Increase in Billing

Has anyone else noticed that the billing has been increasing on the Freedom Essentials? I switched over in January and my bill has increased by$300 + taxes so far.

Seeing red on the increases, now they are charging if you have to call in for help> talk about being gouged to death. geesh up 13.00$ then when I wanted to cancel long distant service--I was charged for that. I feel we are being tricked into "bundling" so later on they can "get us" with the same and ever more charges than before. When will it end? I remember GTE and how nice they were--since "Verizon" took them over, its been hell dealing with the monopoly.

    ATT has had for a long time ongoing "bill creep".  Now I get a $9 charge for a $1 surprise increase on monthly fee that I paid as soon as I discovered it!!!!  I had automatic payments set up on my bank account for the originally agreed upon monthly charges. This is just so wrong.  I will not waste an hour of my life (normal phone time whenever I have had to call ATT about anything in the past--also true of all my friends).  I will try my best to find another provider that will honor its original agreement about monthly charges and not charge outrageous fees for setting up its customers.   I left the home phone service a while back for "bill creep" (and am saving almost 90% on my bill) after being a customer for decades, so now I will leave Uverse for the same rotten reason as soon as I can find another provider. I truly HATE this company. Pat 

      So, you don't bother to check the monthly bill before the automatic payment is deducted? I seem to get an email each month listing the $ amt and when it is going to be charged to my CC.
    Have to say it is on you for not doing that, not ATT for increasing your bill $1.  Generally bills increase in the Feb billing, not any other month.

  • Sudden increase in bill

    Really hoping someone can help me out with my billing....
    I was paying £36 a month for unlimited broadband and weekend and evening calls. In December I was moved onto a deal whereby this would change to £27. Needless to say I have never paid this amount yet, and in January my bill was increased to £62. Given the deals that are available with other providers I find this a ridiculous amount to be paying. My main concern is that I fail to see where this increase has come from, given that I have unlimited broadband and a landline that is used pretty sparingly.
    I have contacted BT a couple of times by phone regards this, but I really haven't got very far and feel like I banging my head off a wall at times, especially when I am told that the reason for the increase is due to an increase in my usage (on an unlimited Internet package!?). Then I will be told not to worry as the bill will be recalculated come the next billing period, but I have little to no confidence that my bill will come down to a satisfactory rate after this.
    Is there an e-mail address that I can use to have someone check over my billing, as I have not gotten very far by phone/live chat.

  • AvaWhich apps can I get as a student subscriber? are  all the apps which are available to download part of the package or will downloading them increase my bill?

    Hi , I have just bought the student package of Photoshop and illustrator and I have many more apps which have become available to install. Are these apps part of the deal ? There's  In-design, Dreamweaver, After Effects and many more which would be extremely welcome but will it increase my monthly Bill?

  • Bill increased by $50 and the phone number is not letting me through.

    I need to talk to someone about the $50 increase in my bill from last month, but everything I try to call customer service, they disconnect me as soon as I say I am calling about billing or canceling starz. That is ridiculous because they advertise that the service is 24/7, but apparently only if you are increasing the bill. I want to take care of this immediately.

