IC Email Help

We recently upgraded our CRM 7.0 system from SP5 to SP15.  Since the upgrade we have been seeing some odd theings when replying to e-mail from our IC.  The first odd thing is when replying to an e-mail from the IC the auto signature is showing up in the subject line of the e-mail.  The other odd thing is the auto signature prior to the upgrade had our company logo, and images/links for facebook, twitter, linkedin, and you tube.  Since the upgrade the form appears to have place holders for these things, but they are not in the e-mail responses being sent out of the IC.  Can anyone provide anyone assitance as to what might be causing these odd things in our system?

I solved this by copying the JavaScript
function addrSearchDialog(fieldId,searchStr,multiSelect)
from the include CRM_EMAIL_ADDRESS_INPUT into the .htm of the mail component, changing its name to addrSearchDialogZZZ and telling the 'To', 'CC' and 'BCC' buttons to execute addrSearchDialogZZZ onClientClick instead of addrSearchDialog.
In my function, addrSearchDialogZZZ, I simply told the select option for Exchange Addresses to be selected:
I changed the line
'<option value=\"OUTLOOKGALID\" id=\"OUTLOOKGALID\">'
to
'<option selected value=\"OUTLOOKGALID\" id=\"OUTLOOKGALID\">'

    What do you mean "when I try to change the email on my itunes"?
    Where on itunes are you changing an e-mail?  and for what reason?
    Not sure at all what you are trying to do an it seems that you are confusing e-mail, itunes accoutns and libraries.
    Please explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
    You have music on your computer?  You want that music on your iphone?

    Follow the instructions on the page that you posted from i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions), or you aren't receiving the reset email to your rescue email account, then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

    When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

    I had this problem. I checked all settings and they were correct. Purely by chance I changed the setting to recieve emails from manually to every fifteen minutes. This generated a request for my apple ID and I began to receive my emails again. Hope this helps.

    Apple mail out of office rule is sending auto replies to all emails not just newly received emails--HELP!  I set up the rule according to another apple support thread and instead of only sending the reply to new mail received, it was sent to all messages I believe that were in my INBOX, thankfully I only had a few but several people that hadn't sent me emails since I set up the rule, received the OUT OF OFFICE reply.  Please help.  Here is the procedure I followed for the out of office rule-

    I just used my email account which is a business account- not an ECU account but these rules according to the apple thread apply for all emails. Thank you

    You can set it easily...
    To access this feature in Apple's Mail app, right click on any sub-folder (like your exchange inbox on the left) and choose "Get Account Info." A window will pop up that looks like the one below. Make sure to select your Exchange account from the Account dropdown. Then click on the Out Of Office tab. If you have ever put in an Out of Office message in the past it will be displayed here. You can adjust and set your Out of Office from Apple Mail from within this tab.

  • I need to reset my security questions but when I send an email to the rescue email it doesn't get to me its the wrong email. help?

    iTunes wont let me download any music and I have over $20 on my account. It says I need to answer my security questions but I don't know the answers. When I try to send an email to the rescue email, it doesn't work. It says the email starts with an "h" but none of my emails start with an "h". I also don't know how to edit the email. Someone please help!

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Mail wont send emails - Help!

    Hello!
    Unable to send emails from my Mac (G5 OSX 10.5.8) using Mail.
    Dialogue box says "Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator."
    Email addresses are fine (in use for years) and smtp address is good too.
    Receiving incoming emails without problem.
    Connection Doctor shows all is good for my 3 PoP accounts.
    Problems started on returning from overseas trip. Abroad I use a Mac Pro which I upgraded to snow leopard. I also use MobileMe. The Mac Pro had issues sending mails too - using connections which had worked faultlessly for years. Had to restart it to send emails waiting in Outbox.
    Any fixes or help for me?

    Is the problem that Mail will not send ANY emails or that you cannot Reply to some emails.
    If the former, look at your SMTP settings (not just the SMTP address) to ensure that your port number and authentication type are correct for your current ISP. Being abroad might have reset these.
    If the latter, look at the "Send To address" which Mail has infrequently corrupted since Panther.
    Sometimes if you Reply to an email sent from: <[email protected]>, Mail creates the corrupted address: "[email protected]><[email protected]" <[email protected]> which will not send successfully.

    I've just updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 and now when I iMessage people it comes up with my email address and i went into messages in settings and my number is greyed out with my email address under it ticked, I've tried everything such as turning it off and back on, adding my number to my Apple ID etc. please someone help me!

