IDOC_AAE sender adapter XML : missing  encoding="UTF-8"?

Hi All,
We have a IDOC to JMS scenario using IDOC_AAE as sender channel.
Symptom
The IDOC whihc we have received from ECC should add XML version and encoding information to the created IDOC XML file.
Other Terms
IT SHOULD BE AS
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
But we are getting as  <?xml version="1.0" >
Can you please share your views on this ?
Regards.,
Siva

Shiva,
Add XML AnonymizerBean in target channel module to replace/Add UTF encoding.

  • Corrupt XML file encoding utf-8 special chars (IDOC - File scenario)

    Dear experts,
    I have a problem with the XML output files of XI and could not find the answer in one of the current posts.
    I'm sending Master Data from R/3 with IDOCs through XI to a FTP directory. These files include characters as Á, Ê, etc.
    The XI server includes the utf-8 encoding in the output XML message. However, when opening these files I receive errors (tried it in multiple programs). It tells me that Á is not utf-8.
    It will not accepts Á. I was under the impression that utf-8 included extended Latin and thus would accept these characters. Thus implying that the message was created wrong. Also importing these files into MDM import manager gives errors.
    All rfc destinations are on Unicode.
    By the way, we experience the same problem when syndicating files from the MDM server.
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers.

  • HTTP sender Adapter - XML parsing issue in SAP PI

    Dear All,
    We have a scenario where HTTP sends data to JDBC.
    We shared the URL with Sender application and they are trying to send the data to PI using URL.
    But when it comes to PI Integration Engine, we noticed the inbound payload in Plain text.
    Sender Application showed their logs and data they are sending is in XML format.
    Any pointers on this issue ? Do we need to do any settings from PI end?

  • File sender adapter: convert binary to xml

    Hello everyone,
    I am doing a File-to-RFC scenario, where I am reading a PDF-file and sending it via RFC for further processing.
    My problem is that I don't know how to create an XML-container for this PDF-file to transport it through XI.
    My target structure should look like this:
    <binaryData>
    <binaryRow>s&#65533;o&#65533;m&#65533;e&#65533;b&#65533;i&#65533;n&#65533;a&#65533;r&#65533;y&#65533;P&#65533;D&#65533;F&#65533;T&#65533;e&#65533;x&#65533;t&#65533;</binaryRow>
    </binaryData>
    I tried it with content conversion, but then I am always running into mapping problems. Do I need an adaper module or a java mapping for that? Any suggestions? What would be the easiest way?
    I am not a good Java expert...

  • ** JDBC Sender Adapter support custom module ...?

    Hi friends,
    Does JDBC Sender Adapter support custom module ? If it is how it wil work ?
    Kind Regards,
    Jeg P.

    Hi Kulwinder,
    We want to separte the records (1:n) returned by JDBC sender adapter XML. ie. Split/Parse the records in XML and then send to BPM (one by one) instead of whole message . For that purpose, we want to write an adapter module.
    Is this possible ?

  • "encoding = UTF-8" missing while writing XML file using file Adapter

    Hi,
    We are facing an unique problem writing xml file using file adapter. The file is coming without the encoding part in the header of xml. An excerpt of the file that is getting generated:
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <customerSet>
    <user>
    <externalID>51017</externalID>
    <userInfo>
    <employeeID>51017</employeeID>
    <employeeType>Contractor</employeeType>
    <userName/>
    <firstName>Gail</firstName>
    <lastName>Mikasa</lastName>
    <email>[email protected]</email>

    <workphone>
    <number/>
    </workphone>
    <mobilePhone>
    <number/>
    </customerSet>
    </user>
    So if you see the header the "encoding=UTF-8" is missing after "version-1.0".
    Do we need to configure any properties in File Adapter?? Or is it the standard way of rendering by the adapter.
    Please advice.
    Thanks in advance!!!

  • Client Java Proxy - ?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" tag missing

    Hi All,
    I have a Java Proxy to File scenario. I am getting the output in the SAP XI but when i check the XML payload <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> is missing from it. Rest of the document is coming fine.
    Any idea how to fix it up?
    Thanks and Regards,

    Re: ABAP Proxy -> XI - > File on a Website
    As I know, this is still on discussion, if the Java Proxy generation will be replaced by web service proxy generation.
    But existing Java Proxy applications definitivley  will run in PI 7.1 as well.

  • Problem with XML document created by JDBC Sender adapter

    We are using a sender JDBC adapter to publish data out of a DB2 table.  The message generated by the XI sender adapter seems to have 2 extra characters that break our mapper.  You can see the characters (the dashes on lines 2 and 4) in the XML document that I copied from message monitoring.  Once I remove these dashes and test the mapper in test mode, it works.  If I test with the dashes, the mapper fails. Has anybody else seen this issue?

    Hi Ivailo,
    I think the problem lies in the way you copy the data from monitor.
    whenever you want to copy data from XI monitor to test in your IB,make sure you select "view source" and then copy the source message otherwise you will get the browser view of the XML document which contain those "-" for expanding and collapsing the document.

  • Append messages with out header tag " ?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?

    Hi all,
    I am doing file to file scenario.When I use APPEND in the File adapter it is also adding <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    I need to send a file for every 10 minutes consolidate all files and send at the end of the day.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ID>31154</ID>
    The next time when i send the file with different< ID>31155</ID>
    it should append ignoring <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    The consolidated file must look like this...
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ID>31154</ID>
    < ID>31155</ID>
    Thanks ,
    Srinivas

    Hey
    as pointed out by everyone else,there is no straight way for this,one thing u can do is that create two separate scenarios.
    in first scenario use content conversion on receiver side and keep on appending the text for 10 mins (guess this is ur pooling interval),now since ur using FCC u wont get <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>,you will get a flat file on receiver side.
    after 10 mins u can have one more scenario which picks up this flat file and this time use FCC on sender side so that it will convert this flat file to XML,in this way you will get <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> only once.
    hope this solves ur problem.
    just make sure that you specify correct polling intervals for both the scenarios.
    thanx
    ahmad

  • Append with out duplicates ?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"? in receiv

    Hi,
    When I am Using append mode in file adapter,for each file that i send a seperate <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>  tag is getting generated in the target.
    eg:
    File 1
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e1</name>
    </DEPT>
    File 2
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e2</name>
    </DEPT>
    Result
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e1</name>
    </DEPT>
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e2</name>
    </DEPT>
    Here <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> tag is repeated.
    How to remove the same from 2nd time.so that my output file is displayed as follows
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e1</name>
    </DEPT>
    <DEPT>
    <name>e2</name>

  • Problem of encoding for mail sender adapter

    Hello, everyone.
    I have faced the problem of mail sender adapter.
    When someone send message with any content encoding (even UTF-8) and 8bit content type encoding the XI mail adapter corrupt special and foreign symbols. I checked the message for correct structure and encoding with tpcgw utility and it was fine. For example (this is what I can see in tcpgw)

    The same situation with using mail package in xml document.
    Any suggestions how this can be corrected?

    I switched UTF-8 encoding during displaying of http content in tcpgw utility and all other mail clients detect it as UTF-8 and work fine. Also this problem occurs with different mail clients that are senders of the message. So it seems adapter takes each byte of cyrillic symbol (each from two) and represents it as individual symbol.
    Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe there is some configuration somewhere allowing to correct or maybe it's possible to write module to correct.. but it's quite complicated to split correct and incorrect symbols.
