Inspection Lot report

Dear Gurus,
Client needs a report wherein all inspection lots with following status should dispaly in list.
LTIN: Long-term inspection
ICST: Short-term insp. completed
SPCO: Stock Posting Completed
CLQM: Shoterm Classification
STUP: Statistics updated
Please guide as is there any standard report available where we can select status for output display or we have to go for new report development?

Use selection profile and by this you can find the inspection lots by your status choice. Check below statements.
Go to SPRO > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Status Management > Define selection profile.
Use this selection profile in QA32 transaction to view inspection lots of your choice.
Define Selection Profile
In this step, you can define your own selection profiles for inspection lots. You can then use these profiles to find inspection lots by means of their status.
For a detailed guideline, please refer to the chapter Environment, Central Functions, General Status Management, Selection Profile.
Recommendation
You do not have to define your own status profiles to make use of this function, since inspection lots already pass a complete array of system statuses that can be used for selection.
Activities
1. Determine which system statuses and possibly which user statuses the inspection lots can pass. Note that the status profiles for the user statuses can differ depending on the inspection type.
2. Determine which logical links of these statuses result in relevant selection profiles, and define these profiles.

  • Standard report to check transfer quantity from inspection lot

    Hi All,
    Upon good receipts using movement type 101, an inspection lot will be created automatically in the system.
    After that, inspection results and usage decision will be done.
    So at the end, if I display that particular inspection lot using QA03, in the "Insp. lot quantities" tab, when I click at button "Mat. doc", I will be able to display the transfer material document stating transfer from which storage location to which storage location and how much is the quantity.
    For reports checking purpose, I need to check every Inspection lot created and then have to know the final destination and how much is the quantity. It doesn't make sense if I have to click one by one from QA03.
    Please advice whether there is a standard report for this or any other way possible.

    I have checked your suggestion, but QA33 failed to accomodate my request.
    I want to show the material documents created from the inspection instead of the material document during good receipt.
    So, I want to link inspection lot, goods transfer material document created and the quantity transfered from the inspection.

  • Standard Report for all inspection lots

    Dear all,
    Pls guide me from where I can retrieve the data for result recorded for MIC, inspection lot wise.
    Actually currently working for Pharma company where we are using, Inspection Plan (task list type Q), with inspection point 200 u2013 Physical sample. Materials are being managed through Batches, so each inspection lot is having separate batch number.
    Now the requirement is to find a STD sap report that can retrieve us the result for a material for all the inspection lots (Batches) it have, in the report type from where I can down load it to word/excel.
    In short, the report should contain, Material, results for all MICs under all inspection lots.
    I have already tried out;
    QGP1 but it shoe the result for only a MIC at a time.
    QGA2 but not able to visualize results for all MICs at once.
    MCXB but, gives only the quantity of MICs not the results of it.

    The requriement is to have results for the Inspection lots only, not for the batch values.
    The report MCXD is giving the quantitative analysis for the batches, I will be very pleased if you suggest me any report that gives me the results (values entered during result recording) of these MICs, inspection lot wise, just as the MCXD give quantitative.
    I think the term BATCH is creating confusion, that is Y u have suggested me CL03N, but as I have mentioned eariler also, currenlt working with Pharma company, where each manufacturing lot is give a batch number, (in sap terminology the Batch management function, MSC1N), that is why i freauently used BATCH. Sorry for that communicational error from my side, and I am very much thank full to you for your each valuable comment, suggestion.

  • [QM] How to create an inspection lot with task list assigned?

