Inbound processing is not happening for XMG integration

Currently our project deals with B2B and XMG integration
We are able to send outbound messages to B2B from XMG successfully.
For Inbound messages
1. B2B is picking up payload
2. Identifying Agreement
3. Decrypting and verifies digital signature
but could not deliver the message to ECX_INQUEUE

Kindly check the following steps for automatic batch determination.
1. First check the material is maintained with batch in the warehouse management.
2. Maintain new entry for search procedure for batch determination with the new created doc type.
3. Maintain new entry for automatic batch determination for sales order or automatic batch determination for delivery ( This depends on the business process of our client, whether they want to determine the batch with sales order or at the delivery level. check this and make new entry)
4. Create Batch using T.code MSC1N with proper date of manuf. and SLED.
5. Create Batch Search Strategy using T.code VCH1 with proper strategy type.
6. Maintain stock with active batch. check this with t.code LS26 or LS24.

Process chain Error: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS

Hi All,
I am facing an error in the process chain in PRD.
Error message: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS.
We had a process chain which had two sub chains which run parallel and below of this we had AND process type and below of the AND process we had 4 more jobs.
Once the two subchains got successfully loaded, the and process should turn to green and further 4 jobs should start.
It is a daily load , it worked fine from past years,but suddenly the AND processtype is getting failed.The thing is in the two subchains if one got completed, the AND process process is not waiting for 2nd subchain to get completed.The AND process is turning to RED (status: cancelled) . I tried to repeat the AND process once after above 2 subchains loaded, but it didnt worked.
And i removed the existing AND process and created a new one and placed it in same place and activated and schedules again.but still it is getting failed with same error.

If you did any transports related to that metachain we face similar kind of issues.
not only the AND process , we need to remove all the process before executing the AND process and create it again.

Mapping Error: Mappings are not required for this Integrator

Hi,
when I created my upload integrator with the Desktop Integrator Manager (12.1.2) I am not able to attach a mapping to it. I get the following error:
Mapping Error: Mappings are not required for this Integrator because the ability to download information has not been enabled.
Does anyone know what I've missed?

Without creating the content if you are trying to do mapping this error will come.

Method 'PROCESS' is not defined for object type 'BUS2081'

Hi All,
I am using a workflow for incoming invoice approval using WS20001004. I prepared one version for this. The standard business methos bus2081 i delegated to zbus2081. Here i placed one decision step for reject or approve. In the same task in inbox i can see the document i can see as attachment. Now the issue is after seeing the attachment when i click on task in my inbox it status is changed to red and i can not process it further.In log i can see the error like Method 'PROCESS' is not defined for object type 'BUS2081'. This method i do not have in standard or in delegated one. I was struck here. Pleas help in this.

"Here i placed one decision step for reject or approve." if your workitem is based on standard user decision step type of workflow, then the business object in underlying task should be 'DECISION' and method should be 'PROCESS'. I think in the task you have put your custom business object instead of business object 'DECISION'. This could be the reason you are facing error.

AD SSO not happening for Remote Users

Dear Members
I am having an issue with the NAC Deployment for Remote users (Users behind WAN Router)
Windows AD SSO (2008) is happening for LAN users successfullly, however remote users
are not able to do AD SSO.
it is ensured that remote users even in unauthenticated state can reach Active directory. there is no filtering
on any of the device across the path, for this communication.
When i use Kerbtray on the remote PC, i found no tickets at all.(i am logged in thru Domain)
what could be going wrong, is it delay (as they are wan user) which might attribute this issue, and if so, where are the needed parameters that can be tuned for AD SSO to happen.
Any help will ne highly appreciated.

As long as ALL the policies in Table 8-1 are configured for the Unauthenticated Role

the CAS should be out of the picture for what concerns the communication between the PC and Kerberos.
If the Kerbtray.exe output for a failing user is empty, it means that the unsuccessful users do not have any Service Ticket (ST) at all.
This points to an issue with AD (considering the fact that the CAS is already allowing all the traffic to/from AD).
The failing users are either unable to send the Ticket-Granting Ticket (TGT) to AD, or they are unable to obtain the Service Ticket (ST) from AD.
The CAS during this phase is neither performing any actions nor blocking any traffic, since all the communications to/from AD are already fully open in the unauthenticated role.

