Install SSAS and SQL on an Active-Active Cluster

I have to install SQL 2014 and SSAS on a 2-node FCI and I'd like to have SQL running on one node and SSAS on the other one so I can accomplish an Active-Active Cluster.
Is there any ste-by-step guide to do this?

Yes, you can have SQL Service running on one node and SSAS running on another node. In the truest sense its never active-active. But if you consider both nodes are active with different services rather than just staying passive then its fine.
Just that you install each of these in two different groups.

I would like to see a list of installed addons and settings (manual/mandatory/active etc.).

The Addon information is split between the SBO-COMMON database (which holds details of which addons are installed on the whole system) and the OARI and ARI1 company tables which hold information on which addons are enabled in the current company and what user-specific startup settings have been defined:

The query above will show you details on the addons defined in Addon Administration in the current company. If any users have a startup option that is different from default then they will be shown as separate records. If all the users have the defaul settings for the addon then you'll see a single row of the addon with null values in the user columns.
Note: Make sure you don't return the ABinary column in the [SBO-COMMON]..SARI table. This column holds a binary copy of the addon installer and can be MBs in size which will make the query very slow.

SQL Reporting Services is not the same as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
SQL Reporting Services refers to an Azure service that lets users develop reports in the cloud. However, it is being retired in Oct. 2014, so you'll want to stay away from that.
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is the reporting module that is part of SQL Server. This is a sophisticated tool that lets developers create and publish reports that users can access through various methods. It has schedule and refresh capabilities,
and can leverage SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). You'd most likely use SSRS if you're creating sophisticated reports and queries that you don't want your users creating.
SQL Report Builder is a report creation tool designed for users who want to stay in Microsoft Office. It can be used by developers or end users.

Both environments let you create reports that can be shared (published) on a report server or through SharePoint.
So it's really a matter of what you're most comfortable using.

I have Two Questions
Should SCCM 2012 and SQL be installed on the same server?

What size should my partition be for OS and SCCM either way?
I have a server running esxi.
One option I have would be to install SCCM and SQL on one (VM server) with Server 2012 OS. Its will be 8 processors and 32 RAM.
Option two will be to split into two VM's One running SCCM 2012 with 4 processors 16 Ram and another VM running SQL with 4 processors and 16 RAM
My environment is small, 3,500 users
ThanksFor the SQL question, you will probably get as many answers as there are ConfigMgr admins. I typically co-locate SQL on the site server. As long as enough CPU, disk, and memory resources are allocated, this should be fine. Consider limiting
SQL's maximum memory use to a reasonable amount based on the environment. Many times the answer to the question depends on the environment and how database administration is handled.

For the disk partition question, I always install ConfigMgr on a separate partition. Keep in mind that a distribution point will be installed as well. You don't want content for ConfigMgr filling up the OS partition. Use the no_sms_on_drive.sms
file to prevent DP content from being stored on your OS partition.

I've installed CS6 and web Premium on a Mac running 10.9.5, and Dreamweaver,Flash and Illustrator wont launch. All other components work normally. In Activity monitor it says Adobe switchboard failed to respond. Can anyone help solve this issue?

I have paid Bell to unlock my old iphone4 and they have said it is now unlocked. Can I skip the back up and restore process and just buy another carriers sim card from my daugther Kodoo plan, install it and active the iphone4 on itunes account in her name?

Backup the phone, Erase it, connect to iTunes for the unlock process, then your iProfile can be restored.
You can go ahead and get the SIM, bout you have to Erase the phone and connect to iTunes before it will be unlocked. -

According to your description, you want to add SQL Srever Data Tools, SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis Services to your existing installation, so you click SQL Server Installation Center and choose Installation and New SQL Server,
nad now you are guided to choose file, right?
In this case, you need to choose the folder which contains SQL Server installation media. I have tested it on my local environment, after select correct folder and click "Ok" button, everything works fine.

How do I activate Acrobat XPro- I've installed CS6 Premium on my computer and Acrobat does not work and says its not activated. It is listed on the programs on the computer but will not respond. How do I fix this?????? Help Adobe?????

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

Downloaded photoshop elements 12, installed ok and activated, started it and splash screen displayed and app launched then shutdown immediately.
Repeat and crashes again. Help it won't start!Solved! Tried everything in the support documents and none of it worked. Massive frustration with Adobe Chat staff who know nothing and just kept telling me to look at the support documents over and over. They also gave me a contact number in Australia that has a recorde d message saying the product is not supported! What is that about?
Finally Anand from Adobe tech support called me (from when I reopened the original support case that gave me the serial number).
Just had to rename folder SLCache in c:\program files(x86) and reaccept the EULA and reactive. Now everything works fine. Way to hard. -

if i run my windows without parallels my windows and my office is activated ,but if i run my parallels then my windows and my office can not be activated .

i had installed windows an parallel desktop several times ,also i installed several times parallel tools with menu bar in parallels desk top and when i am installing parallels desktop tools in any way i can see the (CTRL+ALT )
all of my application in windows works properly through parallels desktop except
activation of office and windows .

I have an active subscription but everytime I open the program it says trial expired. I have installed, reinstalled, and installed again. I have also installed the windows registry patch.
It wouldn't install for nearly 5 times I tried to do this. Now it's finally installed again but it won't budge past the trial version. I click BUY NOW but then it says "error you already have a subscription" then it times out and just stays on the Trial Expired page.Hey kushlar,
Please log out from your Adobe application and login again.
Once you launch Acrobat and get error saying trial expired, you will find an option saying 'license this software'.
Select this option and enter your credentials.
Now check and let me know.

When iWorks for iCloud Beta become available I subscribed to it. After that I become unable to access iCloud at all as in all my devices I get messages to install it and other apps (find my phone, etc) that are already active. Anyone could help?
The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone. -

I bought and legally own PS CS3. Installed on a desktop and the machine died completely. Downloaded a trial of CS3 from Adobe site. Went to activate and said too many activations. Activate over the phone. EXCEPT Adobe does not handle activation issues over the phone. Adobe doesn't care about their older products - they don't care that I spent hundreds of dollars for CS3. This is truly disgusting corporate behavior. Is there anything I can do? We aren't all rich photographers. I paid a great deal of money for this product. Is it now useless?Thank you,
