Improved eclipse support

Hi, have you thought about improving the eclipse plugin for Kodo?. Going
to something like the JBuilder plugin (with property windows for metadata
files, etc).
Thanks.

This is on our todo list but hasn't been given a priority yet. We
recommend running Kodo Workbench until then which gives you even more
capabilities without imposing another IDE upon your environment.

    I know others have mentioned SVG and Typekit in this ideas forum before. However, as the old proverb goes, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease," these feature requests bear repeating.
    With so many kinds of displays viewing web content it's becoming increasingly necessary to use scaleable vector-based graphics in web page designs. This need is made more extreme if the layout is going to scale up or down in size based on the monitor viewing the page, or if a mobile device user pinch-zooms into the page. Fixed resolution pixel-based designs really fall apart in this regard. Fixed resolution pixel-based imagery only looks good in its native resolution, not zoomed in any way.
    In terms of covering large displays, layouts using more vector-based elements will load faster. Vector-based imagery is more file size efficient than pixel-based versions of the same content. This really becomes critical if one is creating a layout optimized for viewing on high resolution tablets like the latest iPad and Nexus models or viewing on large computer monitors with resolutions beyond 1080p HD. We're now starting to see 4K Ultra HDTV sets and 4K computer monitors. A completely pixel-based layout in the standard 960 pixel wide norm will look pretty bad when blown up to fill a 4K HDTV screen. Photos will look fairly jaggy, but graphical items like logos will look really horrible.
    Vector-based artwork cannot replace everything. Photographic based imagery and graphics using photo like effects are still best produced in pixel-based form.
    Web pages need to be able to do what print-based publishing has been doing decades: combine pixel and vector based content together for more professional looking layouts. SVG is key to that in web design/development.
    I'd like to see Muse not only support SVG imagery, but I'd also like to see Muse allow placement of Adobe Illustrator artwork in AI or PDF format and output of those items in SVG. Muse already supports placement of layered Photoshop files. It's only fair for Illustrator to be supported for vector-based content.
    Regarding Typekit, I think Muse should be able to support all the commercial Typekit fonts for those who have Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions. An account validation hook should grant access to those typefaces.

    We&#39;ve just made the CAL Eclipse Plug-in available on the main page (see the software download section).
    This Plug-in currently offers:
    A CAL Editor with appropriate syntax highlighting and indenting
    A early version of the CAL Builder that updates the error view
    This is a relatively early release of the CAL Eclipse Plug-in and the main benefit at the moment is the CAL aware editor. See the release notes to learn how to set up to run ICE in the Eclipse console which wil provide reasonably easy access to developer tools that are not yet integrated with the Eclipse UI.

  • Improved firmware support/update policy wanted!

    I'm a long time user of Nokia Communicators (several generations). My current phone is an E90 Communicator. Overall, it's a great phone. However, it has it's problems, major ones being an obsolete web browser and a buggy messaging application.
    And now my point: On it's web site Nokia advises us to keep our firmware up-to-date. However, Nokia only releases firmware updates for a period of about 1½ years after product release. This is not acceptable. Firmware updates should be provided for 3 to 5 years after product release. As it stands, I have not received any software repairs, security fixes and new features from Nokia since almost 1½ years!
    Yesterday Nokia announced the successor of the E90: the E7. I like that phone very much, but I'm very hesitant to buy it because of the short period Nokia supports the firmware. Therefore my next phone will most likely be an Android. Nokia could make me change my mind by publicly announcing a new and improved firmware policy.
    Nokia, please take note of an otherwise very satisfied customer!

    the version you are mentioning is the PC SW Version number. The main package has the 2.x numbering.
    So with SW update 2.10 you have also the latest PC SW firmware.
    Using hyperterminal and typing ATI you can get the main version (firmware / PC SW) info from your stick

    I have a suggestion to make so that you can serve the customers in the better way, and the customers

    When a customer gives his/her phone in the service center and it reaches the place like "L3" or higher
    than that, then the technical guy who is going to repair the phone if he can "Call" that person whose phone he is repairing.
    It will help customer to tell the problem briefly and you will be help the customer in the better way.

  • Custom CompaundEdit  for improved Undo Support

    Hi,
    how can i create a custom CompoundEdit for my JTextPane? By default every change on my Document is one Edit, so that everytime i press a Key, an Edit is created and put into my UndoManager, but i want to undo more than one character once i pressed my Undo Button, like MSWord does.
    I really dont know where to start?
    It would be great if someone can help me.

