Include Attachments Option with E-Mail Notifications

Under Options > E-Mail Notifications in addtion to "include submitted data" and "include empty fields" it would be nice to have a check option for "include attachments."
We have clients who occasionally attach photos to our forms.  It would streamline productivity to have the option to receive the attachment via the e-mail notification instead of a requirement to log in to forms central and download the file seperately.
Thank you.

For some reason, the system won't let me create a new Idea.  I've tried submitting a few times and I get the following error message when I try to submit:
"It appears you're not allowed to view what you requested. You might contact your administrator if you think this is a mistake."
I have submitted ideas in the past, I'm not sure why I can't now.
Thanks,
Ryan

  • "Include Attachments" option in Mail Save As... Dialog doesn't work

Back in the day (Lion) the "Include Attachments" check box in the Mail Save As... dialog used to save mail attachments along with the text as .RTFD.  Sometime in the past this changed, and now (Mavericks) the only affect of checking that box is that the extension of the saved file changes from .RTF to .RTFD, but the saved file remains identical, with only the text and no attachments.  Surely this is a bug.  Is there now any way to save an email as RTFD with the attachments?
I'm bringing this up again since the previous thread on the subject was archived back in 2012 without any comprehension.  Time for a revisit.

  • Include an image in e-mail notification

    Hello,
I would like to include an image (our company’s logo) in an e-mail notification generated with a workflow… do you have any idea about how I can do that?
    Cheers

Its not possible - not even in R17. CRMOD has to start supporting HTML formatting for this to occur, as of now i have not heard when that is in the roadmap

  • Attachments visible with internet mail, but not with Mail.app

Others have written before about this question, but I don't find a satisfying answer (that would have to come from the Apple people themselves). I received emails that contained several attachments (pdf files), as visible from the size of the messages and the raw source, but only one or two of the attachments showed in the Mail application (version 4.5), and sometimes there was even no body text. I was puzzled and went to the web application of my provider to look at the same messages. EVERYTHING was there! so I decided to transfer the messages again to myself, and miraculously everything was there as well in Mail.app.
Now, is this a weakness of Mail.app, a wrong use of attachments by the sender or what else? Anyway, it is annoying, because I wonder how many attachments I have never seen.
Does anyone know of a solution, please?

Okay, I found the answer if anyone is having the same problem. The Mail POP settings on the Mac for the various Accounts I had were outdated. They were just for Dial-Up. Here is the link for the entire ATT page that deals with High Speed and iPhone connections, and the part in particular that helped me get it going.

Note: If you are using Mac OS 10.x, set up Mac OS X Mail to access your AT&T Worldnet Service e-mail.
    E-mail Settings:
    Mail Server Type: POP3
    Incoming Mail (POP): ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
    Outgoing Mail (SMTP): imailhost.worldnet.att.net
Note: If you are using Netscape Mail, enter your other ISP's outgoing e-mail server. If you are not sure what the SMTP server name is, contact your non-AT&T Worldnet Service ISP.
Ensure that the option My server requires authentication is checked.
User name or POP name: Enter the full e-mail address in the User Name field. For example: [email protected] or [email protected]
Ensure that the option Always connect to this account using is selected, and Local Area Network is chosen from the drop-down menu on the Connections tab.
Ensure that secure connection (SSL) is enabled and set to port number 465 for SMTP.
Ensure that secure connection (SSL) is enabled and set to port number 995 for POP3.

  • Problem with voice mail notification after 8107.79...

i have a nokie lumia 800 and there was an update of the OS to 8107.79 from une, when i updated my phone, there were problems i have encountered, first was the voice mail notification. I did not subscribe myself to my network providers voice mail service (since they dont have that service as well) but there was a notification on my phone about a voice mail to which i wonder how did i get a notification when i dont even have a voice mail account.
Second was the lights at the three buttons below the screen, it does not illuminate on most of the time.
    Has anyone encountered these problems?

Not sure about the voicemail thing but 8107 shouldn't affecting the buttons at the bottom of the phone that issue arose afte 1500 firmware update from Nokia.
If you have your display set to auto then the the buttons will light up normally.

  • Clients don't recieve JPG-attachments sent with Yosemite Mail

I am a graphic designer and I used Lokiware's Attachment Tamer prior to Yosemite. Now that the software is not available für this version of mail (and it seems doubtful that it ever will be) I went back to using Mail without it.
Ever since, some of my clients (using PCs) don't seem to be able to recieve attachments in JPG-Format from me. They just don't show up at their end, as if I wouldn't have attached them in the first place. Putting the files in an ZIP is a workaround, but a very clumsy and frustrating one.
Other file formats, such as PDF show up just fine.
For a few other clients it still works.
I haven't found anything online about this behaviour. Any others who experienced the same problem? Did anyone find the cause & a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But if you think the problem is with Outlook being used to recieve my emails, I am pretty certain that can't be the whole story either. The only problem prior to Yosemite was attachments being embedded instead of attached (which is why i started using Attachment Tamer). But now the attachment are completely missing. This sounds like a different problem.
Each version of Outlook has its own bug that prevents viewing attachments (or retrieving them).
It also can be some coincidental change on the servers at either end.
Either your email provider or your recipient's email provider may be stripping them.
Can you view your sent mail on your Email server's web portal? If so, see if the attachment is intact there.
Did you uninstall Attachment Tamer? Just wondering if there might be some lingering code doing something weird.

