Information Broadcasting - Creation - Error in HTML / MHTML format

Hi gurus,
I'm trying to create a Broadcasting for a query with HTML format. All the steps, including the scheduling, were succesfully. But when I click on Execute button, I got the following error message:
The following error text was processed in the system WD4 : The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.
The error occurred on the application server bp1tulap098_WD4_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

I've tried to create it for all the queries, but the same error occurred. I researched here and in the SAP notes but I found nothing about it. Anyone could help me?

Isnt the Broadcasting giving you options on how to do it ie like we have for normal broadcasts in which format we want to send.
Please reply back if it doesnt.

Information broadcasting - precalculation error for BEx workbooks

Hi,
i have problem with Information broadcasting for BEx workbooks 7.0. At the log display of transaction RSRD_ADMIN i get a red status message with " Cannot precalculate workbook XYZ" -> connection transfer did not succeeded.
At the transaction RSPRECADMIN -> show queue (program: RS_PREC_SHOW_QUEUE) , i see that the request is listed as "successful precalculations" (?!)
Some hints:
-Further tests (2 days ago) were successful for workbooks and query email-bursting
-Precalculation server is switching between green and yellow status every refresh
Do you have any ideas or hints?

I would like to suggest you something:
Go to Windows -> Services (Start -> RUN -> Services.msc)
Stop the SAP Precalc. Server
Start the SAP Precal. Server Multi-instance.
ON THE PRECALCULATION SERVER, access your system via SAPGUI and go to RSPRECADMIN.
Then, there is the tip, register 10 times the Precalculation Server with different names.
E.g.
Precalc1
Precalc2
Precalc3
Precalc4
Precalc10
Then, test again.

Information Broadcasting ( sending query in ( HTML format) )

Hi Experts,
I am trying to broadcast one query through Bex Broadcaster in Query Designer.
While doing so it asked for e**l address and for testing purpose i gave my e*il address only.
But I haven't got any mail yet.
I checked in SU01 my m**l id is updated there.
I checked all authorisations its there in PFCG.
While scheduling it was showing CET time format ( 3.5 hrs before us).
So I gave time according to that format only.
Please guide me If I am missing anything.

Error text: ESMTP error code is not known.

Information Broadcasting Zip Error

Hello Forum.
We are facing a problem for broadcasting a query with the dispatch type HTML in the Zip format with the error message "Error When Creating ZIP file (return value 1 when IGS was called ) "
Unable to find the reason and the soultion of the problem.

Information space creation error in BOBJ Explorer

while creating the information space i am getting the following error
Failed to retrieve the data source details.
The creation of the data source object tree failed.
Cannot perform this operation: no valid license found
Looks like a license key issue, but while installing the BOBJ Explorer setup does not asked for any license key,
How to solve this error? How to get the license key and how can i update the license key information?

Information Broadcasting - HTML Only formatting features when opened

I run the query and broadcast the report as HTML in ZIP file.
When I double click on the HTML, it opened up showing text texting codes.
I cannot see the report at all.
Has anyone faces the same problem?
I am expecting a report on the HTML page.

Try to send directly without ZIP format. It may be because of the Zipping, you HTML report has been changed.

Information broadcaster error

Hello all,
I am trying to publish a query in information broadcaster.
all settings are done correctly.
I have selected the Output format to be HTML with a ZIP file.
But when i execute the query I get the following error.
"Error when creating ZIP file (return value 1 when IGS was called) "
How do I get rid of this.? Please help.

Hello,
I tried closing and reopening broadcaster.
The HTML File has to go as a ZIP File. Thats mandatory.
I guess it is a memory problem. Will check with the BASIS guys.

