Internal orders - what is its IDOC

I want to create an internal order in finance/controlling. My scenario is to create a IDOC for internal orders in sap system. I am going to use IDOC sender adapter to post the data in SAP. Can some one tell me what is the IDOC type or IDOC I need to import into Integration Repository.
Thanks,
Reddy P

Hi,
It depends on what version of R/3 system you are using...
See if your R/3 system has the IDoc types - INTERNAL_ORDER01 /INTERNAL_ORDER_CREATE01 / INTERNAL_ORDER_CREATE02...?
These can be used..
You can use FMs - IDOC_INPUT_INTERNAL_ORDER / IDOC_INPUT_INTERNAL_ORDER_CREA to post and create the internal orders
Thanks.

  • User exit for Internal Order SaveReplica or ALE/IDOC

    Hi,
We're currently copying back internal orders from our PRD environment into QAS using the class method InternalOrder SaveReplica via the distribution model in BD64.
We've extended table AUFK to include some custom fields and are populating it nicely via the user exit provided.  However, we want to include these values when we replicate the data back in our QAS environment.
The BAPI for method CREATE contains the "EXTENSIONIN" table so I think I know what to do there, but we are using SAVEREPLICA which doesn't offer any extra fields.
What is the best way to copy this data back into QAS?
Would it make sense to put a user exit RFC call in the QAS system to populate the values after reading them from the PRD system at the time of saving?
I can't find any user exits.  We are doing this based off of change pointers.
Would you recommend using basic ALE, doing an extension to idoc type internalorders01 or something?
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hi,
usage of specific combinations of internal orders + cost elements:
    Create FI-validation rule (T-code OB28 or GGB1) using BSEG-HKONT, BSEG-AUFNR for call-up point 2. Assigne this rule to the comp. code(s) needed.

  • Changing internal order's via Inbound IDOC

    Hi,
We are having Inbound interface set for creating internal order's using message type 'INTERNAL_ORDER_CREATE01'.
But when any existing internal order is changed it is giving status 51 with error 'Order already exists'.
I am wondering how can we handle the changed order situation via inbound IDOC . Is it possible to do it via message type 'INTERNAL_ORDER_CREATE01'.
    Regards,
    ganesh

    Hi ganesh,
The idoc Status 51 for indound idoc is....
    51 Application document not posted
the possible solution is checkthe Partner profile for the Idoc and Port number..
and go to T_code we20 and check the Partner.and check the Syntax in the application tool bar...
then you will come to know the problem..
and if you wan to changed order situation via inbound IDOC , yes it is possibel.
go to t-code we57 and check the Function module attached to the message type .
and go to FM and find hte customer exit and read the segment which contains order situation and modify the segment..
i hope this will solve the problem..

  • Using a different Sender GL in Internal Order Settlement

When we settle an Internal Order from GL/Cost Element 1 to Fixed Assets, we get:
    Dr: Fixed Asset
    Cr: GL/Cost Element 1.
For various reasons, we do not want to Credit the original GL/Cost Element but rather another one.
Does anyone have any sugestions as to how this can be achieved?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Can you tell me what is meant by "Internal Order from GL/Cost Element.."?
As per the functionality, when you settle an internal order, something is moved from the intrnal order and put to another.  Hence the place from where it is moved is credited and the receiver is debited.  The internal order has postings through the cost element you have posted.  So the movement is from what the internal order has in its account.
Order settlement is done through a secondary cost element created and this cost element is used for debiting and crediting the sender and receivers.  Hence your idea of using a totally different GL/Cost element (of course that do not have postings with respect fo the internal order in question) is not practical, I hope.

  • Internal Order Assigned to - Report

    Hi Friends,
Is there any standard report for checking the internal order for which its is assigned to. Ex. Purchase Order, Asset transactions and for some custom programs etc.
    Regards,
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
We can devide Internal order transactions into 3 types
                          Planning   - Report : KOBP
                          Commitment-Report : KOB2
                          Actual   - Report : KOB1
Purchase requisitions and purchase orders comes under Commitment
You can get Purchase orders in ME2K
You can view S_ALR_87013010 Report for Internal orders drill down by period wise .

  • Internal Orders versus Project Systems

    Hi
My client is currently using WBS elements for capital projects.   Project System is not in scope; thus, we are trying to decide whether we should bring it in scope with limited functionality or use internal orders for capital projects. I'm writing a position paper describing comparison of using project system versus internal order. Can any one of you please help me in providing the differentiating points. And also can you please give a description of capital projects.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi,
To begin with Internal order is a cost object like the WBS elements and activities in the Projects.
For the capital Projects following are the Points that should Favor the PS as compared to Internal Orders:
    1. Time planning Possible
    2. Resourse Planning possible.
    3. Capacity planning and leveling possible.
    4. Cost planning is possible in detail.
    5. Material Planning possible.
    6. Budget planning is possible in detail for the various phases of the project.
    7. Cost and Budget monitoring is possible at the various phases in detail.
    8. For the long term projects the Cash management is possible.
    9. Revenue Planning and monitoring is possible in details.
Above all the PS is more flexible in handling all the project related issues than Internal order.
Now its upto one to use the functionality of PS to one's requirement.
In short PS module is like an Expert Doctor than a general physician.
    Hope its useful.
    Reward points if useful.
    Thanks..

