Insufficient buffer error in LV for running CIN matrix multiplication

We have developed a CIN for LabVIEW application in which we carry out matrix multiplication. We are able to carry out multiplication of 3x3 matrices in the LV environment using the CIN. The LV application gives error for higher order of matrices indicating insufficient buffer. However the c source code (from which the CIN  has been compiled) does not give any such error while executing higher order matrix multiplication in the C environment. How do we calculate and define the required Buffer memory in LV environment for such applications. Similar problems may arise in numerous other applications in LV environment. Pl. suggest ways and means to get over this problem.

It
seems strange that only a 3*3 matrix would be possible. So the
conclusion is you do something wrong in your CIN. This could be some
difference in the CIN parameters for the CIN node in comparison to what
the CIN actually does or it could be a bug in the CIN itself most
probably in the adaption of your C type algorithme to the LabVIEW
datatype parameters.

  • Error in url for running forms

    Whenever I try to run a form on the web from Form Builder 9i (Patch 3), it generates a URL like
    http://%%20"http://strexler-us.us.oracle.com:8888/forms90/...&RENDER=YES"
    including the embedded " marks, etc. The page cannot be accessed unless I delete the first twelve characters and the trailing ".
    I suspect this may be happening because over a year ago I installed an Oracle9i R2 database on this machine and specified the character set of the database as UTF-16. I have since uninstalled this database.
    I later installed an instance of Oracle9i R2 with NLS_LANG set to AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252, which is what the registry currently shows. This is Home 0.
    After installing this instance of the database, I then installed 9iDS R2 and Patch 3 into Home 1, and it also shows NLS_LANG is AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252 in the registry. Yet it tries to quote the url.
    I can find nothing in the registry or Forms Preferences, etc. that could control this. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sam

    Hi Sam,
    This error comes when one has not yet created the working directory. All u need to do is to create a folder e.g. (c:\My_Application) in your root directory. Also make the working directory parameter to point to this in formsweb.cfg file. Save the new module into this folder before running the form.
    This, I think will solve your problem.

    trying to launch photoshop cs3 on a mac running OS10.6.8 i keep getting the error message: Licensing for this product has stopped working  you cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT adminstrator or Adobe customer support for help
    I already Uninstalled and reinstalled the product and it still does not work.

    Hi,
    Try to uninstall the software again and you have to manually
    Delete the following folders:
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/backup
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
    [Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
    Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
    After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
    Restart machine and then try to install again.
    *** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem.

  • Request for Interpretation of insufficient bandwidth error

    To iChat Discussions:
    I have looked at many of the messages posted concerning the "insufficient bandwidth" error that I am receiving from iChat. I have implemented all suggestions and I am still having trouble.
    I am using a capable Quad G5 with an iSight camera. I have all updates installed with Mac OS X 10.4.6. I am using iChat 3.1.4 (v432).
    I always get the "insufficient bandwidth" error message when I initiate a video chat with the outside world. I can text with all buddies.
    I see the three test sites (appleu3test01,appleu3test02,appleu3test03) with green video cameras (multiple),as well the other contacts on my Buddly List.
    I am connected to a university wireless system. I can transfer files up and down at about 6 Mbps, so there is no bandwidth problem. The IT experts say there are no ports blocked and that all is well. I have the Mac OS X firewall turned off. I can video chat perfectly with buddies inside my building, but when I try to go outside, I get the "insufficient bandwidth" error message.
    Following a thread on the iChat Discussions, I captured an error log for iChat. I was hoping someone in the Discussions could interpret the log results so I could diagnose the problem with connecting from to the outside world. I annotated the log with some information about when I did what, starting the line with a /. I used the command
    /Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat -errorLogLevel 7
    from the command line in a Terminal session. The error log follows:
    / I started up iChat and everything came up normally
    13-21-96:~ westfall$ /Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat -errorLogLevel 7

    Quad G5 with iSight   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Hi Gary,
    Welcome To The Apple Discussion Pages.
    I see that you seem to have done the Quicktime setting
    094151.005637 Bandwidth based on QT prefs = 21474836
    094151.261284 BWD: GotBandwidth: 1618529/10814842 (up/down) @[35.13.21.96:255.255.252.0]
    094151.261318 BWD bandwidth: 1618 kbits up, 10814 kbits down.
    It is the IP listed here that worries me.
    You say you are on a Wireless connection to the University's service but you are showing a Public IP (One I would expect to see as part of the info)
    Has the Uni given you a direct outside line as it were ?
    Are you saying you can use Bonjour but not the AIM side ?
    Or do you mean that you can call out over the AIM side and get back to Buddies in your Building but not others ?
    I am expecting you to tell us that the set up is like this:
    Uni connection to the internet (Server or modem) <-> 1 or more routers <-> Wirless connection <-> Your computer
    With a domsetic set up you would have a Public IP at the modem. This may or may not pass that IP to the next device. At this point there would be a LAN set of IPs issued to the subsequent devices and computers.
    LAN IPs are in three groups of numbers
    192.168.xxx.xxx
    10.xxx.xxx.xxx
    172.(16-32).xxx.xxx (basically a subset within 172.xxx.xxx.xxx)
    The IP you show here is not one of those.
    It is possible that the Uni has decided to use there own choice of IP numbers for their LAN.
    However I would still expect to see two IP's showing up for you. One Public and the IP your computer has on the LAN.
    Can you tells what IP you see in System Preferences > Network > Connection method in second drop down and then TCP/IP tab ?
    I am expecting this to be a NAT problem.
    More info on how the Uni are routing you to the outside would be helpful.

