If i have charges on my account that i did not purchase. How do i dispute them with I Tunes?
Hello
If you believe that you have been hacked, then change your password and alert your credit card company (discuss reimbursement with them).

If you haven't made those purchases and nobody else has access to your account or devices and they aren't temporary store holding charges, then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I have had an iTunes account for 3 years. I have tried for at least two years to delete these purchases that I did not purchase off my iTunes downloads. I have tried everything. I took iTunes off my computer, redownloaded . I have tried deleting and removing them. I do not know how they got there but everytime I go to download anything these 8 purchases start to download. I then have to pause them all and back to the agganizing termoil of trying to delete them off my account. Can you please please help meI am beyond aggrevated because nothing I do deletes these things off, and I have tried for two years with no results but more aggrivation.
I would contact Apple Support either on the phone or via e-mail and have them check if they could remove these questionable purchases off your account.
There is currently no way to do this on your own.
And re-installing iTunes does not help as all the purchase info is stored on Apple's servers. -
I have noticed that some emails were sent to me saying Receipts of purchases, and my iTunes account balance was depleted. How can I reverse these charges and hand my account readjusted. I immediately changed the password, so I just need to undo the damage.

I've found that certain apps that I desire require a certain iOS level, so to speak. However, I have been hesitant to sync my itouch (3rd generation) to itunes to upgrade, mainly because it warns me that my media will be removed. Most of the music on my device has come from CDs which I have downloaded onto my itouch and not from itunes, so the music is not on my itunes itself. Since I do not fully comprehend what "syncing" my itouch to my computer will do, I would like to be certain that if I do sync my device all media will be removed. If this is the case, then I must persue ways to back that music up before I proceed with the syncing. If you could let me know as much information about this as possible, I would be truly grateful. Thank you.
You will probably lose the music.
Why is it not on your computer?
Have you failed to maintain a backup copy? -
I have been receiving billings / charges from itunes that i did not purchased.
i received several billings / charges to my account that i did not purchased from itunes. how can i make a formal report / complaint to itunes store?
The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges. Your card company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

I have been charged for music/downloads that I did not buy. Help?
I noticed that my account was charged for several downloads that I did not purchase. How can I straighten this out so I can purchase downloads. Has someone hacked onto my account? Should I cancel my credit card? Yikes!!
G4 Mac OS X (10.4.8)
G4 Mac OS X (10.4.8)Contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. They should then issue a credit to your account.
And you might want to change your password to your iTMS account, just in case someone has indeed gotten access to your account. -

How do I delete music from the cloud that I did not purchase
I have several songs on my iTunes library that I did not purchase. how do I delete these? There are some songs that are objectionable. Thanks
Hi there fredfromclearwater,
You can accomplish this by hiding your purchases in the iTunes Store. The article below has more information.

If the song was uploaded via iTunes Match, this next article outlines how to remove it.

I had some charges that showed up on my itunes account that we did not authorize. I disputed the charges and now my Apple ID has been deactivated. How can I reset it?

Since you disputed the charges with your credit card company, the CC company reversed the charges and Apple (correctly) locked the AppleID.
You will need to contact Apple -> http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/contact/
and explain what happened. -
I see charges on my iTunes account that I did not make.
Hello, I'm showing over 200 dollars of charges I did not make. In fact, my computer was being shipped back to me for school since the 17 of Feb. When I got it all up and running I open my email to see multiple charges of music on the 1st of March that I did not purchase. I consider myself a safe surfer and always keep windows and firefox updated, I also run noscript. I ran various anti trojan programs and spybot s&d in safemode and came up clean. I was in a rush to get to class so I was unable to call apple today before they closed.
What is apple's policy on something like this where multiple purchases were made on someone's account without them knowing about it? I plan on calling them in the morning but I would like some input on if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to rectify the situation.Remove your CC info from your iTunes account, change your password and immediately notify your credit card company and dispute the charges.

Same as any other retailer with bogus charges. Your credit card company authorized the charges so it's up to you to dispute the charges with the credit card company and your CC company to contact Apple.

Don't waste your time. They will tell you to notify your CC company as would any other retailer. -
I'm checking my iTunes account, and it shows that a bunch of apps have been added to my account that I did not buy, nor are they on my iPhone. What can I do?
