Installing and bring up pages to the database

I just loaded 10.2.0.1 and went thru fine on a Windows clusted box. I started the EM from the start\programs menu and waited. I have no interface to the database or way to bring the database up. Please advise.

Firstly, to control the databases when you have no access to Grid Control you should use the command line (always a safe fallback option :) You mentioned a Windows platform so:
1a) click Start/run/ type in "cmd" and click ok.
If your enviroment variables are set, you can just type "sqlplus / as sysdba" to connect to the database
1b)If not, you can set them yourself by setting the ORACLE_SID and ORACLE_HOME
"set ORACLE_SID=<RepositoryDB>"
"set ORACLE_HOME=<RepositoryDB home>"
2)once you are sql plus, you can just use the startup and shutdown commands
Secondly,
If you can not manage to get Grid Control open, it may be because the services are not correctly started.
Repeat the steps of 1b) above in order to ensure the correct environment variables are set before completing the next tasks.
1)from the oms home, switch into the bin directory and type in the following commands:
emctl start oms
emctl start iasconsole
2)Switch into the bin directory of the agent home and type in:
emctl start agent
After performing these commands, try your web link again. If there are any problems, paste any errors you encountered and also the URL that you were trying to connect to.

I just created a document in Pages. Now when I try to open my document in Pages I am given a message that I need a newer version of Pages to open it. When I go to the Appstore it shows that I have already downloaded the latest version.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Ive just learned that i can use loadjava to load jsp pages into the database. How is that possible. How can someone go to my lets say, index.jsp page and actually see it if its inside the database? What authenticates it? Where would you set the parameters to tell http(apache) to look inside the db for the pages?
Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. If I put the file on the database, does it have to be in a particular location? I've put it on the database server, launched sql*plus (as APPS) and ran the following:
execute dbms_java.loadjava('-v', 'ZebraGetPrinterFromXML.class');
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.Then when I try to run a process that uses this I get this:
ORA-29540: class ZebraGetPrinterFromXML does not exist

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

I am trying to download new version of iTunes from App store having purchased it on my laptop. When I try to download on my iMac I get the following message:

Also, since upgrading to Lion my videos (from Sanyo Xacti camera) do not play on iTunes. I can only open photos.

Can i install windows 7 via bootcamp (MB Air) while using remote disc? I put the windows 7 disk in my macbook pro drive, and connect to my brand new macbook air. In bootcamp i allocate the partition then i click install and bootcamp will not see the disk.

The remote disk on my air can find the cd but bootcamp will not begin installing it. Anyway to do this without buying the damned usb drive?

I don't know first hand if you can use the Remote Disk option with Windows but as of 10.7.2 you can now use BCAssistant to make a bootable USB (thumb drive or external disk) W7 installer with the Boot Camp drivers installed also. Have you tried that yet?

How do you activate a 10.10.3 download. I have downloaded twice (2 gig each) and have restarted as instructed. I have also rebooted. "About this Mac' still reports 10.10.2 installed and I do not have the new photo app.

I have downloaded 1010.3 twice (2+gig each). The update window shows the 10.10.3 update has been installed, however, 'About this Mac' shows 10.10.2 installed and I don't have the new 'photo' app installed. Once more, the quality of Apple software approaches that of Microsoft - letting the user debug instead of delivering the quality that used to be Apple.
How do I activate the downloaded update.

There may well be a problem with the update package. I initially tried downloading the delta update (not the combo) from the Apple Support web site, and when I opened the package file, the installer ran but terminated almost immediately. I restarted and only got the normal reboot process, not the "Installing software" display. After restarting, I saw some evidence that the firmware updater was cleaning up some files, but nothing else appeared to have happened except that the 1.5Gb package file and a couple small subsidiary files had been left under /Library/Updates/_ManualUpdate.
I tried running the command line softwareupdate tool to see if it would recognize the already-downloaded package file (which is something you might also want to try before downloading again just in case it works), but no such luck. I then relented and used App Store, and that downloaded again and then performed the update successfully.
Of course, then I had to horse around with turning off all the "photos in the cloud" nonsense, but that's another story.

3rd time trying to download additional content for mainstage....takes 15-20 hours each time...then asks for my password/id for permission...starts installing and about 1/4 of the way..it dissapears and nothing is installed....confused and frustrated..:-(

Are you updating from the App Store when you get that error message?
If so, thry using the 10.9.2 Combo update -> http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726.
