Install Info Object 0BSTAT from business content

Hi Guys,
I am trying to install info object 0BSTAT from business content , i have selected the options
                             grouing "only necessary obects"   "start automaticall" "Hierarchy" ad dragged info obect from left side into collected objects and selected the install and trasport option form Install, assigned the trasnport also, it didn't give any errpor message but info object is not getting activated.
An body had the expericence with this issue, please share you ideas how to fix the issue.

I looked at the log 
Log is:
Installation of: Onfo Object (IOBJ)
You onl have authroization to display info object 0BSTAT
Transfer/Merge of the content version (Object Type Infoobject)
Activation of obects with type Info Obect
Saving Objects with type Infoobject
Transferring the 1 objects from type IOBJ took 0.4 seconds
Post-Processing of objects after activation
The post-processing lasts 0.0 seconds
Object IOBJ 0BSTAT was written to order/task EWD*******
You onl have authroization to display info object 0BSTAT
I looked at the SU53 also  there is one error message  related to info object BSTAT
Currently aunthorization Field  ACTVT Activit is   "23"
Does this mean i don't have autorization to install of info obects, do wee need any special activity is required in the for installing info object
Please suggest me how to proceed.

    Hi daniel,
    Inorder to  install the business object, you will be require to follow the following steps :
    i)Go to RSA1 (Admistrator Workbench) for installing the Business Content. Navigate to object you want to install. Now you want to install the info object then select Info Object.
    ii)Select your Info Object say 0MATL_GROUP (material Group).Click on Transfer selections.
    iii)Now when the info object is selected. It will always be in default selection (Only Necessary object), Now if you want to install the various other things like data source, transformation rule etc as you specify in query
    iv) For that go to grouping select IN DATAFLOW BEFORE AND AFTERWARDS. One more thing If you want to specify the Source system then u can do it by clicking on that Yellow Box (symbol specify the source system) adjacent to BEx (Truck Symbol). This mainly used for the things like transformation, update rule etc  as you want.
    v)Now you want to see if there can be some predictive error then go Install  --> Simulate Installation.
    vi)Now important point to note is MATCH(X) or COPY. Now suppose you already have the Material Group install in your system in Active version. Now here if you didnu2019t select the MATCH check box then your   A-version Material Group will be overwritten by the D-version Material group provided by SAP.
    vii)For ur more understanding lets take the example say  you have  added two customer specific attribute to Material Group now twist is SAP has also just release the enhance material Group with two additional attribute. Now  you are very curious of getting this two attribute in your already active Material Group. For this you will be required to install the material Group from Business content. If you forget to check the Match option then your customer specific attribute will be lost. So to retain them we have to check the MATCH(X)

  • Problem in Installing/ Activating 0SD_C03 Infocube from Business Content

    Hello Friends,
    I am installing an InfoCube 0SD_C03 from Business Content in our BW Development environmant. I first installed "Only the Necessary Components". This took 3 hrs. AFterwards I picked "Before Option" and it kept running for 14 hrs, without completeing. In the last I stopped it to minimize the performance impact to anybody.
    My question is, do you also face any such problem of installation running for hours and hours? How have you handled its resolution.
    Finally, I broken my task into various component and I am installing component by component (e.g. Transfer Rule, Update Riles etc. etc.). But while doing so, human errors are possible and I may miss something. Also we would not like the same activation runs for hours in Production.. So there
    Could you share some of your rich experience and possible resolution. Thanks for your help.

    Friends,
    Necessary components took 2-3 hrs. I am running "before option" this weekend and will find out Monday. Running on weekend will not impact anybody.
    I am communicating with Basis Team and they are aware of this problem.
    In my previous organization, even Before Option will complete in 2 hrs (maximum). I guess there are multiple factors for jobs running so slow. Of course, I am following all rules of the Game!!

  • How to activate the Info object catalog in Business content

    Hi,
      While trying to activate the Info object catalog, I found that some of the info objects under this catalog was earlier activated by some other developer. I brought this catalog (0SALES_CHA01) over to the Business content activation panel ( with only 'necessary object settings ) and all the info objects that also came along  were de-selected since I didn't want to install those again). When I tried to install these I get an error indicating that some of the info object in question are not already active.. and ultimately the catalog doesn’t get activated , although more than half of its infoobjects are already active under the '0CHANOTASSIGNED' node.
    Please let me know whether I can get only the Catalog activated without getting any existing activated info object merged or installing those which are not already activated.

    Hello Arunava,
    Just drag the infoobject catalog as u did earlier to the left in the bus cont installation screen with "only necessary object" option.
    Dont try to deselect any object. Go ahead with the default options and install in background.
    Now you can check for the available objects in the catalog. if you have some objects missing, and available in unassigned node,double click on the newly installed infoobject catalog, select the required objects (which are not yet assigned to this) from the left side and bring them to the right side.
    this will make the unassigned objects assigned to the required catalog.

