The line items could have got cleared. You can go to FBL5n and then check the clearing document for these documents you are referring to. Then analyse what have created these documents, if your specific document is coming up in the cleared items list.
Else what I see is that the document that you have posted originally may not have posted. have you checked for any update errors? Firstly try to go to FB03 and see if the original document you posted is coming up. Then go to the header and check what is the clearing document for that document. You can analyse that the how the clearing document has been posted.

  • Post with clearing: FB05  No open items were found

    Hi,
I am using FB05 (have selected 'transfer posting with clearing) to clear the vendor open items and post to a GL account, but I encounter the message 'No open items were found' (Msg F5 170) eventhough the vendor has open  items and morever it is not blocked.
    Any reason why this error.
    Tks,
    SS

There can be any number of reasons why a standard transaction does not pick up open items for your vendor account. Some possible reasons are:
    - outside date range, if you are giving a date range
    - they might be special g/l transactions, not normal line items
    - they migh not be open line items, but noted items
    - the items might not be open anymore when FB05 is being run
Do a little more investigation into your system - we can only give suggestions from here.

  • No Open Items were found

    Hi
I am trying to clear open items using F-44
I am getting an error "No Open Items were found" .
But when i go and see in FBL1N , I can see the open items there.
What can be the reason ?
PS: The posting date of the items is in 2005. Is this causes any problem?
    Thax. for your help.
    -erpMAN-

The most common reason is that the invoice is in a payment run.
try to run a f.80 on the invoice in question ( in test mode) to see if you can reverse it.
If you cant more than likely it will be in a payment run.
Have a look in the payment run tables to confirm this. REGUH & P
Are you sure the document is an open item? Is it in BSIK or BSAK?
    Hope this helps.

  • Incoming EDI payment advise - open item not found

    Hello,
I introduced the process of incoming EDI payment advise but with manual posting by using transaction F-28. Some positions in the EDI PA could
not be assign to an open item. I have a total amount, cash discount and net amount in the position listed. The system posts AKonto the net amount. What I want to do is to post total amount and to adapt the total cash discount.
    For example:
    total amount = 100 €
    cash discount = 20 €
    net amount = 80 €
The posting is actual as a difference to the debitor account with value 80 €. What I would like to have is the possibility to decide that the item is
posted as a difference to the debitor account but with value 100 €. 20 € cash discount should be visible in area "not assigned".
I found User exit EXIT_SAPLIEDP_102 table AVIP parameter "activate cash discount" but it seems that this one has no influence to our needs. Does anybody know if there is any other option to change the system behaviour?
    Thanks so much!

check the posting date of the invoice and payment.
You can enter more, go to edit, select more.
Has one of the entries got a special GL entry.
Lastly if all else fails, on the selection screen enter both document numbers.
If only one appears, make sure it has not been cleared already.

    Dear all,
I am closing this issue since I got the solution apart from the mentioned above.
There is no need to change the Document Type since that will only change the Document type for e.g. from KZ to ZR, nothing will happen in the accounting entry.
Solution was there in the "Posting rule" which i defined for making Cheque Payment.
There are options of "Posting Type" - 1 which is for "Post to G/L Account" - In this case, system will Post the following entry Dr. Outgoing Bank Account & Cr. Main Bank Account without looking for any "Open Item".
Posting Type" - 4 is for "Clear Debit G/L Account", menans that if you are having "Open Items" and you want to clear those then only use this posting key.
While testing I had not posted any payment to vendor in Bank Outgoing Account hence no question of having "Open Items" in Bank Outgoing Account. And I had made the selection of "Posting Type" - 4, which require "Open Items" for direct clearing, hence was getting the subject error.
    This is for everybodies information.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hello!
We have activated business function PSM_USFED_PPAP3, then :
    -  Federal Government Functionality - activated ;
    - settings in Financial Accounting (new)---> Basic Settings --> Ledgers --> Partial clearing on account assignment:
                   - Activate partial clearing by acc.assignment:   Check
                   - Maintain relevant ledger for Split view : no entries maintained (there is only one ledger "FM", which is the leading ledger, no special purpose ledgers)
                   - Set supported document types: KR
                   - Set payment block: B
    Other settings:
         - FM activated, update profile 000101, document splitting (method 00...012), splitting characteristics: vobelnr, knbelnr, fipos, geber, gsber, fkber;
document type KR : business transaction 0300 (vendor invoice).
When we use tcode FMFG_AAPAY no open items are found (message FMFG_AAPAY009), even though there is a vendor invoice posted (tcode FB60, document type KR). The invoice is displayed in FBL1N as an open item and it is split according to the splitting characteristics (e.g. table fagl_splinfo is showing the split vendor items).
Can you, please, explain why there are no open items found in FMFG_AAPAY?
    Thank you!

