Insufficient Transfer Engine Resources

I have an app with 2 (eventually 3) AVT Pike 100C cameras and Vista with LV 8.6.  I am getting the Insufficient Transfer Engine error when I call Configure Acquisition on the second camera.
I have reviewed and tried the solutions in this thread, but I still get the error:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=200&thread.id=12460&view=by_date_ascending&page=1
Some notes:
These cameras have a FIFO, and I am using that to capture just a few images in a deferred image transfer mode.  So throughput is not important.
I have set each camera's bus speed to 400Mbps.  I have set each packet size to 1024 bytes.  The cameras are  daisy-chained on the only 1394 bus I have on this laptop
I have set the bus parameters both through the IMADdx driver, via MAX and by setting registers.  Each method appears to affect the others (that is, I can set the packet size via the enumerated interface, and see the result by reading the appropriate register on the camera).
Solved!

By the way, when you insert your image, don't get the source from the preview of your message.  It doesn't work because the preview is a temporary location.  You have to submit the message with the attachments included.  That gives you the permanent web server location and message ID.  Then you can edit the message and insert the images based on their location on the webserver.

  • Insufficient transfer engine resources

I am using Vision Acquisition Software(2011) to acquire images from basler scA640-70fc(firewire) on a Windows XP- 32 bit system. I can grab at upto 30fps. If I switch the mode to acquire 60fps it gives error Insufficient transfer engine resources. How to resolve this problem?

If you have any other Firewire cameras iny our system, remove them.  A firewire device will reserve bandwidth for itself even when it is not in use.
The majority of Firewire implementations use a single controller for multiple ports meaning that the bandwidth is shared.  Simply unplugging the extra devices may solve your problem.  The other solution is to install either a second Firewire controller or search for a provider of Firewire cards with a dedicated controller per port (these are quite rare).

  • Error 0xbff69018

    hola

    "L'erreur -1074360296 s'est produite à : IMAQdx Configure Acquisition.vi
    Raisons possibles :
NI-IMAQdx: (Hex 0xBFF69018) Insufficient transfer engine resources."
    Merci.

  • Integration Model - Resource Transfer to APO

    Hi,
When i transfer a resource from R/3 to APO the data is transferred to APO but not to the active version.
Instead it sits in APO as model independent version i.e without a version number.
Please let me know how this happens and how to overcome this ? I want the data to be available in version 000
    BVN**

    Hi Valavan,
I assume your issue is related to only the changes made to R/3 Resources and not for new Resources.
There is a customizing setting in R/3 to control this. Use trns. CFC9 and set the value 'N' for the 'Change Transf. Mode’ field. This will ensure any changes to Resource in R/3 will also be released to 000 version in APO. If the value is 'X' the changes are released only to model independent version.

  • MRSS- ERROR HR RESOURCES TRANSFER TO MRS

    Hi Experts!.
I am writing to see if anyone can guide me I'm transferring resources from HR to planner
I do it by means of the function /MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF
The resources are created in MRS but not their working hours. The infotype 0007 is associated with the resource
The function displays the window without results as you can see in the picture below.
In MRS Transaction /MRSS/PLBOORG the resource schedules appear unavailable.
Any idea what may be happening?...
    Thanks
    Regards
    Damy Vidal

    Hi Savas!.
The problem came about because I configured the time in Spanish.
In /MRSS/IMG, HR Integration->Configure Settings for HR Integration (ERP)
    these should be in English.
    Must be.... WORK, WORK_BREAK.
Also when times are not updated in the transfer of resources is because to stuck queues in the system, you must be configured as shown in the following link:
Inbound Queue Processing in SAP Multiresource Scheduling - SAP Multiresource Scheduling - SAP Library

  • How do I Separate my resources from the application

Am am writing an application with several large resource files which I want to be able to transfer to my phone separatly from the application. This is so I can update the application without having to transfer the resource files.
    How is this done?
How do I connect to a separate resource in my program. At the moment I use
    InputStream is =getClass().getResourceAsStream("MyResourceName");
where "MyResourceName" is the path to a resource packaged up with the application.

