Hello All,
I am getting the following message on weblogic console when ever I deploy the application. But the application is working with out any problems so far. Is it a severe issue.

I'm working with the EJB container and I can't run my session bean at all it shows me this message"Failure in looking up EJB component QueryService#oracle.wsm.policymanager.ejb.IStringQueryServiceRemote" and it doesn't want to deploy my session to the server,

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

FIXME: IOUnserialize message swamping the console

Okay, has anyone got an idea if this is a potential problem other than the log file size? I've gotten this message every couple seconds all morning. I never noticed it before today.Recently partitioned my drive for Boot Camp, could that have something to do with it? I tried repairing permissions, running fsck, and rebooting. Doesn't seem to matter.

have you tried to connect on the command line (instead of using R3trans) ?
db2 connect to AE1 user sapae1 using .....
If this works and you have verified that the DB2DB6EKEY is set properly, use dscdb6up to update the password in the password file dscbd6.conf.
Then try again to use R3trans to connect.

Snow Leopard unusable with Broken Pipe messages in the console

Hello
Recently, probably after having installed OS X 10.6.8, I noticed that after a while, something within the OS becomes saturated leading to no new processes being able to be started. All existing programs continue to run and all seems normal except if a running program needs to call another program (e.g., Mail needing to fetch a password from Keychain Access).
The console then becomes awash with broken pipe messages and a whole bunch of error logs are created for various programs.
This is causing me great irritation as everytime I am forced to restart the machine (sometimes by forcing a hard-reboot).
I would really appreciate any help on this matter. I would rather not have to completely re-install the OS if I can help it.

Don't know what the problem is, it is very robust, but hard drives are based on magnetic bits and those bits fail, the best OS in the world can't stand up if the chair it's standing on is kicked out from underneath it.
OS X only takes 4.5GB, Apple could have incorporates a automatic recovery parttion check upon boot and restored OS X if if didn't boot, but they didn't do that.
Then when they have to place a recovery partiton like in Lion as they are phasing out the optical drive, they make one get online to get a new copy of OS X.
How stupid is that?

Unable to connect to WSUS server from the console

I am not able to connect to WSUS server from WSUS console any more suddenly! "please verify that IIS on the server is correctly configured and is running'. I find out that Windows Process Activation Service is stuck in starting.
I killed it with taskkill command but I am not able to restart it. It gives 'Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion'.
There are some suggestion online but I am not comfortable with those solutions, I prefer to be guided by Microsoft TechNet, thanks.

Clicking on any hyper link or submit button shows a 'failure to load' URL message in the console in IE11

I am getting a console error message 'failure to load' while clicked on any hyperlink or submit button. This is only occurring in IE11 browser. why this is happening

This is occurring in most of the websites and also you can observe the same error in "http://msdn.microsoft.com/ie" and you can observe it in IE11 browser only. please check the attached screenshot. ( http://screencast.com/t/jBez3nNpbfF )
I have checked with different machine and get the same issue. i think my
Internet Explorer is up to date, you can also check it once by enabling the console (F12).

Mail refuses to launch. Gives the console message: MailAccounts were initialized before migration from V1 to V2!

Tax day, so I upgraded to Yosemite.
When I launch mail, the mail "updater" program comes up and says that it's initializing then the UI goes away. The mail UI program never starts.
Here are the messages from the console when it starts:
4/15/15 6:08:53.072 PM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent) The _DirtyJetsamMemoryLimit key is not available on this platform.
4/15/15 6:08:53.514 PM Mail[882]: Using V1 Layout
4/15/15 6:08:53.752 PM Mail[882]: Upgrading Library from 4.192 to 4.192
4/15/15 6:08:59.153 PM Mail[882]: MailAccounts were initialized before migration from V1 to V2!
4/15/15 6:08:59.168 PM Mail[882]: MailAccounts were initialized before the Library was ready!
It seems that if the upgrade is not needed, then it shouldn't fail. Any ideas as to what to do next?

I faced exactly the same problem. Here is what I did to handle this
open your Terminal.app
go to your Library folder
cd Library/
rename your Mail folder into some kind of backup
mv Mail _Mail
start your Mail.app which should start by now
configure your email accounts (guess they can be imported somehow, but I was faster simply reconfiguring them)
"Import Mailboxes" from your backup folder "Library/_Mail" as described in Mail (Yosemite): Import or export mailboxes
If you can't access Library/_Mail from Mail copy it from your Terminal to any accessible location eg
cp -RP _Mail/ /Users/<your_username>/Downloads/
if the import went well you might delete your Mail backup folder via Terminal
rm -fdr _Mail
Not a perfect solution since it includes some manuell actions and sorting but at least an option.