    Hi,
    I've been a BT customer for twenty odd years.  In those twenty years I've experienced plenty of problems:- poor service, disgusting technical assistance, high bills, customer service people who don't understand me as they can't speak English well, long irritating automated telephone systems costing me each minute I wait, and just plain arrogance and incompetence.   I've stayed because most of the time the service works ok, I'm a busy person and like an easy life.   I'm a pretty good customer too, and BT have made plenty from me. 
    I dislike direct debits, so I pay quarterly via the internet.   I pay a premium for this even though the admin for BT is negligible if it exists at all.     I have noticed that they've decided I have a ten day payment window.   I ignore this and pay all of my bills on the same day each month, in the month they come in. 
    Last month, I received (by email) my quarterly bill.   It came in on the 3rd, and I pay bills on the 25th.   On the 19th I was getting ready to fly somewhere and needed to transfer money by online banking.   My service had been CUT OFF! no warning.  I found out by my browser going to this lovely designed BT page saying your service has been cut off, click here to pay your bill now.     I went ballistic and phoned--at a time when I didn't have a lot of time!   It took two phone calls from my mobile phone (the first cut me off as I didn't have my customer number to hand) and over 10 minutes to get to a human being with English as a second language--par for the course! and by the way BT and the other companies that do this, not ideal for telephone service by the way!, I doubt we're getting any financial benefit as customers in our bills from the pittance they pay in these other countries for these call centres.     At first this person insisted I have to pay which I flat out refused.   16 days!    I'll bet BT don't pay their vendors that fast.   I persevered, and was angry but not rude, after threatening to cancel my account, this person reinstated my service.    
    I complained in writing and requested that a solution to this problem might be to increase my billing period to 30 days, so their cutting off service which is probably automated wouldn't kick in.   I received a polite reply, refusing.     So BT, I'm leaving.   
    I have to wait for a while, until 1 May, as I had just upgrated to their Infinity service and I'm locked in until 1 May 2013.   I could go now, but I won't pay their extortionate fee for leaving early.   Once upon a time I might have forgotten all about it, but not this time.    The date is in my diary, and so will be my MAC code.  I'm already gone.  Long overdue.   Any suggestions out there for a great competitor?   I've started my search.
    It may seem like a small thing, I can and probably will just adjust my billing cycle to ensure I pay it ON DEMAND! until the 1st of May next year so I don't have it happen again.   But I resent being bullied like this, and I resent being treated like this.  It is the straw that broke this camel's back.     When companies treat their customers like their B**CHES, then the b's bite back and go.
    It would be good if a customer retention service read these remarks and took note, but I know they don't care.  Neither do I anymore, and I've got plenty of time to find a better replacement!

    I am really sorry that your service was cut off.  I understand completely the points you are making, taking into consideration your long term custom with us, coupled with regular payments, I appreciate that this must have been annoying.  Especially when throwing your travel complications into the mix.
    If you would give us another chance I'll be happy to have a look over your account and see what happened.  16 days does sounds a bit out but I'll need to have a closer look.

  • First Generated Bill DOUBLE what I expected!!!

    I just received my first generated bill.  It is DOUBLED what I expected!!!  I changed plans in the middle of the month to increase my calling minutes and I added four "friends and family."  They added $120.00 in "Monthly Access Fees."  This is after the fact I have not received my $100 Blackberry Rebate!!!
    Is this what I can expect from Verizon every month????  Off I go to the Mass. Attorney General's office.

    Additional charges on the first bill may be due to prorating for a partial month, then full billing for the next month (as budone stated).  Changing plans in the middle of the month also pro-rates your minutes for each part of the month, and can drastically increase your bill.  For instance, if you were on a 700 minute plan, and changed at the midpoint to 1400 minutes, the first half of the month's allowance would be 350 minutes; so if you were at, say, 500 minutes by that point, then you would be charged with 150 overage minutes.  If this is what happened, then you should call Customer Service (as has been suggested multiple times) and ask them to BACKDATE the plan change to cover the entire first month of service.
    Also, your Friends and Family numbers do NOT apply to the whole month, just from the day they were added.  Any calls made to those numbers before they were added to your account will subtract from your allowance.

  • Billing frustration

    I am extremely frustrated with my billing. I called in back in May to have my bill reduced. It was around $231 at the time. I went down to a 6GB plan - was told it would save me $30 - that my complete bill was $184.66 plus tax, per month. I received a bill in June and it was over $250. I called in and the bill was reduced to $198 - and was told that should be my complete bill going forward. I received a bill today for $243. Called in and was told that when I went to 6GB, my unlimited talk and text charges increased. That was never mentioned. Why would I agree to increase my bill for less service? I was given a $25 credit however, my bill will, once again be $243 again next month. So I increased my GB back up to 10GB, which puts me back to the original $231 bill that I was trying to reduce. I am now going to be shopping for a better deal with another carrier because staying with a company that I have been with since 1995 has become too expensive and convoluted to continue. I realize that one customer doesn't mean much but I have always told everyone how great my ATT service is, which has resulted in new customers for ATT. I will not be doing that going forward. There really should be something to be said for brand loyalty after so many years.

