Install of bundled product

Hi everyone--
I have previously been using Photoshop Elements 6 (Windows version) but recently purchased the bundled product that contains Photoshop Elements 11 AND Premier Elements 11. 
I just tried to install and realized that each one is installed separately.  As part of the new install, I understand that I need to convert my "old" Photoshop Elements 6 catalog.  I know this is done when I open up Photoshop Elements 11 for the first time.
My confusion is over what will happen after I install Premier Elements 11.  My assumption all along with the "bundled" product is that there would be one organizer for both photos and videos.  Is that not the case with the bundled product? Are there 2 separate organizers -- one for photos and the other for videos (hopefully not).  My hope is that this is not the case.  However, if it is, does that mean I have a completely separate catalog for videos? My current catalog from Photoshop Elements 6 contains both photos and videos (even though I didn't have Premier Elements previously). 
At this point I have only installed Photoshop Elments 11on my laptop and NOT the Premier elements portion.  I was going to convert my catalog so I could open it up in Photoshop Elements 11. However, before doing so, I was hoping to get some clarification on whether indeed there will be 2 separate organizers for each product.  If so, I am not sure how I separate out the videos from my current collection as they are all together at this time.
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Not to worry - PSE and PRE both use the same catalog and Organizer - so convert away!

A google search of the problem suggested it may be an error related to the number of times I can reinstall this product due to licensing issues.  Please help.

    Absolutely not. You are misinterpreting things. The activation check never happens when just running the installer, only much later. It means what it says - there is another "install" pending/ active on your system, meaning somewhere there is an (invisible) process still blocking things. Either way, since you haven't provided any real technical info, we can't advise specifically. if you are on Windows, you may want to check your task manager and terminate any setup.exe and msiexec.exe processes plus potentially may need to manually fix/ delete some registry keys. For anything beyond that you will have to be much more specific.

    For example If I had purchased the creative cloud membership and my computer has been smashed, when I by a new one will I be able to use the creative cloud on that one and install my applications again and again if my computer keeps breaking because I read that you can only install the same product up to two machines, but what happens when my computer becomes outdated and I want a new one will I be able to use all my applications on it?

    You can. There is no limit for installation, only simultaneous activation, and for this, you can have 2.
    As long as you don't move your license from computer to computer every hour or every day, you shouldn't have any issues.

    This is a user to user forum, so much of your complaining is misdirected.
    Trial versions are no different than regular versions.  Most people start off with the trial version and convert it to a fully licensed version after they have tried it out.  A trial version is converted into a fully licensed version by activating it with the serial number you receive.

  • Fail to install O365 additional product once some already installed

    Hi community,
    I have following issue trying to install additional O365 product in case some product already present on my virtual machine(VM). I mean I can install several products at once e.g. OfficeProPlus, Visio and Project. But in case OfficeProPlus already installed
    installation of Visio or Project fails. running installation using admin account with UI I get error code 255-11 and a message "Something went wrong". If I launch silent installation without UI under SYSTEM account (using psexec) installation exits
    with error code 17002.
    VM is a clean Windows 7 installation with only C++ Redist, .Net and Silverlight installed. In my case I'm using O365 Project and O365 Visio. It actually installed by same downloaded installation media. I mean Office, Project, Visio and SharePoint
    designer installed from same installation media using C2R installer and different XML files.
    The log file my client version is too low. But the client is installed together with Office software and when I launch for example Word and go File -> Account menu and try to Update it nothing happen as the Office version is already the latest one.
    Not sure what am I doing wrong. Could you please assist me with any advice?
    O365 is a latest version:15.0.4631.1002
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX86\OfficeClickToRun.exe is version 15.0.4631.1001
    Click2Run setup.exe version latest present on MS download web page: 15.0.4623.1001

    Hi,
    As per the log, it seems your current client version doesn't match the version of Office that you are trying to install.
    Please go to update your existing Office 365 Pro Plus and make sure you have the matched version then try again and verify result.
    You can try to do a online repair to your existing office program, that's the basic troubleshooting to repair error 255-11.

    I have a question regarding service bundle products. We want to bring service bundle product from Oracle BRM to Siebel. When I check the implementation notes, it says that Service bundle product is not synchronized.
    In PIP COMM 2.4, is there any change? Can we synchronize the bundle products too? If it is yes, please let me know how to do that.

    Hi Kathir,
    Correct we only synchronize products and discounts from BRM to Siebel via AIA. We have not changed this implementation in 2.4 also. Service bundles and promotions are defined in Siebel as part of data enrichment.

    I previously had PS CS5 Trial installed but removed it using both Control Panel Programs and deleting all files from the CS5 directory on Program Files.  I then installed a purchased product from Adobe disc using the serial number on the case.  But when I try to launch it, I get a screen headed Photoshop CS5 Extended Trial.  It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired.  It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product".  It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed.  How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

    Let me know how it goes. Go into your Adobe account and register your serial number asap.

    That way, should you lose it or you need support, it is on record that it's yours and you can fetch your s/n it from anywhere.
    There are too may sad stories here, where people forgot and the box is buried or lost.

  • Unable to install any adobe products

    I am having problems installing any adobe products. This is a newly imaged laptop. No software was in stalled. Just windows update. Windows Ultimate 64bit. HP 6565b. I cant install flash player 16.xxxx or reader or shock wave.  it downloads but when the installer box shows up its is a black box and not install bar. This is not the only computer with this issue. I have 4 others doing the same thing, all different makes and models.anyone with ideas?

    Removed Reader and tried to reinstall, no luck.
    Now my copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro will not run or reinstall.
    I have spend over an hour with Adobe tech support only to be told that they will escalate it to someone else.
