade on my data and was told by the rep that my account was eligible for a free upgrade. I said okay, but it never happened and now I am being charged for an overage. When I check my plan specifics I see that my data is set to the old amount, I will not pay what I don't owe. Now I am having trouble contacting anyone to help resolve this issue.

This is a stumper! As MrHelper stated, we do not have a 750MB plan so I'm curious as to what that offer was. How much data did you end up using for the month and how much were you charged in overages?

    I noticed the same problem after upgrading a few iPhones to IOS 8, all use the same Apple ID.  However, I now notice when I go into Message and instead of selecting a person from my contact list, I start typing their name which brings up a list of people, some of which are not in my contact list and are on one of the other iPhones. There's a circle/exclamation point next to the name which I click on, and one of the options is to "Remove from Recent". How did these names get from one phone to another and how do I remove all "recents"? They do not appear in my contact list. Anyone see this?

    Hi, just after i bought my laptop all them years back when tiger 10.4.11 was the operating system mac decided to release a new one just a week after my purchase, so the bitterness in me refused to pay for an upgrade. Years have gone by and hardly anything is compatible with my mac anymore...
    A friend said it could be up £300 for me to upgrade because I have missed so many operating systems... Please tell me there is a cheaper way?!?

    Replace the RAM you now have with two 2 GB modules.  You can find the proper RAM at OWC or DataMem. OWC even has installation tutorials and any special tools that may be needed.

    No. It would have been done for security reasons. You notified them that money was being unknowingly taken from your account, so they froze it.
    Change your Apple ID here
    And also check for unusual activity on your credit card with your bank. Change all your security password while you are at it.

    Photoshop 4.0 is not compatible with MAC 10.9.3 . You will face issues as when Photoshop 4.0 was launched there was no MAC Mavericks and Adobe has not tested the version on new MAC OS.
    If you want you can download the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014 and you can use it as a trial for 30 days and you can plan to switch to the latest version.

    There are still several third party service centers out there who offer replacement services for the battery.  Google for "iPod battery replacement."
    Better yet, see if your 1G iPod Nano qualifes under Apple's 1G Nano recall regarding a batch of nanos shipped with bad batteries.  See this article for more details.

    Make sure data roaming and cellular data is turned off.  If you don't want to receive calls or SMS then put your phone in airplane mode and reactivate WiFi

    One to One can be purchased with your computer if you buy directly from Apple. The cost for one year is $99 renewable twice. Genius Bar appointments are scheduled at no cost to you. Genius Bar appointments are not as lengthy as the personal training appointments. Genius Bar is usually for diagnosis of a hardware failure or software issue. GB is not usually a tutorial session.

    iLife installation went fine, and I can see some useful changes in my iPhoto software. There is a small mystery however: despite the visible changes, the software still describes itself as v.8.1.2. Since I see no problem I am not going to go chasing one, but then I think you may see something I don't. Am I OK or is there something else I need to do?

  • Why am I being charged for data when connected to wifi AND not using my phone?!

    WHY am I being charged for data that I'm not using? At times when I'm asleep AND my phone is connected to wifi?!  This happens at really specific, alternating times like 9:54 pm every day, or 12:01 am, 6:01 am and then 12:01pm and 6:01pm. When I called I was told  "maybe your wifi at home is disconnecting" or "maybe your phone is connecting to atnt or sprint". It's not possible that my phone is disconnecting from wifi every six hours on the dot and, at that exact time, I'm always using data. I find it hard to believe that I live in a HUGE city and my phone magically connects to other networks and I NEVER notice this. Verizon is full of LIARS (and maybe’s) and I'm not convinced that these data charges are a coincidence. I was told to turn off my cellular data to see if the problem resolves itself. Why should I alter my daily life when Verizon is clearly the one with the issue? I hope there's a class action lawsuit because Verizon is trying to get over on everyone! I need answers!