    Please reply me frds,
    Thanks,
    Srem.

    hello Lakshmipathi,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I tried to change the requierement class in order to put one with special stock E as you explained, but i still have my weird schedule line. When i put the item in the order it is 0 stock for today, but stock find in 12 days either if there is stock or no(unrestricted stock i mean).
If i change the RDD in more than 12 days the stock is available for the date requested.
If you have an idea of what could be wrong because on my case i want the schedule line to be at 0 while the sales order reservation has not been processed (via MB1B/412/E) and once the stock movement is done the schedule line has to be find.
I dont know if im clear enought..
To be more clear,  i want the schedule line based on the "sales order stock" and not on the "unrestricted stock".
    thanks for your help!

  • Problems and Issues with Internal Order Transactions

Hello I have a couple of problems with Internal Order Transactons.
Its strange really, when I simulate in the development server. I do the following process:
Assign Asset with IO -> Create PR with account assignment to an Asset -> Create PO with Reference to PR -> Create GR.
Once this occurs, the transaction seems to reflect in particular reports such as List: Order by Cost Element, List: Budget/Actual/Commitments, etc.
But when another user does a similar process in PRD, it doesnt seem to reflect in these reports.
Also while, I cant seem to pass the GR if the Internal Order has not been released. The user was able to create a GR whose IO has not been released yet.
These problems are quite striking to me. Does anyone know the possible causes of the situations at hand? Any feedback will be most helpful.
Thank you all and good day.

Ok never mind, seems I found the culprit (though the reason gives more questions than answers)! Thanks anyways

  • Internal order and its link to equipment master record

    What is internal order?
How it is created and its link to equipment master record?

    Hi,
Maintenance Orders can be linked with Equipment while creating in IW31.
Other Internal Orders will have their own featues. If the orders to be posted directly to some cost centers or some cost receivers, CO people may create the orders directly using KO01.

  • Internal order and its Position ID

    Hello,
After creating an Internal Order (IO) we will assign in IM22 (like Specified, clubbed, project.
Now i want to know which IO is assigned to which node
    any table for that?

    hi
Just few days back only we came across this type of situation.
There is no direct table what are the IO are using the IM position id etc., You can use three tables here
first u download the IM positions from IMPR table and then go the IMZO table where u can get the OBJnumber basing on the IMpositions then u go for AUFK table and find the internal orders or therwise remove first three or four characters then the remaining portion of the object number become internal order.
I hope it wil certainly help to get the required information.  please let me know if you required any further info on this.

  • What is meant by internal order?

    Hi
what is meant by internal order?
    thanks in advance

An instrument used to monitor costs and, in some instances, the revenues of an organization.
Internal orders can be used for the following purposes:
Monitoring the costs of short-term jobs
Monitoring the costs and revenues of a specific service
    Ongoing cost control
Internal orders are divided into the following categories:
Overhead orders - For short-term monitoring of the indirect costs arising from jobs. They can also be used for continuous monitoring of subareas of indirect costs. Overhead orders can collect plan and actual costs independently of organizational cost center structures and business processes, enabling continous cost control in the enterprise.
Investment orders - Monitor investment costs that can be capitalized and settled to fixed assets.
Accrual orders - Monitor period-based accrual between expenses posted in Financial Accounting and accrual costs in Controlling.
Orders with revenues - Monitor the costs and revenues arising from activities for partners outside the organization, or from activities not belonging to the core business of the organization.

  • GR/IR -Internal Order

I have done the following process:
    a) Created purchase requisition with account assignment catedory A and assigned AUC # and Internal Order #.
Committments are getting booked at internal order. Looks fine.
    b) Created purchase order with reference of PR. Committment is transfered from PR to PO at internal order. Looks
    fine.
    c) When I am doing a GR for that AUC with ref to PO, AUC number and internal order # is assigned in GR document. In
the accounting doc, AUC is getting debit and GR/IR account is getting credit. But neither internal order is showing
up in the accounting document nor its updating committments at internal order.
What's missing? How can i get the GR updated to internal order.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Please check all these are in sink or not?
The acquisition transaction types in Asset Accounting have to be designated as relevant to the budget.
The APC asset balance sheet accounts have to be defined as statistical cost elements.
The APC asset balance sheet accounts have to have a field status group that should allow additional account assignment to orders

  • Internal order - Error - Different logical system for order

    Hello all,
I try to send IDoc (INTERNAL_ORDER) from system A to system B.
    I have done:
    - BD64 / WE20 / WE21
But after having customizing I have got following error:
Different logical system for order xxxxxx
    Message no. 2075ALE001
    Diagnosis
Internal order xxxxxxx already exists in system B. Its master system B is different from the master system A of the new internal order to be distributed with the same order number xxxxxxx.
    System Response
Internal order xxxxxxx with master system A cannot be distributed in system B.
    Procedure
Check customizing for ALE for internal orders.
    How to solve this?
My aim is to maintain internal order master data in test system.
    Thanks for your help.
    David

    I have found something.
If I change in table AUFK, logical from empty to A (master) and I run IDOC then IDOC has been correctly integrated.
    Then: how to define "master"?
