Imbalance

the debtors control account plus the foreign debtors account must equal the Trial Balance debtors an the customer receivables ageing report both with reconciled and un-reconciled ticked an the Trial Balance must balance.
We can get all the accounts to balance but the trial balance is still out by £451.52.
If we get the trial balance to balance the front and back screen of the account number C030AST are different and changes are made to the sales ledger account.
There is a utility in help which corrects all the account balances and puts it right but then the reports are out again. We have amended the followg files to try and rectify the problem JDT1 and OACT are there any other files that we should be looking at in sql
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

HI Elaine,
I am a bit unsure of what you have done but I hope you are not doing direct updates in the db through SQL.
You can check the postings that has been done on the control accounts with the following queries:
Suppliers:
SELECT T0.[Account], sum(T0.[Debit] - T0.[Credit]) as 'Balance' FROM JDT1 T0 WHERE T0.[Account] <>  T0.[ShortName] and  T0.[ShortName] in (SELECT T0.[CardCode] FROM OCRD T0 WHERE T0.[CardType] = 'S') and  T0.[RefDate] <=[%0] GROUP BY T0.[Account]
Customers:
SELECT T0.[Account], sum(T0.[Debit] - T0.[Credit]) as 'Balance' FROM JDT1 T0 WHERE T0.[Account] <>  T0.[ShortName] and  T0.[ShortName] in (SELECT T0.[CardCode] FROM OCRD T0 WHERE T0.[CardType] = 'C') and  T0.[RefDate] <=[%0] GROUP BY T0.[Account]
Check if there are any unexpected accounts returned.
Hope it helps,
Jesper

  • GR IR imbalance

    Hi,
I have a PO for which tan invoice was posted before the GR as done. I know that when an invoice exist then the average price of invoice will be taken when the GR price is calculated.
I am having a scenario where I have purchase order history as attached.
Short Text     Movement Type     Posting Date     Quantity     Order Unit     Amount in LC  currency
    GR     122                     2008-06-24     -60000     EA     -60000            TWD
    GR     101                     2008-06-18      60000     EA      67499            TWD
    IR-L                          2008-06-13     -1     EA     -7500            TWD
    IR-L                          2008-06-13      1     EA     7500            TWD
Now there is a GR IR imbance of 7499 TWD. Why GR price was calculatres as 67499 when the invoice was reveresed
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Hi,
As per the given information, i have inferred like this.
IR-L 2008-06-13 1 EA 7500 TWD ---On 13th an invoice has been posted for 7500twd without posting the GR.
On the same day this invoice got reversed (IR-L 2008-06-13 -1 EA -7500 TWD).
means the PO is afresh which can accept the PO price during GR.
GR 101 2008-06-18 60000 EA 67499 TWD--- on 18th a GR has been made for this PO which took the actual PO price.
GR 122 2008-06-24 -60000 EA -60000 TWD--- The same material has been returned to vendor  on 24th.
As per the given information by you this situation is not the GRIR imbalance (As the entered invoice invoice is reversed before posting of GR)
In general if you post invoice before GR system will take the material master price.
It needs till more details like a)are there any PO price changes before returning to vendor and after the GR b)Does the PO is ordered in which UOM (opun/buom)c)Intial PO price etc.
Requested to provide some more data.

  • Load balancing imbalance in ACE

We are facing slowness an http application which is due to connection imbalance. This setup has one set of Load balancer and a proxy in DMZ where the connections gets terminated from the users and a load balancer inside LAN which load balances between the end point servers. All user connections terminate on the DMZ load balancer / proxy and proxy connects back to the internal load balancer VIP. (By collating a number of connections to very few - default proxy behavior) . Internal load balancer VIP does load balancing based on the number of connections in a least loaded manner and this load balancer doesn’t see how many sessions are beneath each connections and it distributes each connection to server underneath. Thus if one connection has around 100 sessions, another may have only a few and each of this gets forwarded to the end server causing the imbalance.
Is there a way that this imbalance can be tackled in this setup.
Users --> Proxy ---> Load balancer (Cisco ACE) --> Server 1
                                                                                                    Server 2
                                                                                                    Server 3
    Least Connections predictor
    HTTP Cookie insert sticky