  • Multi Resource Scheduling (MRS) - resources not visible on Gantt chart mode

I need your expertise help to resolve this issue.
We are on MRSS 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
When I run transaction /MRSS/PLBOORG, I am able to see the demands show up.
However from resources point of view, I can see them on a table based planning but not able to see the resources in the Gantt chart mode.
The user interface profile (for layout) is set up for 'Planning board for DPD Gantt' as well as for 'Planning board for Resources'.
Reports to transfer the resources from ECC to MRS have been executed.
Any help to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Venky

    Hi Mark,
    Check the following:
    1) You have run the report /MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF with transfer qualifications as checked. I guess (from your other post) this data is going in own HR box instead of MRS box (due to RFC issue)
    Check the table: /MRS/D_BAS_REQ
If you solve the RFC problem, this should get solved automatically.
    2) When you created a Requirement profile, you need to attach it on the "Internal" tab of the operation
    Now check following:
    1) Right click on demand and select "Required Qualifications" -- It should show the qualifications
    2) Right click on Resource and select "Qualifications" -- It should show skills of resource
If 1 fails - Order Qualifications are not transferred !!
If 2 fails - Resource qualifications are not transferred - RFC issue (may be)
If both are there then the suitable resource should work.
If both 1 and 2 are not there then 100 % result is correct -- Because from the demand side no skill is required so each resource is qualified to do the job...

  • Recruiter resources (CVs/Postings) are to be transferred to new Recruiter

    Hi Experts,
I have a strange issue in E-recruitment Module.
A recruiter has posted & published certain Job Openings for internal Candidates (Employees) and subsequently he received resumes as employees applied for those posts.
Now, the present Recruiter has left the orgqanization and the new recruiter (as a replacement of the earlier one) have to have his resources (Postings & Resumes) transferred in his E-rec Rec-Recruiter Login on Portal. The earlier recruiter has already left the organisation and his portal Login Credentials have been removed so the new recruiter can not use his Login to see & act on the resources he has collected till date (Postings & Resumes received as response to those postings).
I am sure there must be some provision to view/transfer such resources from one User ID to other in E-recruitment as this is a very common scenario of "Charge/ Resource Handover at the time of Separation from an Organization" . However, I am not aware about the way to execute this task and therefore seek help of you experts.
May I request the experts to guide on how to complete this task?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Amit Linge

    Hi Amit,
Administrator can very well assign the new support team or add support team.
.      In the services of your work overview, choose Adjust Support Team under User Management.
           2.      In the selection criteria, specify which support teams you would like to change and choose Search. The system displays a list of the requisitions, application groups, or talent groups for which you can adjust the support teams.
           3.      Select one or more entries in the list and then choose Start.
           4.      If you want to change the assignment of an individual, proceed as follows:
                                a.      Select the Individual radio button.
                                b.      Specify the personnel number of the person whose assignment you want to change in the support teams of the selected objects.
                                c.      Assign a role within the support team to the person.
                                d.      Choose Add if you want to add the person in the specified role to the support teams for the selected objects, or choose Delete if you want to delete the assignments.

  • MRS - Resources and demands are not visible in the Planning Board

Hi Friends - I am working on the the MRSS 610. We have installed it on the our ECC 6.0 as an add-on. We have configured the system as per the configuration guide.
But when I am accessing Manageru2019s Planning Board -  /MRSS/PLBOMGR , using the Organization unit, I am getting Notification saying that the resources assigned to the Organization unit are not available in the MRS.
"Resource 00000000010000000000000000000000 not yet created in the WFM Core"
The details of the Error message
"Resource 00000000010000000000000000000000 not yet created in the WFM Core
    Message no. /MRSS/SGE034
    Diagnosis
Resource 00000000010000000000000000000000 has not yet been created in MRS.
    System Response
No assignments have been created for resource 00000000010000000000000000000000, even though, according to the organizational model, this resource is to be taken into consideration in the planning board.
    Procedure