    And now I can't even log into iMessage with my Apple ID!!

  • Time Machine / Email help?

    Good morning,
    I am hoping somebody is able to help as I am totally baffled by an issue I am having.
    I purchased a new Macbook Pro today so decided before I formatted my old one, I would make a time machine image so I could transfer the data straight across to my new machine. I thought this would be simple but I have stumbled across an issue.
    I plugged my external HDD into my new Macbook and opened time machine to transfer my files. It advised me it was not set up on the new machine, so I went ahead and set it up, this made a new image of my new Macbook onto my external device.
    When I open time machine it will only open it for this mac and there is no way to choose the time machine backup from my old mac which is extremely frustrating.
    Now, I know you can access files without using time machine by openening the HDD and browsing the files, or browse other time machine disks. I used this method to download all my files with no issues at all but what I really need is my mail folder from my old Macbook.
    I located the library folder but within there is no 'mail' folder. I used terminal to unhide files but this seemed to have no effect on the external HDD.
    If I plug the external HDD back in to the old mac it again tells me no time machine is set up on this product and wants to make a third image.
    Please help as these emails are vital!

    Today this happened again: lost all the emails on MobileMe account. This time I am sure there was no interference with checking mail from the office or any other computer other than iPod Touch.
    Switched on email. Opening an email it got stuck and after a minute everything in the mobilme inbox disappeared.
    I use the iPod Touch to check email so now and then. Up until now no surprises.
    Start to feel very uncomfortable that this can happen at random. Fortunately I back up on GTech external harddrive, but nevertheless. Any clue?
    (I have posted this message wrongfully under Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, it should have been Mac OS X v10.5.7 Leopard. Do not know how to move this to the right forum.)

    I am seriously considering buying the E90. It seems a good option as I need excel, powerpoint, good browser and email.
    I am not very techy, so my question may sound simple/stupid, but if anyone can help me with it I'd really appreciate it, as it is absolutely key to my decision:
    - I have a windows XP laptop, and my professional emails are on outlook. Will I be able to download my outlook inbox (emails) onto the E90? My purpose is to answer emails from the E90, while travelling, eg on the phone.

    I bought E90 without checking this, expecting it would be syncing emails since it is the new version of communicator. Was living fine with old 9500 , but small and GPS powered E90 was attractive.Although it is a small disappoinment , have a "better than nothing" solution.
    Add a small piece of code to your outlook in order to create a task for each arriving mail , including subject and body, and if you wish to "sync" sent mails do it for the sent mails as well.
    Then you have to just sync your tasks , and you will have all your mails there.
    You dont want to mess with your real tasks , create a new folder in outlook and do the same for this new folder, but you have to manually change folder info in PcSuite and sync twice.
    Since I am not using tasks, it  is working fine for me.
    As I said , it is better than nothing.

    I inadvertently clicked Rebuild Mailbox for the main INBOX of one of my POP accounts, and have lost over 8,000 important emails. I saw a few posts by others who had experienced this, but no answers that were helpful. Three attempts to restore this from Time Machine have failed, though restoration of the OTHER main POP Account's lost mail seems to have succeeded.
    Really? A simple command in a menu with no explanation or warning dialogue that you are going to lose major files?
    I have gone into the hidden user Library and find an entry for that Inbox, but nothing within the folder makes any sense to me at all. A complicated string of characters as a folder-name (and, no, there are no .noindex extensions anywhere) with subfolders just consisting of many folders designated by single integers.
    Please help.

    I'll try and explain what I did more clearly. Following advice elsewhere I created a duplicate account of one which already existed and which I had been using. I named the account differently but it was a second account of an email account I was already using. The reason I did this was to try to set it up so that I could request a read receipt on an email to one person and I read on another site that this was how to do it. Upon finding that this made no difference and without having written, send or received any emails using the new duplicate account I decided to delete it.
    Once I had deleted it I went to my email to find that the emails I had previously sent and received using the original account with the same email address had all disappeared.
    I checked using finder for them and I can't see them.
    I am new to using a mac so bare with me.

    I'm sure it has been answered somewhere in here, but I have a problme with my curve.  I receive messages on my phone just fine (instantly), but when I push "Delete from Mailbox and Handheld" the mail does not delete in my Yahoo.com account.  So after a few days, there are a zillion "unread messages" there even though I've read them and deleted them from my BB.  How do I sync these better?

    At your BIS login page from your carrier, edit your Yahoo email account setup and at the bottom of that page you will see a box to check:
