Integrating Blogging feature for a Java based website
Hello everyone,
I am having a requirement for the website I am working on where I need to build the Blog functionality. Our website is built using Java platform. Most of the articles on google were on wordpress which is for PHP based websites. I was wondering if any you are aware of any good softwares/ tools that I can use to create a blogging functionality on our Java based website. Right now am experimenting with NWordpress but I din't find any good documentation on how to use it.
It would be really great if someone can point me in the right direction. Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Shravanthi

Message split on adapter engine for the java based IDoc adapter
Hi Guys,
Do you know if message split on adapter engine is available for the java based IDoc adapter on the single stack (PI 7.31)?
I'm getting such exception when I try to post 3 IDocs
Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCAdapterException: Error before sending due to idoc parsing error: (7) IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE: Invalid XML 1.0 character encountered within IDocXML for type <ns0:Messages>:

Mapping is one to many.
Each IDoc content has been compared manually against the xsd schema and it was fine.
I know that old way of modifying xsd is still possible.

Thanks and kind regards

Looking for a java-based SDK that handles file conversion to PDF and TIF...
Hi all,
First off, this is my first posting so I'm not 100% sure where to post this topic. So please forgive me if I'm accidentally posting in the wrong location.
My question deals with a project I am currently working on.
I am looking for a java-based SDK that can meet the following requirements...
1) convert all printable file-formats (i.e. JPEG, DOC, TXT, PPT, etc.) into PDF
2) merge multiple PDFs into one PDF
3) convert PDF to TIF or at least do some sort of conversion to TIF
4) works in Java or some sort of web-based language
5) free or relatively cheap
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.I don't think you will get one API to do them all.
Some helpful hints:

How to include a .desktop file for a Java-based PKGBUILD?
I've tried searching a for a while and can't seem to get anywhere with such generic search terms, but I was wondering what would be the proper way to include a .desktop file and possibly an icon for a PKGBUILD that is just a Java-based program? I think it would be a lot more user-friendly for people if I could add the program to their menu when they install it.
As things are right now, the PKGBUILD just creates an executable script in <code>/usr/bin/</code> that runs the jar file with the proper classpath (as per the Java Packaging Guidelines), and there is nothing to actually make/compile (thus no .desktop file directly from the author). The package I plan on adding these features to is jGnash in the AUR if you want to take a look. Thanks!elasticdog wrote:

Sales order information to be captured from a java based website

And as soon as a sales order is created an bdoc needs to be triggered and sent to the CRM system...
Middleware available for Java SAP interface.
Do i need to call BAPI to retrieve the sales info from middleware ??
How does an idoc trigger as soon as a sales order created i SAP system???
Can any one help me out .Its urgent!!!
Regards ,
LavanyaHi,
You have to create a BAPI to read the data from java, the structure has to be the same as in the java system. once the data is read into the SAP system then you need the idoc to carry the data.

Basics for a Java based text editor.

I want to try and write a simple java text editor I
can upgrade as I learn more about java. Can anyone
point me in the right direction or tell me the basic
layout of a text editor?A text editor consists of three parts. User command interaction, text screen presentation and text data handling. Start with a small Java application with a GUI and check out the different Swing components and how they work. Internally the text can be held in a double-linked list where each blocks have space for 1000 characters or so. You'll also need some file handling to store the text externally. -
Terminal Keyboard features for a Linux based Server System
Hi Forum,
there are some highlighted characters within terminal functions at a linux server (redhat or suse or ...) With Putty or a linux connection I get the special keys that are highlighted to work with the "alt" key pressed. Example is the terminal button "ok" with the "o" highlighted. If I press "alt"+"o" it would be choosen and the next page will be shown. Is there a way to make this work on a MacOSX Terminal? I had no chance to find anything similar with google. I hope you might find a solution!
Thank you and best regards,Post Unix and Terminal queries to the Unix forum under OS X Technologies where those mavens frolic.

Some Java-based websites missing vertical scroll bar
Web site (http://www.addictinggames.com/dailyjigsaw.html) loads with no vertical scroll bar.
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox openedHi
Do you have 3rd party Glims installed? If so, make sure you have the latest version (v 20).
I used to see the scroll problem more frequently. I haven't of late. Never determined what causes it, however older versions of Glims (since it alters Safari functions) may be one possible cause.
Only workaround I've seen is to quit the tab in question, then reopen another tab and reload the page missing the scroll bar. Tabs ought to appear.
If you don't have 3rd party add-ons, send feedback to Apple via the Safari Menu>Report Bugs to Apple. -
Questions about BLOG feature and about Google Maps Widget
Hi, just started using iweb & mobileme to take a break from dreamweaver & ISP host (I am so bored with both of them). iWeb 09 seems very VERY cool, but I chose a theme with a blog feature for a blog I am starting for our studio, and it works strangely. The entries are replicated in full on the blog home page, and that does not make sense. Read more? Why, you just read it all! Albeit in smaller print and different layout. But I am sure that I am missing something there:) Also, how do people comment on the articles? I see nothing there!
On google map, I want to add a pin but don't see how using the widget. It only gives me a google known address, which are few and far between in Nepal. So how do I fix that?
Here is the draft site:

ALSO, BONUS QUESTION: where is the best place to get more/better canned themes for iWeb, and are there tips on installing them? thx!!!Draft Link changed!