  • Price Increases - Any Notification?

    Does anyone get notices of price increases in advance?  I found my TV service bill increased this billing cycle. I don't recall seeing any notice of an upcoming price increase, and the latest bill shows new charges due to taxes & fees but fails to mention that they are the result of a new higher cable TV price. While a minimal change for my little plan, this is still very frustrating. Furthermore, I am dismayed that Comcast does not appear to provide any support that is not via the telephone, i.e. chat or e-mail, so unless I want to spend untold amount of time on the telephone, which usually ends up being a very long & very painful process, the best I can do is post in a forum?

    As a comcast basher (due to their practices and denials) I will  dispute a segment of your  comments. I have used their  chat services while vacationing in  Spain and found the individuals i communicated with to be some of the best/intelligent I have dealt with @ the big C.. The billing is like the temperature outside.. up/down..then they have the audacity to state you had enrolled in a year plan and your term is up thus the higher billing.. I asked if they could produce a signed/ and or a voice recording of my so called agreement..NO was the reply..However I have experienced great customer service  from the individuals at the corporate office. One may not get the result you desire, BUT they listen, research, call you back..which  is gigantic upgrade from the field office and the  ROBOTIC reps . PLUS they can hold a conversation  and make you feel like they care about your plight... Our development is obtaining ideas for our new contract with comcast, I will suggest they have an office here as they are frequent visitors for repairs in the development.. Bythe way the service calls are now 70.00 and everything will be your fault(wiring-equipment etc... GREAT PRODUCT< HORRIBLE SUPPORT FOR THE CUSTOMER

  • Billed by another provider for collect calls accepted from my Verizon landline

    We accepted two brief (under 3 Minutes) emergency collect phone calls from a family member to our Verizon landline,  We were billed $39.36 for them by a "provider" called ILD.  I called Verizon and  a representative said there is nothing they can do and to call ILD.  I called ILD and they offered an $11.00 "discount" which I told them was unacceptable.  They told me to call Verizon back, which I am not going to do right now because each phone call involved substantial time to get through automated message handling systems and finally get an actual person to talk with.
    I was frustrated with Verizon to begin with because of their outrageously high charges, constant increases, complicated bills and terrible customer service.  Tomorrow, I will do one or all of the things below:
    (1) Contact consumer affairs and government agencies who may be able to help me.
    (2) Cancel my current Verizon phone and internet service completely.
    (3) Never deal with Verizon again for any type of services and advise friends/relatives to do the same.
    I made a partial payment of $100 on my bill.  This covers all Verizon services and $10 towards ILD charges, which is all I am willing to pay.

    I am just wondering , I have the Thunderbolt but want to get the iPhone 4 8G . Having the Thunderbolt , I already have the unlimited data plan so I am just wondering if getting the iPhone will increase my bill and if so how much . THANKS !

    Money wise nothing but the insurance $3. I like it as well as AppleCare plus $100 for 2 yrs which includes damage for $50 deductable but the vzw has a lot of pros as well.
    I would personally get the iPhone 4s some people would say they update it more since it was out more recent. Also I like the extra 8gig for music pics emails  apps etc. Love the processor to it can Handle more. Our house has both and I can tell the difference alittle bit not to much that you would hate the 4. If you need slightly better battery life as well. I came from a thunderbolt and for me this is more reliable.

  • Price increase on DVR

    Hi,
    I was checking my bill today, and noticed that Verizon increased the price of my DVR from $12.99 to $16.99.
    I've been a customer for 5+ years, and was told that as long as I don't change my DVR service, I will be getting that $12.99 rate.
    I emailed them, but they told me that the rate I was getting was incorrect ($12.99), and they just audited my account and corrected it. They didn't even notify me about it.
    Has anyone else experienced it? Is it worth fighting with them about it?
    Would really appreciate a response.