    I think the original request is for the ability to undo multple groups of edits. For example:
    1) enter 'abc'
    2) go back to start of document and enter '123'
    3) undo should remove '123'
    4) undo again should remove 'abc'
    (the default undo would remove 3, 2, 1, c, b, a)
    Stas, the solution you provided removes '123abc' when the first undo is invoked.
    Assuming, my understanding of the question is what the user wants, the following code works. My approach is to build a compound edit with individual edits that differ from the previous offset by only 1. When the offset is greater than 1, the compound edit is 'ended' and added to the UndoManager.
    The problem with this approach is that the compound edit is always considered 'inProgress' and the canUndo() method always returns false. Using suggestions found in this thread I then attempted to create MyCompoundEdit and override the addEdit() method so I could end() the compound edit as soon as it is created. Now, the canUndo() method works however, all edits are merged into 1 when an undo is done.
    Maybe, my approach will give some ideas to others who might be able to solve the problem.

  • How do I voice my opinion to Microsoft about improving Power BI support?

    Hello. I now have two Office 365 and two Power BI licenses. From time to time I post a question to one of the forums. I presently have two unanswered questions that I posted yesterday, July 22. Often times it might be several days before I get an answer.
    I admit that I do not completely understand how the forums work but I assume that no one is getting paid to answer the questions here, although I do see that many questions are answered by Microsoft employees so I guess you could say that they are being paid. 
    I think Microsoft could improve the support for these products by having a support line that subscribers of Power BI could call or a website with a chat feature to answer questions, like Sony has for Sony laptops. I understand that support lines may be a
    costly proposition but I think Microsoft should be willing to bear the cost for this. If not a support line then how about producing some in-depth "how to" videos on using Power BI.

    Hi Arthur,
    The forum is not the official support path.  
    To open a support call you can open the Office365 admin center and go to the support tab >> service request.
    Once you submit a request from there it is routed to the support org. BTW, when you ask to open a new request you can also see the phone number you can call.
    I will try to see if I can help with the problems you submitted yesterday, but I suggest to try this path as well.

  • Windows 10, Display at 100%, 1920 x 1200 = Very blurry and tiny Eclipse

    Besides changing my display scaling to 125% (which makes Eclipse look good, but everything else larger), is there a setting on Eclipse or updates coming to improve Eclipse scaling for HDPI?

    Looks like right clicking on the EXE, properties, compatibility -> Disable display scaling on High DPI settings fix the issue. -Still, will this be addressed?

    HiDPI is not correctly supported in Eclipse Mars but it is planned for Eclipse Neon as said by the speaker of the presentation mentioned.
    I think that you can follow this bug to see progress on the subject and provide help to implement it.

    Things need to be added, improved, modifying or even be developed in any update or upcoming version of Windows Phone - in my opinion - are as follows :
    System Improvements :
    1- Windows Phone must include a System , folder & files Management app as embedded app rather than an external or independent limited functions app . Also files Explorer or Files Management app should handle all files ( whatever it was ) that are being transfered through Bluetooth and shows save location on the mobile .
    2- Install applications from external memory ( SD Card ) without needing to Internet connection , as well as doing search in the phone using Bing search button without need for an Internet connection .
    3- Allow phone book contacts linking to any of Social or communication , dialing or calling apps , such as Line , Telegram , KakaoTalk & WhatsApp as an example and not being limited to Skype, Facebook or Linkedin only .
    4-  Windows Phone must support running Adobe flash files ( swf & flv ) , Animated GIFs & Java files to be run & play on all WP8 devices .
    5- Fix consuming huge amounts of data on memory by installed apps , the matter that often not found on a PC! .
    6 - one of many defects / faults / shortcomings in WP 8.1 is that user can't add any apps by himself to run within apps for video calls that exist in phone settings , nor adding apps in notifications action center , or apps that its status can be appear on lock screen , unlike ( rather than ) predefined apps by system itself , as well as , there is no ( choice / function / option ) to add an application that can be used to run different function , such as selecting Adobe photoshop Express to be within apps that can run picture files captured .