    Hi,
Persistance rebalance should solve the issue for you.
The persistent-rebalance function is required if you have proxy users and the proxy shares one TCP connection between multiple users.
With this behavior, inside a single connection you will see different cookies. Therefore, for each cookie, ACE needs to first detect the new cookie and then loadbalance to the appropriate server.
this is from the admin Guide :
The following example specifies the parameter-map type http command to enable HTTP persistence after it has been disabled:
    host1/Admin(config)# parameter-map type http http_parameter_map
    Host1/Admin(config-parammap-http)# persistence-rebalance

  • CX50 Automatic Line Items - Financial Imbalance

We are creating a posting entry (CX50) for several Consolidation Units and posting to BS and IS positions.
As result automatic line ítems are generated for solving the Financial Statment Imbalances, these automatic line ítems are ONLY created for the first Consolidation Unit that was entered and not distributed to other CU.
We are expecting that if we enter 3 consolidation units,  we should have the correspondent automatic line ítems per each CU.

No, that is not the case; the invoice amount corresponds to the total of the line items plus tax. I'll try to clarify the situation with an example:
Price of material MAT001 from PO: 1000,00 CUR
Price of material MAT001 as updated upon entry of incoming invoice: 1200,00 CUR
    Tax percentage: 20%
    Tax amount: 240,00 CUR
    Invoice amount: 1440,00 CUR
    Balance: 0,00
In such a case I get the error "Balance is not equal to zero: 200,00 CUR" because of the 200,00 CUR that doesn't get posted anywhere.

  • Imbalance in PCA

    Hi,
I'm having this issue consistantly ..
This imbalance is a PCA Issue.. It apperars that PCA did not pick up everything . Whne you review the tab with the document details, I can see that this issue is between all PCA accounts. I was able to narrow it down to GL accounts. Just by using the filter. Normally,if a late adjustment is posted and prcesses are re-run such as cutback that will cause this type of error. When PCA is run the following month, it will pick this up.. However, this amount was not picked up by PCA in period 7 and it is still out.
    Appriciate any value input.
    Regards

    Dear John,
You can repost the same in Dec 2014, if the Fiscal year is closed you can open asset fiscal in OAAQ.
Restart Dep run for 12 2014 in AFAB.
Then you can see that the value is posted to FI and PCA correctly. You need to open OB52 as well.
Note the workaround you proposed will only balance the carryforward in 2015. But system will not let you open Asset fiscal year 2016 in the coming YEC since system will have this entry unposted.

  • Dual USB Mics - Imbalance of sound in Podcast

    Hi
My wife and I are creating a PodCast in Garageband (first time using GB!). For the Podcast, we purchased 2 Blue Snowball USB microphones, including Pop filters.
I have followed the directions outlined here. No problem following the various steps, however, I have not used "Soundflower" yet.
When all is installed, Mic # 1 (male voice) sound comes through very clearly (quite loud). By contrast, Mic # 2 seems "distant" - voice recorded has a lot of echo and does not have the "presence" of Mic 1. To be sure the microphone was not defective, I switched the USB wires (they are both plugged directly into my iMac). The effect experienced with Mic 2 now shows up in Mic 1 and vice versa.
I have also noticed an error message appearing when I restart the computer (perhaps has no effect). The error says AudioPcDriver.kext incorrectly installed. Given it's an audio extension, I thought perhaps it might be contributing to the microphone imbalance.
Appreciate any feedback or guidance here.
    thanks

    Hi HT
    Thanks for responding.
I tapped each mic. Only one showed sound recording. I switched the USB cables. No problem with the mics as the lack of sound on one mic switched to the other mic on the GB panel.
    Here's a few screen shots:

    Thanks for the help.

  • Accelerometer Signal to Detect Shaft Imbalance

    Good day every one,
I've been trying to find a way to detect imbalancing in a shaft fixed to a motor in a simple educational package, the problem is that vibration is not my field. I wonder if there is any one out there who can help me, i guess i dont need much but some hints. I do appreciate your efforts in advance.
I've installed an accelerometer on one of the bearings and am facing the following problems,
1- I read that I probably have DC oftset and I have to get rid of it. I am not able to do that, I viewed NI example about that but couldnt do it , also i couldnt deal with the FIR filter. any help about that please?
2- My FFT plot is not fine !! .. I am getting peaks everywhere .. and those peaks dont move with the speed of the shaft .. ( I knew they should )
3- I cant understand the frequency resolution thing and how it affects my measurements .
4- what's the frequency at which i would note the imbalance ?!
I am getting imbalance myself please help
    Moh