  • Clearing of open items- inter company transfer

    Dear All,
I made some intercompany postings for vendor open items. When i am clearing the open items (receiver company code) of vendor through F-53 system says " No open items found". But through FBL1N i can see these as open items.

Now the problem, i transfered open item of vendor(1) of 100(Dr) from sender company code(1234) to receiver company code(ABCD) to the vendor(2) 100(Dr).
when i did this transfer sender company open item nulified and the same open item transfer to the receiver company code with open item status.
Now i book one bill on vendor(2) receiver company code (ABCD) for 100(Cr). Now when i am clearing debit amount with credit amount through F-44 system generating a message that "open item not found"
i choose document number in additional selections.

  • Vendor open items Overdue Analysis on top of 0FIAP_C03 ---" NO DATA FOUND"

    Hi All,
I have created a vendor overdue analysis query on top of 0FIAP_C03 same as days overdue analysis on top OFIAR_C03.
But when i am executing vendor open items overdue analysis i am getting " NO APPLICATION DATA FOUND" while my days overdue analysis of FIAR is working.
So can you tell what are changes that need to be made in vendor overdue analysis as i have exactly copied days overdue analysis except here its vendor not customer.
But i checked in ECC side data is there for vendor open item overdue analysis
    Looking for a quick reply.
    With regards,

I assume that there is data in the AP cube and the read pointer is upto date (ie all request are available for reporting)
When doing a list cube on AP can you see the data?
Then if all is fine it is a simple case of going through the RKFs and filters finding out where there is a join failure

  • No open items found

Wheelow Iam trying to make payment using the Transaction F-58, getting below messages eventhough there are open items to make payment
    Messge which iam geting -
" No open items found "
Usually I give al the detials like posting date, document date, Document type - KZ, currecny , company code , text and vendor then i will click on the Tab " Process Open items " . I used to get all open items of that vendor as soon as I click on " Process Open Items " but now iam not able to see the open items which iam supposed to clear and issue the checks for the vendors. As iam unable to get the open items after clickin process open items , iam unable to make payment and print the checks.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help as it is stoping my payments and iam getting calls from my vendors asking for the payments.
Once again thanks for the help.

    Hi,
Have you found open items for the same vendor in FBL1N?
First make sure that, there are open items to be paid. Run FBL1N for that vendor and select check boxes for normal items and spl gl transactions in the selection screen and execute it.
If there are open items, then you will get them in F-58 / F-53.
May be in your case for your vendor, there might be no unpaid items.
Note: It is not mandatory to show the open items, when you click on Process Open items butoon. Only in case of open items lying in the vendor ledger will be shown.
Please enter the spl GL indicators for selection in the selection screen of F-58. if you want more spl gl indicators are to be selected then enter like AF. (A for down payments, F for down payment requests...etc)
This info might help you a lot.
    Thanks,

