Image on Datatable header

Hi all.
We need to include an image (<img>) in the header of a table. Is it possible? So far we could only add text to the headers.

JSF table - column width are set in the styleclasses available through the h:dataTable itself.
There is a property - columnClasses where you can specify the column width of each column (you will have to specify a styleclass for each column though)
For example if you have 3 columns in the dataTable and you want to give
5% width to the first column, 5% to the second and 90% for the last, you can create the following css stylesheet classes (watch the width field down here):

border-bottom-color: #c4c4f9;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
text-align: center;
width: 5%
.AdminSectionPublish {
border-bottom-color: #c4c4f9;

Now in your h:datatable columnclasses, you specify like this:

I need to display more then one component in the header of a datatable. Currently, we are able to display the table along with the header values using datatable. Next to the header we want to display 2 icons, one to denote sorted by descending and another to denote that

you should use one component inside a facet.. So, you can solve your problem by encapsulating all that command links and outputtext inside a jsppanel component.. like;
<f:facet name="header">
<jsppanel>
<h:commandLink descending...>
<h:outputText header >
<h:commandLink ascending... >
<jsppanel />
</f:facet>

Anchor link only for image in table header for sorting

Hi,
I need to implement sorting functionality for datatable.
for sorting header of the table column will have image along with header text.
for this i am using <h:commandLink> and <h:graphicImage>.
But i am getting behaviour as anchor link for both text and image.
deserved behavior for this is only ofr Image.
If any one implemented the same ..please help me

How to add an image in the header? Pages 5.0

I don't believe I have to use Microsoft Word! I can't, no way, add an image in the header. This is unbelievable!
**** time I updated to Mavericks!
Please, does anyone know the solution?

Problem with buttons in datatable header

Hi
I have command buttons in the datatable header .When I display the data in columns there is a gap between buttons .I want the buttons should be stretched automatically along with column data there should not be no gap between buttons regardless how big the data is in each column.
Can anybody help me asap.

This issue is that the second header is an instance of the first, so all unmanaged relative code breaks. I would hazzard a guess to say that your add code looks like "$.parent.row1.instanceManager.addInstance(1)." This will break, as the "second" header row no longer sees the 'table' element as it's parent.
Changing to code to a static reference will fix it... i.e. xfa.form.form1.table1.row1.instanceManager.addInstance(1).
This should solve it for you... if not, let me know.

Thanks for the quick response.
The problem is that when I keep the logo as a watermark, the pdf is not adjusting itself to include the logo as header.
But if I add a header text via Tools -> Headers and Footers, the pdf is adjusting itself so that the header text is at the beginning , not overlapping with the contents of pdf.
But while using logo as watermark, some times overlapping of the pdf contents and logo is happening.
Is there any way to add a logo in the Header and Footer via the option in Tools -> Headers and Footers

We typically see this when an organizations IT department is blocking the upload of images. Are you working on this at work? If so, can you try adding the image outside your companies network?

Why can't I insert an image into the header in Pages 5.0.1?

In previouis versions of Pages, I was able to insert an image into a Header or Footer.
This action does not appear an option in Pages 5.0.1.
Am I missing something?
I must say, I do not like the NEW interface. Much has been lost with the transition to the Cloud.
I like the concept of using my iPad Air and my desktop, however functionality has been tossed out for deference to the Tablet.

Use a "Floating Graphic" and send it to the Section Master in the Arrange > Section Master menu. Floating is called Stays With Page now. Don't worry about it not being in the Header field. It will serve the purpose.

How can I resize an image in the header?

I have uploaded my organization's logo into our document, but it is out of proportion to the rest of the document. I've delted it and uploaded smaller versions of the logo and it is still too big. How can I format the image in the header so that it is more reasonably sized?

Making some texbox and image invisible from header in the second page and third page only

i have written this expression for the image
=iif(Globals!PageNumber= 1,false,True)
the problem is, it is repeating in every pages, i want it to be displayed in the page one only, when the rdlc report is generated in the report viewer

According to your description, you added textbox and image to page header, now you want to display them on the first page, on other pages, their visibility is set to false, but the image is visible on every page.
I tried to reproduce the issue in my local machine, but it works fine for me. I set visibility of textbox and image by following steps:
Right-click the image, click Image Properties.
Click Visibility in left pane, select Show or hide based on an expression.
Click (fx) button and type the expression: =iif(Globals!PageNumber= 1,false,True).

How do you set-up a floating image in a header or footer?

I want to place a floating image in the header or footer so it repeats on every page of a section. Somehow this has been achieved in the Project Proposal Template but I can't work out how you set something like this up from scratch. Can you help me?

It is not in the header.
Highlight the floating image and then go Format > Advanced > Move Ojbects to Section Master.

How do I place an image over the header?

I am new to web design and new to Dreamweaver CS4. I have used 2 column template with header and footer. I have got a header title (an image) but I want to place an image to the left of it in the top left corner of the web page. I want the header region to be the height of the title as I want the image to have a greater height than the header area. When I insert the image it goes into the header region and the header automatically increases its height to fit the image. How can I overlay the image on the header rather than inserting it in the header? Any help would be appreciated.

Designing web pages is nothing like designing for print. To achieve what you want , you'll either need to create a special header image in Photoshop or Fireworks that contains white space and/or slices from surrounding images. Insert this new image into your header region.
Or, you could simply place image in the background using CSS. Then align your message text using CSS floats and margins. See demo below for an example.

Image size from header

Hi,
I'm trying to extract image size from header for PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP and GIF files. So far I got PNG working. I'm having problems finding size info for JPG files. Anyone knows where I can read about it (i didnt find nothing on google) or have the code that works? also for the other image types?
P.S. I dont wanna read the entire image using Image class cause its too slow.
