ICM CTI campaing Outbound option

Hello I need help, can anyone tell me what is the capability from ICM 7.5 when register to CUCM to support codec with port Cisco 30 VIP when using campaing outbund option?
Thanks.

Below snippet  from ICM 7.5 SRND that tells you what codec the dialer supports on its different legs, you can configure the device pool on the your VIP 30 phones accordingly.
The Unified Outbound Option Dialer should be co-located with the Unified CCE PG and the Unified CM
cluster (including the voice gateway). Because the Dialer supports only G.711 mu-law, you might have
to allocate large blocks of WAN bandwidth. Even though the Dialer does not support G.729, it is possible
to support G.729 for the customer-to-agent portion of the call. This type of configuration is supported
without requiring the use of transcoders.
In this deployment, the Dialer advertises G.729 capability (although the Dialer does not truly support
G.729). This permits the reservation call from the Dialer to the agent to be completed. The call from the
Dialer to the customer must be G.711; however, the customer call is then transferred to the agent and the
call is renegotiated to G.729.
Hope this helps

    This sounds like the age old problem with keychain & Safari. I don't know of a way to solve it without using something like 1Password.
    The iOS app has it's own built in browser, so it has more control over what gets autofilled. Safari on OS X has an 1Password extension that handles account selection & autofill etc.
    Keychain is great in principle, but it quickly falls down when you need tight integration with many ID's & different use cases (work, home etc).
    I'd suggest you submit feedback to Apple about your thoughts. I did so years ago about this issue & this is how far we have come (back to the point where me.com synced passwords) :^)
    http://apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
    Other tools like lastpass or keypassx may also help if you want to truly segregate password storage, but that doesn't fix autofill, the way around that issue is to dedicate one browser for work.

  • UCCX Outbound Option - What needs to be configured besides UCCX Outbound config

    I'm trying to setup Outbound Option for UCCX 10.0. Unfortunately my knowledge in VoiceGateways isn't really deep. What I'm wondering is:
    1) On progressive mode: Do I need to add some components (e.g. VGW) to CUCM first or is UCCX talking directly to the VGW?
    2) On direct preview mode: Even if I havn't configured CUCM (if needed) and VGW properly, an outbound call should be suggested to the agent anyway before dialing, is this correct (if UCCX Outbound Option is configured well of course)?
    Thanks for every response

  • 21 CallResult in DL Table for ICM Outbound option IVR Campaign

    Greetings!
     I have a problem in IVR Campaign. Every successful call (from my point of view) which it makes ended with 21 Result code, no matter whether the message was heard fully or just some part of it but longer than 5 seconds. And as a consequence, the campaign calls as long as it reaches maximum of retries. Even if I set the value of Abandoned call wait time to 0 the behavior doesn't change. Where can be the problem ?
    Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Hi Yuri,
    Can you please provide one failed call logs with the below traces.
    Dialer:
                Using registry editor set
                - EMSTraceMask= 1F (hex)
                - EMSUserData= FFFF (hex)
    Campaign Manager:
                Using registry editor set

    Note: please revert the trace levels once log collection completes

  • ICM 7.2 Outbound

    Hi. I need to know where I can see the maximun number of available port to establish Outbound calls?
    Regards

    Also keep in mind that the ports are not only used to make the outbound calls but are also used for the reservation calls to the agents (at least until 7.5(6) from memory or whichever version they introduced CTI based reservation calls).

  • UCCE Outbound Options: Maximum uploaded number?

    Hi, I want to know how many numbers I can upload on a table on BA database for a campaign for UCCE 7.2?
    I uploaded there 1 million numbers first but it was not dialing out, then now i'm uploading the numbers with smaller chunks like 20,000 first, 40,000 second and increase the numbers periodically to check the threshold. Can anyone advice me regarding this?
    Regards,
    Mijanur Rahman

    Mike,
    Are you certain that you're trying to increase the value of the correct field? When you go into your Import Rule > Definition tab > highlight the FirstName field name and click Modify... What you should see for Field length is 1-255. You can easily increase the number of character to over 10.

  • ICM 7.2 - Unable to parse datetime

    I'm trying to set up an import rule in ICM 7.2 but it keeps failing on a datetime
    field with an error message of 'Unable to parse datetime'.  I've
    tried various SQL Server datetime formats '2011-01-28' and '2011-01-28
    00:00:00'.  What format does the datetime field need to be in the CSV
    import file?

    I believe you are hitting the following defect. Please see the workaround below:
    CSCsg56088  Import Field Type of DateTime fails when imported
    Summary:
    Importing a csv file with the custom field type of DateTime fails with the following error: " Import data is too long for field and will be truncated" "Unable to parse datetime:0"
    Condition:
    ICM/UCCE with Outbound Option
    Import file with custom datetime field.
    Workaround:
    Customer can use Varchar data type and field length of 10 to use yyyy/mm/dd format.
    For compatibility with campaign query rules it may be necessary to use an SQL cast operator.
    Further Problem Description:
    Two formats are supported for datetime data types:  1)  MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS and 2) DD-MMM-YYYY HH:MM:SS where MMM are the first three letters of the month.  Both fail to import with the error "Import data is too long for field [DOB] and will be truncated" "Unable to parse datetime:0"

  • CTI agent with Dialer option

    Hi experts,
    Can someone help!!! How can I verify which of my agents is supported with Dialer option “outbound agent”. Currently I have more than 80 agents “ CTI-OS” for UCCE “ICM 7.5”
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Saeed,
    This goes back to agent-skill group association. If you look at the outbound option guide for "working with agents" section, you will see how the outbound options ties into the agent.

