Inter company & Third party configuration

Good Morning Gurus,
Can someone post summarized configuration with T codes (flow chart) for Inter company & Third party process.
I tried goggling & found much information but need the summarized one.
Thanks

Hi, please read SAP Note 1164059 - ICR: Technical documentation and background information. It has a lot of background information and in my opinion is the best point to start.

    Hi,
It is a third party scenario.
If plant B is not raised invoice to Plant A, then your accounting entries are not going to complete
Both party's having pending Invoice and pending P.O respectively

  • Third party configuration

    Hello Friends,
I am in production support project and handling many data load or data monitor activities daily. In project the data is coming from many sys like R/3, Flatfile and legacy sys.
As still I have not understood the data flow from legacy sys as how the transfer rule has been activated in this or how BAPI works while extracting the data from 3rd party.
    Would like to know –
What are the steps to configure third party (BAPI) tools?
How the data is extracting from third party?
I am extracting the data from informatica sys.
Thanks it would be great help for me.

  • Cross Company Third Party Sales related problem

    Dear All,
I have the following Third Party Intercompany Sales Scenario -
    Company Code : A100 -> Plant : T001
                               B100 -> Plant : P001
    Customer : 1001 under Company Code B100
    Business Case -
Customercode 1001 of Company Code B100 will place a sales order to Delivering plant P001. Upon saving the sales order a purchase requisition will be generated & subsequently converted to a PO for Delivering Plant P001 from vendor T001 under company code A100.
Vendor T001 will deliver the goods to the customer 1001 with respect to PO & raise an inter-company invoice to plant P001 under Company Code B100.
After that plant P001 will do MIRO & raise the final commercial invoice  to the customer code 1001 with respect to the sales order punched at the beginning.
Please suggest what are the steps along with configurations needed to achieve my requirement.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Cross-company + third party SD-order item result analysis

    Hello,
    please, advice.
    SD-Process - third party cross-company
1.Sales organisation belongs to company code A.
2.Plant belongs to company code B.
3.Third party - so there is no delivery, intercompany billing is executed on the header level (IVA invoice type).
After the SD-order position is created, a purchase order is created too automatically. There is still no invoice receipt, intercompany billing, or external invoice. But the status Final Billed (FNBL) is determined for the position within the SAPKKA12 right after the position is created (not only within SAPKKA12, but also within result analysis KKA3 too).
Could you please test the same within your system and provide some clarification?
    Thanks a lot

  • STO's INTER / INTRA & THIRD PARTY SALES

Dear friends!! plz clear my doubts in the following : -
    1) in STO cross comp, internal customer required and doc flow is like NBNLCCF2
and my doubt is whether pricing comes to F2 from NB with MM pricing procedure? Does Doc.PP should be assigned to F2 here??
2)in STO intra comp, internal customer is not required and doc flow is like UBNLJEX and pricing is triggered from UB with MM pricing procedure? Does SD Pricing procedure is required or not? SD pricing procd determinaion is required??
3)In Third paarty sales how we got to know that how much stock is delivered by vendor to customer? as we are doing order related billing? is there any other things then migo and  miro?

    Hi ,
Following are the steps of third party:
    1) Creation of third party sales order
    2) Generation of automatic purchase reqisition throught the configuration of schedule line CS in SD.
    3) You can check the PR Number in the schedule line tab of sales order.PR requirement will not be available in the MD04.
    4) Manually create a PO for vendor with item category S.
    5) There will be no GR in this case.
    6) Create an invoice verification document.
    7) Create an invoice from the SD side w.r.t Sales order.

  • Inter Company Stock Transfer Configuration

    Hi,
When I assign customer in assign shipping data to plants, request is creating. So whether I have to create the request and transfer the same to production or quality or is there any other way to assign customer in either quality or production? Because I have to create the customer master data in development. Please Reply..