I am using Stand alone Workflow 2.6, In my workflow process
which is an Issue tracking system which is working fine. On Enhancement I would like to create my own RE-ASSIGN function which will, Change the ownership of an issue totally to other user.
For this I Created a package(CHANGE_OWNER.CREATE)which will show list of Users and Comment field(Just like Re-Assign).
Here user can pick other user, and add comment,
once submit for that Item key I am updating the workflow notification table so that paritcular issue ownership will be changed.
In my workflow process I created a lookup code called "Change Owner". On click of Change Owner it will call the Function
in workflow process which will call CHANGE_OWNER.CREATE, here
the workflow process supposed to wait and get the User to be
changed. BUT THE PROCESS IS NOT WAITING, IT JUST DISPLAYED THE
SCREEN AND CONTINUED THE WORKFLOW PROCESS. I WANT THE MY
WORKFLOW PROCESS TO BE ACT AS RE-ASSINGN BUTTON WHICH WILL WAIT
FOR THE USER INPUT.

What enhancements were you adding to the Workflow Reassign/Delegate feature, which included being able to add comments? A good idea is to look for any differences between how workflow implements the reassign feature, and your customization.
Also, make sure you only use the Public documented PL/SQL APIs and do not update the tables directly to ensure no Support or Upgrade Issues.

Archive is not happening for Sales Order

Hello Friends,
I want to archive sales order but it is not happening.
Following is scenario.
I have completed sales order cycle till amount posting
va01-vl01n-PGI-vf01-f-28
and document flow has shown it is done but still when i am running report S3VBAKPTS it shows document can not be archived billing document is not complete.
Help me for the same

once the subsequenat document created for a sales order, you cannot archive that sales order.

Balance carry forward not happening for new entity

Hello Gurus,
We added mid 2009 a new entity to be consolidated.
The balance carry forward assigns the last year results to retained earnings, this is the same accross all entities.
When executing the task in the monitor, there is no error message but it does no work, results end-up on a difference elimination item.
For all other entities, it works fine.
I wonder if there is a configuration that I overlooked.

So you are saying that for all other consolidation units, the Balance CarryForward (BCF) was successful?
but for only one unit is was not successful?
- I suggest to you that one of the following has occurred;
1. there is no data against the balance sheet items for that unit (go to totals records to confirm YTD balance last year for all Balance Sheet items for that cons unit)
2. there is only data against a specific item that has been set to carryforward to the "elimination" item that you mentioned (check the BCF items to be carried forward confgiuration)
3. there is only data against Balance Sheet items that have been configured NOT to be carried forward (check the BCF config)
4. you have configured some items incorrectly as Item Type; Income Statement or Statistical instead of Balance Sheet.
5. You have missed the consolidation unit from the hierarchy for p1, 2010 (please also check the combinations if it is a matrix consolidation unit) so the BCF is not running for that unit at all
Checking these 5 should get you closer to the answer

Workflow process does not complete for 3500 but works for about 10 records

Hi Gurus,
I am a novice in workflow. Pls bear if the questions are very basic.
We have a old custom workflow process which is inistaed by a PL/SQL procedure
WF_ENGINE.CreateProcess ---
WF_ENGINE.StartProcess ---
COMMIT; ---
Now this process has run for over 6-7 years but has always processed max upto 8 or 10 records at a time. Now we had about 4000 records in a table and the process was running for more than 4 days now and it has been termiinated.
I could not see any new item_keys. Is it because we have a commit only at the end.
This process has 3 sub processes. they are connected by 'AND' and then we have an 'End' node.
The first sub-process is simple and we can see a record in wf_items .
Howver no records are there in wf_items for the 2nd and 3rd sub processes.
How can we check the point where it has hanged. Querying Status monitor just gives the first sub-process that has completed. How to debug for these cases.
This has always worked for small volumes. Now we have about 4000 records and we face this problem
The process actually checks data from the table and based on some conditions , it send 5 different notifications to 5 different mail groups. So we expect about 4000*5 mails to be sent.
Any help is welcome.

Please check the following:
1. Since this is pure PLSQL you can have a SQL script where you enable a database event to get a trace and then run tkprof on the output to spot any performance problem. You can use something like:
alter session set tracefile_identifier='Background' max_dump_file_size='unlimited' events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
begin
wf_engine.CreateProcess(...);
wf_engine.StartProcess(...);
end;
commit;
alter session set events '10046 trace name context off';
select fnd_debug_util.get_trace_file_name() tracefile from dual;
2. Do you happen to know if WF runtime tables are being purged regularly? If this is not done you can expect serious performance problems. If this is WF Apps embedded you need to clean data using the concurrent request Purge Obsolete Workflow runtime data, if not then you can use the APIs in package WF_PURGE.
3. You will only find one record in WF_ITEMS for this process if those sub-processes belong to the same item type

