I was syncing iPad 2 with my macbook and had no problems. Now it will NOT sync my iCal on my mac with my iPad. It only syncs with my gmail cal. I don't know why the change happened. Need to keep both calendars synced onto my iPad 2 .

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I'm new with flash and don't know why the timers don't work like i would expect. In VB.NET timers are how you move stuff, but it doesn't look like they are ideal for moving stuff in flash at all (really slow). I'm making a game in which you throw a ball around the screen. i am using a timer to get the ball to move. this doesn't work well for 2 reasons; 1: the ball jumps alot, and 2: the timer should eventually run out of time. If anyone can help, i'd be thrilled cus this is my first post here, so yeah
Timing for movement would be more often dealt with using something that operates at the frame rate of the file. The ENTER_FRAME event is usually selected for this purpose.

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:

Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

Downloaded yosemite OSX 10.10 and now iPhoto will not open. When I try to update to iPhoto 9.6, it tells me it can not be be downloaded with "this Apple ID. It is the only Apple ID I have ever had. Please help
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -
Blue screen, adequate disk check... don't know why it's happening or what to do?
I bought this laptop recently (Feb/March) so I wasn't expecting to have any problems like this for a while (my old laptop didn't start having problems until I had had it for 4 years). But when I started my laptop today (from hibernation) the blue screen came up saying to check for adequate desk space and whatnot. What can I do to fix this? I can't have my hard drive failing on me again (which was what happened with the old laptop). I'd really appreciate some help, I don't know what to do!
My laptop is Satellite P755-5182, Windows 7.. I don't know what other information you might need but let me know!

Go to Solution.If the 'Flash Cards' don't appear at the top of the screen when you hit the 'Fn' key, then click the 'Start' button and type the word flash in the search field. In the programs that appear at the top, you should see 'Restart Flash Cards' and 'Settings for Flash Cards'. First, click on 'Restart Flash Cards', then again click on 'Start' and type in the word flash in the search field. This time click on 'Settings for Flash Cards', and make sure there is NOT a check mark on 'Disable all function keys', click 'Apply' and 'OK'. Then try the 'Fn+Fx' keys again.
If this doesn't work download these 2 files and double click to install them in this order, reboot after loading each file. Try your Flash Cards Fn key again. If necessary repeat the above paragraph.

It is seen only on iTunes in tab 'on this iPad' but playlists are shaded, grey. When i unplug device, there is nothing on music. Also no 'Other' data or sth like this. I'm checking playlists, they're adding themselves to the bar on the bottom( where You can see how much space is left. But when i try to sync- voilá. Audio disappear And no playlists on iPad. An owner has a variety of means to assist someone who finds his lost iPad, and is motivated to return it. Writing a phone number on the back, for example, preferably prior to losing it.
From what you describe, your motivation to return it greatly exceeds the owner's motivation for having it returned.
You can avoid this sort of trouble by not taking other people's stuff. Having done that, now it's your problem. -
I have been buying and using Adobe Photoshop through numerous versions over the past several decades. and I used to recommend it whenever I had an opportunity. Now I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I could say a lot more than that, using words my parents taught me to not use.
Adobe now has their head in the clouds and doesn't care a whit about faithful customers.
I had CS3 on one machine, CS4 on another, and CS6 on another one. The hard drive on the machine with CS3 and had to be replaced. I am trying to install CS3 back on the same computer, but Adobe will not let me activate it, even though I am trying to put it on the computer it was originally on. I paid for it, I have gone by the rules, and Adobe will not even talk to me. And as far as I can determine, Adobe is so far out in the clouds that it has nothing but contempt for the people that kept them in business for decades!
What I would really like to do is move CS4 onto the machine that originally had CS3 on it, and put CS3 onto the machine that now has CS4, but I assume nobody at Adobe cases what I would like, even though I paid for the software and have no intention of trying to have it installed on more than one machine at a time.

I thought about trying to install CS6 on the old computer, but CS6 is on my wife’s computer, and we are often both using Photoshop at the same time. I will probably install it on her notebook computer – if they will let me.

Hi I have taken my daughters iphone and wiped it and resetted it but it will now not let me activate it via itunes and will not even go onto the home screen of the phone so i can go to settings etc and i do not know what to do to enable the phone to be activated

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked. -
Read the fixes. Cannot open Firefox in safe mode. Have tried reinstalling Firefox. Crash occurs each time I try to launch Firefox. Have run scans, checked for malware, spyware, installed all windows updates and still no luck.
Have accessed my crash reports. One of the reasons indicated is:

Wasn't trying to qualify firefox as malware - was terming it that way because the malware was crashing Firefox and no other issue. Worked on it and had isolated the virus in avast (put it in the chest) and was searching for assistance on why even after isolating the virus and restarting (some forums had indicated to then uninstall and reinstall Firefox, which I did), still would not launch without the crash report.
Worked the problem and eventually installed a 5.0 version of Firefox and it launches. Only seems to have the crash report with 6.0 or higher.
The forums had suggested that if after isolating the malware in avast or disinfecting it with MBAM (tried that too), to uninstall and then reinstall the latest version of firefox. That's when I tried the older versions. Had run a boot log scan as well and didn't see any additional problems. Just can't launch in 6.0 or higher. -
I rented a movie on Itunes and it downloaded but the movie will not play. When i go to videos to try to watch the video the page turns black
Quit the videos app completely.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try the videos app again.
If that doesn't work, reboot the iPad. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that fails, try this. Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of rhe movie in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.
But remember, once you start to play the rental, the timer starts.