  • Outbound Dialer 7.0 problems

    Hi,
    We are trying to install Outbound option for IPCC Enterprise 7.0 and we are having some problems with it. Our setup is as follows
    Server 1 : Rogger 7.0 with SR4
    Server 2 : CCM PG, VRU PG, CTI Server, CTI OS with SR4
    Server 3 : AW/HDS SR4
    Server 4 - Dialer, MR PG Sr4
    CCM -5.0
    We have installed everything as specified in the installation document, but when we start the Dialer, we see the followig in the command window
    [lab1.Dialer.BADialer][CM-A][CTI-A][Ports C:4,R:0,B:0][MR-A]
    As you can see, the Dialer ports are not getting registered. We added these dialer ports in Call Manager as Standard 30 VIP phones and they also show up as registered in the Call Manager. We added these phones to PGUser as well.
    Yet we don't see these ports registered in the dialer window and so we are not able to get the Outbound working. Any clues as to what we are doing wrong here?
    We are getting the following error in the Dialer as well as the CTI Server
    Trace: (CLMGR) CTI Query Device Information Request, invoke: 4423, port: 003, instrument: [1004]
    Trace: (CPORT) SetState, port: 003, state: PORT_WAIT_FOR_QUERY_DEVICE
    Trace: (CLMGR_IP) Control failure event, port: 003, id: 1000004423, failure code: 13 [CF_INVALID_CSTA_CONNECTION_IDENTIFIER], peripheral error code: 10137 [C_??CAUSE??]
    1004 is one of the Dialer ports and when the Dialer communicated with the CTI for this port, the above mentioned error occurs.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Gokul

    Hi All,
    We finally figured out the problem. There were a couple of issues basically.
    1) When we added the dialer ports in config manager->dialer, I believe the device targets for these ports need to be added manually. This did not happen.
    2) So we went ahead and added the device targets manually. Still it did not work. We were suggested by TAC to add the following line in the configuration parameters in the Device target for each of these ports
    Configuration Parameters: /devtype monitorphone /dn 1004 /monitor Periph# i.e in our case one of the dialer ports was 1004 and our CCM PG id was 5000. So our config parameters looked like this
    /devtype monitorphone /dn 1004 /monitor 5000.
    Once we did this, the ports got registered and it worked like a charam :)

  • Outbound Dialer calls the client but don't call the agent

    Hi all,
    I have a strange problem with Outbound Option in UCCE 7.5(6).
    I have configured "PREVIEW_ONLY" in admin script. The behavior is below:
    - the campain starts;
    - I can see the call in "CTI Toolkit outbound desktop"(here I don;t see any call to agent's phone);
    - I am pressing "Accept";
    - The system calls the client;
    - The "client" answers the call;
    - I don't have any call to agent's phone.
    What could be the problem here?I verified the VIP's CSS. The dialer ports can dial in the agent's partition.
    Many thanks in advance,

  • How to adapt UCCX "BaseLineAdvQueuing.aef" script to ICM

    Hey Team,
    I am interested in using the UCCX "BaseLineAdvQueuing.aef" script as a template to replace my current callback app which relies on Cisco Outbound Option. However, I am having trouble replacing "Contact Service Queue" and Select resources with ICM agent queuing. I can pass Enterprise variables about queue times and placement, but how can I pass the call back to ICM for delivery to Skill Group agent. I'm guessing that I need to break the UCCX script into separate VRU scripts. After X number of minutes, matching wait time announced to the customer, placeCall to a DN/ICM script that has the Select and Queue to Agent Node. Please advise if there is a more efficient way.

    brian1mcc,
    The biggest drawback is the internal DNC in Outbound Option. If a customer requests to be placed on the DNC, we currently write it to a webapp database, then out to a DNC append file for baImport. Callback_Out campaigns would not be able to dial the number back if they, or someone with the same number, request a callback from a number on the internal DNC list.
    I realized today that our best option would be delete the internal DNC and not use it anymore. We will upload the webapp database to our DNC solutions provider and scrub outbound campaigns with it along with the National and Wireless DNC lists. We will also update any Dialing List records with "CallStatusZone=P" or "CallStatusZone=R" to "C" if they are in the webapp DNC database on a daily or weekly basis.
    For the future scripts involving UCCX to ICM, I think I'm just going to use the "placeCall" function to a DN which points to an ICM script for the skill group necessary.
    Thanks for the info and stirring up the creative juices,