    Thanks for the questions.
    1) is the accelerometer powered?  Most accels, IEPE or ICP, require a 24V power supply with 2 to 4ma of current.  If the accelerometer is not powered, then you will get a crazy FFT similar to what you describe.
    2) the DC offset comes from the power used by the accel.  Most vibration acquisition boards (aka - usb-9233) provide an AC coupling circuit that removes the DC.  THese boards also provide the power.  If you are powering externally, your DAQ board needs to have +/- 24V range to see the AC signal (vibration) riding on top of the power (DC offset = power source for accel).  You can use a simple voltage divider to reduce the voltage if you need.  Once you have the signal digitized, the easiet method of removing DC, is to capture enough data in one block of acquisition that you have several rotations (10 or more).  You can use the statistical median then to find your DC value, and simply subtract this from your original array of data.  This is less sophisticated than the high pass filter, but it works well if you have enough cycles (rotations) in your data block.
    3) frequency resolution is the number of points in your FFT plot.  It is also know as delta-f, or the distance in frequency of each data point in your FFT.  Better resolution means smaller delta-f.  You can reduce the delta-F by collecting more data (longer data acquisition time).
    4) unbalance is a one times rotation vibration, it will appear in the FFT at running speed.  You will need to know the speed of your machine to find the unbalance peak.  Do you have a a tachometer?

  • Stereo imbalance

    Hi,
I'm new here- firstly apologies for the long-winded question.
I am trying to record from 2 CD decks and a mixer into Audition having finally upgraded from Cool Edit. The CD mixer outputs into an external amp which plays the music through 2 speakers and has a double 3.5mm jack record ouput which connects to the external mic on my HP laptop (one 3.5mm jack input).
I was recording fine through Audition when suddenly the left speaker connected to the amp cut out (there is still a distorted noise coming through it) and the left recording input on Audition has been greatly reduced.
Strangely when I take the lead out of the computer the amp speaker works fine again. I am baffled to how an ouput lead (amp to computer) effects one of the speakers connected to the amp!
Has anyone come across this before and has any explanation/solutions.
Help would be greatly appreciated. I don't even mind if I'm recording in mono.
I have Windows 7 and appear to be using MME.

You absolutely need to get somebody electrically competent to check out the situation with your leads, I think. It sounds as though the laptop input is placing a very significant load on your outboard equipment in a manner that doesn't sound very healthy at all.

  • Imbalance GR/SES value in PO History

We have the following scenario for PO:
    1. PO service item value = $10 (acc cat = P, item cat = D)
    2. Create SES value = $10
    3. Create invoice value = $1
    4. Create credit memo = $1
    5. Revoke SES (step 2) value = $10
    6. Delete SES (step 2) value = $10
It ended up with following in PO History:
    GR 102 -$1
    GR 101 $10
    IR -$1
    IR $1
    SES $0
As we can see total GR value is $9 with IR & SES value is $0. Anyone can advise how to balance it?
    note: accounting side is tally.

    Hi,
This sort of miscalculations happen when your PO does not have Service Based IV ticked.
In your case, is it ticked? If it isn't, tick it, and try again with a fresh PO.

    Hi,
I am facing an issue with PC report.
    When 2KEE is run:
the column In PROFIT CENTER CURRENCY shows USD$ 40k
the column COCODE CURRENT the amount is ZERO
I need to post manually as a workaround that equal both columns for Period 3 (March). FBB1 did not work for me.
Would anybody know which transactions can be used ?
    Any input is welcome.

  • Asset GL & Asst Register imbalance

We are getting a mismatch in the Asset GL & Asset Report  (ABST2 executed):
c CoCd Acct no.   BusA Year SG  1st local difference
    S 1100   11000           2011                    3.00-
    S 1100   33010           2011                  980.00-

    S 1100   33060           2011               14,300.66-
All the above GLs are Accumulated Depreciation GL accounts.
In GL it is showing less where as in Asst register it is showing more.
I dont know why the above difference is being caused.  How can we correct it ?

    Hi Nikitha,
The account with which you have the differece has "Line items" activated, Run ABST
if you do not have the line items activated, please check with ABST2.
You can check this is in FS03 > Control Data. While running the reconciliation reports ABST2 & ABST,
if non of the reports, display any error, then there is no reconciliatio-n issue.
Also please look at the attatched SAP notes that will help youin resolving the issue :
543151 FAQ Note Reconciliation of FI <-> FI-AA
382548 Composite note reconciliation Asset Accounting
364878 Reconciliation with FI-GL during the fiscal year

    499536 Compare report RAABST02 (FI-GL <-> FI-AA reconciliation)
    0000897388
Still it is not solved apply the following
If you find the asset details from ABST the you can update thro AS02
select the problematic assset in AS02 and goto Edit and execute recalculate values.
    this will solve all issues.

