HT4009 In-app purchase issue

I tried to make an in-app purchase on my iphone- the error message I get says For Assistance contact iTunes support. Not sure what to do as I was able to make a purchase yesterday, double checked my account information and checked my settings.

Thanks for your help, I forgot to mention I did that - to no avail. I am new to using an iPhone --so based on this path

    I made an in-app purchase but it will not show up in the app. I tried report a problem link in the confirmation email on my ipod touch but it says it can't connect to the store. I tried the link in the email on my computer but it says it can't find itunes on computer.

    I made In-app purchase (replenishable) and app subsequently crashed and my purchased credits were lost. The 3rd party app support from Gameloft told me to get a refund from Apple. How do I get a refund from Apple?

    I'm trying to make an in app purchase after entering a credit card and a message pops up "purchase can not be completed". I've never had an an issue with this card. What can I do to fix this?

    You have a Puerto Rico address on your account ? From a quick search I've found one site from somebody in Puerto Rico that includes a screenshot for an app receipt showing tax of 7 cents added to a 99 cent purchase. Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

  • HT4009 In app purchase not allowing me to complete transaction

    I am experiencing an issue with an in app purchase.  In a game I have downloaded when I go to purchase game currency I can sometimes do so without an issue but most times after entering my password it tells me that my purchase could not be completed.  The bank account linked to the iTunes store has sufficient funds but for some reason sometimes it will allow the purchase to go through and other times it won't.

    i didn't contact them just looked through the support page. i tried it again the next day and it worked fine. weird....

    I've been repeatedly asked when making in-app purchases lately to "contact iTunes support" to complete the transactions.  I know it's not an issue with the card on file.  Does anyone know what that problem might be?

  • In App Purchase Issue

    Hi - I swear I must've read 50,000,000 articles in the past few days regarding this issue but they're all just slightly not relevant enough to help me. 
    Here's my issue.  I became really, really "into" this app on my iphone & decided to blow a couple of dollars.  While $10 may not seem much, especially if I was willing to spend it on a game, there's a lot more to it than that!
    Ok so this game (its called Go Go Museum) did have a *bit* of technical issues, but to be honest, I had never experienced a thing even close to what many, many people right on the iTunes reviews for that app described until after my purchase.  I had played the game for a couple of weeks before ever making that in-app purchase.  So....the game works fine, occasional SNAFU, I buy in-game currency and BAM! Never works again.
    In the interest of full disclosure, there was an update to the app that same day.  So it was probably that.  Crazy thing is, that "update" was supposed to be to address crashing!  Oh, it addressed it alright.  The app literally has not worked for me in 6 days.  By work i mean stay open for longer than 5 to 10 seconds at a time without shutting down.  And i have tried all the usuals. 
    My thing is this: I made that in-app purchase - the app never functioned again.  I emailed the company - who for all I know do not have an English speaking representative on staff???  I dont know.  Maybe thats why they havent answered me.  In the meantime, I have tried opening the app once daily.  (uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. etc.)
    I cant imagine becoming a game developer, getting published internationally & then having no way to communicate with your patrons who speak other languages (especially English, since its so common)....So maybe its not a language thing.  There are any # of things it could be. . . I just want to get my $10 back and find another thing.
    It was quite the fun game - go on these little expeditions to find things to fill exhibits in a museum with.

    When I mentioned how many times I've tried opening the app & say once daily, its really once daily since the first like 3 days of trying a lot.  Just FYI.

    Hi I have downloaded an app named "Car Logbook" on my iPhone but there was a upgrade in the app of Rs 110/- otherwise I could not use the full app so I upgraded it using my credit card..It says that the in app purchase is done but its not downloaded so press OK to download...I have pressed that hundreds of times but the upgrade is not yet downloaded...I tried on wifi even the app is just of 3.5 mbs but it didn't worked I restarted phone den also it didn't worked even I deleted the app and installed again but den also it didn't worked...can anybody help me on this pls...

    I've tried repeatedly to make an in app purchase on a game and it won't go through. My restrictions are turned off and other purchases are going through fine. Any ideas?

    Have you tried closing that app via your device's multitasking bar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ?
    iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
    iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with that app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

    I met s very serious problem when I purchased in APPs of CSR Racing game. And this is so rediculous which I even cannot believe that.
    On 11/11/2012 I purchasing the £2.99 gold from the in apps purchasing to get some new cars like the picture shown below. But unfortunatly, about 1 hour later, all the left gold were gone without any noticing, without any reason, without any contact.
    Does this sound right? How could Apple use such bloody greedy and un-trustable developer get onto the itunes store? This will directly affect my trust to the itunes store. This is so rediculous. Moreover, WWDC was using this program to show the iPhone 5. Does it mean currently my purchased iPhone 5 is not trustable as well?
    The developer of CSR Racing is bloody rude!!! disappointed and unpleasant experience of both itunes store and in-apps- purchasing. Maybe no more next time.
    Please carefully check all your developer!!! Using free game to gain in-apps-purchasing money. This is bloody robbing!!!!

    These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here - I've asked the hosts to remove your screenshot from your post as it contains your account id.
    If you have a problem with the app and the developer isn't replying (or not in a helpful way) then you could use the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
