    Hi,
If it is only the problem with only few carts, Check if any Short dumps are occuring in SRM as Well as in R/3.
We faced a simialr situation and observed that it was resulting in a short dump due to bad coding in one BADI.

  • What is the difference between 'Shopping cart' and 'Team cart'

    Hi,
There a knowledge about 'Team Cart' in SRM 7.0 .I want to know what is the difference between 'Shopping cart' and 'Team cart'?
       Thank you !
       best Regards

    Hi,
SRM self-service procurement and requisitioning process was generally focused on the requestor and goods recipient. SAP SRM 7.0 introduces the new 'team' approach.
    Team purchasing enables users to:
    Define their own procurement substitutes
Make shopping carts accessible to substitutes
Substitutes (team members) are able to:
Search for and take over team shopping carts
Create follow-on documents (such as confirmations) for team carts they have taken over

  • Shopping cart selection faded in sourcing

    Hello
Sometimes the shopping carts created are not able push to  the work area as the check box of the cart is faded in the worklist .When we check the status through Monitor shopping cart ,In Follow On Documents it is showing as status "Approved".How to process the shopping cart in this case ,Is there any chance of making the cart check box to enable condition.
    Thanks & Regards
    Rajan.S

If the SC is sourcing relevant it appears in sourcing cockpit of purchaser.
It is open for work area (check box editable) till the  follow-on creation has not taken place.
For self service SC (by employee) normally the follow-on is PR or PO.
After approval SRM transfers this SC to table BP_DOCUMENT_TAB with follow-on no booked.
and in BBP_PD you can see the status "item in transfer process".
clean_reqreq... programme cleans this entry and creates follow-on.
For sourcing SC (auto created by transfer of ext requirement ) sourcing follow-on like bid invitation or auction is created.

  • Backend PO not getting created inspite of Complete shopping cart

    Dear All,
We are having Classic Scenario with SRM 5.0 in integration with ECC 6.0 with support pack SAPKIBKT09.
After Shopping cart creation with all details (fixed vendor, material, price etc) still backend system doesn't create PO. It always creates PR. Wht settings are missing plz suggest.....
I understand that I have maintained under "Define objects in Backend system" as Purchase order if item data complete otherwise PR. Product categories has been transfered from backend.Document type has been created as ECPO in backend for PR and PO both.
Kindly suggest any solution or pointers....
    Thanks
    Regards
    Dinesh Singh

have you specified the backend po no range under
SRM IMG ->Supplier Relationship Management->SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges->SRM Server Number Ranges->Define Number Ranges per Backend System for Follow-on Documents
no range of POs (preferably as PO)
this interval should be defined in above step
Define Number Ranges for Shopping Carts and Follow-on Documents
this no range should match to the external no range in ECC under
IMG->Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Document Types-> the desired PO doc type in ECC
Aslo for attribute BSA yr ECC PO doc type should be available.
If you are using ECC contract as a SOS for SC item
For that coontract type in ECC the PR type should be liked in contract doc type config.
Also check the logic in BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW

  • Unable to create a PO from a shopping cart in classic scenerio

    Hi Experts,
I tried creating a PO from the Shopping cart, but i am getting an error Number range 70 doesnt exist. Whereas
when i tried creating a PO from Rfx, PO is getting created. Can somebody suggest what would have went wrong.
    Regards,
    Santhosh

    Hi Santosh,
It could be possible that the number ranges are not defined or altered. Please check the path in SPRO(in SRM) for the number range of backend follow-on-documents.
IMG : Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server-> Cross Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges-> SRM server number ranges->Define Number ranges for shopping carts and follow on documents.
Please check if number ranges are maintained properly for PO. After maintaining the details, try to push the shopping cart again. Check in RZ20 for the error details further(if it occurs again).
    Hope it helps.

  • My shopping cart number increasing everytime 2.

    Dear All,
My shopping cart number range is increasing everytime 2.
Per example as of now my shopping cart number 0000001 if i create next shopping cart nmber is coming 3.
Can you please suggest me where we have control on this
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Ravi,
I looked at Define Number Ranges for Shopping Carts and Follow-on Documents in the IMG and didn't see anything about an increment factor.  There are some BADIs, BBP_BS_GROUP_BE, is one of them, that be implemented to customize number assignments.  See if that is causing your issue.
Otherwise, unless no one else replies, it could be a bug and you might need to open an OSS message to SAP.
    Regards, Dean.