  • No error for imbalance incoming invoice

    Dear Guru,
    This issue in IR (MIRO)
    GR amount is 1.48
    Tax amount : No tax (V0-Input tax - 0%)
Amount : 1.55 entered in basic data
    Balance : 0.07 MYR
As per my understanding, error (red button) will prompt if the balance is not 0.00 in balance field. In this case green button prompt & no error prompt. The balance shows is correct (1.55-1.48=0.07) & it suppose show error if it's not balance but it doesn't happen. This issue found in test system. Appreciate if you assist me to resolve this issue. Thank you.

    Hi
If tolerance group for company code is 0001 then maintain the same group in Vendor master record payment transaction tab (for IV). Then if the payment difference (between invoice line item and invoice amount in header) is not with in limits specified for that tolerance group system issues an error message (message number M8/534).
    Please see the help note:
*1. The system determines the difference between the net invoice amount (= gross invoice amount less taxes and unplanned delivery costs) and the net total of the items.
If the net invoice amount is the greater, the difference is positive; if the net invoice amount is the smaller, the difference is negative.
    2. Negative differences:
    a) If the negative difference is smaller than the absolute negative small difference limit defined, the system generates a posting to a small differences account for this difference.
    b) If the negative difference is greater than the absolute small difference limit defined, the system checks if the absolute difference is smaller than the lower of the absolute and percentage lower limits.
If this is the case, the system creates a posting to a small differences account.
If this is not the case, the system cannot post the invoice*
It the difference is more than the tolerance value (either negative or positive - if it is more than the absolute limit or % value - * in local currency*) then system issues an error message. Just try to enter an invoice with difference value more and see the difference. Before that maintain tolerance key in VM otherwise system will not propose any debit/credit message.
    Thanks

  • How Can I Fix a Bounce Imbalance?

    Logic Express 9.1.6
(I believe this also applies to Logic Studio)
I'm bouncing out a mix that has some mono tracks outputting to Front Right, some to Front left, and one stereo track to Stereo Out. But the bounce doesn't hold the levels of the left output tracks. I've even tried rtificially increasing the amplitude of those tracks, but the same thing happens. There's clearly some setting(s) that are causing thois, but I'm not familiar enough with the process t figure it out. Can anyone help?

Well Paul, this was extremely helpful, Thank you!
I suspect there is an underlying problem with my bounces (see below), but I was able get a decent bounce from this mix and a few others (I'm remixing some recordings I did last year) after resetting the tracks to stereo and using hard pans to isolate right and left channels.
I also discovered (for the troublesome mix, above) that removing any from of normalization from the bounce was a big imnprovement.
However, I ran into a simalar bounce problem with my last remix. No matter what I do to the settings of each track, the bounce doesn't produce the levels I hear out of the Logic mix (esp. tracks 3 and 4). I've set all tracks to stereo, and I've even omitted any pans just to eliminate that as a factor. I didn't apply any limiters or other settings that would limit the output levels (as far as I know).
What could cause this dicrepancy between the levels out of Logic and the levels in the bonce?

  • Imbalances between the dep area values

    Hi
We have separate areau2019s for local currency- 01 (INR)  and  Group Currency- ( 03 ) for reporting purpose. The Group dep area was set up the dependent area of 01. What ever values are posted in dep are -01 the same values are automatically updated to group
    dep 03.
But  last month we have posted the depreciation in the company codes. After that we have executed the reports at the both area ( 01 & 03 ). Now these dep area are showing the different values in AM & FI at group currency ( USD ). Even the  local currency values are updated similarly in AM & FI.. There was no problem in local currcy u2013 INR (dep are-01 ), there is a problem in group currency u2013 USD ( dep are- 03 ).
Why the values are updated differently in AM u2013 FI at group currency- USD only ?.
We have set up different GL accounts for both dep areau2019s
    Dep areau2013 01 ( local currency u2013 INR )
    Dep area-  03 ( Group currency u2013 USD )
    Thanks

Have a look to the asset value date when you created the posting, I think it takes the exchange rate from that date. For the depreciation it takes the date from the last day of the Month.
How you have setup Specify the Use of Parallel Currencies??? --  Yes
    SPRO:
