Interrupt Key Sequence? Is there one?

Hey everyone... a quick question.
Sometimes I'll forget to leave the 'abort' button in the menu bar and then I write a bit of code that hangs up somewhere and can't stop it. So I have to kill labview to get out.
Is there a key sequence (like 'open-apple . ' for anyone who ever used hypercard on macs) which will interrupt the program?

Hi,
I alway use a vi that runs on start up. I usually call it "Stop All.vi". This vi gets all vi's in memory (application property node), and then in a for loop opens references to each vi and aborts (vi method) it. If LabVIEW hangs up, I open this vi from windows explorer (or desktop, or recently opened) and all vi's are aborted.
When you aborting all vi's in memory, don't forget to check if the name equals "Stop All.vi", or "Stop All.vi" itself will be aborted!
If you didn't make such a vi at front, you can use task manager to stop LabVIEW (but don't press "end now"!). Then LabVIEW will prompt with a dialog. If you cancel the shut down, you'll still get a change to save all modified vi's.

Those choices are controlled via System Preferences, Trackpad.

Keypad Lock - change unlock key sequence

Is there any way to change the keypad unlock key sequence as it is too easy to do by accident. I have found that there are a few different ways of unlocking the keypad other than the one stated in the manual, all only require two key strokes. The most annoying one is the center of the navigation key followed by 'OK' this is very easy to do whilst in a pocket. I think a key combination of at least three different keys would be better or simpler (and better for me) only unlock the keypad when opening the sliding keypad.
Any help would be appreciated.

We are trying to create a composite PK like the following:

I think you may be misunderstanding the doc.
A composite key class may also be used to override sort order, but it may contain only a single key field that has one of the types previously mentioned.This means that if you have a sequence, you can only have one key field. In the code you posted, you're defining two key fields.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:A composite key class used with a sequence may contain only a single integer key field: es.correos.ape.dao.notification.pojo.ExamplePK[Server1:1291138230743]This is telling you that you cannot have more than one key field, when using a sequence.

How to make restricted key figure global (There are same topics)

Sorry to post this question again but I was not happy with other topics answers. I am developing a SAP BSC (Balanced Scorecard) version 6.0. In order to generate results I need to use 'Calculated Key Figures' (SAP BSC does not read Restricted ones). No problem so far. However I have a query from the Controlling area of my company where all financial KPIs are restricted in Rows (right side of Bex) instead under 'Restricted Key Figures' area on the left panel. They are not global. It is a lot of them. My option, for while, is to recreated all of them on the left side and than transform them in 'Calculated Key Figures'.
There is other way to 'move' these 'Selection' to make them global on the left side? This would save me two weeks.

In Query Designer,in left panel....expand 'KEY FIGURES' tree and rght click on 'Restricted Keyfigures'--->new restricted KF.

Finder Window - command 1, 2, 3 or 4 key sequences don't work

Help with this one would be greatly apprecieated. In a finder window, command 1, 2, 3 or 4 key sequences don't work. In fact, command 2 sleeps the computer instead of displaying the icons in List View

to clarify..in winamp you simply click remove duplicates and all duplicate songs are removed. In Itunes it appears you have to click on each individuale song. (yes you can hold the control key and hit delete one time , but when yo uhave hundreds or thousands of songs this is very time consuming

'invalid Key Sequence' error when doing a lookup_ext on a Persistent DS

I have a pesistent data store that I populate with a query transform.
After the DF is finished, I call a script to do the Lookup_ext on the DS that sets a global variable.
I am getting the error:
70806 <persistent cache table <Temp_3> is being read with an invalid key sequence>
Any information out there on this problem would be greatly appreciated

I can reproduce this erro, but need to check if its a bug or not
for the workaround
- check if the Persistent cache table that you are creating has key defined for it
- In the lookup call in script, you should use the same key columns in the Condition and in same order
Pass the Compare value through Varaibles instead of Constants
for exmple :-
#declare a global varaible to store the value to compare
$G_EMP_NO = 7788;
lookup_ext([PersistentCache..EMP_DATA,'PRE_LOAD_CACHE','MAX'], [EMPNO],[NULL],[EMPNO,'=',$G_EMP_NO]);
and see if it works for you

Nokia 2700 bluetooth key sequence (broken display)...

Hi all, I have a nokia 2700 thats screen is broke after i dropped it. I need to get some things off and need to know the key sequence for turning on my bluetooth so i can browse it with my mac, i tried to download a plug in but need isync which i dont have and cant afford so if anyone can tell me how to turn bluetooth on i would be so so so greatful!

Unfortunately it is a bit complicated as your phone does not support copy/paste. There is a workaround though, make a full backup of your phone with Nokia Suite (as you are using Mac, you'll need to get an access to a Windows PC to do this).
If you do not have another Nokia 2700 available, your only option to get the data is to use an application that can open up the backup file and show it's contents. Please see this thread for more information on that. Please note that it is not an official Nokia application, so we cannot provide you with instructions on how to use it.

Trap force quit key sequence

Does anyone know of a way to trap the Mac OS X Force Quit key sequence (Cmd-Opt-Escape)?
I want to come up with a way of preventing a user from force quitting.
On using SetSystemUIMode(kUIModeContentHidden, kUIOptionDisableForceQuit), disables the dock also. But I want dock to be visible.
Is there any way to trap force quit sequence so that I could be able to disable it.

Lion Terminal Application key sequence "cntl-shift-E-c-." doesn't work???

This key sequence "control shift E c ." terminates my Linux console application session which used to control a second Linux session
If I am unable to enter it, I must end the terminal window to end the console session
The sequence worked on Snow Leopard by default, but does not work on the Lion Terminal Appication
I get a "beep" when entering the E

I really wanted to preserve the terminal log files on the MacBookPro
I went to the Los Gatos Apple Store Genius bar this morning with 2 MacBookPros (Lion and Snow Leopard)
After a lot of experimentation, DJ was able to discover that control prefaced commands are insensitive
to case on Lion. They are always upper case. So am able to terminate the console command run
from an ssh session on my desktop linux workstation using Terminal from the the MacBookPro (Lion)
using the sequence cntl-e-. which is passed through
Control C will not work, this sequence cntl-Ec puts the input into a mode where around 20 commands
can be passed to the console application. These commands include buffer playback form the console
input-output log, bumping a user who had attached before you, disconnect, and some others
Background:
The linux "console" application attaches the caller to the serial console port of a connected linux system
The sequence with the shift key I use on a lot of terminal emulatiors (Windows putty, other linux terminal
simulators, the "Termainal" app on Snow Leopard all accepted this command sequence (cntl-shift-E-c-.)
and passed it to the application that was connected. Now I am able to disconnect from Lion without killing
the MacBookPro Terminal session
