Increased Calendar Functionality

I'm using the SAP Business ONE standard calendar to control my mobile engineers.
Does any one know how to increase the number of technicians a user can see in the calendar view at any one time
We have over 50 engineers and at the moment we can only see a maximum of 7 in the group view. If we wish to see more we have to use form settings/user tab to deselect and reselect more technicians
I'm sure there will either be an add-on or some settings adjustment
In addition can the list of technicians be in the vertical axis onstead of the horizontal one (this would leave more room for more engineers!
I've been told Business OBJECTS may be able to help - hence this post

Thanks for your reply henry.
At the moment we are not using Business Objects/Crystall Reports although I'm told B1 users will be able to use BO/CR some time in the future.
Someone in the B1 forum seemed to think that if my need to increase the functionality of the standard calendar in B1 is not possible it May be possible to do it via Business Objects.
At least that is my understanding. I'd prefer if possible to improve the calander already part of B1. But if not could B.Objects do the job?

I have downloaded IOS7 on my iPhone and all calendar events have disappeared. The general functions of the calendar have changed and are definitely not 'user friendly'. How can I retrieve my calendar events. Will Apple improve the calendar function or revert to the previous system. Even the typing function on IOS 7 is faulty - very slow to respond to the keyboard. I no longer enjoy using my iPhone. Can anyone assist. Thank you

Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however,  is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has  become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.

  • Calendar Functionality for a date field in HTML of  a ITS service

    Hi
I am working with SRM EBP module we want to add date help(with calendar function) to existign date fields in Shopping cart and PO screens . I found some HTML and Javascripts in SYSTEM and BBPGLOBAL services (named as calendar)but not sure which ones to use if anyone used date functionality or even have access to Standard SAP ITS screens that already have date field with calendar fuctionality can you help???????????????
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi
Let me first thank you for the quick response and timely help you provided calendar popup works great but one minor issue i am not able to click on the date entry and bring the field back into the field not sure if this funcitonality is in show_calendar.
I would really appreciate if you get time to look at below i am almost there with your help......thanks again
Here are the steps I did
I have a HTML page  SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS screen 300 in SRM module , I created a new HTML page (zcalendar.html) in the same internet service BBPSC01 as suggested and I included in my HTML page SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS screen 300 and also I added below code to add a icon and a href call to the show_calendar function.
Code works great I get the popup but when I double click on the date it is not selecting the date into the field back .
    Any thoughts??????

  • Calendar function not working in report launch form

We are currently using Headstart 6.5.3.1 for 9i. When we invoke the calendar function for a date parameter in the report launch form (qms0012f), we get the error-message ORA-6508: could not find program unit being called in PL/SQL Program Unit qms$calendar.show.
After closing the report launch form and re-opening it again this error message does not appear again and the calendar is shown without any problems.
Does anyone have experience with this error or know the reason why it is occurring?

  • TS4000 calendar function disappeared in reminders app in ios7

In IOS7 the Reminders App lost its calendar function, it has become extremely difficult to go to the end of my 200 reminders list. Also to enter a new reminder you have to scroll to the end of the (200 items) reminders list first. In IOS6 there was a very easy calender function to navigate through your reminders much easier. Can we get back this calender function in a new update of the Reminders app? Or can someone show me a non-apple Reminders App that has this calender function that makes navigation through your Reminders easy?
    Tnanks!

