Inventory dead..??
don't know for sure,, but latest patch applied is the WOL patch,
and,, inventory for PC's that are NOT power-on doesn't work.
Setup is 2 main server for Zen
1 as a standalone/remote server for DB only ( zen internal sybase)
1 as a Zenworks server without the DB
also got 2 WS's configured as Satelites on 2 other IP-segments.
Any idea how/why,,etc,, ?
Or any were to verify if the setup IS still working correctly ?

Dead inventory since 60 / 180 days
All SAP Gurus,
What is the report to view / know the Dead inventory since 60 days (or from certain period).
we want to know the inventory items for which no movement has occured since certain period (say 60 days or 180 days).
Regards,Hi
MC50 - Dead Stock Report
Regards

I have a new install of ZDLM 7 SP1 IR3a w/ HP3 installed on SLES 10 SP2 w/ OES2 SP1. Everything is working fine except the inventory service. I can start novell-zdm-inv and it starts fine, but checking the status of it 3 seconds later and the service reports its dead.
The Inventory service object reports "610: The Database Location Policy is not configured". But, it is. I checked the effective policies for the server as well and everything is fine there.
Any idea on what to try next?I got this figured out. This machine is a VM and had a runaway clock on it, causing timesync issues. After fixing that, running a repair, and re-creating the server policy package everything started to work fine.

Our client wants a report for Inventory Ageing. (we are not using batch management)
Use tried to sell Standard report MC46 but they are not convinced with the results.
The issue is if the material is not consumed for last 399 days but today if some movement is there in that particular material, then the material is not shown as non moving. Actually the material was not at all used for last 399 days.
In mc.5 report there are key figures like last consumption, last good issue etc but the same problem is there with it.
We are trying to develop a customised report.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.Hi,
The Stock Aging Report displays the description of material that are stocked for n-number of periods at particular inventory locations( may be trading plant or manufacturing Plant). The details, which are displayed, are about the aging period for the selected items.
There are reports and T code are
MC.A ,
MC.9,
MM5B,
MMBE,
MB5M,
MC50 - Dead Stock ,
MC46 - Slow-moving items,
If the above reports not meet your requirement, you should develop your own ABAP program to meet your specific business requirement.
This is define in overall stock on value based, suppose a material is received in Feb-month, same material is received in Jan-2007 , DEC-2007 also. The total value of this inventory is say 90 lakhs, ( 30 lakhs of each month) so system will show inventory aging as below
stock aging less than 30 days, 90 lakhs
stock aging more than 30 days but below 60 days 60 lakhs
stock ageing more than 60 days but below 90 days 30 lakhs
Assuming that no issue taken place if issue is taken place, it will be deducted by default FIFO method.
You may have to develop an ABAP report.
However, look into the path: information system > logistics > inventory managment > material and explore all like MC.9,MC.A,MC.B & MC.C

Hi
I require Inventory (raw material) ageing report. Ageing date must be calculated from date of goods receipt.
For example:
I have 100 units of Raw Material A.
Goods receipts date were as follows:
30 units: 1st April 2009
45 units: 1st July 2009
25 units: 1st September 2009
So inventory aging as on 30th September must be:
(days calculated from GR date to 30th Sept)
0 - 30 Days --> 25 units
31 - 60 Days --> 45 units
61 - 90 Days --> 30 units
Let me know TCode from where i can get the inventory ageing as mentioned above or let me know the TCodes / Tables which be helpful for developing report.Hi,
Check teh Standard Reports:
MC.9 - INVCO: Material Analysis Selection, Stock
MC.B - INVCO: Material Analysis Selection, Turnover
MC40 - INVCO: ABC Analysis of Usage Values
MC44 - INVCO:Analysis of Inventory Turnover
MC49 - INVCO: Mean Stock Values

Urgent: regarding physical inventory report display
hi,
i had made a report in which i have to display the physical inventory report details in which details about the material is to be given.
I want to check the details which are present in the tcode MI07 . Can anybody tell me any tcode in which i can see the details of mi07 tcode(including the reason of it).Greetings,
It might shed some light to read about the display in your portable computer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LCD
LCDs are primarily plastic panels with various layers inside. Pressure applied to those panels can cause them to crack, leaking the liquid crystal components about. Pressure could be heavy books in a bag pushing against the screen, heavy cat sitting on a closed lid, dog, other animal, someone slamming the lid, child running through the room, etc. This applies to any LCD whether it be in a computer or in a Television (don't press too hard on your TV screen!!).
Displays don't exhibit the type of damage you indicate by themselves. A single pixel might go dead in an LCD but zig zag lines indicates cracking of the layers inside the panels themselves. Something from the outside world made an impact on the display resulting in the damage you see. You may not have been the one pressing hard on it and you may not have seen it happen, but something happened.
The 1 year limited warranty and AppleCare protection plan offer coverage for component failures, not damage.
Coverage for damage would be provided by something along the lines of insurances (home owners, renters, etc.) If you purchased this computer with a Credit Card you may wish to contact your Credit Card company. Many cards have included insurance for purchases you make so even if an item is damage during your use of it, they will cover it.
Best of luck. -
I am needing help on a inventory program for a class that was due a couple of days ago. The program needs to use an array to store items, output should display the value on the entire inventory, and use a method to calculate the inventory and sort the array items by name. Distribution appears dead!
Does anyone know what the error message "Distribution appears dead!" means?
I have several distributions applied to several servers. They are set to
refresh hourly. All of them worked perfectly at one time, but now each
distribution is returning this error message for some, but never the same
servers.
For example:
Distribution 1 (inventory policy) reports the error on servers a,b, and c.
Distribution 2 (file distribution) reports the error on servers d, e, and
f.
Distribution 3 (file distribution) returns the error on servers g, h, and
i.
I've checked the KB, but found no reference to this error message.
Thank you for your assistance.