    Well, I finally had the time to call them today.
    They said that they made a decision to increase DVR prices for everybody, doesn't matter if your Verizon plan was grandfathered in or not.
    The guy said they sent customer notification - which I didn't see - ahead of time.
    There is nothing that they can do for me.
    He basically told me that I should be grateful that Verizon doesn't increase the prices like other companies do, and I should be happy that my price didn't get increased 2.5 years ago when they first increased DVR prices.
    Also,  even though I didn't change my setup box in 5+ years, the content on the box changed - a "better" user guide and on demand.
    So I am stuck paying $16.99 until they increase it again .
    He also tried to sell me more services to increase my bill even more to "enhance my Verizon experience".
    Hey, at least I spoke to someone in the call center located in US, not outside the country when you can barely understand them.

  • Upgrade to Creative Cloud 7 days ago - still no access to full products customer service not helpful

    I upgraded to the full Creative Cloud access on the 13th of April through customer service. I saw a promotional offer for $29.99/month for access to all the CC apps, but since I was already signed up for Premiere Pro CC at $19.99/month it said I needed to speak to customer service to upgrade.
    I did that. The customer service rep upgraded my service to $29.99/month and assured me that I would now have access to the full creative suite.
    You can see that I was billed for $29.99 on April 13th:
    After that upgrade nothing changed on my end. I had full access to Adobe Premiere CC like before, but otherwise all other programs(photoshop, illustrator, etc) still downloaded and ran as trial versions. I contacted customer service two more times. They were unable to resolve the problem and only escalated the ticket.
    I have not had any response from either ticket. And looking at it now it looks like one of them is listed as "withdrawn" with no notes from Adobe's end and no resolution to my problem. The other ticket is still open pending Adobe's response.
    To top it all off today in Premiere CC I received a notice that I would lose access to Premiere in 5 days because of some error in the billing information. So in 5 days time I will be paying $29.99/month and have access to zero Adobe products.
    So I'm writing this post in hopes of actually getting someone that can solve my problems to take a look. I don't want to spend another 2 hours in a chat-box with an overseas customer service rep who only copys and pastes pre-formatted responses to me. I don't want my ticket escalated and then ignored. I want the service that I paid for, or I want my money refunded.
    What I think happened is that the customer service rep who upgraded my membership to the full creative cloud suite forgot to flip some switch. It seems like they increased my billing rate but didn't actually change my subscription.

    Please don't tell me to try logging out of creative cloud, or deleting files on my end, or check my DNS settings, or any of that. I've been through it - twice - with your customer service reps already. It did nothing. The issue is on Adobe's side. Somewhere in some database my account is not set to full creative cloud access. There is nothing I can do on my end to rectify this.
    Please - I would either like this rectified, or have my money refunded. Anything else is unacceptable. And as a whole my experience with customer service has been frustrating, unhelpful, and not up to the standards I expect from a high-class company like Adobe.

    Have you logged out of your Cloud subscription and then back in?

  • Does Simple Credit Limit Check Include Checking for Open Orders

    Hi all,
    I have this issue here where I have configured the system to use simple credit limit check with error message. I did not use the standard/common automatic credit limit check since user insist on a pop-up warning and that the order could not be saved. But, I realized that it does not take open orders into account too although I have set the risk categories. Is it true and what solution is there for this issue then.

    Check the system responses in each and every level of sales document processing and check whether the system
    blocked the delivery document (due to the setting in VOV8 of OR in check credit limit field [C] = Blocked for
    delivery).
     To release the delivery go to VKM4 and release the delivery document.

  • Sales Value not updated in credit check

    Hai Guys,
    I am facing an important issue in the Credit check. The Sales value (SO / Dly made but not delivered / billed) is not reflecting in the credit check.
    1. I created a step in the pricing procedure and assigned its 'subtotal' to A (KOMP-CMPRE) - so that it can be taken for credit update.
    2. I had activated the update of LIS S066 - for Sales Order credit
    3. In the automatic credit control, I have checked the Open SO & Deliveries
    Still my credit check is not checking the open SO & Dly.
    Can somebody help me in this regard.

    Use the Update group 000012
      o   Sales order
          -   Increases open order value from delivery-relevant schedule lines

      Reduces open delivery value
      Increases open billing document value