  • Sudden trouble with Apps/Mail/Notifications

Hello everyone, I was hoping you guys might know whats up with my Touch 5 and why it's acting weird. I've had it for a about a year now and never had any real problems with it until now. Also, I'm not particularly tech-savvy, so if these problems sound like part of a more obvious problem, let me know because I probably haven't thought of it.
Anyways, I'm having trouble with a couple of apps (Facebook and Text+), as well as the standard email app. When I open them, all I get is a sort of blank page in the style of each app (Facebook has a blue bar at the top with a blank page, text+ is just green, etc). Sometimes the apps crash and return me to my home screen, sometimes they just stay locked in that sort of "loading screen" until I exit via the home button. I thought I'd delete/re-download the apps, but when I press the "X" on the app icon, the apps just continue to shake and I can't get them to stop. The power/home buttons do nothing, I can't swipe the screen, nothing. Eventually it just goes black for a second and then reboots on the lock screen without deleting the app (so back to square one, basically). I also tried to figure it out in the app/mail area of the settings, but clicking either app/mail in the settings just makes it lock up again until I press the home button, so that's another dead end.
The other problem I've noticed over the past day is that my notifications haven't been working as well in the apps that DO work, like twitter/KIK/snapchat. They still come through when the iPod is in sleep mode, but they usually take a minute to actually appear in the app (particularly twitter). I didn't know if this could be related to the problems I mentioned above.
So that's it. I'm open to any sort of help you may be able to offer. I can deal without Facebook and Text+ for a while, but the Email thing is troubling, and I'm worried that this is just the start of a bigger problem of some kind. Anyways, thanks in advance for any help, I look forward to your suggestions.

How can it be a bug, when you use the test button it works?
Have you got the [email protected] in the schedule for the user?

If you've set up your googlemail account ok, you need to change you profile settings..
Goto; Menu | Profiles | Select General | Personalise... and scroll down to E-mail alert tone...press centre button and then select the tone you want...
    presto...

  • Include the option to receive automatic notifications by email

Great updates made to the new version of Acrobat.com!
I would love to see the addition of automatic email notifications as an option when participating in a collaborative project on Acrobat.com. For example, if I am reviewing a design proof in CS Review, I would like to turn on a "subscription" or "email updates" option for that project so that I can get an email when a new comment, request or proof is posted in the workspace.
An alternative could be to allow a reviewer the option of Acrobat.com sending an automated email notification to participating members of a workspace, when he or she posts a comment, request or new content.
I look forward to seeing this option implemented in your next update.

This is really a must-have option. I was amazed it didn't have this!
Not having it is a real weakness, hamstringing the practical use of CS review.

  • Trouble With E-Mail Notifications

I'm having some problems getting e-mails to my pager. I have two e-mails set up:
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
When I test the two e-mail addresses, I receive the e-mail. However, when an alert is encountered, email is only sent to the first e-mail. I deleted the first e-mail, but I still can't get the e-mail.
Is the a bug perhaps have trouble with ".page".
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • EA3/EA2 - Disappearing "Include Synonyms" option with Conn Pane Filtering

Just ran into an annoying bug with the filtering on Tables, Views, etc on the connection pane. If you clear the filter, the "Include Synonyms" check box disappears until you restart SQL Developer. This bug was in v25.14, fixed in the following version, but has obviously been reintroduced somehow.

No response on this, but still doing this in EA3 - is it possible to reintroduce the fix that was in the version after v25.14 but has subsequently been lost?

  • Include HTML file to E-Mail Notification body GRC AC 10.0?

    Hello Experts,
i have already created an own email notification tempate and i'm trying to edit the body by using TA SE61. Within this transaction i see only very limited possibilities to change the text formatting (only given styles). During some tests and i saw the possibility to download the template as a html file.
    to my question:
is there any opportunity to upload a html file to the email notification instead of using the ms word formatting (not ITF /RTF/ ASCII)?
or is it possible to change color, size (except using styles) of the text or add tables to the body etc?  and if its possible how do i change it within the ms word editor?
    Thank you in advance !!!

    Hello Alessandro,
yes sure. For explanation: i retained all HMTL tags, because it didnt work either without.
I also deleted all my content and inserted the code of Sai. Additionally i tried only <strong> text </strong> but again without any results.

  • UDF - e-mail notification with attachments?

Hello,<BR><BR>We make considerable use of the e-mail sending UDF, to notify us of calc finishing, etc. While this works well, we'd really like to be able to include attachments in the e-mails (as opposed to just including a link to the files), as well.<BR><BR>It doesn't seem that the dev.hyperion.com UDF allows for this. • I Have No Voice Mail Notifications In Z10 Hub

I have seen issues with Voice Mail Notifications in various threads, but I didn't see one having No Voice Mail Notifications In the Z10 Hub at all. Sorry if I missed a thread that applies.
From what I was told by Blackberry Technical Support, at the bottom of the BB Hub next to "Calls", "Emergency Alerts" and "PIN", should be "Voice Mail" (or something similar). I have none and therefore do not get any notifications when I receive a Voice Message. I thought this was odd, and figured I had some settings incorrect, but that is not the case. It's just not there.
I am in the USA on Verizon's network with the latest updated OS 10.1.0.2039 that they offered on a STL100-4, Z10.
    Anyone else have this issue?

My wife had the same issue on her Z10.
A quick call to customer service at AT&T and they set it up.
Rebooted her phone, and all was well.
I'm sure Verizon customer service can do this for you as well.
    Hope this helps.
    Sincerely -
