Interactivity with Sketchpad and Mouse Issue?

I really like it and my flash skills are good enough that I
can edit the actionscript etc but I can't figure out how to change
it so I can draw on a picture that I add to the .fla. When I add a
picture it doesn't draw on the photo it only does on the
background. Any help? I'm assuming this is an easy issue to fix. I
understand its doing this because its set to draw on the _root

create empty movieclip and place drawing code in it. drag
movieclip with code in it to stage. create new layer below
movieclip with actionscript, and place image on it. Hope this will
work for you.

870A Fuzion Power has problem with keyboard and mouse movement only in games.

Hey guys,
recently built a new system and chose to go with the 870A Fuzion Power mainboard, everything has gone very smoothly execpt for one problem, only when I play games like Crysis 2 ect the mouse seems to jolt around now and again and the keyboard decides to stop responding if I hold down the movement keys, and this is only in game not surfing the web for example. Now, I am using a wireless mouse and keyboard but I plugged in a PS/2 keyboard and the exact same thing happened. I've installed all of the drivers that came with this board and the drivers for the mouse and keyboard. Any of you guys ever had this sort of problem or know how to fix this?

I bought a new Macbook pro in june 2010, I didn't have any keyboard or mouse issues prior to upgrading to 10.6.4 supposedly this update was made to fix some issues with keyboard and mouse becoming unresponsive. For me the opposite happened. after the upgrade, my keyboard and mouse (trackpad) becomes sometimes partially unresponsive or totally unresponsive. the only way to solve the problem is by completely turning of the computer and turning back on.. granted it doesn't happen very often.. generally once every about 2-3 weeks but it is still annoying though..
I didn't have a chance to use the computer too much on the previous version (10.6.3) so I don't know if it is software related or hardware related.. any thoughts?

Radius L10W-B keyboard and mouse issues

Hello, I have just purchased a Toshiba Satelite Radius L10W-B notebook less then a day ago, and am exeriancing SERIOUS keyboard and mouse issues, Juts after purchasinng this notebook, after converting it to tablet mode and back to notebok mode, the keyboard and mouse was NON existant for over 4 hours, DID NOT WORK AT ALL. I took it back to the reseller and ofcourse as soon as I tried to show the issue, all worked fine. Now, I have massive latency issues with both keyboard and mouse. The keyboard misses key strokes in almost every 8 keys. I get 1 missed keystroke in every 8 keys pressed when typing, and these are not typos, just absolutely nothing, thyre absolute misses all togeather. This make for alot of retyping and backspacing etc etc. also, the mouse is disabled for about 3 seconds after tying, then snaps back into action. This means when typing and switching to the mouse reasonably fast, the mouse is non responsive for about 1 second which is fairly irretating. This email took over 20 minutes to write, for this exact reason. Im sure this is not normal. I really love this notebook in every other aspect, however these issues just make it plain ususuable. Any ideas? Thanks!

thanks for the reply. However im convinced this is hardware related! While I really hope not, Ive tried all solutions posted by others.
It simply seems the keyboard is poor quality and the rest of the laptop is awesome!
I really hope im wrong! But its my gut feeling

I downloaded flex sdk to see if there is anything that will help me. But, In flex sdk, I cannot find anything that would ease my path. I want to stick to developing in C# to talk to Flash applications. What is the best way to proceed? Are there any sdks that I can download and use for C# development to interact with the flex controls? What is the way to go? I seem not to find any good hits in the web as well

Hi,
The event log in your posting is a general error event which occurs when application stops responding. Please make sure the latest patches and service packs are installed for your Outlook 2007.
Please also restart Outlook in safe mode(Start > Run, type Outlook /safe and Enter) to check whether Outlook 2007 is still not responding or not.

HP ENVY 15-q014tx Issues with touchpad and mouse

Dear HP,
I recently bought this laptop and it have been giving me problems ever since.
Let me start with the touchpad issue. It started out with my touchpad having issues but I shrugged it off as I thought it would've disappeared. It did. But it comes back ever so often I find it hard to ignore anymore. It works as and when it feels like working. The touchpad jumps around the page and clicks when I try to move it around. I can't even scroll up and down with my 2 fingers. I searched and there is no updates available for all my drivers.
Another issue is when I plug in my mouse, the computer suddenly becomes extremely jumpy. For example, when I watch a video on youtube or any other website (I've tried on all browsers), the video will suddenly stop and it will emit a buzzing noise as though it has been hung and shortly after continues where it has left off. I realise if I change the power option from power saving to high performance this will occur less often. But recently, I feel that it happens too often even when it is plugged in and at high performance. I've called in about this issue and have been waiting for a return phone call ever since. I have yet to receive a return call. (I have since taken a video of what happened so you can better relate to what I meant)
Another problem that I have made a temporary fix for is that my computer is unable to shutdown when I do a proper shutdown. I have since made a shortcut key that does a shutdown command to turn off the computer.
I really hope I can get this fixed asap. I await your favourable reply.