    Procedure for System Administration
Create the resource in question in MRS."
    I have run the Report
/MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF : Transfers the HR data (availability times, qualifications and the resources itself) into the MRS Basis
But even after that I am not getting the resources in the planning board.
Also I am not able to view the Demands from PM/CS orders.
I have created PM Orders and
Assigned Work centres to the operations and
assigned the Resources to the Operations.
The HR assignment to the work center is also done.
I have tried T Code   /MRSS/PLBOSRV - Enter the MRS planning board using a specified order
to pull the order demand. But it is not working
    Its giving following message
1004280 is not a valid demand
    Message no. /MRSS/SGU139
    Diagnosis
The order does not exist in MRS.
    This may be because:
The order number has an invalid format.
    The order does not exist.
The order is not relevant for planning and has therefore not been transferred to MRS.
The order has been deleted from MRS.
    Pls help me on this.
Thanks in advance and warm regards
    Purnendu

Hi Anil/Saurabh - Thanks a lot for your replies.
I have checked the MRS configuration as per your suggestion.
It looks fine as per the configuration guide. I have done the PM/CS integration for Orders as demand.
But the Demands are not visible on the Planning Board.
I have checked in the debugging mode what is causing the problem - It looks like
"The Database Table: /mrss/d_dem_h  needs entry"
But there are no entries in this table.
I could not find any Customizing transactions or Application transactions for maintaining this table. This is an Application Table for Master and Transaction Data and its Display and Maintenance allowed with Restriction.
I could not also find any transaction for transferring Demand from ECC(R/3) to MRS.
How do I maintain entries in this table?
How do I transfer Demand from ECC to MRS?
Saurabh - I have also been not able to transfer HR Resources from ECC to MRS.
We don't have WFM Core installed in our instance. But MRS should work fine without WFM. MRS Basis should take care of it.
To transfer Employee resources i have run the Program " /MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF". But when I execute the transaction with the selection parameters system shows that it is processing (Clock at the bottom Status bar) but it does not shows any result or status.
So I am not sure whether it is executing the program properly.
Pls help me resolve these issues.
    Thanks and warm regards

  • MRS (Multi Resource Scheduling) - Integrating HR with MRS

The way I read page 14 of the MRS Implementation Documentation (version 1.5...MRS610 SP05) I should not have to move HR mini-masters into my ERP box where my customer will run MRS. All we should have to do to take advantage of the HR records is to:
    1. install MRS on the HR box;
    2. define the RFC in configuration on the HR box to point to the MRS system; and,
    3. run program /MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF in the HR box to move the necessary data from the HR records to the MRS tables in the MRS system.
The customer does not want to use MRS to post back to HR so that side of this is not an issue so the RFC configuration pointing to the HR box should not be needed.
On the other hand, I still need to link each personnel record to a "technician" work center so I'm assuming that while the work schedule may be transfered to MRS directly from the HR box to MRS Basis, I still need an HR record of some kind in my MRS system for that link.
Is this correct? Has anyone else done this?
    Mark

    Varun,
I understand that it is good for HCM and MRS to be running on the same box but in my experience that is rarely the case.  In fact, every company I have ever dealt with has their HR data on a box different from their ERP/MRS box.  That is certainly the case with the customer I am currently working with.  What I am trying to figure out, given that HCM and MRS are running on seperate boxes, is:
    1.  Is it required to put MRS on the HCM box and run the /MRSS/HCM_TPTWFMIF Transfer Report from the HCM box in order to transfer the resource availability data to the MRS box?  If so, then for the HR records that must be in the MRS box is it still necessary to have Info Types 0000, 0001, 0002, and 0007 for each record or can 0007 be left out since the availability data is coming from the HCM box?
    2.  If it is still necessary to have Info Types 0000, 0001, 0002, and 0007 for each HR record in the MRS box then what is the value of putting MRS on the HCM box and running the /MRSS/HCM_TPTWFMIF Transfer Report from the HCM box?  All the data needed for the transfer report will exist in the MRS box with the HR records there and the report can just be rurn against the HR records in the MRS box.
    Thanks,
    Mark
P.S.  Thanks for you patience.  My sense is that we are coming at this from different points of view which is why I'm still a bit confused.