    Hello, everyone.
    I know, the similar questions have been asked plenty of times, but I am still unable to find a suitable receipe of the inspection lot creation. My goal is to create an inspection lot programmatically and be able to record its results using, e.g., BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.
    Creating a lot does not appear to be a big problem. I just call the following FMs:
    QPL1_INITIALIZE
    QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE
    QPL1_UPDATE_MEMORY
    QPL1_INSPECTION_LOTS_POSTING
    BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
    As a result, I have a new shiny inspectin lot, but it comes with statuses "CRTD" and "CHCR". I do specify PLNAL and PLNNR fields values for the QALS structure which is passed to QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE, but that does not seem to have any effect. When I call BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS later (result values and inspection points come from another lot which is used as a template), it reports of beging unable to find characteristics for the inspection operations (error E026).
    Does anyone know which of the QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE parameters affect task list assignment besides PLNAL and PLNR? Or maybe there is a special FM which associates a task list with an inspection lot?

    You can get create an Agent as a Task by using the following steps:
    1. Go to Customizing --> EHS --> Industrial Hygiene & safety --> Risk Assessment --> Specify Agent Types
    2. Click on "TASK' Agent type and click on Details icon (CtrlShiftF2)
    3. In the "Only EHS-IHS" drop down, Select "No"
    4. Save the entry
    5. Now try creating an Agent [CBIH92] and you can create an Agent as a Task.

  • How partial inspection is done for a inspection lot & vendor payment done based on inspection result

    Dear Gurus,
    In our business 1000 bag material is received in one material document. So one Inspection lot is created.
    Now business take randomly 10 bags from that 1000 bag & inspected. The Bags are inspected on various parameters such as Weight , Fabric , Valve Size , Cross Sec Area, Print Quality , Stitching Thread , etc . The values for all this types of parameters are prepared in an excel sheet in a prescribed format.
    The Values for each Quality Parameters are then matched with the desired prescribed average figures.
    Based on the Values which deviate from "Average" figures , deductions are computed
    Logic is 1% for single defect in a bag for 1 parameter . Likewise if more defects is found then add 1% in multiples
    e.g 1% + 5 defects then .05 * basic Raw material cost .
    This figure along with proper description is recorded under "Remarks" column of the report format and send to Accounts department for the
      deduction process from Vendor
    we need to capture the inspection parameters in system as per the above process.
    And please tell me how I configure this process in SAP .

    Hi Bubai,
    you can create a QM Control Key (which is used to QM View of Material Master) which you have to set the indicator Block Invoice. This indicator is blocked invoice with blocking reason I (I = Inspection) if there is still no usage decision for the inspection lot or the inspection lot is reject.
    (SPRO -> Quality Management -> QM in Logistics -> QM in Procurement -> Define Control Keys).

  • UD made but inspection lot quantities in WM are wrong

    On the same day, we received two shipments of the same batch of material from a vendor.  Inspection Lot A  = 119cs.  Inspection Lot B = 13cs.  A total of 132cs. BEFORE materials actually were placed in WM bin locations, our Quality Group instructed the Receiving department to break down the pallets - and separate goods by Julian Date.  (Quality became aware in advance that a certain Julian Date was bad.)  The two inspection lots (one pallet each) turned into 6 locations based on Julian and Receiving erroneously scanned all in as Inspection Lot B.
    Not realizing this would create a WM problem, Quality made usage decisions on both inspection lots.  Is correcting the Actual Lot quantity an option? We can't clear TR Zones.  System reports because UD has been made, we can't adjust lot quantities.  If I try QA12 to change the UD, I don't see how to reverse it so inventory is Q.  Thanks in advance.

    As the UD = A has already been posted, please can you check if the TR is possible to be cleared and complete stock is posted to unrestricted use stock. Then manually post the faulty material stock form unrestricted stock to blocked stock. This process should create correct WM postings (TR/TO/Confirmation).

  • QM_DISCONTINUED INSPECTION LOTS IN MCVA

    Dear QM experts,
    When we execute MCVA report one can get the information about discontinued lots. Can anybody tell from where we can get the details of discontinued inspection lots? I tried through Extras->inspection lots option in MCVA. Unfortunately it gives the list of all inspection lots and not only of discontinued lots.
    I guess while recording results in QA32 if the Results Record Status of any of the MICs does not reach to 5 i.e. processing is completed, it reflects in to MCVA report under discontinued lots column. Can we have a list of such inspection lots whose processing have not been completed? Any tables?