The cross-plant internal procurement of materials can be carried out within one company code (inter-company) or by using several company codes (cross-company). This process can be dealt with using standard functions, such as material requirements planning, purchase requisitions, stock transport orders, transportation planning, and the handling of internal deliveries.
    Process Flow
This scenario consists of the following steps:
    One-step stock transfer
    Creating stock transport order
Posting goods issue for stock transport order
Checking the status of the stock transfer
    Receiving transferred materials

  • Inter company reconciliation process configuration in one system

    Hi All,
We are upgrading from R/3 4.0B to ECC6.0 & currently using the classical GL. We are in process of customization of Inter Company Reconciliation for GL Open item, GL Accounts & A/R and A/P open items.
In the process of defining reconciliation process & detail attributes (T.Code: FBIC010) we are facing an error with description as "sender ledger 0 is invalid". But here we have not assigned any values (zero) & also system is not permitting to do so (as the field is graded out).
The detaild error screen is as follows:
Ledger 0 is not a valid sender ledger
    Message no. FB_ICRC114
    Diagnosis
You have specified ledger 0 as sender ledger for process 001. For process 001 the sender ledger must use totals table FBICRC001T. Ledger 0 uses totals table GLT0.
    System Response
Error message. Settings cannot be saved.
    Procedure
Specify a ledger which uses totals table FBICRC001T.
Pls suggest us how to overcome the above error. Kindly share the detailed customization documents if any has the same.

  • Intercompany Third Party Subcontracting

    Hi everybody,
our case is an Inter company third party subcontracting.
Plant A in company code 1000 sends Component X to Plant B in company code 2000.
Plant A asks his third party to send Component Y to Plant B.
Plant B assemble X and Y and deliver finished material Z to Plant A at last.
I proposed SAP standard scenario for third party subcontracting:
1- plant A creates PO (item category L) for material Z and vendor = 'Plant B'.
2- Plant A do transfer posting (ME2O) component X to Plant B. so X would be provided to vendor.
3- Plant A creates PO (third party) for component Y with delivery address = 'Plant B' and also set Plant B as SC Vendor.
4- when Plant B receives component Y, informs Plant A.
5- Plant A do GR based on PO ( third party). so component Y would be provided to vendor.
6- when Plant B sends finished material Z to Plant A, Plant A do GR based on PO (SC). SAP receive Z and consumes X and Y right off.
the Project team didn't accept my scenario for 2 reasons:
1- it is not sap best practice for intercompany subcontracting.
2- they said there is an extra GR in my scenario.I mean when plant A creates PO for third party, and Plant B do GR, the components must be provided to vendor Auto, and there is no need to do GR in plant A place.
    please help me.
Does really SAP has another scenario for intercompany third party subcon?

you totally miss the production part in plant B.
if your plant B produces material, then they usually do this in the PP module via production or process orders. they have to record the machine ours, the labor , the have to plan etc etc.
How can plant B take the material from subcontractor stock  which is just special stock in plant A? What movement type does plant B use to send the produced material to plant A?
Subcontracting via the purchasing module is used for external processing.
You better do standard stock transfers and production instead of the subcontracting process.

  • Third party sale - Realtime configuration experience

Could you share your experience in connection with Third party sale configuration during realtime?
In other words, for 3rd party sale configuration -
    1) Did you (SD consultant) configure it in SAP together with a MM consultant?
    2) What tasks / areas did you cover and what did the MM consultant cover?
    3) The prices to pay to the third party by the company (your client), who configured it (you or MM consultant)?
    4) Any other realtime issues, learnings in connection with third party configuration process?
Please note - I am not asking for the "technical" steps (e.g. BANS, TAS, CS, Purchase org., ME11, ME01 etc.)
    Many thanks, in advance!

    1) Did you (SD consultant) configure it in SAP together with a MM consultant?
Yes. It has to be configured with help / co-operation from MM side.
    2) What tasks / areas did you cover and what did the MM consultant cover?
SD Consultant - All SD related config like Sales Doc type, item Category (most important Billing relevance), Schedule Line Category (activaton of creation of PR), Copy Control between Order & Invoice & Procing Procedure.
    3) The prices to pay to the third party by the company (your client), who configured it (you or MM consultant)?
You mean for payment to Vendor - it is purely MM Configuration right from Creation of PO from PR, Statistical MIGO (if Required) & MIRO (Purchase Invoice).
    4) Any other realtime issues, learnings in connection with third party configuration process?
My most important learning was Billing Relevance settting in SD Item Cateogry. (I mean you can control in SD, whether the Sales Invoice is to be created on basis on Statistical MIGO or MIRO)...
The above question & answers are too generic. Kindly let us know any specific qiestions you have.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Order related Inter-company Billing (Third Party Order)