  • Using Calendar functions on more than one field

Could someone clarify the date functions of 0Calendar for me?
We are told that you can only point the calendar functions to one date field in a InfoCube/Query.  I find this extremely limiting, for example, Validity Start Date and Validity End Date within the Contract Management content 0SRCT, we want to be able to view summaries at a day/week/month/quarter/year level on both fields, but we are being told we can only do this for one of the fields, and the other one we would have to create a custom field.  Also does the calendar function apply to a Infocube level or query level, as some of the multi cube (0SR_MC02) have 0CAL_DAY in at least 3 of the DSOs, how do you know which one is referenced in the query?
Any information on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

The problem is that the DISTINCT|UNIQUE clause does not take a braketted list but applies across all columns.
SELECT DISTINCT(dummy, dummy) FROM dual;  -- Invalidwill therefore give the same error as
SELECT (dummy, dummy) FROM dual;  -- InvalidYou can only get away with
SELECT DISTINCT(dummy) FROM dual;  -- misleadingbecause it is legal to bracket a single expression, like this
    SELECT (dummy) FROM dual;

  • Why does the calendar function send invitations in GMT?

  • Nokia E7 -Calendar function extremely slow

i have a new Nokia E7-00. I experience the calendar function to be VERY slow. It takes seconds to open, then more seconds to load the calender entries, then to move from one date to the other, even closing the function is slow. What can I do to make it respond faster?

I found out something very interesting, bur I still don't understand it.
As i've told my E70 syncs with my office using Lotus Notes Traveler. After the initial sync my E70 calendar  became very, very slow, and is almost useless. I tried as far as i know everything. (see postings above) but nothing helped. Then  I tried something new: I synchronised my calendar (as usual) with nokia suite on my PC at home. Then I erased all entrys on my E70. (about 150 calendar entrys). After that I did NOT sync with my office using Lotus Notes Traveler, but I reloaded my E70 by syncing it with my PC at home. (MS Outlook calendar) The about 150 entrys were back again on my E70. After that my E70 calender runned very smooth. Now  I can switch between functions on the calender very quick.
The question is: What is the difference between the calendar data downloaded from my office (which slows down my E70 extremely) and downlading the same data from Nokia Suite (which originally came from my office and were synchronised on my home-pc?)
Now my Nokia is running fine but I cant backup it on my home-pc dayly with Nokia Suite, then erase my phone and synchronise again to get my data back, to keep it running.
I did an extra test. I've put some test entrys in my calendar on the E70 and synchronised it with my office. I also made som test entrys in my remote office calendar and synchtonised it. The data transferred from the phone to the office and back as it should, and still the E70 runs smooth. But these were only a few test entries.  I'm not a technician, but hopefully somebody understands what I try to discribe and knows the answer.
    Thanx in advance.

  • Outlook Calendar functions are reduced, why?

Has anyone noticed that iCloud io6 reduced the functions in Outlook 2010?  In Calendar appointments, I use the notes field to write down client phone numbers, email, specifics to the job and directions.  We used to be able to utilize this field with html text.  That has stopped.  Now it is locked into rich text.  And, there is no ability to do anything other than highlight, copy, cut and paste.  The font is fixed otherwise.  The font height is miniscule at what looks like about 5-point height.  I can hardly read it.  Right clicking over highlighted text does nothing.  There is no right click pop-up menu.  There is no Outlook Tab that can manipulate the font - ios6 erased all of them.  This is not good.
If rich text is a must because of conflicts with MACs and PCs, I can live with that.  However, can you please tell me a way to increase the font height?  It is too tiny to read and is aggravting to crane my neck 10" from the screen.  I do not believe computer technology should go backwards.
    Many thanks!

As a followup to my question-------- Calendar dates work OK going to and from the PC and Iphone, only the contacts when entered on the phone are not syncing to the PC.

  • There is a new Calendar function in Yahoo Mail, and I can't get Firefox to access this (though Safari will) - any comment?

Everything else in my Rogers Yahoo Mail is fine - its just this new functionality that keeps reporting - over a week or so - that it can't be accessed. When I open Safari, I have no trouble accessing the Calendar (which has been redesigned by Yahoo).

You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
Firefox doesn't offer to store new passwords if you are in Private Browsing mode, but already saved passwords are accessible. You need to leave PB mode if you want to store a new password.