    Hi Anand,
    You can get the list of inspection lots with UD but no result recording with tcode QA32 .
    You have to create the selection profile for this.
    - Go to SPRO - Quality management - Quality inspection - Status managemnt - Define selection profile.
    - create new entry
    - give some name and description
    - double click on selection condition to add following condition
    - in status field add RREC (that is Results confirmed)
    - tick checkbox  not (this is to select insp lot without result recording)
    - Save
    Now in QA32, use this selection profile. Select radio button Select lots with usage decision .
    Thus you will get what you need.

  • Material document posted on the same inspection lot but using another batch

    Hi, May I request your assistance with regards to our issues on iinspection lot For this inspection lot, there were three movements created. When doing Usage Decision, it is reporting that there are still remaining quantity 13,332.413 LPA open in the inspection lot using batch X But checking in MMBE, the amount is in batch Y and there is no remaining qty in batch X. can you help me UD the inspection lot?     Hi Sarah,
    In UD screen, there is a message next to "insp End Date" that is " Actual Quantity of lot is greater than lot quantity". I guess, actual quantity has been changed using transaction QAC1.
    Kindly check for corresponding entries in MB51.
    There might be inconsistency between QM and MM stock.
    Use Sap Note 48815 and check for any inconsistencies.

    need an additional field in QA32 to allot the Inspection lot generated to the Inspector for the purpose of rating the inspectors by running a report.
    Also needs to appear  a drawing document number against the respective inspection lot which should also appear in the reports run at the QA32 screen.

    If I have understood your question correctly you want inspections lots which has been passed as
    1) Normal Accepted
    2) Accepted with Deviation ( Force fully !!!)
    3) Accepted but quarantine
    Its matter of UD code design and same should get selected in Selected set
    In QMIS reports you can search inspection lots having specfic UD code

  • UD @ Inspection Lot  clearence

    we are taking the Usade Decision for the In-warding Materials through QA32.
    While clearing the lot there are Option to move the stock to different storage locations as follows,
    OK Qty - to the specified location
    Blocked Qty - to Blocked Location of the specified storage location(350 mov.typ.)
    Rejected/Scrap Qty - To scrap Location (555 mov.typ.)
    but there is scenario were some of the qty are need to send for Re-work process, if we moved to blocked location again need to take to un.res. use location to raise 541 mov, typ (Sent to Vendor) and also not able to get the summary and aging  report for the same.
    want to move these Re-work Qty to Re-work location from Inspection Lot. How to do it. whats the right option for it.
    Plz propose any other option to do it.

    Dear check as per Mr.M.Alagesan reply SPRO --> QM --> Quality inspection --> Inspection lot completion --> Define Inventory postings here you can difine the rework location and try check in sandbox and revert.
    Check these inputs also from SAP help with your technical guy for any issues.
    In this case, SAP cannot guarantee that all of the possible variants for quantity postings will function perfectly without program modification. If necessary, you may have to use the function enhancement (customer exit) QEVA0001 to achieve your aims.
    Use the keys VMENGE08 for additional quantity postings. Key VMENGE09 is reserved for SAP.
    These quantity postings appear on the screen when you make the usage decision.
    You can define the descriptions of these postings individually in project management for the function enhancements (transaction CMOD). Use the function "Global enhancements/Change keywords" to modify the data elements, e.g. QVMENGE08. Unfortunately, these adjustments are not visible in the Implementation Guide. They only have effect in the transaction for the usage decision.

