I have i phone 5 iOS 7 running freshly installed but i got stucked required apple id password person who actually bought this. At the initial setup after language and wifi section , I have no information as I bough this online . Can any one help how can I resolve this and start using my I phone

No. Without that Apple ID and password, you just bought a paperweight. Return it to get your money back.

You need iTunes 11.1 which is not available for download in google chrome or other browsers. The only browser it has worked for with me is Safari. Hope this helps!

IBook 2 is saying that iOS 5 is required to open a book created with iAuthor.

We have created an inhouse iBook for an upcoming meeting. We have about 200 users to download and install the book on their iPads. Some who are still on an older version of iOS are able to install the iBook app and even download the book itself. But when they go to open and view the book it tells them they need iOS 5 or later to do so. IS there a way to not have them all upgrade their iOS?
This is a rush so any help would be appreciated!!!!

Just for the record, let me clarify some terminology.
An update is when you get software of a newer version but the mostly same capbility.
An upgrade is when you get software of substantially improved capability or new features in a feature family.
A feature set upgrade is when you move up to a different licensed set of features.
In general, service contracts will get you updates and ugrades, but feature set upgrades will require a purchase (just like going from Windows Home to Windows Ultimate, for example)
The issue that Leo refers to was the January 2011 change where software center started a more rigourous enforcement of access based on covered products, which prevented users from downloading software for devices and device families for which they had no service contract. Customers have always needed a service contract to download Cisco IOS; the change merely disabled the ability to inadventently download software for which no active service contract existed.

How can I connect my iPhone 4 while using IOS 7 that requires a USB 3.0?

I've been trying to connect my iPhone 4 (IOS 7) using a USB 2.0 Cable. I've jumped to the conclusion that I need a USB 3.0 cable to connect to my computer, in order to sync my files and music. I thought about splicing a USB 2.0 cable;31 pin connector that connect's to my iPhone 4, and using the other end of the USB 3.0 cable to connect to my computer.
The only problem is, is that I'm curious if that is a solution that will/would work?
I would love to have someone help me with this problem!

Download the latest itunes into your computer and install it.Do not connect the iphone before intallation.After intalling, connect your iphone with usb 2.0 and wait for the drivers to install in your pc.Open and Click on the iphone bar on the upper right of itunes software and synchronise with your pc and you are ready.

Some iOS devices always require password??

I'm experiencing unusal behaviour with my 3 iOS devices and the store.
My wife has an iPod touch which is signed in using my AppleID. I have an iPhone and an iPad on the same account.
If I purchase an app on the computer or on my devices it appears automatically on her iPod (as I would expect as we have sync purchases on all 3 devices)
If I purchase an app on my PC or on one of my iOS devices it doesn't appear automatically. When they are next switched on they ask for the AppleID password (my wifes iPod doesn't do this). Is there a way to fix this?
The only thing I can think of it that in the past both of my iOS devices have used a different appleID at one time. If this is the issue is there a way to clear this?

it seems that we had timeouts at night when connection to the exchange server via activesync.
We found this out while monitoring the storage latency on our NAS / SAN.
The latency where > 6s which belongs in an timeout. I think iOS stops syncing if it is getting a timeout for a longer period.

When you get this message there is no alternative but to delete content from your phone, this per my conversation with Apple support a few minutes ago. In that cast try to delete only free apps or things like podcasts that can easily be restored from the original source should you desire to do so.
iTunes is a very poorly written program with an ancient interface--in 2014 it does not even support windowing. You are foolish to rely on iTunes for backing up and restoring whatever programs or data in order to upgrade the iOS. Apple's only concern with restoring and backing up data centers on DRM protrected music purchased from iTunes, nothing else and is designed to not restore media files not purchased from iTunes. Hence in my experience Apple telephone support will tell you to use third party software for transferring media from an old to a new phone when you encounter the inevitable problems. If as I do you use the phone for business software back up your data in the way that program deigns and do not rely on iTunes, particularly prior to upgrading the OS or transferring data to a new phone.