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We are using SAP R/3 4.6C version.  Normally, the inter-company billing are delivery related and this is working fine.  I am configuring the order related Inter-company billing, i.e. Third Party drop shipment  with Inter-company.  I refered to SAP notes 203876, 63459, 381042 and maintained the copy control between OR => IVA (for TAS) as follows:
    Copying requirement      = '013',
       Invoiced quantity        = 'F', (*)
       Quantity/value          = '+',
       Pricing type            = 'G'.
The issue I am facing is when I try to create an Inter-company invoice (after the F2 Customer invoice), the End customer details is being pulled instead of the Inter-company customer details.  In other words the Inter-company invoice is also being issued to the End customer.  Also the prices are showing in negative.
Kindly share with me if any of you guys know a solution for this.  I have searched all the SAP forums, but couldn't find a similar issue.
My concern here is, in none of the SAP notes, there is no information about the copying requirement at the header level between OR=>IVA.  I am not sure whether this is causing the issue.
    Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hello Mrinal,
Please review the note 381042 Order-related intercompany billing in Releases.
o  Report RVIVAUFT instead of report ZZIVAUFT
        o  Standard requirement 036 'Item/order related IB'
Use this requirement in the copying requirement for billing
           documents for your process flow.
o  Standard requirement 018 'Order-related IB' instead of
           customer-specific output requirement 990.
Use this requirement in the output determination procedure of
your billing documents (in the standard system, this is procedure
V10000 'Billing outputs') for output type RDIV.
o  Standard ouptput type RDIV instead of customer-specific output
           type ZZIV.

  • SNC with SAPRouter configuration for Third party company

    Hi expers,
Need your advise for my below scenario.
We are running SAP on IBM i. My question is about outside world connectivity with encryption mechanism to SAP AS.
As of now , we are not using SNC either for internal / external network connectivity with SAP apps server. But we are going to allow third party company to connect for one of the payment processing takes place. Since the third party company not accepting VPN connectivity, we are planning to implement Separate SAPRouter configured with SNC, (encryption option), and open the firewall port for them. How much secured it is ? we are in the process of installaing and configuring windows server for SNC & SAPRouter installation. What are all the required configuration in  SAP Application server level & new SNC server, for this ? How exactly SAPGui ( from third party company) to SAP Apps Server will go through the traffic ? Need experts advise on this ?
Basically I want to make sure, once it is configured, trafic will go through encrypted way outside of our network.  Thanks in advance for all your valuable  reply !

  • Inter-Company Sales v/s Inter-Company Stock Transfer v/s Third Party Sales

Hi, I understand the basic business processes between Inter-Company Sales, Inter-Company Stock Transfer and Third Party Sales.
The Inter-Company Sales is sales process between two companies having different company codes. A customer orders an item to Company A which can't be delivered by Company A, so Company A generates PO to Company B which supplies the item to Company A and finally Company A delivers it to Customer.
The Inter-Company Stock Transfer is stock transfer from one plant to another where the plants belong to two different company codes. Now all Inter-Company Sales process covers Inter-Company Stock Transfer process.
Third Party Sales process is process where a customer orders an item to Company A but Company A ca't deliver the item to the customer. So Company A generates a PO to Company B which in turn directly delivers the item to customer. After the goods receipt verification at customer end Company A pays to Company B.
Now looking at the these basic process steps I just want to know what is the basic difference between Inter-Company Sales and Inter-Company Stock Transfer ? Is this something that when there is a need to deliver an item to the customer and not available in that company, the Inter-Company Sales takes place but when there is no customer order but the companies want to maintain stock, the Inter-Company Stock Transfer takes place ? Please clarify based on my above understanding.

    Hi
I will explain you with example
Say there are 2 org structures
Company code 1000 sales org 1000 and DC 10 and division is 00 and plant 1000
Company code 2000 sales org 2000 and DC 20 and division is 00 and plant 2000
Now A customer Say X lies in sales area 1000,10,00 and a sales order is created for a material ABCD for this customer X in sales  area 1000,10,00
Now if the plant 2000 supplies this material ABCD for this order to the customer X in sales area 1000,10,00 then it is intercompany sales
IF  the plant  2000 transfers the stock to plant 1000 ands (then if the plant 1000 supplies to this sales order for customer X) then it is intercompany STO
If the material is supplied from a external vendor directly to the customer X without involving your plants then it is third party sales
Now all Inter-Company Sales process covers Inter-Company Stock Transfer process
    No not at all
    Both are entirely different
Inter-Company Stock Transfer process doesnot involve Inter-Company sales
Similarly Inter-Company sales  does not involve Inter-Company Stock Transfer process both are different
Third party means it is an external vendor not your other company code
    All three are different
If a plant  belonging to one company code directly makes a delivery for a customer to the sales order created in another company code then it is intercompany sales
the movement of stocks between plants of 2 different company codes is inter company STO
    Regards
    Raja

