Interactive forms, WD4A, Firefox

Hi, I have problems with displaying my interactive form in firefox. In IE everything is OK, but in firefox, there is only blank space instead of interactive form.I have ZCI layout in my form layout type. Where is problem?

I am hoping you are on NW7.0 platform and Firefox 2.0 because other versions like 1.5 is definitely not supported and probably not the latest 3.0 as well.
I suggest you to have a look at the PAM [here|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30179afb-d90e-2b10-ceb3-d2e441d6407b] and check the Interactive Forms browser support limitations on Pg7.

Edit: Check Note 1098009 - Limitations for Web Dynpro ABAP. Firefox 2.0 is supported for Web Dynpro ABAP starting SP14 and Firefox 3.0 is not supported.

Firefox 3 crash when using an adobe interactive forms

Hello,
Because Firefox 2.0 isn't supported anymore by Mozilla, we plan to migrate to Firefox 3.
When we display an Adobe Interactive Forms in Firefox 3, the browser crashes. We have reinstalled Firefox 2 and it works again.
We tried with Adobe Reader 8.1.2 or 9.0.
I've checked different sapnotes like 1089062 - FireFox Limitations for
Unified Rendering and ACF
Does anyone met the same issue and/or solved it ?

Steps for Reconstruction
- Log into SAP portal with Firefox 3.0
- Display an adobe interactive forms
- Click on "save" or "close" button and the web browser crashes

FF3 support is still under development (for NW 7.1)
Do you mean that Firefox 3 will not be supported on NW 7.0 ?

How open an interactive form in a tabstrip of Firefox

Hi ,
I have developped an application which involves interactive form . Now I want to display the pdf in a new tabstrip of Firefox.(after clicking on a button).
Do you have an idea to display an interactive form in a new tabstrip,please?
Actually to solve this problem, I have used a "LinkToUrl" UI Component which opens PDF in a new tabstrip of Firefox but I have an other problem that is I MUST clik on the link opening the PDF in a new tabstrip( but I don't want to click).
The code used is :

Hi Manish,
If I get you correctly then you want to Upload a prefilled Adobe IF from some location without any user interaction and save it to some Backend/Temp storage: You need to have something like you have a user inbox and mail comes to this with the Adobe Form as an attachment, you extract the attachment and read it using available Java apis for reading. You can also specify a particular folder where you can place the filled form and then read it using FileInputStream and can save it in the backend after you have it in binary form in your application.

Interactive form in WD4A - dynamic table - adding rows

Hi,
I have a problem with dynamic table in WD4A. User can add row to table by clicking a button on form, but added rows are not transfered to mapped context node in my web dynpro application. I have made a lot of searches on SDN and I have found a lots of threads, but no answer.
Maybe this should be a way:

Adobe Interactive Forms with Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to implement HCM P&F using Adobe Interactive Forms. These Adobe Forms will be accessed using Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox. I have come across that the Adobe Interactive Forms are not supported on these browsers. In the same regard I have also gone through the Product Availability Matrix by SAP which specifies that Forms are not support on these browser and neither SAP has future plans to support them.

I would like to know from experts that if any of the project has successfully implemented Adobe Interactive Forms with browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox or
is there any solution which can make these forms work successfully on browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox is supported for Adobe Interactive Forms on Windows operation system.
Unfortunatelly we do not have support for Mac OS and Safari browser.
Please re-check the PAM.

Is Safari and Firefox for Mac not supported on SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe?

Are Mac OS X browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Safari not supported by SAP EHP3 NetWeaver 7.0? If not, are there any alternatives? I find it hard to believe that Mac users won't be able to transact on SAP's interactive forms by Adobe.

Firefox and adobe interactive forms

Hi,
I am trying to get a web dynpro application to work on Firefox 1.5.
When I ran the application the first time in IE I got a popup asking to install a java object. I refused and got an error message in the browser saying it could not render the form. After installing the java plugin, everything was OK as rendering is concerned. But in FIrefox I still have the same rendering problem...
Have you any ideas of why this is occuring ?

in NW 04 any online scenario using an Interactive Form in Web Dynpro for Java can only be run in Internet Explorer after installing SAP's Active Component Framework (see SAP Note 766191) on the respective frontend.
This limitation will be lifted with NW 2004s SPS 7. Until then, if you want to combine Web Dynpro and Interactive Forms in online scenarios you'll have to work with Microsoft.