  • Sample JAVA code using Resource Adapter for RFC Connections

    Hi Java Knowledgeable Ones.
I have successfully deployed the SAP Netweaver J2ee Engine "Resource Adapter for RFC Connections to ABAP Systems" to my Web Application Server.  Now I need to develop a JAVA application that would utilize this deployed resource adapter.  The resource adapter specifies the SAPClient, UserName, and password.  I am thinking that the JAVA code to invoke this connection would therefore not need to provide this information as it should be available in the resource adapter.
Do you have sample code that you could send to me showing how to do this?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
this is actually no good style! You should not open the connection with the adaptor knowing the password. Usually it should work via a connection that uses only basic rights  and the user has already authenticated and is using his security ticket.
    For security handling see:

  • Changing mode priority of transfered alternate resources in pds

Is there a user exit or badi that can change the mode priority of the alternate resource that is CIFed from r3 to apo.
As it is all the resources have the same mode priority when it is CIFed.
    Thanks,
    CY

    Hi Ian,
The note you specified seems to indicate the use of alternate sequences in r3 routing to transfer alt resource.
In my case i was using the resource classification method to transfer the alt resource.
I also looked at the related notes but don't seem to find one related to using resource classification OR maybe i am wrong in that both the alt sequence and resource classification method is the same?
    Thanks for the info anyway.

  • Mapping labour resource in ppds

    Hi
I want to map labour resource with labour time fetching in order at the time of scheduling in ppds. Please help me how to achieve this..
    my schenario is as....
normally i have 50 labour resources, but due to some problem only 30 labour resource came....how i can utilise these 30 resources so that my machine utilisation will be maximum and i will be able to meet my requirement...
please let me know for further clarification...
    Regards
    pradeepta

    Hi Santosh,
You have to maintain one more capacity with category 002 in ECC with available capacity & formula to calculate the capacity. When you transfer this resource to APO apart from the machine resource, labor resource will also be transferred to APO.
When you use this resource (machine) in recipe and transfer this recipe into APO, it will reflect as secondary resource in APO PPM.
When orders are scheduled for machine you also get the requirement of labor.
Scheduling formula does not contain the parameter for labor; hence the primary resource & secondary resource consumption are same.
If the labor houru2019s requirements are different than the processing time of operation, you can try to change capacity consumption data manually for secondary resource in PPM.
If worker are not required in to give their full attention to one machine only but a pool of worker operate a couple of machine which required more attention at certain movements i.e. loading/unloading or set-up. you can create a pooled capacity in ECC system, which can be assigned to may work centers. The capacity is transferred as resource to APO and modeled as multi-mixed resource (no-dimension).

