Incoming Mail triggers Express mail notification

We have EIC set up to receive incoming mails.
These mails each launch a window saying 'You have received an express mail'
When we get to production we are expecting many 100s of mails per day and the pop up is considered unnecessary and annoying by the users.
How do we turn off the pop up, preferably by user rather than globally,
or can we indicate that incoming mails are not express mails?

There is a way to disable this only at logon time.
There is a flag in Office Shared Settings:
No notification of unread mails when logging on - This flag indicates that the dialog box that informs users of new messages when they log on to the R/3 System is to be deactivated.

Not sure whether there is a way to disable this permanently.

I think, is there any authorization problem while triggering the mail for that particular user id.. Please tell me the solution, this is very high requirement for me.

you give Recipient Type as position and Recipient of Notification must be position of the reciepient,

DOCUMENT_NOT_SENT error in Mail Triggerring

Hello All,
I got a requirement wherein i have to covert a program output to spool and from spool i should convert that into a PDF attachment and trigger a mail to Outlook...
I could do the above one [everything is going fine, right spoolid i chosen and the data is compressed and packed in right way]
But when i try to trigger that as mail using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1..
I am getting error as DOCUMENT_NOT_SENT [My NEW_OBJECT_ID in FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 is blank will it make FM SX_SEND_DISPATCHER to fail?? Hence results in no mail triggering] ...
To find out the problem i have even checked SCOT and SOST transaction, But no log was found....
Also i made a background schedule of my program and saw the results in SM37 [Here also i could not see any error and i could see my desired output]..
I have even enabled PUT_IN_OUTBOX as 'X' and COMMIT_WORK as 'X'.....

I want to send email to internet address and not to SAP user. Like for example can I send the attachment to my yahoo id??
If I change to
i_reclist-receiver = give sap user id
i_reclist-express = 'X'.
i_reclist-rec_type = 'B'.
this will surely work but it comes to my SAP Office Inbox but I need to send it to any address on the internet. Is it possible?

Manual mail triggering issues in SOST

Hi ,
In standard notification type (M1) ACTION BOX " Send confirmation of Receipt", i executed the Email with user's mail id. Mail was generated.But its waiting for long time in SOST(send request) and i need to manually trigger it in SOST to send it users. Usually, mail would be sent to user without the manual triggering in SOST. But its not happening in my case. I think, some settings to be done for it.
Can you please let me know how to sort out this issue.

Secondly, the answer is that you need a periodic job using report RSCONN01 to send your mails automatically.

Open Mail.app with growl notification not the mail itself

Hello, with an incoming mail the OSX growl notification appears. But it links (when clicking on it) to the Mail in a new window. Can I change this so it will open the "complete" Mail.app not only the mail in single view?

Try resetting your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Express Mail Popup

Hello,
When users on logged on system and they receive express mail, they get notification through express mail pop up.
But when users are not logged on and they get express mail it goes to their inbox but they do NOT get popup when they log on next.
What could be the reason.

Hi Aj,
Go to Tr. SO16 on the users tab you will have flag, where you can set up wether you want a pop-up about unread documents when users log on. You have to enable this here.

IPhone mail app not sending notifications

I use the mail app for iphone to check my college email,
usually it sends notifications when I receive a new messege but it is not sending any more (No sounds, no banners, no badges),
Although the email app is in Notification Center when I check it in the settings
Is that beacuse I Use IMAP Not POP ?

If Mail is in the notification center and the badge icon is on, alert is on, and ect... Try to reset your device holding home and sleep/wake button; Wait til the Apple logo appears and then let go of the buttons and wait for reboot. Has nothing to do with what type of email account you are using.

I need to get a copy of my childs incoming and sent yahoo mail in Apple mail without it being able delete on either end to affect both?

I did previously add my childs yahoo e-mail account to Apple mail but did not Sync it. But, as soon as I deleted an e-mail in Apple mail it did so in my childs yahoo mail & and vise versa. Is there another way I am missing?

If you mean that you wish to highlight messages from certain people or domain names, then if you select Preferences under 'Mail' (top left hand corner next to the Apple logo when you're in the mail application) and then select the right hand icon marked 'rules', then click on Add Rule and hopefully the rest is fairly self explanatory.

Mail marks iCal email notifications as junk mail

I suppose this could be an iCal problem or a Mail problem, but email notifications that come from iCal are marked as junk mail every time. Yes, I have "Sender of message is in my Address Book" checked off in Mail preferences, and my address is listed in Address Book. If I send an email from me to me via Mail it is not marked as junk, but from iCal it is always marked as junk. I found posts about this going back many years, surely there would be a resolution by now?

I had the same issue and was able to find the answer in another discussion.
You just need to highlight the card in Address Book and then choose "Make This My Card" in the "Card" menu.

Mail triggered for a PO which is old dated

Dear Experts,
I got a problem, Purchase order is way back ( created in 2008 April) and so far GR is not taken place.
But all of a sudden user got the auto mail saying that for this PO GR is expected.
How this message can trigger when PO is created long back and how system has triggered auto mail? what could have gone wrong?