Inserting Object link as reference object in Maint Order/Notification

Dear all,
I've mapped pipe line using obejct link,now when i create Maint Order or Notification system displays below mentioned message,
Select a link object as reference object
Message no. IH101
Diagnosis
You are trying to create an order or a notification for a link object, but have not yet selected an object.
Procedure
Place the cursor on a link object. This object will be entered in the notification or order as the object referred to.
In std Screen RefObject thers is no ref object for Link,
Please guide me how we can create Maint.Order/Notification against Object Link,as it is required to track cost as well as history of repairs in pipe line.

i refer page no 18 of SAP book Object Networking (CS-BD/PM-EQM-ON) SAP AG Release 4.6C,
To select a particular link from the list, (IN18)select the object link and choose one of the following options:
Goto --> Change/Display --> link, You reach the object link data screen.
Goto -->Create notification --> Notification type
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance notification for the link. If a link object is entered for the selected link, the system automatically uses it as a reference object for the notification.
Goto --> Create order
You reach the screen where you can create a maintenance order for the link. If a link the system automatically uses it as a
reference object for the order.

Reference object changed in order

All,
Few orders have been changed with the reference object in the header level in the course of order processing, which has led to inconsistency in the data between the object at the time when the order was created and in due course of processing with new object ( Location and account assignment data (Default values)).
There is a need that whenever in due course of processing when the order reference object is changed, the default value in location and account assignment data in order should be updated..
How can we achieve this...

We did this via a user-exit at SAVE (IWO10009) which popped up a message telling the user that there was a difference in Location data.

on the console to get the messages.

Reference Object Screen For Vehicle in Maintenance Order

SAP Gurus,
How could I display the reference object screen for vehicle specific data (O150) in my Maintenance Order. I have been able to display it in Maintenance Notification but how could the fields plate number etc defined in reference object screen for Fleet objects be displayed in Order.

When you create the Order from the notification, there shouldn't be a problem with the reference object screen, you should be able to see the Fleet object reference field, even if the screen reference object type for the order type is set to blank in config.
If you are creating a order directly using transaction IW31,Make sure to assign the Equipment only reference object screen (0150) to the order type using transaction OIOA.This will bring in the fleet reference object field defined as well.

Reference Object to Refresh Work Order Field Data

Dear Gurus,
In IW21/IW22 the reference object will populate the Responsibilities section of the Notification tab, and fields on the Location Data tab. When the reference object is changed, those same fields will update or refresh. The reference object will also populate field data in a work order if the work order is created from the notification, however, work order fields will not refresh if the reference object on the notification is changed. Nor will work order fields change if the reference object is changed directly within the work order.
Can anyone explain why fields will refresh in IW21/IW22 when the reference object is changed, but similar fields in the work order will not refresh when the reference object is changed in IW31/IW32?

Hi Lisa,
When you execute IW31/IW32 transaction, in back ground standard SAP programs are called to perform order related task.
When transaction IW21 / IW22 is executed and order is created or changed at that point also standard SAP programs are called to perform order related task.
But program called by IW31/IW32 are different then that will called with IW21/IW22 and thus refresh dont happen if u change reference object in notification once after order is created.
You need to manually change in work order.

GetObject() on Object Message hangs

          contain custom java objects created using castor-0.9.3.9. The application gets deployed
          successfully and i send an message from a test class outside the bea environment.
          On sending a message, this is is what i see on the server window:

          NotificationListener : Going in for casting object
          And it hangs at that.
          The code in the NotificationListener class is as follows:

          I agree, you need to catch Throwable to capture all exceptions (checked
          and unchecked). Although I do have a few observations:
          1. Do not assume you are getting an Object that you want, check first if
          the object you want is of the type you are looking for, use instanceof.
          Using instanceof my sound expense but it is cheap (I ran a million
          instanceof and found on average the time in milliseconds for each instance
          of command was less than 1 if memory serves :-).
          2. Since you are using, sending, a java object your object will get
          serialized and de-serialized and this could be very expensive and time
          consuming depending now how complex the java object is. I have seen the
          cost for serialization run up to 1 second per object when using JMS.
          3. Test you MDB by sending a simple object and see if that causes the same
          hanging problem, if not then you can be assured there is a problem with
          getting access to the serialized object.
          4. I do not know, and am too lazy to look at the WLS code, if when
          requesting an object from message object the de-serialization is done only
          when you ask for it or at the time the message is received (do not know if
          this makes a difference, just an observation :-)