  • Third party order & Inter copany STO

    HI SD Guru's
can anyone tell me please about the configuration steps and the Procedure for "Third Party" & "Inter company STO"
    <b><REWARDS OFFER REMOVED BY MODERATOR></b>
    Thanks

    dear SP
    THIRD PARTY SCENARIO
in third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
the processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing:-
if a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
when you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
you process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

Stock transfers that include deliveries and billing documents/invoices are only possible between plants belonging to different company codes.
If you want to carry out a cross-company-code stock transport order with delivery but without a billing document, you must set the Relevant for Billing (data element FKREL) indicator in Customizing of the item type to "blank" (Not relevant for billing).
The following applications are involved in this type of stock transfer:
    • Purchasing (MM-PUR) in entering the order
    • Shipping (LE-SHP) in making the delivery from the issuing plant
    • Billing (SD-BIL) in creating the billing document for the delivery
    • Inventory Management (MM-IM) at goods receipt in the receiving plant
Invoice Verification (MM-IV) at invoice receipt in the receiving

  • How do I integrate Configurator and iPad Electronic Flight Bags with applications that utilize a third-party license and subscription that is outside of iTunes?

I am the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) Manager for a small aviation company that are using 10 iPad with Retina Display as approved in-cockpit EFBs.  Our plan is to configure and manage these iPad EFBs with Apple Configurator 1.3.  We also use 2 third-party applications for charts, aviation weather, and other aviation functions that depend on a seperate license and subscription with the vendor outside of iTunes.  What I am finding through my new education in Configurator is that there does not seem to be a way to maintain the subscription status with those two applications.  Is there a way to isolate those two programs from Configurator control?  Better yet, is there a way to integrate them with Configurator without losing the subscription status and loss of huge amounts of data that are on a regular, FAA regulatory update schedule?  Configurator is awesome at managing iTunes managed applications and is perfect for our company.  I need to figure out how to make Configurator work with a subscription-based application.  Please help!

Here is what is surmise reading ForeFlight web site.
There is the app and the data.
You manage the app through configurator or some other MDM.   The acquiring and paying for the data is independ of the configurator. You can buy the data through the app or online.  You may want to buy online. This way you can do the buying independent of the ipad. Once you have purchased, the app will download the data.  You may have to tell it to procedure with download panel.
Some people use configurator to install mdm app then do the rest of the configuration from MDM.  This allows wifi updates of configuration.
You end up with managing apps from MDM. You manage with your data from from the online account.  You enter appropriate password on each ipad to gain access to the data. App will download your data.  My need to tell it what to download in app.
How do I buy a subscription?
Purchasing a subscription is fast and easy! You can purchase a subscription online or inside the app using your iTunes account.
To purchase a subscription inside the app, launch ForeFlight Mobile and then tap the 'Account' icon. You'll see a list of available plans to purchase in the 'Subscription Plans' table. Tap the one you want to buy. Follow the instructions for entering your email address and iTunes password. When the purchase is complete, you'll receive confirmation inside the app and immediately be able to continue using ForeFlight Mobile.
To purchase a subscription online, visit our secure online ordering page. You'll be asked to choose a plan and enter your credit card information. After your purchase is complete, you'll receive an email with a password to sign into the app on your phone or iPad.

How do I update charts, plates, and the airport database?
ForeFlight Mobile has a download manager designed to make selecting, downloading, and updating your data easy- whether you like to store a little or a lot. Tap the Downloads icon from within the ForeFlight Mobile app. The Download Manager allows you to select the types of items you want to download and store on your device. ForeFlight Mobile will contact our servers and display the available updates. If you download updates that are not yet effective (future data sets) they will automatically be used by the software when they become effective. The download manager lets you pause a download and resume it later.
