Income statement report ????

Hello all,
I am working on getting an income statement report...
My revenue elements are coming from table GLT0 and the expense accounts are coming from COEP table... So i am using the 0fi_gl_6 DS and CO_OM_CO_9 DS for the report...
The KF in the FIGL DS is cumulative balance and in CO_OM_CO_9 is amount...
If you look at the bex query report...when I'm defining the columns I have to restrict the KF to only one KF...but here i need to get data from 2 KF's , *** balance for revenue elements and Amount for expense elements ??
Any solutions for this ???

Question:  In developing an income statement, why are your revenues being developed via multiple datasources?  You should be able to use the GL ds to deliver all necessary data. 
The revenue postings should be represented via the "revenue" gl accounts, and the expense postings should be represented via the "expense" gl accounts. 
If your R/3 FI team has configured the Financial stmt version (R/3 GL account hierarchy), you should be able to extract it into BW using the standard ds's.
Thereafter, you can use keyfigure 0BALANCE (for cumulative balance) and 0SALES (for period activity).

    Hi,
      As this is for your learning purpose, create the fields as per your requirement. Then create info objects of the same type in BI. Then you try to load the info cube from the flat file.
    for example: if my req is to have 4 fields like student name, marks, grade as my info objects. i have create the same fields in the flat file.
    Note: you can create the flat file in excel and save it as csv format.

    I'm trying to enhance an existing Income Statement Report (table GLPCT) by adding the PLAN (table GLPCP) columns. Right now, PLAN columns has no data when I execute it.
    Report Layout:

    Report Writer functions can be accessed from within the Report Painter.
    The difference lies in the GUI of the report painter.

  • Balance Sheet/Income Statement Report using SSRS

    I am trying to create a balance sheet, income statement report using ssrs. Due to lack of experience, I am seeking some help from someone who has already built one. For the report I am trying to built, the data isn’t readily available
    in a master/detail format. I need to connect to an Oracle DB, run one or more stored procedures (in Oracle) to put data in a temporary/run-time table (reporting table) and read that data to create the financial statement.
    Any help or guidance would really be appreciated.

    Adding to Vishal's reply, before we can connect an Oracle data source, the system administrator must have installed the version of the .NET Data Provider for Oracle that supports retrieving data from the Oracle database. This data provider must be installed
    on the same computer as Report Builder and also on the report server. To retrieve data from an Oracle database, we can use Oracle or OLE DB data source type. For more details about the connection string, please see the following document:

    Which SAP object are you using to track location?
    Is it a plant?
    If so, you can create a business area for each plant and assign the business are to the plant.
    Financial Statement will be possible using the Business Area.

  • Cost Center Missing in Income Statement Report

    Hello Gurus,
    At this moment we are facing a critical situation. We are currently running a Custom report which is based upon a Custom Multiprovider. The Multiprovider gets the data from a remote infocube, a virtual infocube and four info objects(All Custom). The remote infocube is based upon the datasource 0FI_GL_10. We are currently having the 34 Cost Centers configured. The end users can see only 12 Cost Centers in the report. How can i resolve this issue??

    Please check on authorizations for the users in question. Are all the users facing the same issue? Is it just one user group having issues or all the groups that have access to this report/data-provider? To eliminate authorization issues, Tcode RSECADMIN>Execute as User (your user name)> Check 'With Log' option-->Check RSRT option 'Possible Transactions' and Execute. Enter your query name and execute. Come back to RSECADMIN and check the logs. Select all authorization relevant options and check for logs. Repeat the process for different users. See if the authorizations vary with users.

    Hi,
    I am not very clear with your question. Can you please elaborate on what are you looking for.
    Basically, there are 4 different types of ACCTYPE (property of account type dimension) - INC, EXP, AST, and LEQ.
    INC and LEQ are stored as negative, whereas EXP and AST are stored as positive.
    INC and EXP type of accounts will always display you the periodic value (when the measure is periodic). However, even if the measure is periodic, the AST and LEQ accounts will display the till date value. So, it remains equal to the YTD value. This is because balance sheet accounts always show the till date values.

    I agree with how you think bugs should be reported. For now, I'd suggest posting them here, in detail. Some of us can relay them to the appropriate places, at least until we hear from Adobe personnel about an official location or method for the average end user.

  • How to generate Income Statement from Crystal Report

    I have:
    SAP BUSINESS ONE 2007A
    CRYSTAL REPORT 2008
    I have a problem with generating Income Statement related reports from CRYSTAL.
    For example,
    My revenue accounts are: '411000-00-00' and '412000-00-00', my expense accounts are: '510000-00-00' and '520000-00-00'.
    I'd like to generate the Income statement for Dec 1 - 31, 2008. Please advise how to generate this report. Thanks!