Edit. I forgot to add that I ran a full hardware scan by restarting the computer, pressing F2 and then running a Extensive System Test. Everything passed

Ultraslim Plus keyboard and mouse issues with windows 8.1 (hesitation/jerkiness)

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with their Ultrslim Plus keyboard and mouse after the update to windows 8.1? Mine seems very hesitant missing lots of key presses and the mouse pointers movement accross the screen is jerky. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers but it still isn't working like it was yesterday. Batteries for both show as 100% and nothing else has changed.

My mistake. I'd installed version 1.5, the updated version 1.8 (specifically mentions windows 8.1 on download link) works perfectly.

The only way to purchase from the iTunes Store is via iTunes, on a computer or iOS device, and it will automatically download your purchase immediately. You have a couple of options: you can go ahead and purchase on another computer that has iTunes and then just copy the purchases to your Vista system (via any normal means of file transfer), or if you're in the US, the new iTunes in the Cloud feature, currently in beta and so not completely reliable, would allow you to download the purchases again at some future time when you get your iTunes problems sorted out. I'd recommend the first option as the best solution for now (and the only solution if you're not in the US).

Keyboard and mouse issues following Snow Leopard update

I have a relatively ancient iMac--first aluminum bodied Intel-based model c. 2007. I was having issues updating my browsers (firefox, chrome) because I was on the old OS X (10.5.8 I think). So I did the Snow Leopard upgrade and since then have been having persistent keyboard (aluminum wireless) and mouse (mighty mouse connected via USB) issues.
I have verified the keyboard is connected via Bluetooth. I have verified that the keyboard is responding by opening the keyboard viewer and watching each of the keys light up as I type. Also, the keyboard will wake the computer from sleep and sometimes allow me to toggle between programs with Command+Tab.
Nevertheless, the keyboard will NOT type inside programs such as Word and Chrome. (It WILL type in the Post-it Note dashboard app, but I can't copy and paste into a browser from there.)
The Mouse will work in Chrome but in Finder and iTunes, e.g., it will not work. I can't use the mouse to select a folder in the folder tree to the left or to select a song or file/folder in the main window. I CAN, however, use the mouse to minimize/maximize/close each window.
Rebooting corrects the problem temporarily, but if I get up and walk away for a bit the keyboard and mouse re-freeze upon returning.
I have reset the PRAM and SMC because I saw these fixes listed in other discussion threads. Neither has fixed my issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse issue

I have a 20" Aluminium iMac with the bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Recently i've started to have some issues where the keyboard keeps disconnecting & reconnecting, also the mouse going slow and jerky. They have been working perfectly fine for the past year but only recently started to play up. I have gone into bluetooth prefs and deleted them and re-connected, this seemed to be a temporary fix but after a while it started again, although not as bad as before. I usually leave my Mac on all the time and just put it in sleep mode, the issue now seems to be waking it from sleep as well. I have tried restarts and re pairing as i said before but nothing seems to be solving the issue. Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated.

Problem with "Keybord and Mouse" on Preference Pane

I can't open "Keybord and Mouse" on Preference Pane.
When I click on it, it doesn't open, just keeps loading until I click any other option except "Keybord and Mouse". Otherwise it opens an empty preference pane window, displaying nothing but the gray background.
I can't access any keybord or mouse configuration. How do I fix it?

Hi, did anyone fix this problem yet?
My problem is that i copied the 10.5.2 HD from my old Macbook to my new MBP (with the new multitouch trackpad) to save time and to avoid a new install. Everything works except the mouse and keyboad preference pane. It seems that the demos for the swipe etc are non existent, and therefore the UI does not seem to work. This seems to make sense, as the Macbook did not have the options for multitouch. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there any way I can reinstall the missing components to avoid a fresh install?

Problem with keyboard and mouse pm8m-v

I have gotten this pm8m-v from a freind who knew nothing about computers. He had problems with the keyboard and mouse not responding at start up or just freeze on him. So I check it out, called MSI and even sent it to them, they claimed that there was nothing wrong with the board. So here are the specs of the computer now:
pm8m-v motherboard
2-256MB memory PC-2700 DDR 333Mhz
intel P4 2.6GHz
codegen power supply 300W
gateway CDW
western digital 40 harddrive
the rest is on board stuff
the problem is still there and it is driving me crazy, can you please help?

I had the same problem with the PM8M-V, today as a matter of fact, and I kept getting locked up at the point where I had to hit enter to load the WinXP CD to setup the system. After finding this topic I tried a different keyboard. The one that was being used was a Kennsiington PS2 cheapo, I swapped it for a Microsoft (one of those ergonomic styles and I've had it for a long time) Keyboard PS2, and the problem went away. I'm typing on the Kennsington right now, so it's fine just wasn't liked by the PM8M-V for some reason.
