Input help required for parameter on the selection screen

hi all,
i have created two parameters on the selection screen.
1. deptno
2.empname
so my requirement is if i input any deptno then i should get all
the empname corresponding to that deptno in the parameter empname
ie for deptno 10 there should be f4 help for empname.
here i am pasting my code plz check where i am doing wrong--

Ho to disabled the parameter on the selection screen

Hi all,
I have a parameter (p_matnr) and two radiobutton b1 and b2 on the selection screen. Now what the requirement is if user selects radio button b2, the parameter should get disabled. I know it can be done by loop at screen and then modifying the screen but in this case start-of-seection is to be called. In my case as the user selects the radio button b2 the parameter should be appear disabled. the code which is given below will work in that case where user selects the b2 and then press F8. Bu i don't want the user to pres F8. He will only select the b2 and will find the parameter (p_matnr) disabled.
Please suggest something.

Check for entries on the selection screen

if one of the select options is obligatory with no default value then the radio buttons does not work. Can anybody please let me know why. it is the same if i dont make the field obligatory but write code in at selection-screen on block with a error message.

Popup Menu(F1- Help values) is not diaplying for a char at selection screen

Hi,
After executed the query, we are trying to get help (F4) values for info object Employee Group (EMPLGROUP) in the selection screen but it is taking long time nearly 1 hr and getting timed out. And for other Chars we are getting the help popup menu.
for your info...
There are only 6 values are there in Employee Group master data table.
And the characteristic settings in Business Explorer tab are as the following,

Hi,
I am getting the data aslo for Employee Group in the query when I drill down that char.
But I dont know why it is taking long time and getting time out to display the popup menu for help values at selection screen.
I think this is due to the below setting only at char level,
Query Execution Filter Val. Selection u2013 Only Posted Values for Navigation
and there are 3 opstions for the above seeting as below,
1. Only values in master data
2. Only values in Infoprovider
3. Only Posted Values for Navigation
Can any one help me, which opstion will solve the issue and can any one explain me what is the difference between 2 & 3

F4 help in the selection screen from a int table

I collected the datas from the function module. and the internal table is populated.
the internal table contains manny fields.
among these fields i need to take only one field and this field value to be used for F4 help in the selection screen ( not a dynpro)
for example : in the selection screen
I have to select the PO.
based on the user i have filtered the PO. (determined dynamically by using the user name this i have done it)
then i have to assign the PO the selection screen.
which FM will be better to use for this type of scenario and help me out with some example codes particularly for my req

How to get the file name dialog on the selection screen

Hi All
I have a selection screen in which there is a parameter where I need to enter file name. Instead of typing filename in the parameter I would like to give a path from presentation server ( I am downloading Data to presentation server ).
How to achive this functionality in case of a parameter on the selection screen. I need to have File open Dialog box like Windows here and then it should show the filename and it's path in this parameter after selectiong from the dialog box.

The requirement is that in the selection screen if i give the input as 6months in paramenter option field,the employee data for the last six months sud be fetched in the report.And if i give 2 months ..the last 2months employee data sud be fetched by the report.

How to Display my Form in the selection screen.(without print format)

Hi all,
I did one gate pass form and i want to view the form in my selection screen or output screen(just in monitor) as a display by giving one Z-code.
i.e, we can view the form thru Print preview...the same preview, i want to display after i give my parameter in the selection screen.
For example.ZGPOUT if i enter as a t-code.
it should ask my Gate Pass number in the Selection screen...if its right then my Form will come out to the display screen. (instead of going by Print method).,
Pls post ur comment and reply me with examples,if possible.

FISCAL year from Date in the Selection Screen.

Hi Folks,
Is there any function module which returns the Fiscal year if we provide the date in ranges.
I mean, I have a select option for date in the selection screen.So,if a user enters the date say 01042007 01042007 it should return the corresponding fiscal year.

F4 Help for the selection screen field

I have to display F4 help for a selection screen field. i am using following code:

My internal table gi_emp has two fields CODE & TEXT. When i select 1 particular value, it returns the CODE value in the pi_return_tab table.
But my requirement is i have to capture the corresponding TEXT value for the Returned CODE. Ex: following is the F4 help being displayed: -

001    test1
but is i select code 001(First Value), i also need to capture it's corresponding Text value. In return table pi_return_tab i have only Code value.
Please help me out.
Note: Based on return code i can't search into the internal table gi_code, because as shown in the example, code has multiple text.

I think this is what you need. The following code will return the key and the text (OR any other columns), if both columns are in the selection screen the selected values (both columns) will also be passed to the corresponding parameters. If you only need the text to be in the return table and not passed to the selection screen then set the parameter for text with NO-DISPLAY option.

How to get the F4 help for a field in the selection screen

Hi all,
I am working on a report program. In the selection screen, I have the field 'Brand Node ID'(ZNODEID). The requirement is to have the F4 help for this field. This field is available in a 'Z' table ZNODETAB. There is no Value table maintained for the corresponding data element. So, without disturbing the table data element/domain, I should get the F4 help in the selection screen of the report. In the F4 help, data should be fetched from the table ZNODETAB and the field is ZNODEID. Is there any way to do this.
By searching the function modules, I could find that, we can use the FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST. But, I am not Sure. Can someone tell me the parameters to be passed to this function module to get the F4 help and the procedure to follow. S_NODEID is the select option used in the program. Please help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

everytime i try to update my ipod nano, i get an error message saying: 'the software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the iPods software'
i have tried reinstalling my itunes but i am still getting this message.
what do i do?!

When you reinstalled, did you just uninstall iTunes, then download it from apple.com/itunes/download?

Drop down box for the selection screen field of the classical report

i want to have the drop down list to choose from, for the region(table:zbwcntry-field:zregion1) on the selection screen.
what is to be added to the code for this requirement.Also,please note that this is the classical report.