  • Problem while installing a query from Business Content

    Hi all of you,
    I am trying to install this particular query Inventory Turnover from the cube 0IC_C03 (Material/Stock Movements) from Business Content. Now in the third pane in Business Content under Active version available column across the name of this cube there is a calendar symbol.
    a.     So does it mean that the cube 0IC_C03 (Material/Stock Movements) is installed along with all the objects that are dependent on the cube and all those objects on which the cube is dependent. (NOTE: I had selected the grouping option as “In data flow afterwars”)
    b.     When I collapse Query Element I find that some of the queries are not installed. So I expanded Inventory Turnover query, right clicked on it and selected Install All Below.
    c.     I am getting this error, “Abort system error in program SAPLRRI2 and form LI_SETZEN-01-“ when I execute the query Inventory Turnover. However in Business Content when I installed the report Inventory Turnover under the cube Material Stock/Movement I didn’t get any error anywhere. Everything was activated successfully without any errors.
    Please tell me how do I install this Inventory Turnover from business content and how do I execute this report from BEx.

    Thank you for that quick reply. I want to activate only the query and not the cube. I did as you advise me but still I am getting the same error when I run the Inventory turnover report from BEx.
    I am able to run other reports from the cube IC_C03. But not this report Inventory turnover. I have also checked the cube and there is data in the cube.

    Hello experts!
    I want to activate ODS-Object 0AUBPVEH from Business Content. With this ODS I have to activate InfoObject 0AUVEHICLE which has 0MATERIAL as an attribute. Our experts told me, that it is not really possible to activate the ODS-Object with using our existing 0MATERIAL and without activation of the new version of 0MATERIAL.
    Can someone help here?

  • Error in installing process chain from Business Content.

    Dear Experts,
    I have successfully installed the Technical Content from Business Content and now trying to install Content Master Data process chain for info package for the same but its showing error.
    <b>Technical Name for Process Chain : 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01</b>
    Error after instaling from BI Content : <b>Process AND has no predecessor.</b>
    Finally, while checking in RSPC it comes the name of Process Chain but its not showing anything.
    Also, one more thing is I am trying to install in development system and if that occurs successfully than transport to production as production directly don't wanted to do.

    ithink u have not activated the process chainafter creating the process chain u might have saved it with out activating the process cahin so that is the reason why it is showing name name but northing in the chain first activate the cahin then it iwill show

    I am trying to install Infoobject catalog 0MMIC_CHA01 and 0MMIC_KYF01 from business content
    The error messages appearing are as follows:

  • Install info object from D version to A version

    HI,
    I am trying to install the infl objects from D version to A version. I have selected Grouping mode(Only necessary obects0 B default, Collection mode (Collect automatically) Didsplay (Hierarchy mode) and dragged the in fo objects from left side to right side into collected obects and selected install mode (Install and transport) , i gave the trsport also and installed, but ater install if i see in RSD1 still it is in D version only, not in active version only.
    Do i need to any other steps required to install info object from D version to A version. Please suggest me if i mssing some thing.

    if you want to install only the info objects, follow the steps
    click the source system icon on the top
    click on objects type under bi content
    select collection mode automatically
    select only necessary objects, under grouping
    expand your info object and select your info object and transfer
    check the box , in front  of info object
    install in in back ground.
    by default display is hierarchy.
    check the job in sm37, when the status is finished only you can check the info object,
    if still it is D version then goto rsd1 , give the info object name and make it active.

    We have already active infoobject in  DEV,but due to some bugs it is not getting to make any changes.
    IF we re activate it from business content will there be any impact on the existing one.
    What are the steps to reactive from Business content.

    You can install it.
    Select the check boxes.
    Install: To install the object and to overwrite the installed one.
    Match/Copy: It will not overwrite the existing one. It will match with the Properties of the existing Object.

    Check the list of other objects which are also getting installed with the cube.You can also check the default settings before you install.Probabaly you are loading something extra which is not desired as a part of this Infocube.

  • Update rules not getting installed from business content.

    Hello,
    One more major issue I am seeing is that my update rules for some cubes (0PUR_C01)are not getting installed at all from business content and the errors i am getting are like datasource 0vendor_text not maintained and then there is long list of such red lights. when actually I can see most of the datasources active in the datasource tab on BW side.
    So i dont know how to get these update rules working.

  • Activate Update Rules from Business Content

    Hello,
    I am trying to install 0QM_C10 from business content. Every thing works fine except there are no update rules (there are 3 info sources for this cube). I am new to this and it doesn't make sense for me to manually create (ofcourse the system does the proposal) update rules. Since that is lot of work. I was expecting some transaction / tool where I can activate the update rules from the Business Content (since I can see the update rules in the business content under "Display Description". Is there any tool like that?
    Or, am I doing some thing wrong so the update rules are not automatically installed from the business content along with Cube and info sources?
    Note: I did separate installation for cubes as well as info sources from business content using Grouping by "Only necessary objects" option.
