IDOC inbound: delivery confirm - set storage location at position

Hi all,
I have the issue to set with an inbound IDOC for shipping confirmation the storage location on item level. We are working with an external logistic provider so the final storage location where the goods are taken from is not not at creation time of the delivery. We have two possible storage locations.
EDI message type SDPICK cannot be used, there is no place for the storage location information LGORT.
So we tried SHPCON with process code DELV. FM: IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY
The field is in the IDOC type DELVRY03 but it is not used.
Do you have any idea how we could set the storage location on item level in the delivery with an incoming shipping / picking confirmation idoc?

used a userexit in the inbound function module to get the IDOC field to the internal tables.

Hi ,
We have a requirement where we have to send Inbound delivery confirmation as well as outbound delivery notification to our same customer. (3PL case)
We have a EDI partner who is receiving our messages and transforming them before sending it to customer.
Now my problem is , since I am using same idoc type (DELVRY03) for both cases therefore wondering how my EDI partner will differentiate whether received message is a INBOUND delivery confirmation or OUTBound delivery notification.

In this i could have two message types DESADV and ZDESADV.
Will it impact anywhere ?

IDoc Message Type to create Inbound Delivery + Confirm + GR

Hi Experts,
I need IDoc message type which can create Inbound Delivery / Confirm / Create GR with Inbound Delivery as reference and i dont want to use DELVRY05
because I need to create Inbound Delivery / PICK / Confirm but not with Transfer Order Creation means Unnecessarily we dont want to create Transfer Orders. We need to exclude Transfer Orders and create GR.
Please do the needful.

I am having exactly the same requirement. My requirement is that i need to split one Sale Order line into multiple line items in delivery based on the stock in a particular storage location at the time of delivery creation.
Eg.
Line item 10 in Sale order for quantity 100.
Storage location stock in the priority
ST01 = 40
ST02 = 25
ST03 = 2000
I wish to have 3 line items in delivery like
Line item           Storage Location             Qty
10                     ST01                                40
20                     ST02                                25
30                     ST03                                35
I was able to do the same in the BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC ~ SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
But i am facing problems regarding the inconsistency in delivery document such as Picking status update etc
Suggest if there is any better method to do.

SAP AFS - VL10B delivery from specified storage location

Dear all,
I have created STO for an AFS material.
As this material is available in various storage locations of the supplying plant.
Now I am trying to create delivery through VL10B, entered the Purchase Order, Plant and specific location in the material tab, but system is not generating any outbound delivery in the background.
again, in VL10B, if I have not specified any storage location in the material tab, system is generating the Outbound delivery for multiple storage locations with reference to batch split.
How come system is not picking the specified storage location in VL10B transaction.
Can I specify the issuing storage location while creating the STO, so that during VL10B, automatically the system will pickup the same storage location.

Dear Urendra,
If you creating a delivery for an AFS material, system picks the stocks based on the allocation rule defined in the system. Hence first efine the allocation rule in the system.
To achieve the functionality of issuing stock in case of a STO from a
particular storage location kindly maintain the below customizing.
1) Go to transaction J3AS -> arun detail -> define allocation logic ->
stock sorting
3) Here maintain a stock sort rule .
5) To this sort rule you can assign fields in this case it would be
LGONR with field values EW and QA
6)Once that is done, give the priority to the storage location in
accordance to your requirement.
7) Assign this sort rule to the main Arun type following the
path J3AS-> ARun type-> here select Arun type and then under allocation tab
go to the allocation rule maintained , out here there is the option
stock sorting.
Once this is done the storage location picked would be in the order
of the above mentioned priority.
Only if there is no stock in storage location of higher priority
will the stock be then picked from storage location of lower priority.

Auto-copy putaway quantity in Inbound for Non-WMS storage location

Dear All SAP Gurus,
I need to create an inbound delivery document for non-WM managed storage location and "copy" the quantity into the "putaway quantity" field automatically. Is there any setting to do this automatic assignment? As far as I know, if the storage location is non-WM managed, we usually need to manually enter the putaway quantity as part of the verification process during the PGR (goods receipt).

How to set storage location in iMovie 10?

iMovie refuses to import my video files and instead gives the following error message: "No storage location set: Cannot start ingest because there is not storage location set. Please set one under Storage in Preferences and try again." However, when I select iMovie Preferences, there are only two possible commands (Clip: Apply slow-motion automatically) and (Theater: Automatically upload content to iCloud [grayed out]) neither of which appear particularly helpful in this context. In any case, when I import single clips these are "automatically" stored in updated projects, so why will this not work more generally? Many thanks

I've been able to store the contents of my camcorder on the Mac's HD. I've tried importing the clips from there and get the same result, whether I try to import one or several clips at once, it replies with the same error message as to the missing storage location/instructions. Interestingly, it will nonetheless import the first (or only) one of the clips that I highlight on the import screen.
When you suggest dragging the files, from where do you mean? The clips per se don't appear in the finder, but only on the import page. The finder show only various fragmented files that aren't complete clips (eg. separate video and index, even sound files), which is too much of a pain to deal with...
It's true that my original iMovie library was created from an upgrade, but I have since deleted the contents and attempted to reload the clips. Are you suggesting deleting the library completely and starting again, or should I just try creating another event and using that? Don't see why that shoudl work better than "updated projects", but perhaps it's worth a try...