  • F-53 - No Open Items found

    Hello All,
This is a very strange situation. For a Vendor X, there are 4 open items which are overdue. To pay this over due open items, i'm using F-53 - Post Outgoing payments. But the issue is, After entering all the information on the First Screen of F-53, when I Click on "Process Open Items".  The system is providing a warning message " No Open Items found". There are 4 open items which are normal Open items and not special items.
Please suggest if you've any solution.
    Best Regards
    Abishay Solomon

    Hello,
When you run FBL1N, make sure that those Open items are NOT:
    Noted Items
    Parked Items
    Advances
You should have credit on vendor, but NOT the DEBIT items.
If there are credit items, no reason why it should show the amounts there?
Please check up and let me know.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Unable to Clear Vendor open items in F.13

    Hi All,
We have few vendor codes, where all are having some normal open items as well as Spl GL open items and net balance is 0.
When we do clearing with F-44, No issues at all
But when we try to clear them through F.13, system is grouping normal open items and Spl GL transactions separately.
If i choose  Shortlist (Statistics) in selection screen, then only atleast i will be able to see normal line items in one group and spl gl items in another group.
If i choose, Detailed List with Error Log, i am not able to see anything related to any kind of line items.
So then, i red the documentation of the program SAPF124, in that it says Down payments can only be cleared if down payment clearing for the same amount has been posted.
As we all know that, each spl GL transaction can be cleared against one normal transaction in F-54. But in our case, we never do that practice, and always want to clear spl GL transactions along with normal transactions.
My question is that, Is it mandatory to clear them in F-54 before doing F.13?
As i know, there is an check box option for selecting spl GL transactions in F.13....in this case why should i clear prior to F.13?
    Please advise...
    Regards,
    Srinu

    Hi Gaurav,
    Thanks for your inputs.
I agree with you, but my intention is to know, whether any possibility (change of internal selection criterion for recon account)
to clear them automatically in F.13 without doing F-54 only.
Anyhow i have found two other alternative solutions for the same.
    1) Batch input recording for F-44 in LSMW.
    2) Using worklist instead of vendor code in F-44 to clear all items at one go.
As our business won't follow clearing with F-54, so this requirement may come often.
But only my concern is, they need to identify these cases separately and spend more time to add each vendor code to that worklist, since they are not able to add a range of vendor codes directly. As it allows only single values.
So, is there any other way, which we can suggest them to add 10000+ vendor codes to the same worklist, since we can add 12 codes at one go and repeating the same will take time

    Srinu

  • Difference between cleared items, open items and all postings (FI).

    Hi experts,
Can anybody tell me the difference between cleared items, open items and all postings for an account.
While running corresponding bapis and transaction FAGLL03 (for GL) or FBL1N (for accounts payable) i found that in some cases all postings is less than cleared items or open items for a time period. How could it happen.According to my knowledge all postings should contain cleared items and open items.
    Please correct me..
    Thanks and Regards
    Arjun

    Hi Arjun,
For every Billing Documnet created(VBRK/VBRP-VBELN) there will be an accounting document created in BSID/BSAD tables.
OPEN ITEMS means the Billed/Invoice Amounts that are pending from Customers, i.e which we have to receive from Customers.
CLOSED ITEMS means the AMOUNTS received from that customer.
OPEN ITEMS : fetch data from BSID table Only
CLOSED ITEMS : fetch data from BSAD only.
ALL POSTINGS : fetch data from both BSID and BSAD.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Nitin.

  • ABC-analysis in Open Items report

    Good day, dear experts!
I got a task from my chief to find out how to use menu path "Go to - ABC analysis" in Open Items report FBL1N/FBL5N.
Everything I've found is a message "ABC analysis not possible here", Message no. 0K076, and old-old note for this message 414907.
Do someone use ABC-analysis for open items?
I think it's useless, but maybe I don't understand something...
    Irina

    Hi,
    Nope, it is useful.
Execute FBL1N and select line items (Edit > Select All).
Then click on any amount column.
Then click on Goto > ABC Analysis
You will get the options to classify the line items in the A, B, C categories based on the % creteria etc. on that screen.