Inventory ageing of the materials
hi all,
Need an report which gives the Ageing for the Inventory standing ason a particular period with the bifurcation between Finsihed go ods, Raw materials, Working in Progress with respect to movement of materials. And also need to check for the consumption and cov rage of the materials for ABC analysis.
with regards
VBakyarajHi
Check it in
MB5B - stock as on posting date
MC50 - dead stock analysis
MC46- slow moving items
MB5L - List of stock values
MC.9 - Material analysis
Regards,
Raman -
Hi friends,
Regarding slow moving items in our inventory as well as obsolete items and any possibility of getting items that are in stock for extended periods of time or even obsolete items based on criteria that we can feed in.
MadhavanHi,
In MC46--Slow moving stock
Here if you input the Past consumption period in days say from last one year ( 365 days) then in this report system will display all those materials from descending order to 0 days
for ex
Material A --- 365 days ( No consumption
Material B --- 300 days ( no cons)
Material C --- 10 days ( no cons)
etc....
In MC50 -- Dead stock
System will display the Inventory stock for a particular period say for 1 year .
So all the stock which have n't done any movements for the past 1 year will display.

Hi,
We want to convert some LIS-reports, like "dead stock" and "Inventory turnover" to a BW report. I have activated InfoCube 0IC_C03.
Does anybody have experience to create a "Dead stock" report in BW(Dead stock is the part of your warehouse stock that has not been used for a certain period of time.)? Which info cube is used?
Regards,
WimHi,
I Hope, Slow moving materials (0IC_MC01) Multi provider will help you.

Zenserver process dead after installing June 2011 PRU
ZCM 10.3.1 on SLES
We were trying to image a new model of computer, Lenovo M91p, and having problems getting PreBoot service to launch. Thought perhaps the latest PRU would fix it. So downloaded and deployed the June 2011 PRU, and rebooted the server. Server sent this message via email.
"Error: [6/2/11 2:26:29 PM] Loader.SettingsRefreshModule SettingsModule.SettingsUnknownError An internal error occurred while trying to refresh the system settings."
At console the zenserver process status is "dead". I issued a zenserver restart but still "dead".
What happened and how can I fix it?
I installed this box a year ago just to test out Zenworks Configuration Management and this is the first problem we've had.Rbaker,
the PRU is only for inventory, it contains updated definitions for
software and hardware, it's not going to help with imaging, and should
not have caused this problem. A reboot is not required after deploying
the PRU, so I suggest that the problem was already present, just
waiting to happen when the server was restarted. Can I suggest that you
post this in the server-install forum, where you'll stand a better
chance of getting the help you need?

I need some serious help and I'd appreciate anyone who knows Java. Here is the assignment:
Modify the Inventory Program so the application can handle multiple items. Use an array to store the items. The output should display the information one product at a time, including the item number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, the price of each unit, and the value of the inventory of that product. In addition, the output should display the value of the entire inventory.
*?h Create a method to calculate the value of the entire inventory.*
*?h Create another method to sort the array items by the name of the product.*
*?h Post as an attachment in java forma*
I have not completed the program so I am not sure what kind of errors I will get. For some reason I cannot get past the first part of code. The errors are in bold print. The error for "new DVD(....) reads "cannot find symbol". The System.out.println("...") error reads "cannot find symbol..symbol: method getDVDPrice()...location: class inventoryprogram1app.DVD[]...operator + cannot be applied to java.lang.String,Arrray.getDVDPrice. I think that most of the bottom half is ok because I have no errors here, it's just the top part that I cant get past. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am still working on the program and trying to correct the errors, but when I correct 1 or 2 errors lines that were not errors at first became errors. I've been working on this since last night and can't for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong. The code is not completed because I am trying to correct the current errors. I did run the program to get the error messages. I would appreciate any advice on what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Feature Request: Uninstall App
I don't see a way to uninstall a recently installed app, does this mean we just drag-n-drop? I'm making a feature request for the ability to uninstall, or an explanation of how to uninstall otherwise. <Edited by Host>