How to set storage location in Nokia lumia 820 for...

Hi,
I would like to know if and how to define the storage location in my Nokia lumia 820.
I have recently purchased a micro SD card by Kingston and would like to download and install apps, like games who require more storage then my Nokia 820 supports(8GB).
I saw that the only available option set is to choose the the storage for music + videos and pictures from settings/phone storage but no option set could be found for the apps or others.
Please help me with some guidelines or with a proper workaround as I tried unsuccessfully to find the understanding for this in various resources.

You can't install applications, Games on the SD Card. Only other thing that you may save on the SD Card is the Maps ..but you need THIS application. Need to log-in using the same credentials that you use on this forum to download it ...

IDOC Orders05, conditions and storage location per position

Hello,
i have a question regarding WE19 and Orders05 IDOC. I tried to overwrite a pricing condition in the Segment E1EDP05. When i start the Idoc in WE19, i see the new condition placed in the order. Everything seems allright except the price of the material. It is always 0,00 - I put different values in the Idoc- always the same.
Another strange thing is the storage location (Field: LGOR). I also put the storage location into the Segment E1EDP01 in each position. When i debug the Idoc via WE19, the storage location is not filled in.

IDoc - Inbound delivery

Hi Experts,
Inbound EDI message order acknowledgments:
When we cancel a purchase order item with IDoc message 'ORDRSP', this leads to an error message in the IDoc inbound processing.
There is note 890812, but i guess it is till release 5.0
Can anybody please guide me for the solution.

When we tested for the note, it is giving the status that this cannot be implemented.
Could any one give me the alternate solution for the IDoc inbound processing.
When the vendor sends the quantity 0 against any of the line items, the other line items are also not posted. There error message is ME794.
As per the above note implementing the corrections & when the item is deleted in PO, again processing the idoc would be successful. But the note is not valid for ECC 6.0
Please guide.

Outbound delivery not taking storage location

Hello,
I am facing below mentioned issues while update OBD in VL02N.
Material 858 is not defined for sales from India (warning)
Material 858 does not exist in plant IP01 (error)
I have checked all the plan assignments and it is correct in MM03. Still the error keeps on coming. Can someone help in it?
(I have already looked at old solutions provided but it didn't help).

2. Or r u updating any fields in OBD

IDOC for Delivery Confirmation

Hi All,
I need to check for some Idocs.
I need to find out if an IDoc was recieved which had the confirmation data for a delivery made.
I have a delivery made to the customer and they have sent the IDoc for confirmation of th same. How can i find out which Idoc No was sent for the same. I tried to search using WE02 and the partner Number but couln't find.
let me know if any one has any thoughts on this.

Use Tcode WE09, Enter the date and time of the delivery sent(approx). Check the delivery number manually in each idoc, then u will get the idoc number.

ME006 error during Inbound Delivery Confirmation VL06I

Hi, to all..
We are trying of post multiple goods reciepts (same PO) for Inbound Deliveries with trx VL06I
When we push the botton, we get next error:
ME006 User && is already using PO &&
In some cases just the first InbDel is confirmated, other times, 2 or 3 ID are confirmated buy they are NO consecutives .
We think software in Support Package 17 has some bug, but we had not been able of find any SAP Note to correct this problem (think about ENQUEUE_EMEKKOE/DEQUEUE_EMEKKOE functions)
We have checked also trx SM12 and NO blocking appears ther...
I'll appreciate any help in this issue.

I manage to check the message ME006 in IDES and it is standard SAP message.
I have one question, why is user who is doing the goods reciept for the inbound deliveries associated with single purchase order opening the same purchase order in change mode at the time of goods reciept
This message ME006 only appears if your user has opened the purcahse order in chnage mode, during the goods reciept process with VL06I.
This is also true when user XYZ has opened the purchase order in chnage mode (ME22N) and user ABC is doing the goods reciept for the same purchase order.
I suggest that you do not open the purchase order in change during goods reciept.

We are getting inbound IDOC GSVERF02 (Message Type: DELCON) to post DeliveryConfirmations.
I need to add update 2 fields to this IDOC before posting DeliveryConfirmations. Can any one tell which user exit should I use???

I am sorry, but I don't have access to a ECC5 version system. Also, looks like your is a industry specific(Automotive industry) solution(based on the link you posted).
But here is what I can guess. In the versions I know of, SAP almost always has user exits in these processing function modules. Look at the code of this function module IDOC_INPUT_DELCON and somewhere within there, may be a user exit that you can use.