Also we can open an app like papyrus and all what we do writing in is shown for all participants in the same time and also they can do writing in and save what they have done. Also, when playing audio file, all participants can listen to it at the same time ( this is completely different from upload and sharing feature and may looks like web conferencing ).
    5- Improving & Enhancing Remote Access apps & technologies for Devices & Systems Administration .
    Browser improvements :
    1- Adding  Save Page as feature for html webpages that have been saved through G.Chrome in Windows 7 or have been browsed through IE 11 on WP 8.1 . 
    2- an important functions in IE doesn't exist or discarded , such as home page button & Navigation buttons ( back & forward ) .
    Store Improvements :
    1- resolve problem of store restricted download for certain apps that are dedicated to particular region .
    2- Install applications from external memory ( SD Card ) without needing to Internet connection .
    Maps Improvements :
    Enhancing maps applications by adding ability to add places and landmarks to the map by the user , for example when I go for a trip or a picnic , I pass with someplace or landmark , such as a shopping mall , pharmacy or bookshop , ... etc where I like to add and save such this location data ( Name , info & details ) on map , then find it later through search function on this app like here maps or here drive .
    Wallet Improvements :
    WP 8.1 Wallet should be improved to support and accept shop , buy from and payment for various websites and online stores , such as ebay , Amazon & Ali express and not being limited to buy from and pay for Microsoft stores only .
                    Also , WP 8.1 Wallet became so primitive , because it is not ordered and categorized like previous WP version ( 8 ) , where you can name every card , set its details & infos and let ( allow ) you add various types of payment cards , such as : debit cads , offers : discounts coupons , subscriptions , memberships , prepaid cards , bank accounts ( your online mobile banking service data ) & E- payment accounts like Paypal rather than improve it to accept and support Mastercard paypass , electronic bill payment ( gas, electricity , water , telephone , any purchases ) like a POS machine , however it isn't like this in recent version of WP ( 8.1 ) . All the matter that Wallet takes or sync your raw , primary and so basic data as it is from your account on Microsoft ! and don't let you make any additions , modification or any specific customization .
    Display & lock screen Improvements :
    1- Make alerts & notifications on lock screen are interactive .
    2- there is no news reader function / feature on lock screen like rss feeds .
    3- Support wireless screen content sharing : Clone View , Miracast , WiDi ( WiFi Display ) , screen mirroring on large displays for all WP8.1 devices .
    Print & printing improvements :
    Support Wireless & Network printing for Office , Pdf , html & picture files or from any readable applications ( such as : news apps , health & fitness apps , some business apps , Education & books + reference apps ) .
    Networks & Connection Improvements:
    1- Expand WiFi , Bluetooth profiles & other wireless connecting technologies uses and functionality to include other technologies unlike ( rather than being limited to ) Bluetooth & WiFi , such as : WiFi direct , WiDi , Miracast , …etc .
    2- Adding Wi-Fi direct feature for all WP devices to send any files through a Wi-Fi Connection directly.
    3- Support wireless connecting to various devices , networking with & access to such as PCs & Printers for files sharing or exchanging , management.
    Hardware improvements :
    1- Support recognize handwriting that support Arabic language & applications that support Arabic handwriting.
    2- Support memory Card readers and flash USB through mobile's micro USB .
    Security & Protection Improvements :
     improve device security and protection against stealing , like making an app for detect the person who enter invalid lock key to open the device .

    You have no business in the main OS file system and due to the way the OS works this is simply not possible.
    2- Install applications from external memory ( SD Card ) without needing to Internet connection , as well as doing search in the phone using Bing search button without need for an Internet connection .
    Is possible now, download the XAP from the store and copy to SDcard. Internet connection will always be needed to verify regional restrictions and ownership amongst other things.
    3- Allow phone book contacts linking to any of Social or communication , dialing or calling apps , such as Line ,
    Telegram , KakaoTalk & WhatsApp as an example and not being limited to Skype, Facebook or Linkedin only .
    Talk to the respective developers, the OS provided the hooks, they need to implement this.
    4- Windows Phone must support running Adobe flash files ( swf & flv ) , Animated GIFs & Java files to be run & play on all WP8 devices .
    No modern day mobile OS supports Flash, it was discontinued a long time ago
    Not sure why JAVA would be such a big deal.. I can see the huge security issues and would expect it to conflict with OS

    Not sure what you are getting at here, on your PC you need about three times the application install size as well.

    Nope, when you have multiple accounts the OS will ask which account the contact needs to sync with.