  • A Tale of Woe --- Infinity Installation

It's now over a month since I originally ordered infinity and telephone with BT, and I have neither - both have never worked at all. There have been multiple failings on the part of BT, from two engineer visits (who failed to properly document the fault) and the technical faults team (who did not listen to me, did not record information properly and did not properly assess the fault).
I've been very patient and polite throughout the whole endeavour; however I’m now being told that I have to wait another month to have my broadband and phone line installed. This is not acceptable, and is over 2 months since I originally ordered! If BT had listened to me, or functioned in any type of efficient manner, my situation would now be resolved. I can't even find the correct place to document a complaint, so public is always best.
    Timeline.
14/12/2013. Ordered Unlimited BT Infinity 2 and phone line. THIS IS A COMPLETELY NEW INSTALLATION. We had just moved into a new property, and have NOT had a broadband or telephone connection before at a previous property.
24/12/2013. Engineer arrived to install broad & phone. He failed to get anything (either phone line or broadband) working. He said that there was an issue with PCP. The line had been set up on the incorrect "green box" - one that was over a mile away, instead of the box just down the road from us. He said, it looked as though the line had been transferred from the previous owners to us, instead of being set up new. He said that he would report this back to BT, as it required an Openreach engineer to sort it out. HE DID NOT DO THIS.
27/12/2013. I called BT, and went through an automated system. This tested the line and found a fault on the line, generating an automated response for the fault on both the phone line and the broadband.
27/12/2013. I called BT again, as I was sure that I should explain what had happened with the engineer (and explain the problem with the PCP) - I was confident that the automated system would not be enough to get this problem fixed in the most efficient way. I was told that a general fault had been found in BT's network, and that it would be fixed on the 06/01/2014. Instead of listening to me about the issue with the PCP (which had been explained to me by the engineer), the CSO bluntly refused to take the issue further, stating that it was a "general problem in BT's network" that would resolve my issue once dealt with. As above, this is NOT a BT network problem, it is a problem that is specifically to do with the property and how it's been routed. I was told that if it did not resolve the problem I would be entitled to "compensation" - which I am now due. I specifically asked the CSO to make a note of this on the file.
02/01/2014. The Broadband fault was closed with absolutely zero feedback to myself or anyone looking into it.
02/01/2014. I contacted BT via chat so see why the broadband fault had been closed when it was not working. I was told that the broadband would not work with the phone line error. No explanation as to why it had been closed was forthcoming. CSO was blunt and unhelpful.
06/01/2014. The Openreach engineer arrived. Lo and behold, he told me EXACTLY the same thing as the previous engineer - the whole set up from the beginning was incorrect. We have been set up on the wrong PCP, and the line needs to be set up again from the sales end. He did a 5 minute line test and then left. I had to wait 10 days, for a 5 minute chat to tell me something that I already knew, and that, had the CSO I spoke to on the 27th listened to me, would probably be fixed by now. THE ENGINEER DID NOT REPORT THIS.
07/01/2014. Once again it was up to me to contact BT to have the matter resolved. Spoke to tech help and requested that this matter be looked into urgently. I was told that the engineers marked the fault as fixed – contrary to what the engineer himself told me yesterday. Apparently this “fault” needs to be sent back AGAIN to the engineers to get reinvestigated, and I would be contacted in 24 hours. I said that I would like to hear back within one hour (as I just keep getting fobbed off), and the CSO “Ratna” agreed that I would be contacted at the time specified today by them or their supervisor. The call-back came (2 hours late), which was then apparently too late for the CSO to contact the relevant team and hear back from them today – so they will be calling me tomorrow. BT has now agreed that there is a “cabling issue”.
08/01/2014. Had a call from BT at 1pm today – unfortunately this was during my lunch break and I missed it. No message was left to inform of what it was regarding, or what the call-back number was.
08/01/2014. Spent half an hour in a queue waiting to speak to a chat agent only to be told (when I reached number 1 on the queue), that the session had been cancelled as there we “no agents available”
08/01/2014. Went through the chat queue again however Ratna had apparently gone home for the day, so I spoke to Sanjog instead. I was then told that the engineers need more time to check the fault and that I would get a call back tomorrow. Sanjog then proceeded to reject the “cleared” mark on the fault (again?), and tell me that the engineering team close at 5 so he would be unable to contact them now.