Hi,
As far as i know when you use Adobe forms in a WD4A application, language is your "web" connection language.
You can have a look at standard class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICE, it's used when generating an adobe forms from WD4A. , more particulary look at method DETERMINE_DOCPARAMS.

Interactive Reports in Firefox 3.0.5

Hi!
When running an interactive report in Firefox 3.0.5, the pull-down menu next to the cog icon does not display right over the icon as it does in IE. Rather, the menu displays at the bottom of the page below the report area.
Anyone knows why is this and how it can be fixed?

Adobe Interactive Form in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi all.
I want to create an web dynpro application in ABAP using an Adobe Interactive Form. Can anybody share the document regarding this or any articles.

Hi,
it is so simple..
1) Create AdobeInteractiveForm UI element in your screen.
2) Create pdf_source for pdf source attribute to bind it should be byte data.
3) Create node for data Source. (The data which you want to place on the pdf form)
4) right click on interactive form UI element & edit
5) PDF editor will be open.
6) drag the required data fields from data source to the form.
7) place submit button on the form.
Finally there are two kinds of interactive modes
1) native mode (it runs on firefox browser)
2) active X mode (it runs on Internet Explorer 6)
Please use appropriate submit button on the form (i.e. native/ActiveX submit button)

Adobe Interactive Form is displayed in Read Only mode

Hi All,
I created Adobe Interactive Form in SFP.
The following properties are set to the form.
Layout Type -ZCI Layout
Preview Type - Interactive Form
XDP Preview Format - Acrobat 7.0.5 Dynamic PDF
In PDF preview tab, I can enter data into the Text Fields.
I added this form in a web dynpro ABAP application using Interactive Form UI element.
The following properties are set to the UI element.
DataSource - bound to the context
displayType - native
enabled - checked
templateSource - Formname
readonly - unchecked.
When I run this application, the form is displayed in readonly mode.
I can't enter any data into the text field.
Any of you guys know that how to resolve this?

Hi,
I already face the same issue and after several days working on this issue and many hours on debugging it seems that interface type is very important if you want to use the form in WD4A (this requirement is confirmed by SAP thru an OSS message for me )
Does the interface based on DDIC or XML ?
If it's a DDIC interface , sorry that can't works in WD4A as interactive forms. You must define the interface as based on XML for this .

PS : Finally ,as my forms was very complicated my customer decide to not make it available in WD4A .....

Multi language support for Adobe interactive form in ABAP WD

Hi ,
I translated the adobe form in multi language in SE63, If i execute the form with passing LANGU(language) parameter, form supports for multi language.
I created XML schema based interface and if a execute interactive form in ABAP Webdynpro, i am unable to pass launguage(LANGU) parameter. because InteractiveForm element property does not have language key parameter.
Apart from creating different language dependent forms, is there any alternate way we can pass the LANGU key parameter to Interactive Adobe form???

Hi,
As far as i know when you use Adobe forms in a WD4A application, language is your "web" connection language.
You can have a look at standard class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICE, it's used when generating an adobe forms from WD4A. , more particulary look at method DETERMINE_DOCPARAMS.

Portal Freezes when interactive form drop down is selected..

Hi Experts,
We are facing a strange problem with the drop downs in interactive form. We developed an interactive form with dynamic internal tables and Automatic dictionary search helps attached.
Before upgrading SAP SP 27 we were able to use it without any problem. Now whenever we select a drop down in the adobe form complete portal is freezing.
More suprising is this is working fine in Mozilla firefox and not in internet explorer 8.0.
Kindly let us know how to fix this.

I tried with compatibility view. Still the portal is getting freezed.
Now adding to the surprise when we rebooted the portals adobe form is not getting freezed but the portal is getting freezed. i.e. I can enter data on adobe but can not navigate to any other links in portal. All of them are freezed.

Interactive Form Element 7.1: How can I set the default file name?

I am using Interactive Form Element with 7.1 to display a pdf. When one clicks the save button in Adobe's toolbar, the dialog defaults the file name to "F.pdf". Is there a way to default this to a different value?

i would like to the browsers supported.
IE is supported.
how about Firefox.google chrome,safari,opera...

Google Chrome does support HCM P and F for Adobe Interactive Forms. I am not sure about the other browsers.
