In App Purchase Issue

Hi - I swear I must've read 50,000,000 articles in the past few days regarding this issue but they're all just slightly not relevant enough to help me. 
Here's my issue.  I became really, really "into" this app on my iphone & decided to blow a couple of dollars.  While $10 may not seem much, especially if I was willing to spend it on a game, there's a lot more to it than that!
Ok so this game (its called Go Go Museum) did have a *bit* of technical issues, but to be honest, I had never experienced a thing even close to what many, many people right on the iTunes reviews for that app described until after my purchase.  I had played the game for a couple of weeks before ever making that in-app purchase.  So....the game works fine, occasional SNAFU, I buy in-game currency and BAM! Never works again.
In the interest of full disclosure, there was an update to the app that same day.  So it was probably that.  Crazy thing is, that "update" was supposed to be to address crashing!  Oh, it addressed it alright.  The app literally has not worked for me in 6 days.  By work i mean stay open for longer than 5 to 10 seconds at a time without shutting down.  And i have tried all the usuals. 
My thing is this: I made that in-app purchase - the app never functioned again.  I emailed the company - who for all I know do not have an English speaking representative on staff???  I dont know.  Maybe thats why they havent answered me.  In the meantime, I have tried opening the app once daily.  (uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. etc.)
I cant imagine becoming a game developer, getting published internationally & then having no way to communicate with your patrons who speak other languages (especially English, since its so common)....So maybe its not a language thing.  There are any # of things it could be. . . I just want to get my $10 back and find another thing.
It was quite the fun game - go on these little expeditions to find things to fill exhibits in a museum with.

When I mentioned how many times I've tried opening the app & say once daily, its really once daily since the first like 3 days of trying a lot.  Just FYI.

    I just purchased a In App purchase for 5500 credits, 25 Bux and a elevator upgrade pack for £2.99.  On purchasing I had to go through the verification process again which exited me from the TDS app and into App store.  The purchase went ok, but on returning to TDS it said purchase failed.
    Now I cannot repurchase as it believes I have already bought this item and suggests to redownload, but nothing has happened in app to give me these benefits.
    Can you advise on what I need to do to fix this situation?

    Ive just checked my purchase history and I have bought twice!  So  1 for the price of 2....Not so good.
    How would I go about getting the duplicate purchase refunded please?

    I tried to make an in-app purchase on my iphone- the error message I get says For Assistance contact iTunes support. Not sure what to do as I was able to make a purchase yesterday, double checked my account information and checked my settings.

  • IPad in-app purchase issues

    In app purchases were problem free until several days ago. Now I get a pop up saying iTunes connection is lost and that I should go to apple iTunes support website.  I should add that I have multiple iPads (original iPad plus a mini) and an iPhone. I've checked to make sure the in-app purchase feature is turned on, and it is on all three devices.  It's just so odd that I was able to make in app purchases fine all alone, then starting several days ago, I have been having problems. Curious to hear if anyone else noticed anything?

    It seems you cannot successfully make a purchase. Have you made sure the payment information associated with your account is up to date? The following article may help you find a resolution:

  • How to resolve itunes app purchase issues in India

    I purchased a package from DailyYoga app which I got billed for via itunes, but the package is not enabled on my ipad after 3 days of when the purchase amount showed up in my credit card. I've contacted the DailyYoga folks directly via their website as well as from my email, and haven't received any replies after 2 days. I've been trying to escalate this via itunes support, but I find that online support isn't available for India, so how do I formally complain and escalate this to Apple support in India so I can move towards resolution of the particular issue?

  • HT2589 App purchase issues please help!

    I redeemed iTunes cards and wanted to get an app. It keeps telling me I have insufficient funds in my account but I DEFINITELY have more than enough for the app I want. What do I do? It's a school computer/account through our booster club so I really don't want to enter my personal credit card info. Never had problems buying music, apparently just this app.

    Thanks so much for your help. I kinda thought that it would be included too, but It didn't say anything about tax when I tried to buy the app, nor did it list the price +tax. I live in TX and I know the tax rate for my city but I really don't know how that works, since tax rates here vary by city.  I'll keep trying, and maybe someone else has info they can share too.  Or maybe I just need to get my booster club to give me another iTunes card!

    buts it's working well in sandbox testing mode.

    After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning in-app purchase issues:
    If you don’t see your in-app purchases
    Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase. Sign in with a different Apple ID if you need to.
    Check the restrictions on your device to make sure in-app purchases are allowed.
    Check your purchase history in iTunes on your computer to make sure you were charged for the purchase.
    Restart your device.

    I made an in app purchase and the game (Happy Farm) crashed but I completed the purchase on my iPad's Home screen because the Confirm purchase window popped up before I could relaunch the game.  When I launched the game the purchase (which was Gems) was not showing so I took a screen shot of the game window showing 211 diamonds, which was the amount I started with, (the purchase was for 258 gems so my total should be 499).  I then took a screenshot of myhome screen showing the time of day.  I went back to the game repurchased the same amount, the app did not crash this time and I was credited with correct about of gems 211 +258  = 499... Took a snapshot of that screen.  went back to my home screen and took a screen shot to show the time again.  Well after sending Happy Farm all of this evidence, they responded that they gave me all the gems and I just used them all.  I don't believe that they understand that my app crashed and during the 1st transaction and I clicked the Buy button (in the Confirm purchase window) on my Home screen not in the App, got charged but did NOT recieve the gems when I relaunched the app.  I have more proof than most people and they are still calling me a liar... I need intervention from iTunes App store and I don't know how to get them to mediate this dispute. Do you know how I can get in touch with the App store?

  • New In-app purchases not showing up in multi-issue Viewer

    Hi all,
    We created a multi-issue Viewer and got that approved together with the first in-app purchase (folio).
    The app is free and downloadable from tehAppstore and the folio can be purchased from within the app as is to be expected.
    Last week however, we've uploaded three new folio's and the have all been approved by Apple last night but they are nowhere to be seen in the app.
    Is there a known delay between approval and visibility in the app?

    I'm having the same problem. Latest folio, which is 'ready for sale' as an in-app purchase and 'public/retail' in Folio Producer, is not visible on the content viewer. It was only approved by Apple last night - is there a delay?