10/01/2014. Didn’t get a call back yesterday, so spoke to chat again today. I was told that the line was connected to the wrong distribution point (as I told the BT on the 27th December), and that the technical faults team would be unable to deal with it. I was then told that I would need to speak to customer options, and that they would need to place a new order for the line. The CSO on chat, then called me to transfer me to customer options. After about half an hour on hold, I spoke to the same CSO, and was told that customer options would actually be unable to deal with it, and that she would need to send an email to the engineers and that they would be contacting me directly today.
10/01/2014. Spoke to the sales team this afternoon who went through the process of setting up a new order. I was told that I would need to wait until the 27th January for the engineers to come out to install the new line. Half way through setting up the order I was put on hold and the line cut out after about 10 minutes.
10/01/2014. I expected an immediate call back to complete the order however this did not occur. Instead, it was left up to me to call back and spend an hour on the phone trying to find someone to complete the order. I eventually found the same operator who completed the order for me. I was then told that I would need to wait until 25th February 2014 for the new line to be installed. I said this was not good enough (and she agreed) as it was nearly a month since placing the original order, so she sent an “email” to her manager, who would call me back to arrange a much closer date for the installation.
14/01/2014. I never received a phone call from BT, so it was once again up to me to call and explain the same thing again, to try and have someone bring the installation date forward. I spoke to order management who (once again agreed) that the time I had been waiting was beyond ridiculous. So had to “email” an escalation claim to OpenReach in order to try to get that date pushed forward, which she did.
16/01/2014. I actually got a call back from BT! However, it was simply a rejection message “All engineering resource in your area has been allocated to work on repairs to the network as a result of the recent bad weather across the uk”. So they were unable to bring the date of the appointment forward. I find this hard to believe that BT cannot spare one engineer for < 1 hour to install a new line for me, given the huge amount of time it’s taken to get to this point.
    Summary of Failings:
I was told what the issues were by two separate engineers. A new line had to be installed to the nearest PCP by placing a new order with sales. Neither properly documented this with the faults team or followed up on what needed doing. It was left up to me to try and explain.
The faults team categorically dismissed everything I said, and did their own thing. By following that processes, it took over 2 weeks for the original fault with the line to be discovered. If either the engineers had properly documented the faults, or the faults team had listened to me at the very beginning of the process, the new line would have been set up, and I would now have broadband.
On multiple occasions I did not receive call-backs that were promised and it was left up to me to contact BT. This was a failure on all fronts, technical support, engineers and sales were all supposed to call me at some point, including management, supervisors and CSO’s. This is a failure from bottom to top.
All correspondence between different teams appears to have been completed via email. I asked on multiple occasions to have the matter resolved there and then, and was always told that it would take 24 to 48 hours to complete. This is ridiculous that apparently the teams have no direct line of communication. It would have taken a 5 minute conversation with the correct person to sort out the entire mess.
    What Now?
So, who do I contact to complain about this? I've had enough of the useless chat & telephone CSO's, and I'm not going to wait 14 days for a response from a letter. Does BT not have a complaints email address?

Why is so hard to complain to BT?
I just went round in circles with a chat representative who categorically refused to put me on to their manager. It states in BT's complaints procedure that:
"We aim to resolve your problem to your complete satisfaction as quickly as possible. If we can't resolve your problem immediately we will agree a course of action with you."
I've now been waiting 3 days to be contacted via the forums mods. I would hope that this has been processed as an "expedite" case, due to the fact that it's been over a month since the original order was made. This is neither quick, nor satisfactory.
I just want to speak to a manger who has the ability to do something. I'm  absolutely fed up of being fobbed off by CSO's. Take a quick look at the chat transcript below if you fancy a lesson in how not to deal with a customer who would like to complain. . .
    *Transcript Removed.
The "complaints specialist" CSO above did absolutely nothing to resolve my complaint and then closed the chat session!
This is seriously bad practice ^^ BT's complaints team are not even following their own complaints guidelines.
I really hope that this is an isolated case. If all cases are dealt with such disdain then BT will be suffering a Class Action Lawsuit against them in the near future. I've now wasted such a huge amount of time trying to get this issue sorted satisfactorily and not one single person in BT cares.