    Again, talk to developers, ther groundwork is actually in the OS.. Take up developing apps and do it yourself. If you think it's a big deal you stand to make a lot of money.
    5- Improving & Enhancing Remote Access apps & technologies for Devices & Systems Administration .
    No problem accessing anything through SSH or through any of the apps I have to access my PC, my server, my media players or my Xbox..
    Browser improvements :
    1- Adding Save Page as feature for html webpages that have been saved through G.Chrome in Windows 7 or have been browsed through IE 11 on WP 8.1 .

    2- an important functions in IE doesn't exist or discarded , such as home page button & Navigation buttons ( back & forward ) .
    Never missed the home button, actually never use it on my PC as well.. as far as back/forward goes try the back button (forward makes little sense to me anyway
    Store Improvements :
    1- resolve problem of store restricted download for certain apps that are dedicated to particular region .
    Talk to the developers, they set these limits when publishingthe app(s)
    2- Install applications from external memory ( SD Card ) without needing to Internet connection .

    Maps Improvements :
    Enhancing maps applications by adding ability to add places and landmarks to the map by the user , for example when I go for a trip or a picnic , I pass with someplace or landmark , such as a shopping mall , pharmacy or bookshop , ... etc where I like to add and save such this location data ( Name , info & details ) on map , then find it later through search function on this app like here maps or here drive .
    Tap/hold then save as favourite. Been there like forever
    Wallet Improvements :
    WP 8.1 Wallet should be improved to support and accept shop , buy from and payment for various websites and
    online stores , such as ebay , Amazon & Ali express and not being limited to buy from and pay for Microsoft stores only .
    Also , WP 8.1 Wallet became so primitive , because it is not ordered and categorized like previous WP version ( 8 ) , where you can name every card , set its details & infos and let ( allow ) you add various types of payment cards , such as : debit cads , offers : discounts coupons , subscriptions , memberships , prepaid cards , bank accounts ( your online mobile banking service data ) & E- payment accounts like Paypal rather than improve it to accept and support Mastercard paypass , electronic bill payment ( gas, electricity , water , telephone , any purchases ) like a POS machine , however it isn't like this in recent version of WP ( 8.1 ) . All the matter that Wallet takes or sync your raw , primary and so basic data as it is from your account on Microsoft ! and don't let you make any additions , modification or any specific customization .
    Up to stores/developers/shops/banks to support. The option is there and built in.
    Display & lock screen Improvements :
    1- Make alerts & notifications on lock screen are interactive .
    It's a lockscreen for a reason
    2- there is no news reader function / feature on lock screen like rss feeds .

    Not sure what you are getting at here. IMO technologies should be used for what they are intended, not whatever side effects/hacks ppl made up oever time or at at time when there were no real options. Actually Bluetooth internet sharing is coming in the next update.
    2- Adding Wi-Fi direct feature for all WP devices to send any files through a Wi-Fi Connection directly.
    For what purpose?

    We are announcing a new Business Catalyst release, scheduled to go live on Thursday, May 3rd. With this release, we are continuing our investments in system performance and stability by increasing our web servers capacity, enabling HTTP acceleration to provide faster site loading times, and improving the site creation speed by using pre-generated sites.
    On the product side, we have completely revamped our partner support workflow taking advantage of the Adobe support infrastructure and tools, enhanced the site templates workflow for partners, and included lots of bug fixes and improvements.     Partner support
    Updated Help & Support partner experience
    Following Adobe ID support, we have upgraded BC  support tools (cases, chat, documentation) with standard Adobe tools. As a partner, you can now benefit from the same support tools as the rest of Adobe Creative Suite, and can track your support cases with Adobe BC, Dreamweaver, Muse or Photoshop in a single place.
    Partners with more than 100 paid sites will get 2nd level chat support, which includes a higher priority, by default. If you have more than 100 paid sites, but spread across different Partner Portals, please ask support to enable 2nd level chat for you.
    Support experience for your Small Business owner clients can now be owned by partners (see below).
    Custom Help & Support URL for your clients
    As a partner, you are probably already offering various additional services to your clients besides building & maintaining their BC site. Support, tailored specifically to your client needs, is usually one of these value-added services. We are now enabling you to take your Support service to the next level. In  Partner Portal Settings, you have the option to set a custom URL for what will open when your client clicks on Help & Support inside Admin Console:
    If you have multiple partner accounts, for different verticals, you can specify a Support URL for each of these.
    The default Support experience provided by BC for your clients will be updated in a few releases to be similar to the partner support experience. This includes BC-branded support cases and documentation. If you'd like to keep a white-label experience for your customers, please set your own Help & Support URL in Partner Portal.