Basic Pay Split not happening for Mid Month Joining

Hi Gurus,
I am facing a problem running a payroll where the employee who is hired at the middle of the month the net pay should be half. But in my case the employee is getting a full month pay.
I have Hired an employee on 20th of February.
Planned working Time Status "0" No time Evaluation
My Payroll Area is Monthly
The Payroll Period is 25th to 24th of next month
Pay date is 27th
I am running payroll on 24th Feb the RT displays the net payable amount for the full month instead of 5 days Payment which is from 20 Feb to 24 feb.
I have set the start dates in the following infotypes 0000, 0001, 0002, 0007, 0008 as Start Date: 20th February current year.
I have assigned all my wage types the following Processing class:
PRCL 1 Specification 3 WType included in valuation basis /001 and /002
PRCL 10 Specification 1 Reduction with factor /801
And PRCL 30 and 41 also are assigned appropriate specifications.
Please guide how can I do it.

Thanks Surisetti I resolved myself..if you could throw some light as the amount is not being calculated exactly..
The month has working hrs 192.
the amount in /001= 66 and /002=52
The base salary is 10000 SAR
and the TSSOLL= 39.5 for days from 20 Feb to 24 Feb
So, Amount will be calculated /001 mutilply TSSOLL i.e (66 X 39.5)or
/002 Mutiply 39.5 i.e (52 X 39.5)
How would that be calculated...
In general when base is 10000 SAR and monthly working hrs are 192
10000 Divide by 192 is equal to 52 which is exactly equal to /002
and now worked hrs in period 20 feb to 24 feb are 39.5
So, basic should be (52 X 39.5)= 2,057 SAR
The amount calculated in system is different ...could u please throw some light why its not calculating exact amount to be paid..

Proper stock transfering not happening for intercompany

Hi Friends,
When I executed the scenario of procure to pay using replenishment for intercompany am getting the proper result step by step in IDES for standard document type (NB for PO).
Now I have created my own document type for PO and have assigned it to sites and sales area.
With standard document type (NB PO)
After executing replenishmenmt run I am getting standard PO type (NB) say xxxxxxxxx.
Now I created outbound delivery-->then picking and PGI. Now my stock is got reduced from supplying DC (say by 5 nos) and this stock is now under transit (can check thru MB5T). and total stock is also decreased by 5 nos.
Now to move this stock to receiving store I did GR against delivery and now after this stock in store is increased by 5 nos and hence total stock is also increased by 5 nos.
Now after checking MB5T i found there is no stock in transit.
Now I have tested this scenario for my own document type (say std PO type A)
Now std PO type A is successfully generated after executing replenishment run thru WRP1.
Now I created delivery then picking then PGI. Now I checked and found that stock from supplying DC is decreased by (say 5 nos) and stock in receiving store is increased by 5 nos in one shot and I could not find any stock in transit since its happening in one shot .
Now I need ur inputs if i am missing something becoz it shud happen in two parts first after doing PGI stock shud decrease from supplying DC (say for 5 nos)and that stock shud come under stock under transit (can check in MB5t) and that stock from transit shud go to receiving store once i will do GR against delivery.
Any pointers.

It seems that for your Site for the stock transfer order the "One-step Stock transfer" is ACTIVE. kindly remove the same and u will have the desired result.

Collection not happening for "missed cycles"

I'd seen a post back in Jan 5, 2008 by "WoofaJB" regarind the collection
cycle.
To quote: "When the Client connects to its assigned Collection Server
(set in a reg entry) it checks in. The server then works out if the
machine has completed a scan during that collection cycle (made up of
start date/time and duration) and if not then the server queues it up
for a scan. If the server is bus it may not send a scan command for a
while."
Well, that doesn't seem to be happening.
Collection is set By Week
Start Time of 1/1/2000 (currently end date shows 8/28/08)
Every 1 week on Thursday
Duration:
Scan for 1 Days
machine was last scanned on 7/18/08
But it's been powered on many times since then, just not on Thursdays.

If collection is done weekly, on Thursdays, and the duration is set to one day max, and if that workstation isn't powered up on Thursdays, then it will not be scanned. The workstation must connect to, and register with, a Collection Server during the scan duration to be queued for a scan. The Collection Server doesn't track down each workstation to see how long it's been since the last scan; it trusts that you're serious about the scan duration and won't perform scheduled scans outside that duration "slot".
To get that workstation to scan, you'll need to either ensure that it's connected on Thursdays or broaden the scan duration to include a time when that workstation actually is powered up.