    Hi, Experts,
    Currently, what I tested to generate the income statement is:
    1. find out the account detail table: JDT1. My database path: Company Name -> dbo -> Tables -> JDT1
    2. follow the standard report menu: add 'JDT1', show 'RefDate', 'ContraAct'; group by'Account', summarize by 'Account'.
    I have the following problems:
    1. with this method, I am not able to find the amount for each transaction. Because the amount does not have a name as 'RefDate' or some other fields.
    2. the 'Account' and 'ContraAct' are all shown as 'SYS00000001685'. It's sysmtem message but not the actual account number or contra account number.

    Hi All,
    I wanted to get some perspective on industry best practices as it relates to performing Income Statement & Balance Sheet reporting via a single Essbase ASO cube. As both these areas share a lot of common dimensions, do most of the companies implement a single cube for integrated reporting or split cubes and have tools like HFR, Web Analysis etc. combine the information from those cubes for integrated cube.

  • Location of Customer Statement Report

    Hi all,
    I am wanting to customize the Customer Statement Report - when printed it appears to be a Crystal Report, but in the list of reports in the Report and Layout Manager there appears to be no reference to it under Customer Receivables Ageing or the A/R Invoice report sections (and they are all PLD reports).  Could someone please point me in the right direction?

    when you customize  the Customer Statement Report. you can refer Customer Receivables Aging standard report.
    - you can select AR invoice (status Open) : Doctotal - PaidtoDate
    - AR credit (status open)
    - Incoming payment
    - Outgoing payment
    _ Journal Entry
    then compare with Customer Receivables Aging.

  • Regarding month to date balance sheet or income statement

    Hi all,
         We are using T-Code S_PL0_86000028 for viewing balance sheet and income statements. In the selection variants for the period, if we select same value for the from period and to period it should actually show month to date statement. But we are not able to view month to date statement. We are getting only year to date statement. 
          And there is also profit center variant on this screen which if selected gives statement by profit center.
    But we are not able to view by profit center. If we give some profit center no data is being pulled up. But if we leave it blank it is giving the total statement.
         Is there any where in configuration that we should change to get this issues resolved.
    Can anyone help me out with this. Let me know if I am not clear with anything.

    Hi,
    Go to FGi1 code this for creating new report.Give copy from report name as 0SAPBSPL-01.Press create button.
    Here you check profit center field, if it is deactivated then activate that one.Check whether profit center field is used in your form.If it is used then you will not get it for selection e.g. if in my form I had restricted one column for one specific profit center then system won't allow me to give profit center from selection screen.
    Your second problem is known as YTD (year till date) FTM (for the month) selection problem.
    For this you define additional column in your form for YTD in that define field from period as 1 & to period as variable set for to period (means input you provide while executingthe report).
    This will give YTD figure.

    I will be working on FI-Gl(Income Statement) for the first time, could someone please tell me what problems i would face when getting data from R/3.
    I have read that they are few problems in transferring Special Ledger Data from R/3.
    Like:
    The option for “delta” updates was not chosen in view of the following limitations –
    •     The BALANCE field in the transfer structure will not be supplied with data during Delta upload. Special update rules will be required in order to populate the field.
    •     Deletion transactions are not connected to the Delta method.

    Prakash : 0FI_GL_6 wont bring data for all currency types unless you specifically pull data for those currency types from your infopackae seletction (we are on BW 3.5)?
    K3R  :     We are also on BW 3.5. could please explain further regarding pulling data for currency from infopackage?
    I am trying to do the whole process of collecting data, creating Cubes and reports. As i have mentioned I am new to FI. Trying to understand the process.

    ARE in the Balance Sheet
    If the appropriation of retained earnings is reported in the balance sheet, no special logic applies to subsequent consolidation, since the ARE items themselves are part of the reported equity data. In a divestiture or a transfer, the adjustment to group values from the triggering equity items is also posted to the allocated ARE items.
    ARE in the Income Statement
    If ARE is reported in the income statement, the reclassification of minority interests is posted automatically and simultaneously within the ARE u2013 that is, within the income statement.
    The entries for the statistical net income are derived from data reported for the ARE items, not from reported equity capital that affects net income.
    If data from distribution of dividends items exists, the statistical net income will differ from the adjusted statistical net income, because the latter does not contain the effect from the distribution of dividends. The Distribution of Dividends activity is not reported explicitly, because the corresponding items are components of ARE in the income statement, and part of the reported equity data.