    Infrastructure updates
    Between our April release and the following infrastructure updates have been enabled
    Limited trial sites for free partners – starting with our May release, the number of trial sites a Free Partner can have will be limited to 100. Once the limit is reached, Free Partners that need to create a new trial site have the options to upgrade to a higher partner plan, upgrade some of the trial sites to paid or delete unused/expired trials.
    Automatic trial expiry extension - with this release, trial site expiry date will be automatically extended with 30 days every time an admin user logs in  the system through the admin interface or through FTP.
    Installed additional hardware - we have installed additional web servers on all our data centers, that translate into an increase of the existing capacity with over 70%.
    Updated DNS infrastructure - we have improved the DNS resolution for email delivery so that we can increase the rate at which we're sending the system operational emails
    HTTP acceleration – all sites static assets are served from a new cache engine (images, CSS and JavaScript files, together with improved headers that should allow the browser to cache them better for a browsing session). This update has been turned on along with our April release, and has made all the BC sites load faster on first and on subsequent loads.   
    Accelerated site/partner creation – we've changed the way new sites are created for faster speed, pre-creating them and reusing pre-created sites when needed, and have also improved the creation process for new partners, minimizing the impact of new CCM customers on the existing datacenters.
    Adobe ID for partners - in order to support an integrating experience between the various Adobe tools a partner may use (Dreamweaver, Muse, Support forums) we have added Adobe ID support for Business Catalyst partner accounts. Starting April 19, partners are asked to merge their current Business Catalyst account with their Adobe ID accounts. For more details about the transition process and FAQ please read the Introducing Adobe ID blog post.
    Updated Terms of Use - Along with several other changes in our processes in the past few months, we also revamped our Terms of Use and the signature process by requesting every admin user to sign a TOU. We have completed the rollout for partners, and we might be pushing an updated partner Terms of Use version within the following weeks. For more details and questions about this change, read the New Terms of Use for Business Catalyst blog post.
    Features and enhancements
    Site templates
    To support the increasing number of partners building, sharing or reusing  templates to create  new sites, we're extending our site templates support from our partner portal with a new template type and improved  management support. The update is going to enable partners to mark sites as templates and   choose between making them available in Online Business Builder and keeping them private in their partner portal. A template site will not expire and has the same limits as any other trial site.
    Based on your partner level, you can create private or public templates using the Site Details screen or the Tools>My Site Template section from your Partner Portal. Standard partners can only create private templates, while Free Partners can only view site templates that have been transferred to their accounts by other partners.
    The number of templates a partner will have will be limited and will vary based on partner level: free partners can store up to 5 templates in their partner portal, standard partners have up to 100 site templates while Premium Partners might have up to 200 templates. Paid sites marked as templates are not counted against these limits.
    Business Catalyst Partner fixes
    While we are really focused on making the Business Catalyst integration into Creative Cloud a smashing success, we are slowly resuming our efforts to deliver fixes that have been requested by our partners. This release includes the following partner fixes:
    Improved product custom fields - we have increased the maximum number of characters for product custom fields to 1024 (previous limit was 256); this gives partners and customers additional space to use when working with products
    Improved Secure Zone subscribers list - we have added the customer email address in the Secure Zone Subscribers list to enable partners better filter and manage customers
    Better experience when exporting data - to prevent customer confusion when exporting data from Mac computers, we have removed the export to excel option and exporting in CSV format by default.
    Social plugins integration updates
    Starting with our May release, we are updating the social plugins support to require users to get the plugin code from the third party provider and saving into his Business Catalyst website. The module tags and configuration will remain unchanged, but will render an empty tag until the partner or site owner will  update the module template to include the corresponding module code snippet from the third party platform provider.

    Other changes
    Updated weekly emails - Starting with our May release, the information in the site weekly emails has been filtered based on the site's plan. For example, webBasics site reports will no longer include the sales report.
    Localization - we improved and increased the coverage of the admin interface translations into German, French and Japanese
    Site Settings -> Ignored IP addresses has been relocated under Reports -> Visitors -> More.
    BC-Dreamweaver integration performance improvements
    Development Dashboard has been removed, as it didn't provide a clear useful, ongoing benefit. The information present in the development dashboard has been integrated into our new Help & Support section.
    Payment gateway settings - for more privacy and data protection, we have updated the Payment Gateway configuration screens to obfuscate the sensitive login information. Fields that have been obfuscated are now requiring confirmation.
    Report abuse badge on trial sites - for compliance reasons, a "Report Abuse" link has been added to the front-end of all trial sites of free partners that don't have any paid sites. When they click the Report Abuse link, site visitors are redirected to a form submission page on businesscatalyst.com site.