  • Deleted delivery and inspection lot  tracking

    dear all,
    i have an issue please guide me
    the senario is
    At my client , there is a delivery happening in  vl01n i will pick the required quanity  and  send the lot to the QM  for final doc audit then after the QC is passed it will released from the QM then i will do the Post Goods Issue .
    the problem is here in the client    i have created  a delivery document and i have picked the quantity and  issued for the final doc audit report , during that time the goods which have been picked will be in the Scheduled for delivery .
    Now if the quality check fails for( final doc auidit ( ie for pallletization ) or some nails and packing is not done properaly ) it has to go for rework for the final doc auidit .
    If the quantity is rejected and gone for rework.    i will have to delete the delivery document  and create a fresh delivery doccument .
    because only if i delete the delivery document  what ever the quanity is there in the Scheduled for delivery will be  moved backed to the Bonded store .
    and then only it is possible for the goods to be picked and send for QC and after QC pass  PGI will be done
    My problem is  is there any connection can be done from the deleted delivery document and the fresh delivery document
    so that
    i can able to track the inspection lot  generated in the both the deliveries   i.e ( the deleted one and the fresh delivery document for which the PGI is done )
    Based on this i can create a  zreport for the QCheck  , becasue the client wants to  have  a link between the inspection lots generated between the two delivery documents and based on that they wanted to track the inspection lot

    regarding  the link between two  delivery documents , as you are deleting the delivery the delivery document  is not there in any table so you wont get the link even in the document flow table. or delivery table .
    So its not feasible to generate link.
    I would suggest a different approach ,pl investigate more before you go ahead,
    You can have   seperate storage locations one with internal QC ,Other FG store and third final dispatch or BSR store.
    When material is transferred from production to quallity store a inspection lot is generated .once it is cleared QM will have stocks in FG store .Materials in FG store should be availble for final audit and only material which is approved in all respects in transferred to BSR store from where it is immediately dispatched. so QM and other departments can always access the stock in QM for internal inspection , rework an dfinal dispatch through store location instead of delivery tracking.

  • QA13..Inspection lot status should be UD without result

    Hello Guys,
    One of our client want report  to show for the inspection lot for which UD is done, And there is no results in the Result column in Transaction:QA13,Those records need to display in the report.
    But report was developed ,we are getting only the valuated once without result and ud is done.One more requirement is that non valuated once with UD,Without result should also display in the report.
    Normally logic is like this from table :QALS with ud we are passing to QAMR table..But we are not getting the non valuated once in this table.
    Can any one explain how we need to get the non valuated once in the report.Is there any table or Function Module where we can able to look into.

    Dear Kumar,
    Without result recording has many interpretations. Suppose you have 2 MICs (LENGTH and WIDTH) in a particular lot and you have to enter 5 readings for each MIC. Letu2019s have a look on following cases.
    1.     Not a single reading is entered for any of the MICs.
    2.     Readings have been recorded for all samples for only 1 or partial MICs. (All the 5 readings for LENGTH are entered and no readings are entered for WIDTH)
    3.     Partial readings are recorded for all MICs. (2 readings for LENGTH and 3 readings for WIDTH are recorded)
    4.     All the readings have been entered but none of the MICs have been valuated up to status 5. (5 readings for LENGTH and WIDTH entered but you have not valuated / closed MIC)
    The logic for report changes based on above assumptions.
    1.     If you do not get data in QAMR table, it means result recording is not all done. Not for a single reading is entered.
    2.     QAMR is for getting the information about Results Record Status. i.e. whether MIC is set for processing or MIC is closed and valuated.
    3.     I think, you must explore QASE table also. QASE if for individual MIC readings.
    4.     Test the effect of result recording in both the tables for a particular inspection lot and develop logic accordingly. But the definition of NO RR should be finalized first.

    I want to add new field in QA32 transaction under inspection lot stock tab or under characteristic tab.
    The reason behind is: Depends upon UD decision i want to assing customer name. So already we are having one Z Report for all the lots against this lot we have to display customer name.
    So in order to fetch customer name in the Z report we want to assing customer through F4 selection in the usage decision  screen.
    I know this is possibe for Make to order scenario, but our senario is make to stock.
    Please advice your valuable inputs.