    Hi,
    We are getting error in F110 Automatic Payment run.
    Proposal and Payment run are getting created , But when we run the printout step it is giving the following error
    1. Payment run 07/28/2011 1008I is intended for cross-payment run payment media                    FZ           110          S
    2. No Record found
    Please help me if any one has worked on same senario.
    Thanks,
    Babumiya Mohammad

    Hi Babumiya,
    Please check FBZP setting for the payment run - Company Code , Country Code - for the corresoonding Payment method.
    The form with driver program will trigger for the above combination ( as whatever is detailed out in FBZP transaction code).
    While triggering the payment run, do check whether the standard job has been created or not (F110*).

  • Trasnfer function error usgin ULx library for running a DC motor

    HI,
    I am trying to run a DC motor using Labview's control kit. I want to add a transfer function to the system but once in the loop it gives me an error. The function has an added zero to see changes in the system. It is given by :
    H(s)= (1/5s +1) / s
    There is no error if the added zero is removed. I am aware that the degree of numerator cannot be greater than that of denominator but this has same degree. It works in Matlab . Labview for some reason does not accept it. Any help would be appreciated. Please do let me know if I am going wrong somewhere.
    I am attaching the file and pictures of the block diagram and the error incase you cannot run the file.
    Thank You,
    rps

    Hi rps,
    Are you still having trouble? Adding the zero changes the feedthrough of the Transfer Function from Indirect to Direct. Are you using the error wiring and the Merge Errors to control the execution of your program? The error handling of your program creates a cycle that requires the Transfer Function to have indirect feedthrough. This is explained in the “Wire: is a member of a cycle” Errors with the Simulation Module knowledge base article.
    Changing the error handling to avoid the cycle or using a Transfer Function with Indirect Feedthrough should resolve this issue.
    I hope that information is helpful!

  • I need help re-installing itunes.  I get the error message: Install failed run preupgrade for Apple Mobile Device Support.  Any solutions?

    I've been trying to upgrade to/install Itunes 10.  When trying to do so, I get the error message: Install failed run preupgrade for Apple Mobile Device Support.
    Per what I saw as a response to someone else who had a similar issue, I thought a fix might be to uninstall my existing Itunes, then try to re-install the Itunes 10.  I tried that.  However, I still get the same error message.  Now, I have no Itunes.
    I tried to email Apple, and they have not replied.
    Anyone offer any solutions?

    me too did you get any help?

    Hi jodilynnf,
    When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly. Take a look at the article below to walk you through troubleshooting issues with Mail.

  • Insufficient priv error when executing DBMS_ERRLOG through PLSQL

    Hi,
    I shall be grateful if any one of you give me the solution at the earliest.
    I have 2 schemas like A & B those are running on Oracle 10g rel2.
    As per my buz req' I need to create DML Error log table for 'A.T1' table in B schema using DBMS_ERRORLOG package.
    I have granted direct SELECT on A.T1 to B (...not through ROLE as it doesn't work in plsql)
    The problem is when i'm running the procedure,
    DBMS_ERRLOG.CREATE_ERROR_LOG('A.T1', 'err_T1', 'B');
    in SQL*Plus of B schema, it's creating the error log table successfully.
    But the same will get failed when i run this error log procedure with in a procedure owned by B schema.
    It throws 'ORA-01031: insufficient privileges'...
    I hope this is related to privilege issue which is working fine in SQL*Plus but NOT in PLSQL stored procedure.
    Awaiting your earliest reply.
    Thanks.

    >I dont think it's an issue with direct privilege. Actually the
    package is working when i execute it with in a ananymous block,
    but the same get fails when execute it through procedures...
    Role privs work with anonymous PL/SQL blocks. Does not work with stored PL/SQL code.

    Hi,
    It's not an issue with direct privilege. Actually the package is working when i execute it with in a ananymous block, but the same get fails when execute it through procedures...
    Even we have given COMMENT ANY TABLE priv to the schema and that too didn't work out.

  • APEX Insufficient Privs errors when trying to use dbms_sql.parse

    Hello,
    I have a simple database procedure that changes are user pswd:
    create or replace
    PROCEDURE chg_pswd_test(p_userid in varchar2,
    p_pswd in varchar2)
    -- Invoker rights allow a user with execute privileges to call a subprogram.
    -- Definer Rights allow programs to execute under the privileges of their
    -- definer / schema owner.
    AUTHID CURRENT_USER as x varchar2(20);
    v_cursor INTEGER;
    v_execute INTEGER;
    begin
    v_cursor := sys.DBMS_SQL.OPEN_CURSOR;
    sys.DBMS_SQL.PARSE(v_cursor, 'ALTER USER '||p_userid||' identified by '||p_pswd, sys.DBMS_SQL.NATIVE);
    v_execute := sys.DBMS_SQL.EXECUTE(v_cursor);
    sys.DBMS_SQL.CLOSE_CURSOR(v_cursor);
    commit;
    end chg_pswd_test;
    I can run this procedure in sqlplus as user x and also as my apex_public_user. I have granted both execute on dbms_sql and alter user privs. It runs for both without problems.
    I then create a validation process in APEX can call this database procedure. I then receive insufficient privs errors.
    If I grant all privs to public, the apex app will then run, if I remove all privs I receive the errors again.
    Does anyone know which database priv I am missing, I cannot grant all privs to public on my production database?
    Thanks

    Odd, as I would think that should work, being the DBA role and all...
    If it works as user X from SQL*Plus, could you try to change the parsing schema to User X and try again?
    Thanks,