Index Creation Error, while creating Information space

Hi,
I'm trying to create an Information Space in explorer based
off of a Universe created on a Bex Query from SAP BW.
This
Universe is created in Universe design tool based on BW 7.4, gives below error, while creating report in Web Intelligence based on Universe.
Database error: Failed to execute MDX Query.
Reason occured when starting the parser timeout during
allocate/CPC-CALL.
2) In Explorer everything seems to be working fine with the
Information Space creation up until the point where I need to index it. When I click 'Index' it takes about 5-10
seconds and then fails with the following error
Latest indexing failed
Start Date: 2015/02/11 08:51
End Date: 2015/02/11 08:53
Server, BOHDSIA.ExplorerIndexingServer, generated the
following messages:
Index Creation Failed (
The execution of the specified analysis query
failed.-Database error: A database error has occured. (IES 10901)

The Bex Query executes successfully in BEx Analyzer and webi

Error when executing a Query through information Broadcasting

We have configured information Broadcasting in the Web Reports---
Scheduled and then when executing the following error is coming
500 internal server error - Microsoft internet explorer
Error when processing your request
What has happened?
The URL http://xyz.com:8000/sap/bw/BEx was not called due to an error.
Note
The following error text was processed in the system BWD : Please enter a valid value for characteristic 0CALMONTH.
The error occurred on the application server asalbwd_BWD_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
START-OF-SELECTION of program RSRD_BROADCAST_PROCESSOR
What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system BWD in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server asalbwd_BWD_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server asalbwd_BWD_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Other than Fiscal Year/Period Variable....No Variables in that Query..
In FI Queries, I did not use 0CALMONTH Variable...
I do not know why it is giving that error..

Variant Creation in SAP BI To be used information broadcasting

Dear Friends,
I want to create a VARIANT in SAP BI 7.0 Which is to be used in information broadcasting. I found One Document Named as "Variant Creation In SAP BI to be used in Information Broadcasting.pdf",in SDN Forums. I Couldn't able to Understand the Given Steps in it.
Could any one of You Please send me the Procedure how to create a Variant.I should also see the "Determine from Variants" button in Work book precalculation Tab,which i am not able to see it currently under "Workbook Precalculation".

Even I have gone through the SDN document. It is clearly explained step by step. If you follow the same document thoroughly you will be able to see Determine From Variants radio button properly.
Try to understand the document.....you will get the solution.

Information broadcasting in CSV format. Unwanted Headers

I have setup the Information Broadcaster to mail CSV formats of BEx Queries. It is working perfectly , however it also gives me the Query name and Date and Time Stamp when the Data was last updated. How can I get rid of these unwanted information.

In Bex under the Business Explorer / Tools, you should have a Distribute option to distribute workbooks. This should open the web browser based Information Broadcasting inerface which allows you to send a wkbk immediately, or you can schedule the execution and distribution.
I believe with 3.5 SP15 there is an option to distribute as a csv file. I believe the Note has you add an entry to a table that adds csv as an output option, but I think the technical functionality actually exists before SP15.

Information Broadcasting - Error in the Workbook

We are implementing Information broadcasting for the workbook. It works pretty good as far as running the workbook, scheduling the workbook on a precalc server. When we try to email the workbook we get the email but the file is corrupted. We see the following error on the precalc server log,

When we open the workbook we get a message that the excel is corrupted.
Has anyone had similar problems.

Check the below error in the workbook for reference field of the query.

Refresh the work book and check it the values for the column. if you get the same error then check the corresponding reference value of the query. there might be some problems in the query/

Information Broadcasting in MS Excel Format to the users

Hi All,
I am trying to use information broadcasting and send reports in an MS Excel Format to the users.
But could not find any options in SAP 3.5 to send Output in MSExcel to the users..
I read in the SAP Docs that we can send the Excel output in XML format and also WorkBooks...do we require any additional third party Softwares or uograde patches to achieve this?
Please share your experiences on the Above in SAP 3.5.

Getting error message when executing the Information Broadcasting

While I am executing the Information Broadcasting settings, I am getting
the follwoing error:
Processing setting IB
Precalculation failed E
Error occurred during processing of framework class
CL_RSRD_PRODUCER_EXCEL, type PROD
Processing setting IB completed with errors
Job step for user SAPWATCH, language EN ended with errors.
I searched in the www.service.sap.com and found the related notes and
tried to resole by following the steps. But still no use.
For more details please have a look at the attached document.
Please advice me.
