Install date , posting date of an equipment

Hello All,
I have a requirement for my ALV to display a red light if there is a difference of more than 3 in between install date and posting date. For example if the equipment was install on 2008.01.25 and the posting date is 2008.01.29 than I should have a red light indicating that more than 3 days have passed.
Now I have some confusion about the install date and posting date of an equipment: is DATAB in EQUZ table install date? And for posting date, I am checking the CDPOS (cluster table) field UDATE? Is this correct.
Any ideas if I am going towards the right solution or not??? Also install date changes location by location for the equipment. How to get all these data? is there any other table I can look into?

Hi Mate,
Its really difficult to do get the installed date of the patches as there is no table available in SCCM DB to pull this info i had a requirement in the past but i was unable to do had done it via work around.
This can be done after editing of sms_def.mof file or else using the power-shell script in windows server 2008 where the powershell is a feature by default.
H/W inventory:
For the 2000 servers this has to be installed but if we enable this its mentioned it may utilize upto 100 % of the Memory during the h/w inventory you can check that in your SMS_DEF.MOF -

Find Windows Install Date

Hello,
I'm trying to create an inventory report that lists the "Windows Install date" on all my PC's.
Is ZEN capable of generating a report like this? I'm not seeing anything when trying to create a custom report??

SCCM Reporting: Software Updates / Apllication the "Installed date" is missing or null in reports

When the “V_GS_Add_Remove_Programs” or “V_GS_Quick_Fix_Engineering” queried for installed date (the views that contains information on updates/application
installed date), the “installDate0” Column returns “Null” or is
"blank" on most of the rows.
The machine in this example is “X”
2. As you can see from the machines X's add remove Programs installed Date is given clearly.
Appreciate your help on this as its for an audit report of windows updates and applications installed date, I know that some applications do not populate this value but my argument is if its visible from Programs and Features why isn't the data being collected.

OUI-10150 While installing Data Vault

I am trying to install data vault on 11g Rel2 RAC. When i run runInstaller (source/runInstaller) from software directory the installer given error OUI-10150. Also when i check installed products the summary shows that Oracle Data Vault is installed.
Any help ?

I recently upgraded to iWork v9.0.3, but when I access each applications the versions are different (i.e. Pages V.4.1, Numbers V2.6, Keynote V5.1.1) with a install date of 3/18/09 -- which is not the current install date of 2 weeks ago. Why?

With this discrepancy, how can I determine if the latest was installed and operational? I even downloading v9.0.4, 9.0.5, and 9.1. When I tried installing these downloads it popped up note stating that a later version of Keynote was already installed.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

Install data from external hard drive?

Hi, we have our old macbook data saved on external hard drive (old laptop had water damage but able to retrieve data). I now have new macbook, how do I install data from external hard drive to new macbook? Is it super easy? I didn't want to set up new laptop until I could understand how to install all our old data. Do you have the appropriate cable to connect the external drive to to new Macbook?
If you do, the rest is easy. Connect the drive and start up the new Mac. The first steps in the setup will be to enter information about yourself, etc. etc. As you proceed you will be asked if you want to bring in data from another place. Just follow the directions, and the Mac Setup Assistant will do everything for you.
The critical part is making sure the external is corectly connected to the new computer.

How to install Data Insight on remote server

I am working in an enviorinement in which Data Services has been installed on remote server and i access it using Remote desktop. Now i need to install Data Insight and i am not sure where should Data Insight be installed. should it be installed on my local machine or on remote server. If on remote server, can i install it from my local machine?

Windows Server 2008 doesn't show install date

In Programs and Features, you can have more options by right click on the tabbed window showing Name, Publisher and Installed on. May be you can check that once otherwise try to reinstall the features using Turn Windows features on /off.

How do I delete OS X install data

I have installed OS X Mavericks on a external hard drive. It gives me the ability to see my macintosh hd hard drive but I can't delete anything. On another forum it said it would fix everything with the hard drive if the 'os x install data' folder was renamed or deleted. But as I can't delete it, I can't fix it. Does anyone know how to delete that folder??

The topic has been much debated and analyzed over the last days / weeks. You must boot iinto SL install DVD (restart and, after chime, press C key or option key, then wait to see the boot options, then choose DVD), choose the install language, then go to the upper Apple bar, run Disk Utility, choose the disk on the left side, then reformat it with 1 partition or more, if you want more partitions. Repartitioning the disk will erase everything on the disk, including Lion recovery partition. Now you may install SL.
Warning: this will ERASE ALL YOUR DISK, so make a backup first.
I do not think Lion is so bad as you say, I have the feeling that many problems arise because Lion default installation is via upgrading SL, which may lead to numerous incompatibility issues. Using the same procedure, you may have an erase-and-install option for Lion. In order to do this, copy Lion installer on a flash drive, and install from there; when options are displayed, choose to run Disk Utility first, and erase the disk. This will install a pure version of Lion.
IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, backup your essential data, at least via simply copying them unto an external drive / flash / dvd etc. Note that, as I understand, Time Machine will not restore a downgraded volume (Lion to SL), am not sure, because I do not use it. I prefer iBackup (grapefruiit.ch). Such apps have the advantage of restoring system settings to, so you do not waste time to reset your system.
Erase-and-install method is also shorter than upgrade, but—I repeat—backup your data first.

in IP24 use the multiple selection to select all the equipment and in the selection screen under maintenance dates select maintenance status as W/ and execute system will display the next planned date for the equipment selected -But with all the call object which are on hold

Software install date is incorrect in SCCM report

Both tables "v_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE_CATEGORIZED" and "v_Add_Remove_Programs" (InstallDate0) are showing when a patch was last installed instead of showing the initial installation date for the software. For instance, even on my machine,
the control panel shows Acrobat as installed on 6/12/2014 when it was actually installed over a year ago. Is there another table or location on the computer I can get the correct install date info from?

All ConfigMgr can do is gather the data from Windows. Is there another place in ConfigMgr, no just as Garth says. Is there another place in Windows? Doubtful.
Is there a reason this is significant?

Fresh install leaves locked folder at top level (Mac OS X Install Data)

I jsut did a fresh install. wanted to use my SL DVD but the MBP i5 refused to star with it so I used the original DVD (10.5) and upgraded with the SL DVD to 10.6. However after the initial SL Installation, it tried from the SL DVD and this failed. I did a manual restart, starting from the HD and everything ran fine. however today I note there is a locked file on the HD named Mac OS X Install Data. It contains 181 .pkg files.
Now I suppose this should have been moved or deleted as part of the install process.
Does anybody have an idea if this is indeed a install failure? Can I move them to a file where they belong? Could it be my install DVD is funked? Or any other suggestions?

Remains the quesion if one can remove the aformentioned folder.
I believe the folder is part of the 'preinstall' for Snow Leopard -- it should contain items the installer creates on the hard drive before the Mac automatically restarts from the DVD to complete the installation. It should only contain items referenced by the installer & should have been deleted at the end of a successful install.
Without knowing exactly what you installed over what (still not quite sure about that) I can only guess, but if everything is running fine, there should be no issues if you remove it.
Alternately, you could just run the installer again, making sure you used the one that came with that MBP.

if its not in there its not supported.
I made the experience that it somethimes work installing a BO product on a not supported UNIX OS. But that was mainly BOE not DS.
Maybe you can install DS on open Solaris but you wont get support for it.
If you really need to know when or if open solaris is supported than i would suggest you raise a Support MEssage at SAP.
