Iphone4 in coma!

Please help.
My iphone4 is slow flashing between black screen and black screen showing the apple logo (about 15 sec on each) it is ignoring both soft and hard resets. The only response i can get out of it other than that is to dock it into my bose sound dock, it shows me a pic instructing me to attach the phone to itunes (this does nothing) or the ability to make emergency calls (but ony while it is docked)
does anyone know how i wake the thing up (i havent tried kissing it yet!)

try putting the phone into dfu mode and restore it from there.

Yes, it uses a SIM.
If you buy it with a carrier, then it will come with the SIM.

TS4180 Isn't there a real fix? There should be a scanner that corrects every photo automatically. The correct informaion is clearly sitting there in the .jpg file. It's just not in a form where Windows interprits it properly.

Iphone4S photos come into windows in seemingly random orientation. The proper orientation data is obviously in the file, because Apple software gets it right. This is no consolation for someone who's got a Windows PC, Is there a program that goes through all the iphone photos and puts the orientation data in a form that Windows understands?
Loading the photos on at a time, rotating them manually, and saving them is a silly waste of time. There has to be something better.

AppleMobileDeviceSupport not installable

Hello altogether,
yes, it sounds like a problem, that was posted a hundred times in several forums. But I was searching and testing over and over and I do not find a solution for my problem.
What I wanted to do, was to update iTunes. So I deinstalled Itunes. After reinstalling the new version, I got an error on starting Itunes. So I found a 'solution' on the apple support homepage how to uninstall ITunes completly - including the files that are left after uninstalling ITunes.
Then re-installing worked fine...the installer went through and I could start Itunes.
When plugging my Iphone4, there comes an error that says basically, that the AppleMobileDeviceSupport is not running (after trnaslation in google).
Yes - it is not running AND it is not present also. The files are not there in /porgram files/common files/apple mobile device...
Hmmm what else .. re-installed again and again, used a registry cleaner - no effect.
Then I found out, that I can extract Itunes_setup.exe so that I can run the installer for AppleMobileDeviceSupport independently. And on installation it throws an error. The other msi's install without error.
So now I need to know, if I can activate a trace-file or if the installer writes a log-file, where I can see, why the installation fails. What I can see, is that the errors 1033 and 1603 are visible after failed installation in windows 'action protocol'. (I don't know this name in english - maybe application log of windows).
Did anyone of you have the same problem?
A hint apart from 'reinstall windows' or "use iOS" would be nice

At what step exactly are you having the problem?
I have not seen the screen where you choose the source for packages.
When the first cdrom boots I get the following screens in order:
1. boot:
2. CD found (here you can test the media)
3. Welcome to Enterprise Linux
4. Language Selection
5. Keyboard configuration
6. Installation Type (server/workstation/...)
7. Disk Partitioning Setup
Then the installation proceeds successfully.
I tried to install the french version also and it proceeds to step 6 above without asking for source of the packages as indicated by you. Please update.

Why cant i open my photos and sync error cant finish!!!!

Yep! I have a new iMac 27" 2.66 w i5 Core, and a bloody iPhone4, and even the paid iMovie App on my phone, and nothing auto shakes hands like I fully expected?! Cripes, I'm the bloody brochure for fulfilling the Apple 2010 line of new products, and after that full cash transfer I made, then no finding or transferring video from the new iPhone4 in an auto-synch or import default from the phone to iMovie?!?! Huh?! Steve?!
I tried the iPhoto backdoor solution the guy mentioned in the comment above, but that just got me into the three hop method I used to have to perform with my old PC and third party software solution I was trying to leave? And all the dragging and cross opening of software did produce some of the ol' Microsuck steam from my ears too!
Apple, whaas-up with this gross oversight after bring'in 720p video to the iPhone4? Come'on guys!

IPhone 4 camera issue: check it out!

I'm asking you, iPhone 4 users, if you can make a test of your camera.
I am substantially pleased by the iPhone 4 camera but after some days of use, viewing the images at 100% crop (1:1), I discovered a defect on all the shots.
At the far left side, next to border and top to bottom, the image is blurry, independently of the point of focus of the lens.

I don't see anything, but I might be blind. If there's a bit of blurring on the edge, it's easy to crop.
The reason it might be blurry is because of how the iPhone takes a photo. You might think it's an instant capture of the whole scene, but it actually quickly captures the image from left to right. You might be seeing a small amount of jiggling as the image is captured. A real camera, using a CMOS image detector is much faster. A good digital camera can go up to ISO 6400 with 1/1000 speed (OK, only in very bright light).
This is why mobile phones (whether the iPhone or whatever) are just junk for taking real photos. You're trying to find perfection with a $20 part on the iPhone. If you want perfect photos, you need a $5000 Nikon D5 with $2000 lenses. But of course, a great camera is not the panacea for all photo issues or user incompetence.
I think your photos are nice, considering you're using a very limited iPhone camera. Crop it, and it'll look really good. Otherwise, your expectations are way too high for the iPhone camera.

All iphones in Apple stores have sims already installed in the phones. You should have no problem doing everything right in the store.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