  • Drag and Drop with Calendar functionality in BSP/WebDynpro

    Hi,
I am not sure where to ask this information. First trying in this forum.
We are looking for a  scheduling software-kind of functionality within SAP. We get service calls from customers if there is any leak on the roof. We would like to know if we can provide drag and drop functionality in BSP/Webdynpro. We are envisioning left pane with Leak Notification # (could be 25-30 Notification calls per office) and calendar(month or week) functionality on right pane of the page. The service manager can drag and drop Leak Notification # into Calendar on the right pane OR move around within Calendar. When they do that, we want to update certain custom table fields in SAP. Do you think this can be done in BSP or Webdynpro for ABAP easily. If so, can you point us in the right direction ?
    Regards,
    Niranjan

Thanks once again for the reply Thomas.
Yes, we have used XHTMLB and PHTMLB extensively.
One last question if you don't mind since you now work for SAP. We have 1-2 BSP applications written without MVC pattern. We are thinking to convert that to MVC using Webdynpro ABAP. Do you suggest that for any new applications we should start using Webdynpro ABAP and not BSP ? I look at Webdynpro as ABAP query(with not much flexibility) and BSP as normal ABAP coding (which offers more flexibility). Is my assumption correct ? I want to know where SAP is investing in future; is it Webdynpro OR BSP ?
Also, do you know if SAP has come out with new themes like Design2009 or Design2010 or Design2011. We currently use Design2003 and it does not work well with Firefox or Chrome.
Thanks once again for writing that book. In fact, I will be training one of my colleague next week on BSP and I am planning to go throu your book this weekend to refresh my memory before training her.

  • Calendar function question - somebody must know out there...

Any organization has meetings scheduled once a month, recurring on the third Wednesday ... or once a quarter on the first Friday. I can't see how to do this in Calendar. It's gotta be there, right? Please tell me I'm blind and solve my dilemma. Thank you very much.

It doesn't appear that they have this option yet. It is available in iCal so maybe it will come in an iPhone software upgrade down the road.
In iCal, at the bottom of the same list that comes up in iPhone for repeat events, there is a Custom option. From there you can select "every 2nd Tuesday" etc.
I know this isn't the answer you wanted.
Can you input these repeat items in whatever calender software you use on your computer and then sync it to your iPhone? At least until Apple adds this function to the Calender app on iPhone?
    Good luck!

  • I'd like to customize the 'repeat' Calendar  function on my iPad to include 'every 3 months'. Can I do this.

Can I customize the 'repeat' function on the Calendar? I want to include an 'every 3 months' category.

Here's what I mean about the iCloud suggestion:
If your calendar is truly on iCloud, even though you use a Windows computer, you could go to:
    http://www.icloud.com
... on your Windows computer, log in, and see your calendar there.  Then you could perform the "Repeat" "Custom" edit I mentioned above.  Since your calendar would be correct on iCloud, it would also be correct on your iPad.

  • Factory calendar function

    Hi,
Can someone help me to figure this out.  I deducted 4 days from the requested date and went to factory calendar.  Factory calendar gives next business day (8/1/05) which is not what we want.  Need 4 days before del. date.  Saturday and Sunday in between is throwing the date off. Is there another function to accomplish this.  Thanks in advance for your help.
For example this is what I need:
Requested Del Date = 8/01/05 (monday)
Planned Del Time = 4 days
do not count saturday and sunday - then go back four days 8/01, 7/29, 7/28, 7/27 - planned GI should be 7/26.

    Hi,
Here is a working example using the FM I gave you last time. I used a date of November 28th 2005 as input date and asked the system to back-calculate by 4 days using our custom calendar. Now while 26 and 27 are saturday and sunday, in our custom calendar, 24 and 25 are marked as holidays. So my first previous working day is 23rd November, 2nd is 22nd, and 3rd is 21st, but again I hit Saturday and Sunday on 20th and 19th. So my 4th working day backwards is 18th November. I hope this is what you are looking for and it worked for me.