  • Need to delete PO value for a deleted shopping cart item.

    Hi SRM experts
Please help me on below mentioned issue.
I have a shopping cart with one deleted item, That deleted item shows a PO number under table BP_PDBEI field BE_OBJECT_ID in production server.
User want that PO number to be delete or clear from that shopping cart deleted item.
We are not authorize to delete or clear a entry from the SAP standard table itself.
Is there any function module, I can use directly in production server which can delete / clear this PO number from table BP_PDBEI field BE_OBJECT_ID from shopping cart deleted item
    Please help urgently.

    Hi Sharma,
normally if this PO doesn't have further follow-on documents, should be able to be deleted. Once the PO is deleted, the SC will be updated and in the follow-on document history of the SC you will see an additional remark "follow-on document deleted".
But I guess, this is not what you would like to do.
Without manual database changes you won't be able to delete the connection between the SC and PO.
If you somehow will get authority to the database changes, please don't forget to delete also the relations between PO and SC. You will find it in the tables SRRELROLES and BBP_PDBINREL.

    Peter

  • Shopping cart line items are missing while transfering from ITS to EBP

    Hi everyone
I am Raghu, working on EBP (version 2.0)
Some shopping cart line items are missing while transferring the shopping cart data from ITS to EBP.
For example in my shooping cart 4 items are there, during transferring shopping cart data from ITS to EBP all 4 items are getting updated for all the shopping cart related tables except account assignment table.
In account assignment table for this particular shopping cart only 3 items are updated and usually the first line item gets missed out.Hence the the system fails to create the follow on documents in R/3.
This is happening randomly for few of the shopping carts that too most of the cases first item of the shopping cart was not updating reqacct table(this is account assignment table for shooping cart items).
I have debugged entire scenario, but  couldn't find the cause for this..
Can any one  please advise me....why this is happening?
Your immidiate ersponse will surely help me a lot.
    Thanks,
    Raghu

  • Shopping Cart change by approver is not updating in approval preview screen

We are using SRM 4.0 in ECS and have been noticing a problem with the approval preview on the shopping cart when the shopping cart is changed or rejected by one of the added approvers.
The shopping cart was created with multiple line items for materials and when the shopping cart was ordered it workflowed to the 1st approver that was added.  He noticed that a price was wrong on one of the line items of the shopping and proceeded to change it and then approved the SC.  The approval preview screen in the SC shows that it was approved but the preview does not show that it was forwarded to the next approver listed on the preview screen.  However checking in the backend I'm showing the SC sitting in the inbox of the next approver stating: Your shopping cart 'MD D&C LL1 dvf Vetco-Subsea Wellhead Eq' was changed/rejected in part. Please check.
Why isn't the approval preview updating when the SC is rejected or changed?

    hi,
This  behaviour of the system is as follows , when the first approvers makes the changes and then approves the cart , it will go to the requestor of the shopping cart , and wether the workflow should restart --->
depends on the security level of the approver who is changing the cart -->
you can find the security level of the approver --> in the transaction SU01 ---> persononalization tab ---> key bbp_wfl_security
and the text you have mentioned --->
Your shopping cart 'MD D&C LL1 dvf Vetco-Subsea Wellhead Eq' was changed/rejected in part
this is for the requestor of the cart ---> this is mail which specifies that the first approver has partially approved the cart.

  • Object: Error on Shopping Cart creation (BBPSC02)

    Hi all,
While adding an item to a Shopping Cart, the following error is occurring:
    Error when processing your request
    What has happened?
The URL https://srm.test.corp:8005/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc02/~flNUQVRFPTIwMzA1LjAwNC4wMy4wMQ== was not called due to an error.

The error occurred on the application server sapsrmt_EST_00 and in the work process 1 .

Going into the ST22, as Error Analysis it is suggested:
“As a test, you can set the service parameter ~generateDynpro = 1. The system then generates the HTML page for this service without a template. You can then at least see which screen was sent by the WebAs. Make sure to reset the parameter to its original value.”
Adding this parameter, the transaction is working properly, but is asking User ID and password to connect to the back-end (that seems strange to me!).
A similar error (with different functions involved) is occurring while clicking on “Settings”: user settings are not visualized, but also changing the service parameter ~generateDynpro = 1, the transaction is working.
Any idea on where is the problem?
    Thanks in Advance,
    #Bill J.