    What's next
    The first item on the what's next list might not be news for many of you, but it's definitely one of the most important milestones this year. The Creative Cloud launch is just around the corner, and Business Catalyst is playing an important role in that, as the publishing platform for Adobe® Muse and Dreamweaver. This launch will capture all our attention within the next weeks as we want it to be our best ever. 
    We'll start our next development cycle on May 15th, while the next Business Catalyst release is going to be pushed live in mid June. That being said, the following items are already on our launch plan for the next release and a few more will join the list. Please expect an update on our 2012 plans around mid May.
    HTTP throttling – all page load and API calls to BC will be protected against attacks, this might trigger problems for API heavy sites. We are looking into enabling this update along with our June release, and will help make sure that a reasonable number of requests will be accepted from the same computer per minute.
    Automatic site deletion - Starting with the June release, we are going to start automatically delete expired trial sites and canceled sites. Customers will be notified twice before we are going to proceed with deleting the sites.

    In reference to this change in the Custom Reports... Better experience when exporting data - to prevent customer confusion when exporting data from Mac computers, we have removed the export to excel option and exporting in CSV format by default.
    What is the customer confusion we are trying to stop here? I've got even more confused customers at the moment because all of a sudden they can't find the export to excel option but know it exists if they log in on a PC?

  • Feature request  for JDev in comparision with Eclipse

    In JDeveloper 10.1.3 Preview release, I see only one option to find out a resource (applies only to Java files). Eclipse supports this feature for any type of resource in Workspaces. (Ctrl+Shift+R) : You can find any resource in Eclipse but In JDev this support is only applicable to Java classes.
    Will finding any type of Resources will be implemented in production release.
    Further things which I find useful in Eclipse compared to JDev are:
    1) In Search option you can select a field or member and seacrh the refernces like Read/Write Access on a member in a java object. This is one of the most important feature I feel.
    2) Organize Imports, JDev doesn't support this. If I have a java file where imports are not proper, I have to each line and Press Alt+Enter. If I have 20 members where I didn't do import (which happens when I import a project to JDev), I have press 20 times Alt+Enter. I feel this feature should be useful to all.
    3) Object structure in Eclipse. In a Java source file, if u press Ctrl+Shift+O, Eclipse shows a the members, so I need not go to structure window to find it. If my class is a huge file, I have to scroll through.
    4) Refactoring support is still not in comparision whith Eclipse or IDeaJ like externalise strings etc...
    Looks like JDev code Assist is like hard coded Assistance. If I type "If ()" still not completed the statement, it says "Negate If statement". This really doesn't look good.
    Bug in JDev 10.1.3
    When my connection manager is active and I select a Java file in the code editor and click "Select in Navigator", JDev doesn't find it. It finds it only if System Navigator is active and the node in which Java/JSP file exists is expanded, else it reports as not found.

    You can get something even better right now: Lightroom can show Lab values if you right-click on the histogram and check "show Lab values". The L is what you want:
    (The K in Photoshop refers to whatever is set as gray working space - what the value would be if you converted the file to it. The actual readout varies according to what that working space is).

  • Auto-Deployment is not working in Eclipse - Weblogic

    I have created weblogic server instance in Eclipse.Then, I have added one project into weblogic server by using "Add/Remove Projects" menu.After I start the server , I logged into admin console and checked the deployments link. I am not finding the project listed in the list.I have selected option "Run stand alone web module directly from work space" in web logic server configuration window in eclipse.
    I am using Eclipse 3.3 and weblogic 10.0.
    I have no idea, why auto-deployment is not working.
    I would appreciate your help on this regard.I have contacted Eclipse Support, they have asked me to contact BEA team.

    Hi Prakash,
    The "Run standalone web module from workspace" doesn't publish the application to the server (instead the app is deployed to a temp location).
    This is mainly to help test the app during the development stages. If your app is complete and would like to publish to the server then you might want to try the following option
    - In Server View, double click on the configuration to launch Overview
    - Select "Copy stand-alone web module into separate deployment folder"
    - Save the configuration
    - Start the server
    The application would be deployed to the server as a WAR file.
