In Sales Order form populate charges field after saving the Sales Order

Can we populate Charges field in Sales Order form after saving the sales Order automatically.
The charges to be calculated based on the amount entered and the item selected in Sales Order.
In the Manual process it is done by hitting the Actions Button and then select the Charges.
The charge type would be "Freight Costs"

by using process_order API, I am able to update the charges field.

    Did you look for OSS notes on application area CRM-BF-PD? Depending on your CRM version, for example the following may fix your issue:
    Note 1035901 - Partner determination not complete at item level
    Note 716349   - Missing partner functions in the partner dropdown listbox

    PS: I'm assuming that you are talking about missing partner functions in the corresponding field... and not that you are expecting the system to redetermine partner functions automatically after the order was saved (which is standart behavior).

    Our client is using SAP Business One 2007 A(8.00.181) SP 00 PL 47, When they raise Purchase Order for service item, the details and amount disappears automatically after adding the document and similar case for Good Receipt PO. But when they book directly in AP invoice the details and amount will appeared.So please help on solution for the above problem.

    Dear Mr Burton,
    If I understood correctly you cannot see the information inside the document you added. This made me think that it is a GUI issue.
    In the second answer you specified that when you try to open it again you'll receive the error message saying that there is no total value or total and I assume there is no information in the document.
    I believe the second issue is a consequence of the first one.
    I was suggesting to open a message on the portal (the message that requires the S number from the partners) in order to investigate the issue better.
    However, as you have an error message that pinpoints to certain fields it could be possible to see the information in the tables. Do you have this information?

    Hi,
    You can maintain source list Tcode ME-01 and make it MRP relevant by selecting Sorce list MRP relevant. In sorce list you can maintain vendor and material data valid for particular period and make it MRP relevant.
    With this you can automatically generate purchase order from Purchase requisitions after MRP Run.

  • Adobe Form is not opening after saved the form locally

    Hi Experts,
    I have implemented the adobe form using webdynpro java using ACF. The scenario is initially the form is loading with input fieIds and dropdown boxes after that the form data has to be submitted into backend.
    I have encountered the problem that if i save the submitted form into locally and trying to open the form its not opening.
    The server and other details are:
    NetWeaver     - 7.00(2004s) SPS3
    Adobe reader - 9.0
    ADS vesion    - 7.01
    Please let me know if you have any idea.

    1). If i will convert the forms from ACF to ZCI capability. Suppose if I want to fall back from ZCI to ACF forms then what is the solution for that?
    Well you won't need to go back to ACF as such but if you want to then may be you can keep take backup of all forms.
    2).After conversion of the forms to ZCI capability then what are the necessary steps i need to follow like abode form ui elements can be changed to webdynpro native ui elements type like that.
    The Report generally mentions all the items in yellow/red for things to work on but yes if you have used ACF Controls you just need to update it by Native controls. From Web Dynpro form properties change the displayType property to native as well.

  • Price to be changed in the service activity after saving the purchase order

    I am doing sap project system implementation in power project. I am creating the service activity and giving unplanned services as 1000 rupees and released the project. The purchase requisition is converted to purchase order and the purchase order no is generated.
    now the price of service activity is 1500 rupees and i want to edit the service activity price and in the project system price is greyed and it is not able to edit.
    So pls help me how can i do edit of the price and change it in the purcahse order.

    The above query which i mentioned is of using unplanned services and what ever the price i edit in purchase order is not reflected in the network activity.
    If it updates in tne network activity then my planned cost should change and at present it is not changing in my project.
    so please suggest me how to get the cost updated in the network activity.

    Hi Sameer,
    If you want to change the name or description of the field in the Sales order,
    you have to use the userexit MV45AFZZ and use the Form USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION.
    Get the help of the ABAPer and decide where do you want to make the change in the Header or the Line items.  Accordingly give the requirements to the ABAPer.
    He will do it.

  • Rename the Field Label  in the sales order application.

    Hi,
              Please suggest me how to rename one of the field name in the sales order application.
            I have add a new field called YOUR_REF_SHIP and simultaneously have to  rename it from your reference to Carrier Account No. this field  is available in the filed group SLO_DETAILS_GENERAL1.
             This field is located in the General data tab of the sales order application.
    I have created the Text Key in the Define Interface Texts and used the same text key in the Rename Field Label, but it is not working.
    and i dont want to change it with the CMOD transaction.
    Please suggest me where i have went wrong.

    Hello Anil,
    The field groups are to be regenerated.
    However, I have done a similar thing and in the past, the layout generation helped me. In the recent example, the name is not reflected as per the interface text.
    Let me know if you find anything on this.

  • Field missing in the sales order.

    Hi Experts,
    We have notification for which the sales orders are created.
    Whenever some changes are made in the notification they get reflected in teh sales order once u open it an save it again.
    But this time when we made some changes on the notification and hence opened and saved the sales order along with reflecting the changes in the sales order as per the notification one crucial field got cleared.
    But we are not able to trace how is this field getting cleared.
    We have tried creating new sales orders and again tried the same changes  but this time no field got cleared and everything is fine.
    But the original sales order still have the field blank which is important.
    Please advice.

    The copying controls are same as for other notifications.
    We have tried creating sales orders without changing the copy controls. But this prob has not occurred with the sales orders we are creating now. But the prob that has occured in case of original sales order still persist.

    Here is what I have done:
    As taken from another post:
    Choose Forms > Manage Form Data > Merge Data Files Into Spreadsheet.
    In the Export Data From Multiple Forms dialog box, click Add Files.
    In the Select file Containing Form Data dialog box, select a file format option in File Of Type option (Acrobat Form Data Files or All Files). Then locate the form files that you want to merge into the spreadsheet, select them, and click Select.
    Repeat the previous step to add form data files that are in other locations, as needed.
    Click Export. Then select a folder and filename for the spreadsheet, and click Save.
    In the Export Progress dialog box, click either View File Now to open the spreadsheet file or Close Dialog to return to Acrobat."
         The problem now is that Adobe populates Excel in ABC order of the form, based off of the name of each box in the form. For example, if my form has three text boxes, named A, B, and C, then Adobe will export to Excel as such:
    Row 1 =         A                              B                              C
    Row 2 =         data entered             data entered              data entered
    where 'data entered' is whatever the user typed into the form boxes. But what if I want a different order for exporting, and I don't want to rename my text boxes? What if I want:
    Row 1 =         C                              B                              A
    Row 2 =         data entered             data entered              data entered   ?
    Is there a way to do this in acrobat x or xi?

    I don't have time to test right now, but there was a change with Acrobat 10 where it exports according to the tab order, which you may have to set manually, so give that a shot. Otherwise, you'll have to process the file after it's exported if you need the fields in a particular order. This wouldn't be too difficult to do with something like a VBS or JS script in Windows.

  • Error getting when saving the sales document in third party sales order

    in third party sales order,when i am saving the sales order i am gettingthe following error
    subsequent function 'purchase requistion from sales document' not possible due to credit block.earlier i have maintained credit checks for some customers,but for this customer i have not maintained any credit check. i dont know why system is blocking for this customer also.pls help me where i went wrong.

    Please go to FD32, check any default risk category and credit limit is maintained for the customer.
    Also check OB45, any default risk category & credit limit is maintained for the credit control area.
    Also, which order type u r creating sales order? for that order type, Goto VOV8, remove the credit grp and credit check settings.
    Also goto XD02, check in sales area data, billing tab, credit control area field, please remove that also.
